Comprehensive Summary: To better understand the impact of different anions on the structures and SCO properties of the CoII SCO complexes, six new complexes [Co(terpy‐CH2OH)2]A2·sol (terpy‐CH2OH = 4′‐(hydroxymethyl)‐2,2′;6′,2″‐terpyridine, A = Br– (1, sol = 1.5H2O), I– (2), N3– (3, sol = 2H2O), H3BCN– (4), OTf– (5), and TsO– (6, sol = 4H2O·CH3CN), have been synthesized and characterized. All six compounds consist of mononuclear [Co(terpy‐CH2OH)2]2+ cations and charge‐balancing anions that differ in size, shape, and hydrogen bonding capacity. Complexes 1, 2, 3, and 6 displayed incomplete gradual SCO transitions, whereas 4 and 5 exhibited abrupt hysteretic spin transitions with loops of 12 and 16 K (250.0—262.0 K for 4, and 370.0—386.0 K for 5, respectively), closely resembling our previously reported complexes with SCN– and SeCN– anions. The occurrence of the order‐disorder transition of the CH2OH groups and their transition temperatures are determined by the size and hydrogen bonding capability of the anions. Remarkably, the transition temperatures of complexes with H3BCN–, SCN–, OTf–, and SeCN– anions exhibit an upward trend as the size and mass of the anions increase, as confirmed through detailed single crystal structure analyses conducted in both high‐spin and low‐spin states for all four complexes. The phenomenon of flexoelectricity, wherein mechanical deformation induces alterations in the electron configuration of metal oxides, has emerged as a promising avenue for regulating electron transport. Leveraging this mechanism, stress sensing can be optimized through precise modulation of electron transport. In this study, the electron transport in 2D ultra‐smooth In2O3 crystals is modulated via flexoelectricity. By subjecting cubic In2O3 (c‐In2O3) crystals to significant strain gradients using an atomic force microscope (AFM) tip, the crystal symmetry is broken, resulting in the separation of positive and negative charge centers. Upon applying nano‐scale stress up to 100 nN, the output voltage and power values reach their maximum, e.g. 2.2 mV and 0.2 pW, respectively. The flexoelectric coefficient and flexocoupling coefficient of c‐In2O3 are determined as ≈0.49 nC m−1 and 0.4 V, respectively. More importantly, the sensitivity of the nano‐stress sensor upon c‐In2O3 flexoelectric effect reaches 20 nN, which is four to six orders smaller than that fabricated with other low dimensional materials based on the piezoresistive, capacitive, and piezoelectric effect. Such a deformation‐induced polarization modulates the band structure of c‐In2O3, significantly reducing the Schottky barrier height (SBH), thereby regulating its electron transport. The viscoelastic properties of the skin play a key role in supporting the skin‐healing process, also it may be changed due to some skin diseases.In this study, high‐frequency ultrasound (HFUS) elastography based on a Lamb wave model was used to noninvasively assess the viscoelastic anisotropy of human skin.Elastic waves were generated through an external vibrator, and the wave propagation velocity was measured through 40 MHz ultrafast HFUS imaging. Through the use of a thin‐layer gelatin phantom, HFUS elastography was verified to produce highly accurate estimates of elasticity and viscosity. In a human study involving five volunteers, viscoelastic anisotropy was assessed by rotating an ultrasound transducer 360°.An oval‐shaped pattern in the elasticity of human forearm skin was identified, indicating the high elastic anisotropy of skin; the average elastic moduli were 24.90 ± 6.63 and 13.64 ± 2.67 kPa along and across the collagen fiber orientation, respectively. The average viscosity of all the recruited volunteers was 3.23 ± 0.93 Pa·s.Although the examined skin exhibited elastic anisotropy, no evident viscosity anisotropy was observed. Retention of metabolic end‐products in the bodily fluids of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) may lead to uremia. The uremic toxin indoxyl sulfate (IS), a tryptophan metabolite, is an endogenous ligand of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR). It is clarified that the upregulation and activation of AhR by IS in tubular epithelial cells (TECs) promote renal senescence and fibrosis. Renal TEC‐specific knockout of AhR attenuates renal senescence and fibrosis, as well as the suppression of PGC1α‐mediated mitochondrial biogenesis in ischemia reperfusion (IR)‐ or IS‐treated CKD mice kidneys. Overexpression of peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor gamma coactivator 1‐α (PGC1α) attenuates IS‐induced cell senescence and extracellular matrix production in cultured TECs. Mechanistically, AhR is able to interact with PGC1α and promotes the ubiquitin degradation of PGC1α via its E3 ubiquitin ligase activity. In summary, the elevation and activation of AhR by the accumulated uremic toxins in the progression of CKD accelerate renal senescence and fibrosis by suppressing mitochondrial biogenesis via promoting ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of PGC1α. Hydrogen‐bonded organic frameworks (HOFs) are outstanding candidates for photocatalytic hydrogen evolution. However, most of reported HOFs suffer from poor stability and photocatalytic activity in the absence of Pt cocatalyst. Herein, a series of metal HOFs (Co2‐HOF‐X, X=COOMe, Br, tBu and OMe) have been rationally constructed based on dinuclear cobalt complexes, which exhibit exceptional stability in the presence of strong acid (12 M HCl) and strong base (5 M NaOH) for at least 10 days. More impressively, by varying the ‐X groups of the dinuclear cobalt complexes, the microenvironment of Co2‐HOF‐X can be modulated, giving rise to obviously different photocatalytic H2 production rates, following the −X group sequence of −COOMe>−Br>−tBu>−OMe. The optimized Co2‐HOF‐COOMe shows H2 generation rate up to 12.8 mmol g−1 h−1 in the absence of any additional noble‐metal photosensitizers and cocatalysts, which is superior to most reported Pt‐assisted photocatalytic systems. Experiments and theoretical calculations reveal that the −X groups grafted on Co2‐HOF‐X possess different electron‐withdrawing ability, thus regulating the electronic structures of Co catalytic centres and proton activation barrier for H2 production, and leading to the distinctly different photocatalytic activity. The facile spin coating fabrication of high‐dielectric‐constant (high‐k) multicomponent (Al,Ti,V,Zr,Hf)Ox films with an equivalent oxide thickness of ≈0.95 nm and the investigation of their thermal stability and dielectric and electrical properties of the resulting advanced metal–oxide–semiconductor (MOS)‐based electronic devices are reported in this study. Various heating conditions, including drying following spin coating, annealing after drying, and forming gas annealing, were investigated to optimize the quality of the films and reduce film defects. The favorable film‐based MOS devices exhibited robust capacitance–voltage (C–V) and current–voltage (I–V) characteristics with a remarkable k value of approximately 62 at 1 kHz. The thermal stability of the films was affirmed through a rapid thermal annealing treatment at 900°C for 5 s and observation of nondegraded C–V and I–V curves. The electrical performance of the resulting MOS field‐effect transistors (MOSFETs), including a threshold voltage of 0.4 V, an on/off ratio of 106, a saturated mobility of 40.1 cm2 V−1 s−1, and a subthreshold swing of 66.7 mV dec−1, was obtained. Moreover, hole‐ and electron‐trapping measurements through negative and positive gate bias stress instabilities, respectively, indicate the reliable performance of our MOSFETs. Ba[(Ca0.2Mg0.2Zn0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)1/3Nb2/3]O3 and Ba[(Mg0.25Zn0.25Co0.25Ni0.25)1/3Nb2/3]O3 perovskite single‐phase ceramics were synthesized by a solid‐state reaction method, and they were annealed at different temperatures in order to investigate the effect of B′‐site configurational entropy on phase stability, ordered domain structure and microwave dielectric characteristics. By comparing the B′‐site high‐entropy composition with B′‐site medium‐entropy and low‐entropy compositions, the entropy‐dominated phase‐stabilization effect and sluggish diffusion effect were observed in Ba[(Ca0.2Mg0.2Zn0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)1/3Nb2/3]O3. These effects enhanced the temperature stability of the B‐site 1:2 ordered structure. Ba[(Ca0.2Mg0.2Zn0.2Co0.2Ni0.2)1/3Nb2/3]O3 even reached a higher Qf value after annealing above the order‐disorder transition temperature (To‐d). This research examines the anti‐aging potential of the flavonoid derivative of isoquercitrin known as enzymatically modified isoquercitrin (EMIQ). Initial HPLC analyses showed that EMIQ used in the study contained 1–12 glucosides and 10.7% pentahydroxyflavonoids, promising potent antioxidant properties. In subsequent in‐vitro studies with UVA‐exposed human dermal fibroblasts (HDFa), EMIQ demonstrated protective properties by reducing collagen damage. It modulated both the TGFβ/Smad pathway and the MMP1 pathway, contributing to collagen preservation. This protective effect was further confirmed using the T‐Skin™ model, a reconstructed full‐thickness human skin model, which illustrated that EMIQ could defend the physiological structures of both the epidermis and dermis against UV radiation. A 28‐day clinical trial with 30 volunteers aged 31–55 years highlighted EMIQ's effectiveness. Participants using EMIQ‐containing Essence displayed reduced facial trans‐epidermal water loss and skin roughness, alongside improved skin elasticity. This study emphasizes EMIQ's potential as an anti‐photoaging ingredient in cosmetics, warranting further research. T lymphocytes play a central role in immunotherapy, utilizing physical interactions to actively inhibit the development of metastases. However, tumor immune privilege and heterogeneity pose challenges by protecting against immune attacks and limiting immune cell infiltration into tumors, particularly in invasive metastatic clusters. Here, a tumor penetrating magnetic particles (TUP) containing the cascade‐responsive cell membrane‐mimetic copolymer (zwitterionic 2‐methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine‐co‐3‐hydroxypyridin‐4‐one, PH) and cuproptosis molecules (elesclomol‐copper, EsCu) for programming T cell infiltration is developed. The intravenously injected TUP accumulates at the tumor via the charge conversion of PH and hyperthermia effects of TUP. In metastatic clusters, ES and Cu, triggered by intracellular environments and hyperthermia, are readily released. ES and Cu simultaneously induce cuproptosis of cancer cells and stimulate immune responses. This process destroys self‐defense mechanisms and exacerbates cytotoxicity. The therapies facilitate the release of tumor‐associated antigens, including neoantigens and damage‐associated molecular patterns. Following this, the 3‐hydroxypyridin‐4‐one groups on TUP act as antigen reservoirs, transporting autologous tumor‐associated antigens to dendritic cells, thereby inducing prolonged immune activation. TUP acts as an antigen reservoir in copper apoptosis‐mediated lung metastasis, promoting the accumulation of immune cells in metastatic clusters and effectively preventing the progression of metastatic tumors. Physical performance in hemodialysis patients declines and serves as a cardiovascular disease (CVD) incidence and mortality predictor. However, lower extremity function's role remains unclear. This study aimed to quantify the association between lower extremity function and CVD risk in hemodialysis patients. This was a multicenter cross‐sectional study enrolling 868 participants (532 males, 336 females) from seven hemodialysis centers in Shanghai, China. Patients were divided into three groups per lower extremity function, evaluated by short physical performance battery (SPPB) scores: 0–6, 7–9, and 10–12. Upper extremity function was quantified through grip strength assessment. CVD risk was assessed using the Framingham Risk Score. Approximately 35% of hemodialysis patients had impaired lower extremity function (SPPB score < 10). Participants with high SPPB scores had stronger handgrip and lower Framingham CVD risk scores than those with low and moderate SPPB scores (p < 0.05). After adjusting clinical confounders, SPPB was independently associated with CVD risk, as a categorized variable (odds ratio: 0.577, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.388–0.857, p = 0.006) and as a continuous variable (odds ratio: 0.858, 95% CI: 0.772–0.953, p = 0.004). An SPPB score < 10 predicted an increased CVD risk (area under curve: 0.649, 95% CI: 0.599–0.699, p < 0.001). Causality between physical performance and CVD risk was not considered. Some upper limb results may not be generalizable to peritoneal dialysis and kidney transplant patients. Lower extremity function was significantly associated with CVD risk in hemodialysis patients. A copper‐catalyzed [3+2] annulation reaction of exocyclic enamines/enol ethers with 1,4‐benzoquinone esters has been developed, providing facile access to N,O‐spiroketals and spiroketals under mild conditions with broad substrate scope (26 examples, 71–94 % yields). Gram scale synthesis and chemical transformations demonstrated that this method is potentially useful in the synthesis of natural products and drugs containing a N,O‐ spiroketal moiety. Summary The objective of this study was to identify independent prognostic factors of viral encephalitis (VE) after allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo‐HSCT) and establish a prognostic model to identify post‐transplant VE patients with a greater likelihood of mortality. Among 5380 patients in our centre from 2014 to 2022, 211 patients who developed VE after allo‐HSCT were reviewed in this retrospective study. Prognostic factors were selected, and a prognostic model was constructed using Cox regression analysis. The model was subsequently validated and estimated using the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), a calibration plot and decision curve analysis (DCA). Glasgow Coma Scale score <9, lesions >3 lobes on magnetic resonance imaging and severe thrombocytopenia were identified as independent prognostic risk factors for VE patients who underwent allo‐HSCT. The prognostic model GTM (GTM is an abbreviation for a model composed of three risk factors: GCS score <9, severe thrombocytopenia [platelet count <20 000 per microliter], and lesions >3 lobes on MRI) was established according to the regression coefficients. The validated internal AUC was 0.862 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.773–0.950), and the external AUC was 0.815 (95% CI, 0.708–0.922), indicating strong discriminatory ability. Furthermore, we constructed calibration plots that demonstrated good consistency between the predicted outcomes and the observed outcomes. This study was to translate the Pieper–Zulkowski pressure ulcer knowledge test (PZ‐PUKT) into Traditional Chinese and evaluate its psychometric properties as well as identify the predictors of knowledge on pressure injury. The PZ‐PUKT was translated into Traditional Chinese (TC‐PZ‐PUKT), and its content validity was evaluated. A total of 296 nurses participated in this study and completed the 72‐item TC‐PZ‐PUKT online. The reliability of the TC‐PZ‐PUKT was analysed by evaluating its internal consistency and test–retest reliability. Hierarchical regression was used to determine factors associated with TC‐PZ‐PUKT scores. Content validity was achieved with a score of 0.986. Internal consistency was observed to be reliable, with a Cronbach's alpha of 0.858. The mean knowledge score on the TC‐PZ‐PUKT was 72.5%, with a 1‐week test–retest reliability of r = 0.849. Education level, certification as a wound specialist and self‐learning through reading articles, books or guidelines on pressure injury were significantly associated with TC‐PZ‐PUKT scores. Intrinsic silicon (Si) is forbidden for infrared (IR) sensing at the communication wavelength like 1.31 or 1.55 µm due to the well‐known bandgap limitation. In this work, an unexpected physical picture of using argon (Ar) is identified, which is usually inert to the surrounding chemical environment and used as a protective agent in semiconductor processing, to overcome the IR‐sensing‐forbidden problem in Si. Here, it is shown by an analysis of a dynamic secondary ion mass spectrometer that such a Si, when exposed to laser pulse in Ar gas, can contain a very high dose of Ar up to 1020 cm−3 even after 1300 days. First‐principles calculations, molecular dynamics, and Hall effect measurements reveal that, due to both steric and dynamic repulsions by Ar orbitals to Si dangling bonds, the Ar‐filled‐vacancy produces a much wider defect band inside the gap, which is not only responsible for strong infrared absorption, but also causes a significant increase in n‐type conductivity, both in line with experiments. The study proves that originally inert elements in fact can act as active impurities in semiconductors for advanced applications, which updates the current knowledge of defect physics. Perovskite interfaces where defects enrich are pivotal for both device efficiency and stability. Herein, a high‐molecular‐weight polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP) is proposed as a robust multi‐functional interlayer to engineer the buried interface. Besides the well‐known defect passivation, perovskite crystallization is intriguingly modulated via the formation of hydrogen‐bond‐based polymer‐ammonium intermediates (e.g., PVP‐FA+ or PVP‐MA+, where MA and FA are methylamine and formamidine, respectively). The interaction energies derived from density functional theory calculations (−34.5, −26.8, and −9.9 kcal mol−1 for PVP‐FA+, PVP‐MA+, and PVP‐Pb2+) suggest that PVP predominately interacts with ammonium cations to form the intermediates, thus largely excluding other chemical interactions and retarding the perovskite crystallization. As such, the hydrophilic PVP interlayer leads to spontaneous perovskite spreading yet a counterintuitively similar nucleation density with respect to the hydrophobic poly[bis(4‐phenyl)(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)amine] (PTAA), a change of preferred crystal orientation, improved crystallinity, and remarkably suppressed non‐radiative recombination. The traditional batch synthesis of liquid rubber faces issues such as low monomer polymerization concentration, poor uniformity of the reaction system, and inadequate heat dissipation, resulting in an unsatisfactory synthesis efficiency. This study presents a method for the rapid and efficient synthesis of high vinyl 1,2‐polybutadiene liquid rubber using butadiene as the monomer and n‐butyllithium as the initiator. By applying continuous flow microchannel reactors, the limitation of traditional synthesis method can be overcome. The addition of a modifier in the raw material promotes the formation of high vinyl structure. The preparation of liquid rubber requires the addition of a large amount of metal lithium initiator. However, for aerospace sealants, there is a requirement for low metal ion content. To address this, we employed different methods to reduce the metal ion content in the liquid rubber and increase its purity. Ultimately, we achieved the synthesis of high‐purity polybutadiene liquid rubber with 1,2‐vinyl content exceeding 88%, narrow molecular weight distribution, and tunable molecular weights. Producing recognizable words is a difficult motor task; a one‐syllable word can require the coordination of over 80 muscles. Thus, it is not surprising that the development of word productions in infancy lags considerably behind receptive language and is a known limiting factor in language development. A large literature has focused on the vocal apparatus, its articulators, and language development. There has been limited study of the relations between non‐speech motor skills and the quality of early speech productions. Here we present evidence that the spontaneous vocalizations of 9‐ to 24‐month‐old infants recruit extraneous, synergistic co‐activations of hand and head movements and that the temporal precision of the co‐activation of vocal and extraneous muscle groups tightens with age and improved recognizability of speech. These results implicate an interaction between the muscle groups that produce speech and other body movements and provide new empirical pathways for understanding the role of motor development in language acquisition. Background: CaIMR is proposed as a novel angiographic index designed to assess microcirculation without the need for pressure wires or hyperemic agents. We aimed to investigate the impact of caIMR on predicting clinical outcomes in STEMI patients. Methods: One hundred and forty patients with STEMI who received PCI in Putuo Hospital of Shanghai from October 2021 to September 2022 were categorized into CMD and non–CMD groups according to the caIMR value. The baseline information, patient‐related examinations, and the occurrence of MACE at the 12‐month follow‐up were collected to investigate risk factors in patients with STEMI. Results: We divided 140 patients with STEMI enrolled into two groups according to caIMR results, including 61 patients diagnosed with CMD and 79 patients diagnosed with non–CMD. A total of 21 MACE occurred during the 1 year of follow‐up. Compared with non–CMD group, patients with CMD showed a significantly higher risk of MACE. A multivariate Cox regression model was conducted for the patients, and it was found thatcaIMR was a significant predictor of prognosis in STEMI patients (HR: 8.921). Patients with CMD were divided into culprit vascular CMD and non‐culprit vascular CMD, and the result found that culprit vascular CMD was associated with the incidence of MACE (OR: 4.75) and heart failure (OR: 7.50). Conclusion: CaIMR is a strong predictor of clinical outcomes and can provide an objective risk stratification for patients with STEMI. Renal angiomyolipoma has two histological variants: classical and epithelioid. Epithelioid angiomyolipoma is considered as a potential malignant tumor, often leading to recurrence and metastasis, with rapid progression in most of the cases. The lung is one of the most commonly reported sites of metastasis, and pulmonary metastasis of renal angiomyolipoma is usually diagnostic by computed tomography (CT) scans. Aim: To evaluate real‐world abatacept retention and clinical outcomes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis in Taiwan. Methods: This prospective, observational study enrolled patients with rheumatoid arthritis aged ≥20 years who received abatacept in real‐world practice. The primary endpoint was the abatacept retention rate at 24 months. Patients were categorized into subgroups based on abatacept treatment status and previous biological disease‐modifying antirheumatic drug (bDMARD) therapy. Risk factors affecting abatacept retention were determined by regression analysis. Results: A total of 212 patients were enrolled. The overall abatacept retention rate at 24 months among all patients was 59.9% (95% confidence interval 53.0%–66.6%). Patients who were ongoing users of abatacept and bDMARD‐naïve had the highest retention rate (76.3%); of these, 31.6% achieved low disease activity or remission after 2 years. Previous treatment with bDMARDs was associated with an increased risk of abatacept discontinuation (hazard ratio 1.99; p =.002). The most common reasons for abatacept discontinuation were drug switch (11.3%) and loss to follow‐up (6.1%). Abatacept was well‐tolerated with no new safety signals. Conclusion: The 24‐month retention rate of abatacept was 59.9%; abatacept was associated with improved clinical outcomes and was well‐tolerated in the real‐world setting in Taiwan. Materials that can emit light under optical/mechanical stimulation are usually called photoluminescent/mechanoluminescent (PL/ML) materials. PL materials are used in diverse fields for half a century. While, ML materials have burst out in the last two decades, and now are showing great application potential in the fields of anti‐counterfeiting, information storage, and stress imaging. It is of great significance to explore new luminescent materials with PL and ML dual response. In this study, Tb3+‐doped Ca3Ga4O9 phosphors with color‐tunable PL and non‐pre‐irradiation ML properties are reported. Ca3Ga4O9 exhibits a broadband blue emission centering at 425 nm, which originates from the 4T2‐4A2 transition of electrons in d orbits of Ga3+. Due to the energy transfer from host to Tb3+, color‐tunable emission from blue to cyan, and ultimately to green can be realized by increasing the concentration of Tb3+. Particularly, ML is seen from Ca3Ga4O9:Tb3+ under grinding and from the Ca3Ga4O9:Tb3+/PDMS film under bending or stretching originated from the triboelectric mechanism. The non‐pre‐irradiation ML behavior is evidenced by the contrast thermoluminescence (TL) experiments. The presence of alkene moieties in fatty acids of (phospho)lipids and cholesterol derivatives makes them highly susceptible to damage by nitrate radicals (NO3⋅), potentially formed through simultaneous exposure to the environmental air pollutants nitrogen dioxide (NO2⋅) and ozone (O3). Absolute rate coefficients derived from reactions with simplified model systems range from 4 to 8×109 M−1 s−1 in acetonitrile, ranking among the highest determined for NO3⋅ reactions with biomolecules in solution to date. Alkenes featuring an electron‐withdrawing carbonyl substituent also display notable reactivity with k values of (2.5±1.0)×108 M−1 s−1. Calculations suggest that these reactions are initiated by oxidative electron transfer (ET) involving the C=C bond, followed by recombination of the resulting alkene radical cation with nitrate anion (NO3−) to form the nitrate adduct radical as the kinetically controlled product. Conversely, saturated fatty acid derivatives and cholestanol react with NO3⋅ through hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) with rate coefficients of 106–107 M−1 s−1, indicating that biomolecules with a considerable number of non‐ or moderately activated sp3 C−H bonds are also highly susceptible to NO3⋅ attack. Intravenous thrombolysis with recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rtPA) is the primary treatment for ischemic stroke. However, rtPA treatment can substantially increase blood‐brain barrier (BBB) permeability and susceptibility to hemorrhagic transformation. Herein, the mechanism underlying the side effects of rtPA treatment is investigated and demonstrated that ferroptosis plays an important role. The ferroptosis inhibitor, liproxstatin‐1 (Lip) is proposed to alleviate the side effects. A well‐designed macrocyclic carrier, glucose‐modified azocalix[4]arene (GluAC4A), is prepared to deliver Lip to the ischemic site. GluAC4A bound tightly to Lip and markedly improved its solubility. Glucose, modified at the upper rim of GluAC4A, imparts BBB targeting to the drug delivery system owing to the presence of glucose transporter 1 on the BBB surface. The responsiveness of GluAC4A to hypoxia due to the presence of azo groups enabled the targeted release of Lip at the ischemic site. GluAC4A successfully improved drug accumulation in the brain, and Lip@GluAC4A significantly reduced ferroptosis, BBB leakage, and neurological deficits induced by rtPA in vivo. These findings deepen the understanding of the side effects of rtPA treatment and provide a novel strategy for their effective mitigation, which is of great significance for the treatment and prognosis of patients with ischemic stroke. Herein, we present catalyst‐regulated switchable site‐selective hydrosilylation of enynes, which are suitable for a wide range of alkyl and aryl substituted polar enynes and exhibit excellent functional group compatibility. Under the optimized conditions, silyl groups can be precisely installed at various positions of 1,3‐dienes. While α‐ and γ‐silylation products were obtained under platinum‐catalytic systems, β‐silylation products were delivered with [Cp*RuCl]4 as catalyst. Aim: Large language models (LLMs) have been suggested to play a role in medical education and medical practice. However, the potential of their application in the psychiatric domain has not been well‐studied. Method: In the first step, we compared the performance of ChatGPT GPT‐4, Bard, and Llama‐2 in the 2022 Taiwan Psychiatric Licensing Examination conducted in traditional Mandarin. In the second step, we compared the scores of these three LLMs with those of 24 experienced psychiatrists in 10 advanced clinical scenario questions designed for psychiatric differential diagnosis. Result: Only GPT‐4 passed the 2022 Taiwan Psychiatric Licensing Examination (scoring 69 and ≥ 60 being considered a passing grade), while Bard scored 36 and Llama‐2 scored 25. GPT‐4 outperformed Bard and Llama‐2, especially in the areas of 'Pathophysiology & Epidemiology' (χ2 = 22.4, P < 0.001) and 'Psychopharmacology & Other therapies' (χ2 = 15.8, P < 0.001). In the differential diagnosis, the mean score of the 24 experienced psychiatrists (mean 6.1, standard deviation 1.9) was higher than that of GPT‐4 (5), Bard (3), and Llama‐2 (1). Conclusion: Compared to Bard and Llama‐2, GPT‐4 demonstrated superior abilities in identifying psychiatric symptoms and making clinical judgments. Besides, GPT‐4's ability for differential diagnosis closely approached that of the experienced psychiatrists. Background: Reportedly, the stress–hyperglycemia ratio (SHR) is closely associated with poor prognosis in patients with severe acute disease. However, the community‐dwelling may also be in a state of stress due to environmental exposure. Our study aimed to explore the association between SHR and all‐cause mortality in the community‐dwelling population. Methods: A total of 18 480 participants were included out of 82 091 from the NHANES 1999–2014 survey. The Kaplan–Meier survival analyses were used to assess the disparities in survival rates based on SHR, and the log‐rank test was employed to investigate the distinctions between groups. The multivariate Cox regression analysis and restricted cubic spline (RCS) analysis were performed to assess the association of SHR with all‐cause mortality. A subgroup analysis was also conducted. Results: A total of 3188 deaths occurred during a median follow‐up period of 11.0 (7.7; 15.4) years. The highest risk for all‐cause mortality was observed when SHR≤ 0.843 or SHR ≥0.986 (log‐rank p <.001). After adjusting for the confounding factors, compared with subjects in the second SHR quartile (Q2), participants in the highest (Q4, adjusted hazard ratio [HR] 1.49, 95% confidence interval [CI] 1.28–1.73) and lowest quartiles (Q1, adjusted HR 1.37, 95% CI 1.16–1.60) have a higher probability of all‐cause death. The RCS observed a dose‐response U‐shaped association between SHR and all‐cause mortality. The U‐shaped association between SHR and all‐cause mortality was similar across subgroup analysis. Background: Sporadic parathyroid adenoma (PA) is the most common cause of hyperparathyroidism, yet the mechanisms involved in its pathogenesis remain incompletely understood. Methods: Surgically removed PA samples, along with normal parathyroid gland (PG) tissues that were incidentally dissected during total thyroidectomy, were analysed using single‐cell RNA‐sequencing with the 10× Genomics Chromium Droplet platform and Cell Ranger software. Gene set variation analysis was conducted to characterise hallmark pathway gene signatures, and single‐cell regulatory network inference and clustering were utilised to analyse transcription factor regulons. Immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence were performed to validate cellular components of PA tissues. siRNA knockdown and gene overexpression, alongside quantitative polymerase chain reaction, Western blotting and cell proliferation assays, were conducted for functional investigations. Results: There was a pervasive increase in gene transcription in PA cells (PACs) compared with PG cells. This is associated with high expression of histone‐lysine N‐methyltransferase 2A (KMT2A). High KMT2A levels potentially contribute to promoting PAC proliferation through upregulation of the proto‐oncogene CCND2, which is mediated by the transcription factors signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) and GATA binding protein 3 (GATA3). PA tissues are heavily infiltrated with myeloid cells, while fibroblasts, endothelial cells and macrophages in PA tissues are commonly enriched with proinflammatory gene signatures relative to their counterparts in PG tissues. Conclusions: We revealed the previously underappreciated involvement of the KMT2A‒STAT3/GATA3‒CCND2 axis and chronic inflammation in the pathogenesis of PA. These findings underscore the therapeutic promise of KMT2A inhibition and anti‐inflammatory strategies, highlighting the need for future investigations to translate these molecular insights into practical applications. Engineering Yarrowia lipolytica to produce astaxanthin provides a promising route. Here, Y. lipolytica M2 producing a titer of 181 mg/L astaxanthin was isolated by iterative atmospheric and room‐temperature plasma mutagenesis and diphenylamine‐mediated screening. Interestingly, a negative correlation was observed between cell biomass and astaxanthin production. To reveal the underlying mechanism, RNA‐seq analysis of transcriptional changes was performed in high producer M2 and reference strain M1, and a total of 1379 differentially expressed genes were obtained. Data analysis revealed that carbon flux was elevated through lipid metabolism, acetyl‐CoA and mevalonate supply, but restrained through central carbon metabolism in strain M2. Moreover, upregulation of other pathways such as ATP‐binding cassette transporter and thiamine pyrophosphate possibly provided more cofactors for carotenoid hydroxylase and relieved cell membrane stress caused by astaxanthin insertion. These results suggest that balancing cell growth and astaxanthin production may be important to promote efficient biosynthesis of astaxanthin in Y. lipolytica. The chemical etching method has the advantages of high precision and low cost for the preparation of steel surface microchannel, but the composition of the etching solution and the etching process have a great influence on the precision of the microstructure. In this article, the influence of etching solution composition and the etching time on the etching precision of stainless steel using a mixture of HCl and H2O2 as an etching solution is studied. The reactions and passivation processes that occur during the etching process are analyzed. The etching mechanism is revealed. The sample prepared with HCl:H2O2 = 1:2 can obtain better etching precision and high-dimensional stability. The amount of lateral erosion and the depth of etching increases with the increase of etching time, resulting in a decrease in the etching factor and precision. Pitting and intergranular corrosion mainly occur during the etching process, and the loss of metal chloride formed in the process forms holes, which become rapid diffusion channels for corrosive Cl and O elements, and promotes the etching process. Solid‐state batteries (SSBs) are regarded as the most promising next‐generation energy storage devices due to their potential to achieve higher safety performance and energy density. However, the troubles in the preparation of ultrathin solid‐state electrolytes (SEs) as well as the resultant compromise in mechanical strength greatly limit the safety application of SSBs. Herein, a novel in situ polymerized integrated ultrathin SE/cathode design is developed. The ultrathin ceramic layer supported on the cathode serves not only as a rigid scaffold to prevent direct contact between the cathode and anode but also as active inorganic fillers to enhance the mechanical properties of in situ polymerized SE film. The unique Li‐ion coordination environments as well as the Li hopping mechanism profoundly promote fast ion transport in composite SEs. The in situ polymerized SEs simultaneously achieve the balance in ultrathin thickness (10 µm), fast ion transport (0.65 mS cm−1), superior Young's modulus (66.8 GPa), and excellent interface contact. The pouch cells with practical Li||LiNi0.8Co0.1Mn0.1O2 configuration achieve an ultrahigh volumetric energy density of 1018 Wh L−1 and safety performance. This article discusses a case report of a 56-year-old female with pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) secondary to synovitis, acne, pustulosis, hyperostosis, osteitis (SAPHO) syndrome. The patient had a history of joint pain and skin symptoms associated with SAPHO syndrome, and her PAH symptoms worsened over time. After treatment with a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor, the patient experienced improvement in her joint pain and shortness of breath. This case highlights the importance of considering PAH as a potential complication of SAPHO syndrome and suggests that JAK inhibitors may be effective in treating this condition. Combining epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) with an anti‐ vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) agent, bevacizumab or ramucirumab, is indicated for advanced lung adenocarcinoma harboring EGFR mutation. This study aimed to show the real‐world data of combination therapy and compare the effectiveness between bevacizumab and ramucirumab in combination with an EGFR‐TKI. This retrospective study enrolled 47 patients diagnosed of stage IV lung adenocarcinoma with exon 19 deletion or L858R point mutation, receiving a first‐line EGFR‐TKI with anti‐VEGF agent, including 34 (72%) and 13 (28%) patients receiving bevacizumab and ramucirumab, respectively. The response rate was similar in both groups (p = 0.38). Patients receiving bevacizumab had similar progression free survival (PFS) as those receiving ramucirumab (median PFS: 21.9 vs. 24.2 months, p = 0.4871); similar finding was noted in overall survival (OS) (median OS: 33.5 months vs. not reached, p = 0.4618). Patients receiving ramucirumab experienced a significantly high‐grade hypertension compared to those receiving bevacizumab (p = 0.0351). Multivariable Cox regression analysis found independent risk factors for worse PFS included poorer ECOG performance status, multiple (≥3) metastatic sites, brain metastasis, and pleural metastasis/effusion, while the type of anti‐VEGF agent was not a risk factor. Pericardial metastasis/effusion was the only one independent risk factor for worse OS. In summary, ramucirumab may have similar effectiveness as bevacizumab in combination with an EGFR‐TKI as first line therapy for advanced lung adenocarcinoma harboring susceptible EGFR mutation. Soft photonic liquid crystals with electrically responsive properties are among the most promising intelligent materials for optoelectronic applications. This work demonstrates an ultra-fast electrically tunable dual-mode laser by introducing dye-doped chiral liquid crystals. Due to the strong chirality of the chiral liquid crystal, two self-assembled structures form depending on the temperatures. One is the chiral nematic phase (N*) with a 1D helical structure; the other is the blue phases (BPs) with 3D cubic structures. By tuning the strength of an electric field, the dye-doped chiral liquid crystals are operated in two different modes: a band-edge laser and a random laser. In the band-edge mode, due to the electrostriction effect of the BPs, the electric-tuning range of the laser emission is from 537 to 645 nm, and the switching times are less than 20 ms. When the electric field goes beyond a threshold value to force the occurrence of the BPs-chiral-nematic transition, the band-edge laser with elliptical polarization emission is switched to a random laser with an immediate unpolarization emission (0.9 ms). Furthermore, the reversibility of the effects mentioned above points out the potential applications of self-assembled soft photonic materials, spanning from solid-state lighting to bio-imaging. Singlet fission (SF) holds great promise for current photovoltaic technologies, where tetracenes, with their relatively high triplet energies, play a major role for application in silicon‐based solar cells. However, the SF efficiencies in tetracene dimers are low due to the unfavorable energetics of their singlet and triplet energy levels. In the solid state, tetracene exhibits high yields of triplet formation through SF, raising great interest about the underlying mechanisms. To address this discrepancy, we designed and prepared a novel molecular system based on a hexaphenylbenzene core decorated with 2 to 6 tetracene chromophores. The spatial arrangement of tetracene units, induced by steric hindrance in the central part, dictates through‐space coupling, making it a relevant model for solid‐state chromophore organization. We then revealed a remarkable increase in SF quantum yield with the number of tetracenes, reaching quantitative (196 %) triplet pair formation in hexamer. We observed a short‐lived correlated triplet pair and limited magnetic effects, indicating ineffective triplet dissociation in these through‐space coupled systems. These findings emphasize the crucial role of the number of chromophores involved and the interchromophore arrangement for the SF efficiency. INTRODUCTION: Clinical understanding of primary progressive aphasia (PPA) has been primarily derived from Indo‐European languages. Generalizing certain linguistic findings across languages is unfitting due to contrasting linguistic structures. While PPA patients showed noun classes impairments, Chinese languages lack noun classes. Instead, Chinese languages are classifier language, and how PPA patients manipulate classifiers is unknown. METHODS: We included 74 native Chinese speakers (22 controls, 52 PPA). For classifier production task, participants were asked to produce the classifiers of high‐frequency items. In a classifier recognition task, participants were asked to choose the correct classifier. RESULTS: Both semantic variant (sv) PPA and logopenic variant (lv) PPA scored significantly lower in classifier production task. In classifier recognition task, lvPPA patients outperformed svPPA patients. The classifier production scores were correlated to cortical volume over left temporal and visual association cortices. DISCUSSION: This study highlights noun classifiers as linguistic markers to discriminate PPA syndromes in Chinese speakers. Highlights: Noun classifier processing varies in the different primary progressive aphasia (PPA) variants. Specifically, semantic variant PPA (svPPA) and logopenic variant PPA (lvPPA) patients showed significantly lower ability in producing specific classifiers. Compared to lvPPA, svPPA patients were less able to choose the accurate classifiers when presented with choices.In svPPA, classifier production score was positively correlated with gray matter volume over bilateral temporal and left visual association cortices in svPPA. Conversely, classifier production performance was correlated with volumetric changes over left ventral temporal and bilateral frontal regions in lvPPA.Comparable performance of mass and count classifier were noted in Chinese PPA patients, suggesting a common cognitive process between mass and count classifiers in Chinese languages. Background & Aims: Recently, the association between hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and ferroptosis has been the focus of much attention. The expression of long chain fatty acyl‐CoA ligase 4 (ACSL4), a marker of ferroptosis, in tumour tissue is related to better prognosis in various cancers. In HCC, ACSL4 expression indicates poor prognosis and is related to high malignancy. However, the mechanism remains to be fully understood. Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 358 patients with HCC who had undergone hepatic resection. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) for ACSL4 was performed. Factors associated with ASCL4 expression were investigated by spatial transcriptome analysis, and the relationships were investigated by IHC. The association between ACSL4 and the tumour immune microenvironment was examined in a public dataset and investigated by IHC. Results: Patients were divided into ACSL4‐positive (n = 72, 20.1%) and ACSL4‐negative (n = 286, 79.9%) groups. ACSL4 positivity was significantly correlated with higher α‐fetoprotein (p =.0180) and more histological liver fibrosis (p =.0014). In multivariate analysis, ACSL4 positivity was an independent prognostic factor (p <.0001). Spatial transcriptome analysis showed a positive correlation between ACSL4 and cancer‐associated fibroblasts; this relationship was confirmed by IHC. Evaluation of a public dataset showed the correlation between ACSL4 and exhausted tumour immune microenvironment; this relationship was also confirmed by IHC. Background and Aims: Besides hospital size, clinical diagnosis and severity of patient cases determine the total platelet usage. Therefore, the appropriateness of platelet usage could not be compared simply with the total units of platelet usage in each hospital. This study aimed to objectively monitor and analyze platelet usage after implementing a single‐unit issuing policy for each platelet transfusion in our hospital in October 2020. Materials and Methods: We used three objective indices, X, Y, and Z, to monitor platelet usage and compared it with other hospitals. Three indices were generated by dividing the annual total units of platelet usage by the total annual reimbursement, total number of admissions, and average total reimbursement per admission for each hospital. Results: The new indices X and Y alleviated hospital size–dependent differences. Index Y was preferred over X because its value fluctuated less during the COVID‐19 pandemic. The Z index was adjusted for the average total reimbursement per admission, and the results showed that more patients with higher disease complexity did not have increased platelet usage during the COVID‐19 pandemic. In our hospital (H1), index Z decreased from 2019 to 2021 due to a policy of issuing a single unit for each platelet transfusion. Conclusion: These three objective indices are suitable for peer comparison and monitoring platelet usage in hospitals, irrespective of their size. They could be applied to promote patient blood management and provide an early response to the gradual shortage of blood resources owing to the aging population and declining birth rate in Taiwan. Accurately forecasting the nonlinear degradation of lithium‐ion batteries (LIBs) using early‐cycle data can obviously shorten the battery test time, which accelerates battery optimization and production. In this work, a self‐adaptive long short‐term memory (SA‐LSTM) method has been proposed to predict the battery degradation trajectory and battery lifespan with only early cycling data. Specifically, two features were extracted from discharge voltage curves by a time‐series‐based approach and forecasted to further cycles using SA‐LSTM model. The as‐obtained features were correlated with the capacity to predict the capacity degradation trajectory by generalized multiple linear regression model. The proposed method achieved an average online prediction error of 6.00% and 6.74% for discharge capacity and end of life, respectively, when using the early‐cycle discharge information until 90% capacity retention. Furthermore, the importance of temperature control was highlighted by correlating the features with the average temperature in each cycle. This work develops a self‐adaptive data‐driven method to accurately predict the cycling life of LIBs, and unveils the underlying degradation mechanism and the importance of controlling environmental temperature. Effective screening and early detection are critical to improve the prognosis of gastric cancer (GC). Our study aims to explore noninvasive multianalytical biomarkers and construct integrative models for preliminary risk assessment and GC detection. Whole genomewide methylation marker discovery was conducted with CpG tandems target amplification (CTTA) in cfDNA from large asymptomatic screening participants in a high‐risk area of GC. The methylation and mutation candidates were validated simultaneously using one plasma from patients at various gastric lesion stages by multiplex profiling with Mutation Capsule Plus (MCP). Helicobacter pylori specific antibodies were detected with a recomLine assay. Integrated models were constructed and validated by the combination of multianalytical biomarkers. A total of 146 and 120 novel methylation markers were found in CpG islands and promoter regions across the genome with CTTA. The methylation markers together with the candidate mutations were validated with MCP and used to establish a 133‐methylation‐marker panel for risk assessment of suspicious precancerous lesions and GC cases and a 49‐methylation‐marker panel as well as a 144‐amplicon‐mutation panel for GC detection. An integrated model comprising both methylation and specific antibody panels performed better for risk assessment than a traditional model (AUC, 0.83 and 0.63, P <.001). A second model for GC detection integrating methylation and mutation panels also outperformed the traditional model (AUC, 0.82 and 0.68, P =.005). Our study established methylation, mutation and H. pylori‐specific antibody panels and constructed two integrated models for risk assessment and GC screening. Traditionally, the exogenous control of gaze by external saliencies and the endogenous control of gaze by knowledge and context have been viewed as competing systems, with late infancy seen as a period of strengthening top‐down control over the vagaries of the input. Here we found that one‐year‐old infants control sustained attention through head movements that increase the visibility of the attended object. Freely moving one‐year‐old infants (n = 45) wore head‐mounted eye trackers and head motion sensors while exploring sets of toys of the same physical size. The visual size of the objects, a well‐documented salience, varied naturally with the infant's moment‐to‐moment posture and head movements. Sustained attention to an object was characterized by the tight control of head movements that created and then stabilized a visual size advantage for the attended object for sustained attention. Purpose: Previous studies have suggested that presbycusis (age‐related hearing loss) is accompanied with cognitive decline and dementia. However, the neural mechanism underlying the cognitive decline in presbycusis remains unclear. This study aimed to evaluate the glymphatic system function in presbycusis patients compared to healthy controls using diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) with the perivascular space (DTI‐ALPS) method. Methods: DTI scans were obtained from 30 presbycusis patients with cognitive decline (PCD), 30 presbycusis patients with no cognitive decline (PNCD) and 40 age‐, gender‐, and education‐matched healthy controls (HCs). The DTI‐ALPS index was calculated for each group. We evaluated the differences in the DTI‐ALPS index among PCD, PNCD and HCs. In addition, we conducted a correlation analysis between the DTI‐ALPS index and cognitive performance. Results: There were significant differences of the DTI‐ALPS index among three groups. Post‐hoc analysis suggested that the DTI‐ALPS index in PCD was significantly lower patients in relative to PNCD and HCs (1.49147 vs. 1.57441 vs. 1.62020, p < 0.001). After correcting for age, gender, and education, the DTI‐ALPS index is positively correlated with the MoCA scores (rho = 0.426, p = 0.026). Conclusion: Presbycusis patients with cognitive impairment exhibited decreased glymphatic activity than those without cognitive impairment and HCs. The DTI‐ALPS index may provide useful disease progression or treatment biomarkers for patients with presbycusis as an indicator of modulation of glymphatic activity. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
