Women's safety is an essential and decisive issue in today's world. In these modern times, where technology has advanced a lot, women safety is still a matter of concern. In academic organizations, education for girls/women has become a hurdle. Education is a powerful weapon to end poverty and traditional rituals. Campuses of educational institutions have been highly affected directly or indirectly by various types of violence. Safety is a considerable factor for parents when choosing the campus for their children. Thus, it becomes the responsibility of the campus administration to provide a safe and secure environment. The paper highlights various research papers in the context of women's safety, campus safety, and women awareness. The Intelligent Women Safety App has been proposed with features like Authenticity by user and guard, Real‐Time Location of user and guard, Geo‐fencing technique, SOS facilities for the user. With the use of this app, the campus administration will attempt to provide a safe and secure environment especially for girls in the campus. Abstract Objectives To understand the factors associated with a post-menopausal woman deciding to take hormone replacement therapy (HRT) after reviewing a decision aid (DA) and having a counselling visit with her physician as well as the factors associated with the act of taking HRT 2 months after the counselling interview. Design A secondary analysis of data collected for a randomized controlled trial evaluating two DAs. Main outcome results Although 28% of women were uncertain regarding their decision after the counselling interview, only 2.4% of women, at the assessment at 2 months, had not made a decision. The most significant factor associated with the decision to take HRT, after the physician visit, was the physician preference (OR: 62, 95% CI: 13.3, 289.7). Physician preference (OR: 78, 95% CI: 6.2, 975) remained the most significant factor for taking HRT 2 months after the counselling interview followed by low uncertainty about the decision (OR: 0.4, 95% CI: 0.2, 0.7). Conclusion Physician preference was the factor that was most associated with the woman's decision following counselling and 2 months later. Qualitative evaluation of the interview process involving the patient and physician would determine whether the patient and physician are reaching a shared decision or is the physician preference influencing the patient. There were 7,770 applicants to the entering dental school class of 2000. This is almost 14 percent less than the number of applicants to the entering class of 1999. Since the peak of dental school applicants in 1997 (at 9,829), the number has declined 21 percent. (This is most similar to the decline that has occurred in medical school applicants since their peak of applicants in 1996, at 46,968.) Almost 55 percent of the applicants to dental school were enrolled in 2000. Dental schools reported 4,234 first-time, first-year enrollees in 2000. This is an increase of 25 enrollees over the number reported in 1999. Since 1989, when dental school enrollment once again began to increase, total first-year dental school enrollment has increased 8.7 percent. The number of applicants per first-time, first-year position was 1.84 in 2000. It was 2.14 in 1999. (The most recent low was 1.34 in 1989.) The GPA and DAT scores of the first-time, first-year enrollees in 2000 were all either equal to or slightly higher than they were in 1999. Women were approximately 40 percent of the applicants and first-time, first-year enrollees in 2000, up slightly from 1999. Underrepresented minorities comprised slightly over 12 percent of the applicants and 10.6 percent of the first-time, first-year enrollees, also up slightly from 1999.

The increasing proportion of female students in Australian medical school warrants an appraisal of the particular factors which may influence their success in their undergraduate and post-graduate careers. Past shortages of medical manpower are giving way to a projected over-abundance of doctors in the near future. New South Wales has three medical schools, and in 1979 women constituted a significant percentage of the total number of students entering the first year. In the Newcastle school that percentage has exceeded 50. Because the majority of women combine their careers with child-bearing and child-raising, they face special problems in medical shcool and beyond. The fulfilment of dual roles frequently creates significant conflicts for women, but there are signs that women are gradually overcoming such conflicts. In fact, some male students are now beginning to question their tradition of full-time commitment to a stressful profession with little free time left for their families or other interests. To make the best use of medical manpower, planning towards more flexible training schemes and more innovative roles in medical practice is essential. Women in particular can help one another by co-operation and imaginative planning.
