The utilization of green hydrogen sources in H2O for alkynols electrocatalytic semihydrogenation reaction (ESHR) at ambient temperature provides a promising pathway toward the sustainable conversion of alkynols. However, it is still a great challenge to construct specific interfacial structure to adjust the electronic structure of Pd for the purpose of altering the strong adsorption of Pd with active hydrogen to enhance the production of alkenols. Here, the atomically dispersed GaOx‐PdMo bimetallene nanoribbons (GaOx‐PdMo BNRs) via oxygen bridging Ga atoms is designed to the surface of PdMo BNRs for 2‐methyl‐3‐butyn‐2‐ol (MBY) ESHR to the synthesis of 2‐methyl‐3‐buten‐2‐ol (MBE). The GaOx‐PdMo BNRs achieve the excellent MBE selectivity (≈97.4%), Faraday efficiency (≈96.1%), and maintain long‐term stability. Density functional theory demonstrates that the top electron‐enriched Ga atoms and the bottom electron‐deficient Pd atoms construct a "pyramidal" interface via the oxygen bridge. The unique surface can effectively activate H2O and weaken interaction between catalyst and MBE, thus promoting MBE generation. Moreover, the electron bridge effect between Ga‐O‐PdMo can induce p‐d orbital hybridization to achieve lower the d‐band center of surface Pd thus modulating the reactants adsorption. This study aimed to investigate the effects of an 8‐week lat pull‐down resistance training program with joint instability on pull‐up performance in male college students. Thirty‐four healthy recreationally active male college students were randomly assigned to either the joint instability resistance training (IRT) or traditional resistance training (TRT) group. Participants of the TRT and IRT groups performed lat pull‐down training on stable and joint instability conditions for 8 weeks, respectively. Pull‐up endurance (number of repetitions), anthropometry, lat pull‐down maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) peak force, and movement stability of performing unstable lat pull‐down were tested before and after the 8‐week training. Surface electromyography of biceps brachii (BB), triceps brachii (TB), brachioradialis (BR), anterior deltoid (AD), middle deltoid (MD), posterior deltoid (PD), pectoralis major (PM), and latissimus dorsi (LD) muscles were recorded during the pull‐up endurance test. The level of significance is set at p ≤ 0.05. The results demonstrated that the pull‐up endurance and lat pull‐down MVIC peak force of both IRT and TRT groups were significantly enhanced after 8‐week training compared to the pre‐training test. Notably, the number of pull‐up repetitions of the IRT group was 45.5% higher than the TRT group. These findings suggest that lat pull‐down training performed with joint instability may lead to greater improvements in pull‐up endurance compared to the stable condition, possibly attributed to enhanced muscle contraction efficiency as indicated by decreased antagonist coactivation activity. This study aims to explore the influence of direct foaming methods on the early‐stage performance and microstructure of metakaolin‐based geopolymer foam. Metakaolin is utilized as the primary silica–aluminum raw material, with various foaming methods employed to produce metakaolin‐based foam geopolymers exhibiting different dry apparent density gradients. The investigation encompasses an assessment of hardening time, early‐stage compressive strength development, and water absorption behavior of the foam geopolymers. Employing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) for microscopic morphology analysis, mercury intrusion porosimetry (MIP), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), and hot disk transient plane source method for chemical structure analysis, the study delves into the underlying mechanisms. Results reveal that the early compressive strength development of metakaolin‐based foam geopolymer is notably rapid, with the hydrogen peroxide foaming method demonstrating the swiftest performance. Among foam geopolymers of equivalent density levels, those produced via physical foaming exhibit the highest compressive strength, while those utilizing silicon carbide foaming display the lowest. Across different foaming methods, the foam geopolymer consistently demonstrates specific trends in pore structure characteristics, with a predominance of macropores in the low‐density range and gel nanopores in the high‐density range. The study of in situ conformations and interactions of mitochondrial proteins plays a crucial role in understanding their biological functions. Current chemical cross‐linking mass spectrometry (CX‐MS) has difficulty in achieving in‐depth analysis of mitochondrial proteins for cells without genetic modification. Herein, this work develops the reactive oxygen species (ROS)‐responsive cross‐linker delivery nanoparticles (R‐CDNP) targeting mitochondria. R‐CDNP contains mitochondria‐targeting module triphenylphosphine, ROS‐responsive module thioketal, loading module poly(lactic‐co‐glycolic acid) (PLGA), and polyethylene glycol (PEG), and cross‐linker module disuccinimidyl suberate (DSS). After targeting mitochondria, ROS‐triggered cross‐linker release improves the cross‐linking coverage of mitochondria in situ. In total, this work identifies 2103 cross‐linked sites of 572 mitochondrial proteins in HepG2 cells. 1718 intra‐links reveal dynamic conformations involving chaperones with ATP‐dependent conformation cycles, and 385 inter‐links reveal dynamic interactions involving OXPHOS complexes and 27 pairs of possible potential interactions. These results signify that R‐CDNP can achieve dynamic conformation and interaction analysis of mitochondrial proteins in living cells, thereby contributing to a better understanding of their biological functions. The unstable solid electrolyte interface (SEI) formed on the surface of Li metal can induce dendrite growth, resulting in capacity fading, battery short circuit, and other problems, thus hindering the practical application of Li metal battery. In order to obtain stable and effective SEI, it is an effective strategy to construct an ideal artificial SEI (ASEI) by regulating the composition and structure of the interface. Among the inorganic materials used in the construction of ASEI, carbon quantum dots (CQDs) stand out as promising material due to their small size and abundant active sites. Herein, benefiting from the fluidity, surface smoothness, and high reactivity of liquid metal, combined with the use of N‐doped CQDs as dispersing particles, a surface modification method to achieve uniform dispersion of particles within the liquid metal is proposed. This technique offers a low‐cost solution for achieving uniform dispersion of little quantities of N‐doped CQDs (single dose < 0.1 mg cm−2) while ensuring enhanced interface adhesion to realize the construction of dense, strong and uniform ASEI. Developing metal‐free carbon catalysts with designable high nitrogen (N) content yet well‐organized N distribution within carbon at nanoscale is still one of the paramount challenges for electrochemical CO2 conversion. Herein, a gradient N doping enabled by the energetic microwave irradiation is realized along the radial direction of carbon nanotubes (CNTs), with an ultrahigh surface N content of 30.5 at%, beyond the upper limit of the tradition pyrolysis method. The unique time‐domain features of microwave heating presented as the sub‐minute residence time for precursors and relatively mild surface temperature on CNTs, contributing to the maximum reservation of the surface N species. The catalyst exhibits a prominent performance with great activity and selectivity for electrochemical CO2‐to‐CO conversion. Theoretical calculation confirmed the catalyst with high N‐doping level can promote the adsorption of CO2 molecule, with a low adsorption energy of −3.35 eV. Background: Increasing evidence shows that exosome‐mediated delivery of circular RNA (circRNA) is implicated in breast cancer progression. This study aimed to elucidate the role of exosome‐transported circ_0001955 in breast cancer. Methods: The expression of circ_0001955, miR‐708‐5p, and phosphoglycerate kinase 1 (PGK1) messenger RNA (mRNA) was detected by quantitative real‐time polymerase chain reaction (qRT‐PCR); the protein levels of PGK1 and hexokinase 2 (HK2) were detected by western blot (WB). 5′‐Ethynyl‐2′‐deoxyuridine (EdU) and colony formation assay were used to determine cell proliferation. Glycolytic metabolism was analyzed by corresponding kits to detect the associated indicators. The role of circ_0001955 in vivo was studied by establishing animal models. The potential binding relationship between miR‐708‐5p and circ_0001955 or PGK1 was verified by dual‐luciferase reporter assay and RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay. Results: Circ_0001955 was highly expressed in breast cancer tissues and cell lines, as well as in exosomes from breast cancer cell lines. The deficiency of circ_0001955 blocked proliferation, decreased the IC50 value of paclitaxel (PTX), and blocked glycolysis in MCF‐7 and MDA‐MB‐231 cells. Circ_0001955 knockdown also inhibited tumor growth in vivo. Circ_0001955 directly combined with miR‐708‐5p, and the miR‐708‐5p inhibitor reversed the effects of sh‐circ_0001955. PGK1 was a target of miR‐708‐5p, and circ_0001955 indirectly promoted PGK1 expression by binding to miR‐708‐5p. PGK1 overexpression abolished the function of miR‐708‐5p in breast cancer. Conclusion: Exosomal circ_0001955 excreted from breast cancer cells facilitated proliferation and glycolysis and enhanced the IC50 value of PTX in breast cancer cells by sponging miR‐708‐5p to upregulate PGK1. ABSTRACT A distributed time‐varying formation tracking method for a leader‐following networked swarm system in the presence of malicious deception attacks is proposed in this paper. Both state and output equations are injected with false data by adversaries to prevent formation tracking information transmission. The real‐time attack estimations are provided by an anomaly estimator. To design an event‐triggered secure formation tracking protocol, a state predictor is utilized to provide neighboring states. The attack estimations and neighboring error are considered in the secure control protocol, which is adjusted using the Lyapunov stability theorem. Pt‐based catalysts have been widely studied for propane dehydrogenation (PDH) because of their high activity and environmental sustainability. However, as a precious metal, the development of catalysts with high stability and low Pt content is of great significance. In this study, a series of silicalite‐1 (S‐1) supported PtMn (0.1PtxMn/S‐1) catalysts with low Pt loading amount (0.1 wt%) was prepared. The effects of different Mn loadings on the physicochemical properties and catalytic performance in the PDH reaction were studied. The addition of an appropriate amount of Mn regulated the dispersion of Pt particles and increased the number of active sites of the catalyst, enhancing the catalytic performance of PDH even at a low Pt loading. The initial propane conversion was 46.1% over 0.1Pt0.3Mn/S‐1 catalyst, and the deactivation rate constant was the lowest of 0.01 h−1. This may be because of an appropriate Mn loading was beneficial for enhancing the interaction between the metal and the support, forming MnOx is attached to the S‐1 surface, while the surface of MnOx stabilized the PtMn alloy, thereby improving the catalytic performance for PDH. Background: Endoscopic instrument segmentation is essential for ensuring the safety of robotic‐assisted spinal endoscopic surgeries. However, due to the narrow operative region, intricate surrounding tissues, and limited visibility, achieving instrument segmentation within the endoscopic view remains challenging. Purpose: This work aims to devise a method to segment surgical instruments in endoscopic video. By designing an endoscopic image classification model, features of frames before and after the video are extracted to achieve continuous and precise segmentation of instruments in endoscopic videos. Methods: Deep learning techniques serve as the algorithmic core for constructing the convolutional neural network proposed in this study. The method comprises dual stages: image classification and instrument segmentation. MobileViT is employed for image classification, enabling the extraction of key features of different instruments and generating classification results. DeepLabv3+ is utilized for instrument segmentation. By training on distinct instruments separately, corresponding model parameters are obtained. Lastly, a flag caching mechanism along with a blur detection module is designed to effectively utilize the image features in consecutive frames. By incorporating specific parameters into the segmentation model, better segmentation of surgical instruments can be achieved in endoscopic videos. Results: The classification and segmentation models are evaluated on an endoscopic image dataset. In the dataset used for instrument segmentation, the training set consists of 7456 images, the validation set consists of 829 images, and the test set consists of 921 images. In the dataset used for image classification, the training set consists of 2400 images and the validation set consists of 600 images. The image classification model achieves an accuracy of 70% on the validation set. For the segmentation model, experiments are conducted on two common surgical instruments, and the mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) exceeds 98%. Furthermore, the proposed video segmentation method is tested using videos collected during surgeries, validating the effectiveness of the flag caching mechanism and blur detection module. Conclusions: Experimental results on the dataset demonstrate that the dual‐stage video processing method excels in performing instrument segmentation tasks under endoscopic conditions. Objective: Thin endometrium caused by various factors affects the conception rate of females worldwide; however, current medications are still insufficient. Therefore, a novel approach is needed. We previously reported the effect of menstrual blood‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (MenSCs) in ameliorating ethanol‐induced endometrial injuries. In the present study, we aimed to investigate whether the effect of MenSCs is enhanced by a combination of platelet‐rich plasma (PRP) infusion. Methods: An endometrial injury mouse model was established by infiltrating 95% ethanol for 15 s into the uterus, followed by MenSCs, PRP, or MenSCs + PRP treatment. Pathological changes were observed by HE staining. The expression of CK18, vimentin, ItgαVβ3, and VEGF was determined using IHC staining and WB blotting. Results: Compared with the model, MenSCs, PRP, and MenSCs + PRP treatments significantly improved endometrial damage and thickness, with the combined therapy displaying the most pronounced efficacy. The density of CK18‐, vimentin‐, and ItgαVβ3 positive cells increased most significantly in the MenSCs + PRP group of mice. In addition, the protein expression of CK18, vimentin, and VEGF was significantly upregulated after MenSCs + PRP, MenSCs, and PRP treatment, with MenSCs + PRP therapy showing the best efficacy. Conclusion: MenSCs + PRP therapy is more beneficial for ameliorating ethanol‐induced endometrial damage than MenSCs or PRP alone, providing a basis for the investigation of novel approaches for treating thin endometria. BACKGROUND: Phytophthora spp. represent a pivotal genus of plant pathogens with a global distribution, exerting significant deleterious effects on food safety and forestry ecosystems. Numerous pathogenic and invasive Phytophthora species, introduced through imported fruits, have been frequently detected at Chinese ports. With the rise in global trade activities, the plant quarantine of imported fruits is becoming increasingly important but challenging. Fast, simple, and labor‐saving techniques are necessary and anticipated. RESUITS: A polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism capillary electrophoresis (PCR‐RFLP‐CE) technology‐based quarantine approach was developed for 16 Phytophthora species associated with the imported fruits in China. The Ypt1 gene, exhibiting abundant interspecific variations, was selected as the marker gene for PCR. The restriction endonuclease AluI was proven to be capable and compatible in simultaneously separating different Phytophthora species during CE. By combining with a fast and efficient DNA extraction kit, the developed PCR‐RFLP‐CE technique was successfully applied to identify Phytophthora species in artificially infested fruits. CONCLUSION: We provide a quick, practical, and high‐throughput detection approach for hazardous and invasive Phytophthora species associated with imported fruits in China. Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) presents a significant challenge due to its intricate pathogenesis. NSD2, a histone methyltransferase responsible for dimethylating histone 3 at lysine 36, is associated with transcriptional activation. NSD2 expression is decreased in both the intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) of IBD patients and the IBD mouse model. However, the precise role of NSD2 in IBD remains unexplored. Methods: Colon tissues from IBD mice, SW620 cells and MC38 cells, were used as research subjects. Clinical databases of IBD patients were analysed to investigate whether NSD2 expression is reduced in the occurrence of IBD. NSD2‐knockout mice were generated to further investigate the role of NSD2 in IBD. The IECs were isolated for RNA sequencing and chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing to identify molecular signalling pathways and key molecules leading to IBD in mice. Molecular and cellular experiments were conducted to analyse and validate the role of NSD2 in the development of IBD. Finally, rescue experiments were performed to confirm the molecular mechanism of NSD2 in the development of IBD. Results: Deficiency of NSD2 in mouse IECs aggravated epithelial barrier disruption and inflammatory response in IBD. Mechanistically, NSD2 loss led to downregulation of H3K36me2 and flavin‐containing monooxygenase (FMO) (taurine‐synthesis enzyme) mRNA, resulting in decreased taurine biosynthesis in IECs. Significantly, supplementation with taurine markedly alleviated the symptoms of NSD2 deficiency‐induced IBD. Conclusions: These data demonstrate that NSD2 plays a pivotal role in maintaining FMO‐mediated taurine biosynthesis to prevent intestinal inflammation. Our findings also underscore the importance of NSD2‐H3K36me2‐mediated taurine biosynthesis in maintaining intestinal mucosal barrier homeostasis. NSD2 levels were reduced in both human specimens and mouse models of IBD. Background and Purpose: Emerging evidence has linked impaired kidney function with dementia in older adults, but the neuropathological pathways underlying their association remain poorly understood. We sought to examine the relationships of kidney function with dementia and plasma biomarkers in a Chinese rural population. Methods: This population‐based study used data from the baseline examination of the Multimodal Interventions to Delay Dementia and Disability in rural China (MIND‐China) cohort (March–September 2018; n = 5715). Kidney function was assessed using estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) based on serum creatinine level. Dementia, Alzheimer's disease (AD) and vascular dementia (VaD) were diagnosed according to the international criteria. Plasma biomarkers were measured using the SIMOA platform in a subsample (n = 1446). Data were analyzed using logistic, general linear, and mediation models. Results: Of the 5715 participants, 306 were diagnosed with dementia, including 195 with AD and 100 with VaD. Impaired kidney function (eGFR <60 vs. ≥90 mL/min/1.73 m2) was associated with multivariable‐adjusted odds ratios of 2.24 (95% confidence interval [CI] 1.44–3.46) for all‐cause dementia, 1.85 (1.07–3.18) for AD, and 2.49 (1.16–5.22) for VaD. In the biomarker subsample, impaired kidney function was significantly associated with higher plasma amyloid‐β (Aβ)40 (β‐coefficient = 54.36, 95% CI 43.34–65.39), Aβ42 (β‐coefficient = 3.14, 95% CI 2.42–3.86), neurofilament light chain (β‐coefficient = 10.62, 95% CI 5.62–15.62), and total tau (β‐coefficient = 0.68, 95% CI 0.44–0.91), and a lower Aβ42/Aβ40 ratio (β‐coefficient = −4.11, 95% CI −8.08 to −0.14). The mediation analysis showed that plasma total tau significantly mediated 21.76% of the association between impaired kidney function and AD (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Impaired kidney function is associated with dementia and plasma biomarkers among rural‐dwelling older Chinese adults, and the association with AD is partly mediated by plasma biomarkers for neurodegeneration. Early detection and treatment are critical for improving the prognosis of patients with leptomeningeal metastasis. However, heterogeneous clinical manifestations, non‐specific imaging, and limited sensitivity of cerebrospinal fluid cytology posed challenges to identifying leptomeningeal metastasis in the early stage. Here we reported a case of lung adenocarcinoma complaining of rapid cognitive decline, whose magnetic resonance imaging showed interstitial brain edema. Under the circumstances of negative cerebrospinal fluid cytology, metagenome next‐generation sequencing and copy number variations analysis were applied, which indicated leptomeningeal metastasis and was confirmed in the subsequent cytology. Chemodynamic therapy (CDT) has shown promising antitumor effects in various malignant tumors. However, its application for glioblastoma (GBM) is significantly hindered by the challenge of delivering CDT agents across the blood‐brain barrier (BBB) and achieving efficient tumor targeting. To overcome these obstacles, this study presents a novel DNA nanomachine (Cu@tFNAs‐G‐A NM) by loading copper ions (Cu2+) onto tetrahedral framework nucleic acids (tFNAs) functionalized with dual DNA aptamers. The dual DNA aptamers (GS24 for BBB penetration and AS1411 for tumor targeting) empowered Cu@tFNAs‐G‐A NM with the ability to effectively penetrate the BBB and selectively accumulate in tumor cells. Upon internalization, the loaded Cu2+ reacted with tumor‐overexpressed reductive glutathione (GSH) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), generating hydroxyl radicals (·OH) and inducing tumor cell death. Additionally, Cu@tFNAs‐G‐A NM was found to be rapidly cleared from the brain and normal tissues within 24 h, minimizing potential systemic toxic side effects. ABSTRACT Lipopolysaccharides (LPS) is the major compoent of Gram‐negative bacteria and an important factor in inducing inflammation, which usually leads to multiple organ failure in broilers, seriously affecting the growth performance of broilers and hindering the development of poultry farming. Under the policy of prohibiting antibiotics in feed, it has become more urgent to find natural drugs to prevent liver damage caused by LPS in broilers. Asiatic acid (AA) is a pentacyclic triterpene that has been proven to have anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant effects. However, the protective effects of AA in LPS‐induced liver damage in broilers still need to be clarified. This study aims to explore the complete mechanism of AA against LPS‐induced acute liver injury (ALI) in broilers. A total of 60 broilers (1 day old) were randomly divided into the control group, LPS group, LPS+AA (15, 30 and 60 mg/kg) group and control+AA (60 mg/kg) group. At 16, 18 and 20 days of age, the broilers were attacked with LPS (0.5 mg/kg) to construct liver injury model. H&E staining assessed liver pathological changes. The mRNA and protein expression levels related to the HMGB1/TLR4/NF‐κB pathway, pyroptosis, and ERS‐mediated apoptosis in the liver tissue were detected. Our results founded that intraperitoneal injection of LPS in broilers increased the activities of AST and ALT, as well as raising the related gene and protein expression of the HMGB1/TLR4/NF‐κB pathway, pyroptosis, and ERS‐mediated apoptosis. Interestingly, AA improved LPS‐induced liver damage and decreased the activities of AST and ALT in broilers. Additionally, AA mitigated LPS‐induced ALI by reducing the mRNA levels and protein expressions of the HMGB1/TLR4/NF‐κB pathway, pyroptosis and ERS‐mediated apoptosis. In conclusion, the present study investigated that AA mitigated LPS‐induced ALI in broilers by reducing pyroptosis and ERS‐mediated apoptosis via inhibition of the HMGB1/TLR4/NF‐κB pathway. Biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film used in pulse film capacitors withstands high temperatures for a long time. This leads to frequent faults in pulse film capacitors, affecting the reliability of the pulse system. In this paper, the thermal aging tests of BOPP films at 100°C for 10–80 days are carried out in this paper, and the physicochemical and electrical properties of the aging materials are characterized. The results show that more deep and shallow traps to BOPP films are introduced during the thermal aging process. With the increase in aging time, the breakdown field strength gradually decreases, and the conductivity decreases first and then increases. Under the action of thermal aging for a long time, the recrystallization of materials and the destruction of molecular chains by thermal aging are the main reasons for the increase of traps and the decrease of breakdown field strength. The small intestinal (SI) microbiota plays an important role in human health and disease. Current methods based on fecal analysis do not provide an accurate representation of the SI microbiome. This article introduces an ingestible sensor for the quantification of Escherichia coli (E. coli) in the SI by developing the fluorescent thread‐based ingestible pill analytical device (TPAD) using fluorescent gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) coupled with molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs). Quantitative detection lies in the change in fluorescence signal on thread as proportional to target bacteria concentrations using a smartphone. Utilizing a pH‐sensitive enteric coating, this device facilitates localized sampling of the SI microbiome. Hydrophilic beads are employed to autonomously seal the device after sampling, offering a self‐locking mechanism. The sensor demonstrates a linear range for E. coli detection between 2.0 × 103 and 14.0 × 103 CFU mL−1 with an R2 of 0.9975 and a detection limit (LOD) of 400.0 × 102 CFU mL−1. The sensor also shows remarkable precision and acceptable accuracy for monitoring E. coli levels in in vivo animal studies compared to commercially available test kits. The developed TPAD, therefore, offers a novel, low‐cost, and non‐invasive method for rapidly diagnosing gastrointestinal (GI)‐related medical conditions and studying host–microbiome interactions. Chiral luminescent liquid crystal (LC) materials with switchable circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) signals have received extensive attention, in which the use of light stimulation to achieve different CPL states is of great significance. However, there are very few reports on the generation and regulation of CPL signals enabled by blue phase LC (BPLC). Herein, achieving CPL signal inversion based on the phase transition induced by light/temperature stimulation in a BPLC system with a wide room‐temperature window is reported. A binaphthalene azo‐based chiral photoswitch (S)‐switch 3 with high helical twisted power (HTP) and large HTP variation is synthesized, and a BP system with a wide room temperature range is further fabricated by doping (S)‐switch 3 and a fluorescence molecule into a bulk LC. By regulating the doping amount of (S)‐switch 3, a phase transition from BP to cholesteric (Ch) phase at room temperature is observed upon 365 nm UV light irradiation or during cooling process, and the polarization inversion of CPL signal is correspondingly found due to the different CPL generation mechanisms of BPLC and CLC. Ionic diode‐based generators show great superiority in harvesting low‐frequency mechanical energy from human motions for various wearable applications. The major challenge is to improve their extremely limited output voltage for the miniaturization/simplicity of ionic diode‐based self‐powered devices as well as further improvement of mechanoelectric conversion performance. Herein, the construction of gradient polycation/polyanion heterojunction is demonstrated to vastly boost the output voltage, energy‐harvesting efficiency, and sensing performance of ionic diode. Besides an inherent potential at the polyanion/polycation heterojunction interface, the additional transmembrane potentials can be generated across gradient polyanion and polycation conductors of ionic diodes due to their gradient charge distribution. Consequently, the gradient ionic diode‐based generators produce much higher output voltage (306.53 mV) than previously reported homogeneous ones (4.1–135 mV). Meanwhile, the high output voltage imparts gradient ionic diode‐based generator with ultrahigh power density (50.16 µW cm−2 or 250.8 µW cm−3) and pressure‐perception sensitivity (43582 mV/MPa), which are dramatically increased by 162.76% and 128.71%, respectively, compare to those of homogeneous one. Impressively, the resulting diode‐based generators can generate ultralarge current density (≈0.52 mA cm−2) with ultralong discharge time (>400 s), thus enabling the continuous power generation under the low‐frequency pressure for various wearable and implantable applications. The maturation of CO2 electrolysis to CO technology has rendered a cascade catalysis scheme, utilizing CO reduction as a media step, a promising strategy to produce high‐value C2+ fuel. However, the current catalysts employed in CO electroreduction (ECORR) face severe hydrogen evolution reactions at high current densities. Herein, a 2D porous Cu3N (2D‐P‐Cu3N) catalyst is reported with outstanding ECORR performance prepared by a two‐step pyrolysis strategy. This strategy mainly relies on the sequential annealing of the Cu2(OH)2CO3 precursors in an oxidation and reduction atmosphere, which can not only convert it into high‐purity Cu3N, but also endow it with an abundant hierarchical pores structure. The pores can significantly improve the in‐plane conductivity and mass transfer capacity of Cu3N, enabling a C2+ faradaic efficiency exceeding 90% at a current density of 0.6 A cm−2. Even at an ampere grade current density of 1 A cm−2, it maintains an impressive 87% selectivity, surpassing most of the reported Cu‐based catalysts. In‐situ Raman spectroscopy confirms that 2D‐P‐Cu3N exhibits high coverage and adsorption of CO intermediates, thus enhancing C‐C coupling and promoting the generation of C2+ products. Ti3C2, one typical MXene, has great potential to be coupled with various transition metals. Herein, a novel and effective catalyst is developed by synergistically loading VCoCOx onto Ti3C2‐modified nickel foam (VCoCOx–Ti3C2@NF). Field emission scanning electron microscope and high‐resolution transmission electron microscopy are employed to characterize the morphology and structure. As expected, the catalyst optimized by response surface methodology attains overpotentials of 290 and 64 mV and Tafel slopes of 82 and 79 mV dec−1 for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), respectively. By using the bifunctional VCoCOx–Ti3C2@NF catalyst, the water splitting current density achieves 10 mA cm−2 in 1.0 mol L−1 KOH electrolyte at cell voltage of 1.52 V, comparable with the noble metal electrolyzer Pt@C@NF||RuO2@NF (1.57 V). Furthermore, the resulting catalyst exhibits excellent cycling durability after 120 h of continuous catalysis, which retains 103.8% and 105.4% of potential (V vs reversible hydrogen electrode) for OER and HER, respectively. Density functional theory calculation reveals that the Gibbs free energy barriers for the OER and HER intermediates are reduced due to the integration of VCoCOx with Ti3C2@NF. Background: The Monte Carlo (MC) method is an accurate technique for particle transport calculation due to the precise modeling of physical interactions. Nevertheless, the MC method still suffers from the problem of expensive computational cost, even with graphics processing unit (GPU) acceleration. Our previous works have investigated the acceleration strategies of photon transport simulation for single‐energy CT. But for multi‐energy CT, conventional individual simulation leads to unnecessary redundant calculation, consuming more time. Purpose: This work proposes a novel GPU‐based shared MC scheme (gSMC) to reduce unnecessary repeated simulations of similar photons between different spectra, thereby enhancing the efficiency of scatter estimation in multi‐energy x‐ray exposures. Methods: The shared MC method selects shared photons between different spectra using two strategies. Specifically, we introduce spectral region classification strategy to select photons with the same initial energy from different spectra, thus generating energy‐shared photon groups. Subsequently, the multi‐directional sampling strategy is utilized to select energy‐and‐direction‐shared photons, which have the same initial direction, from energy‐shared photon groups. Energy‐and‐direction‐shared photons perform shared simulations, while others are simulated individually. Finally, all results are integrated to obtain scatter distribution estimations for different spectral cases. Results: The efficiency and accuracy of the proposed gSMC are evaluated on the digital phantom and clinical case. The experimental results demonstrate that gSMC can speed up the simulation in the digital case by ∼37.8% and the one in the clinical case by ∼20.6%, while keeping the differences in total scatter results within 0.09%, compared to the conventional MC package, which performs an individual simulation. Although quantum dot light‐emitting diodes (QLEDs) are extensively studied nowadays, their charge transport mechanism remains a subject of ongoing debate. Here, the hole transport in blue quantum dots (QDs) (CdZnSe/ZnSe/ZnS/CdZnS/ZnS based) is investigated by combining current‐voltage and transient electroluminescence measurements. The study demonstrates that the hole transport in QD thin films is characterized by a trap‐free space‐charge‐limited current with a zero‐field room temperature mobility of 4.4 × 10−11 m2 V−1 s−1. The zero‐field hole mobility is thermally activated with an activation energy of 0.30 eV. Applying the Extended Gaussian Disorder model provides a consistent description of the QD hole current as a function of voltage and temperature. Electrochemical CO2 reduction (ECR) reactions, powered by cleaner energy, possess significant promise in mitigating CO2 emissions and achieving carbon recycling. Herein, Ni@N‐C electrocatalysts with encapsulated structures are prepared using covalent organic frameworks (COFs) as templates, where COF‐derived nitrogen‐doped carbon (N‐C) is utilized to wrap Ni nanoparticles. At the potential of −0.97 V vs. RHE, 2Ni@N‐C‐800 is characterized by a high current density (j = 24.2 mA cm‐2) and relatively high CO Faraday efficiency (FECO = 72%), reflecting its good catalytic activity. The ECR performance of 2Ni@N‐C‐800 is due to the cooperative interaction between Ni nanoparticles and the N‐C structure, which is inferred from control and poisoning measurements. Background: Androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) in prostate cancer (PCa) has been associated with development of insulin resistance. However, the predominant site of insulin resistance remains unclear. Methods: The ADT & Metabolism Study was a single‐center, 24‐week, prospective observational study that enrolled ADT‐naive men without diabetes who were starting ADT for at least 24 weeks (ADT group, n = 42). The control group comprised men without diabetes with prior history of PCa who were in remission after prostatectomy (non‐ADT group, n = 23). Prevalent diabetes mellitus was excluded in both groups using all three laboratory criteria defined in the American Diabetes Association guidelines. All participants were eugonadal at enrollment. The primary outcome was to elucidate the predominant site of insulin resistance (liver or skeletal muscle). Secondary outcomes included assessments of body composition, and hepatic and intramyocellular fat. Outcomes were assessed at baseline, 12, and 24 weeks. Results: At 24 weeks, there was no change in hepatic (1.2; 95% confidence interval [CI], −2.10 to 4.43; p =.47) or skeletal muscle (−3.2; 95% CI, −7.07 to 0.66; p =.10) insulin resistance in the ADT group. No increase in hepatic or intramyocellular fat deposition or worsening of glucose was seen. These changes were mirrored by those observed in the non‐ADT group. Men undergoing ADT gained 3.7 kg of fat mass. Conclusions: In men with PCa and no diabetes, 24 weeks of ADT did not change insulin resistance despite adverse body composition changes. These findings should be reassuring for treating physicians and for patients who are being considered for short‐term ADT. In this prospective study of hormone‐naive men who were eugonadal and did not have diabetes, 24 weeks of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for prostate cancer (PCa) was not associated with worsening of hepatic or skeletal muscle insulin resistance despite a substantial increase in fat mass. These findings have relevance for both physicians and patients when determining treatment for PCa and suggest that a short course of ADT may not worsen metabolic risk in patients without pre‐existing diabetes. Summary: Bighead carp has the largest production amount among freshwater fish in China, but its physicochemical properties change rapidly with the denaturation of their myofibril protein (MP). The protein–polysaccharide complexes have shown interesting physicochemical properties as stabilisers and emulsifiers. In this study, arabinoxylans (AXs) were prepared and mixed with bighead carp MP to form a composite gel. The effect of AXs on the thermal stability, emulsification and emulsion stability of the composite gel was investigated. The results showed that fraction precipitated by 60% ethanol (F60) and by 90% (F90) improved the denaturation temperature of bighead carp MP from 65.99 °C to 67.39 °C and 68.22 °C, respectively. The emulsifying capacity of F60 (0.54 m2 g−1) was similar to that of sucrose (0.52 m2 g−1). The effect of F90 on the emulsion stability of bighead carp MP was better than that of F60. The elasticity of bighead carp MP was improved by F60 and F90. The hydroxyl group interactions, hydrophobic interactions and electrostatic forces exist between the macromolecules. Electrocatalytic alkynol semi‐hydrogenation for the high‐value chemicals alkenol with mild conditions and carbon‐free emission is a potentially green and sustainable alternative to conventional thermocatalytic routes, which generally involves the design of electrocatalysts with high activity and high selectivity. Here, the rare‐earth single‐atom (Ln = La, Nd, Pr) coordinated Pd metallene (Ln1Pdene) is reported for electrocatalytic 2‐methyl‐3‐butyn‐2‐ol (MBY) semi‐hydrogenation reaction (MBY ESHR) to synthesis of 2‐methyl‐3‐buten‐2‐ol (MBE). Typically, in alkaline medium containing 0.1 m MBY, MBY conversion and MBE selectivity of La1Pdene are as high as ≈97% and ≈95%, respectively, with excellent electrocatalytic stability. Meanwhile, in situ infrared spectra reveal the conversion of MBY to MBE during the dynamic electrocatalytic process. Theoretical calculations reveal that the interaction between La single‐atom and Pd host triggers an unconventional transformation of the intermediate MBE* adsorption configuration during electrocatalytic hydrogenation, achieving the optimal desorption energy between La1Pd and target product and optimizing the reaction energy barriers to inhibit the over‐hydrogenation of MBE. Moreover, La single‐atom as the adsorption active site of the hydrogen supplier H2O effectively reduces the competition adsorption between the reactants MBY and H2O, rendering La single‐atom and Pd host as the synergistic co‐catalytic active sites to promote the electrocatalytic MBY semi‐hydrogenation reaction. Current diagnostic technique in direct identification of multi‐site plaques and simultaneous assessment of plaque vulnerability remains a challenge, which is crucial for indicating the risk of atherosclerotic cardiovascular diseases (ASCVD). Herein, an osteopontin (OPN)‐specific nanoprobe (OPN Ab‐Au/FeNiPO4@ICG) with both multiple spectra optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) and computed tomography (CT) imaging, is constructed successfully realizing systemic screening of vulnerable plaque. OPN Ab‐Au/FeNiPO4@ICG nanoprobe specifically targeted OPN‐overexpressed foam cells and recognized the vulnerable plaque at the molecular level. In AS mice, CT imaging exhibits that OPN Ab‐Au/FeNiPO4@ICG nanoprobe effectively avoid interference from calcification and accurately visualized AS plaque. MSOT functional imaging results reveals that after the injection of OPN Ab‐Au/FeNiPO4@ICG nanoprobe, the carotid plaque exhibited a much higher MSOT signal than the aortic arch plaque (P = 0.0291). Further pathological analysis displays that the carotid plaque possessed a much higher vulnerability score (P = 0.0247), in agreement with the MSOT signals. More importantly, the linear regression analysis confirms the high correlation between the MSOT signals and plaque vulnerability with R = 0.7095 (P = 0.0216), demonstrating the potential of the proposed nanoprobe in systematic evaluation of plaque vulnerability. Electrocatalysts for the oxygen evolution process must be both active and stable in order to make hydrogen from water using renewable power. Nitrogen‐doped carbon layer coated cobalt manganate particles were synthesized on carbon cloth using calcination method. The catalysts exhibited small particle sizes and graphitized carbon layer that covered the cobalt manganate, facilitating electron flow. Moreover, the nitrogen‐doped carbon layer enhanced the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) rate by reducing the potential required for surface reconstruction and optimizing electron distribution on the cobalt manganate surface. This electrocatalyst demonstrated a current density of 100 mA/cm2 at 1.56 V vs. RHE. Thus, this electrocatalyst shows promise as a novel OER catalyst for water oxidation in acidic aqueous solutions. Engineering multimetallic nanocatalysts with the entropy‐mediated strategy to reduce reaction activation energy is regarded as an innovative and effective approach to facilitate efficient heterogeneous catalysis. Accordingly, conformational entropy‐driven high‐entropy alloys (HEAs) are emerging as a promising candidate to settle the catalytic efficiency limitations of nanozymes, attributed to their versatile active site compositions and synergistic effects. As proof of the high‐entropy nanozymes (HEzymes) concept, elaborate PdMoPtCoNi HEA nanowires (NWs) with abundant active sites and tuned electronic structures, exhibiting peroxidase‐mimicking activity comparable to that of natural horseradish peroxidase are reported. Density functional theory calculations demonstrate that the enhanced electron abundance of HEA NWs near the Fermi level (EF) is facilitated via the self‐complementation effect among the diverse transition metal sites, thereby boosting the electron transfer efficiency at the catalytic interface through the cocktail effect. Subsequently, the HEzymes are integrated with a portable electronic device that utilizes Internet of Things‐driven signal conversion and wireless transmission functions for point‐of‐care diagnosis to validate their applicability in digital biosensing of urinary biomarkers. Supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) plays an important role in solving the Schrödinger equation, and it is also important to find more superpotentials that can be solved accurately. On the basis of studying the characteristics of existing superpotentials, the authors find a missing superpotential and put forward a method by combining two functions to construct all existing solvable superpotentials and prove the existence of the missing superpotential. First, based on the idea of SUSYQM, this paper studies the shape invariance of the partner potentials with the form of two functions and obtains the energy spectrum in many different cases. Second, according to the results of solving differential equations satisfied by two functions, the authors not only construct most existing solvable superpotentials successfully but also generate a missing solvable superpotential. This study addresses a gap in the literature by exploring the longitudinal effects of hassles in mediating the relationship between neuroticism and the tripartite model of depression and anxiety. The research investigates these associations in a large sample of university students, utilising baseline and 6‐month follow‐up data. Initial assessments involved participants completing measures for neuroticism, depression and anxiety symptoms, and the occurrence of stress, followed by monthly assessments of stress, anxiety symptom and mood symptoms over a 6‐month period. Our results illuminate the mediating role of daily hassles in the relationship between neuroticism and various dimensions of anxiety and depression, including general distress, specific depression, and anxiety symptoms. These findings underscore the significant impact of neuroticism and hassles on a broad spectrum of mood symptoms, offering valuable insights for both research and clinical practice. Background: The microneedle fractional radiofrequency system (MFRS) is able to rejuvenate facial appearance by heating and coagulating certain depth of skin tissue. Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of a novel vacuum‐assisted MFRS for facial contour tightening. Methods: This prospective, randomized, split‐face study included 21 patients who underwent three treatments with a vacuum‐assisted MFRS at 1‐month intervals. Half of the face was treated with the MFRS; the other half was untreated (control). Facial volume changes and wrinkles were objectively measured using a three‐dimensional imaging system and VISIA‐CR. Results: Volume changes of the treated midface were −0.24 ± 0.75, −0.59 ± 0.92, and −0.55 ± 0.65 mL at 1, 3, 6 months follow‐up; however, measurements of the control side were 0.08 ± 0.70, −0.08 ± 0.53, and − 0.10 ± 0.86 mL, indicating significant reductions (p < 0.05). The number of facial wrinkles on the treated side was significantly reduced to 12.44 ± 4.85 at 3 months and sustained at 6 months (11.11 ± 4.100) compared to the control side (14.89 ± 5.26 and 13.22 ± 4.44, respectively; p < 0.05). No long‐term side effects occurred. Conclusion: The vacuum‐assisted MFRS is safe and effective and is recommended for improving facial tightening and reducing wrinkles. This technology is sufficient to ensure the insertion depth, thus helping to improve the treatment accuracy and safety. The MFRS provides sustained effects for at least 6 months. Hydrogel actuators with complex 3D initial shapes show numerous important applications, but it remains challenging to fabricate such actuators. This article describes a polyelectrolyte‐based strategy for modulating small‐scale internal stresses within hydrogels to construct complex actuators with tailored 3D initial shapes. Introducing polyelectrolytes into precursor solutions significantly enhances the volume shrinkage of hydrogel networks during polymerization, allowing us to modulate internal stresses. Photopolymerization of these polyelectrolyte‐containing solutions through a mask produces mechanically strong hydrogel sheets with large patterned internal stresses. Consequently, these hydrogel sheets attain complex 3D initial shapes at equilibrium, in contrast to the planar initial configuration of 2D actuators. We demonstrate that these 3D actuators can reversibly transform into other 3D shapes (i.e. 3D‐to‐3D shape transformations) in response to external stimuli. Additionally, we develop a predictive model based on the Flory‐Rehner theory to analyze the polyelectrolyte‐mediated shrinking behaviors of hydrogel networks during polymerization, allowing precise modulation of shrinkage and internal stress. Streptococcus mutans is the major etiological agent of dental caries in humans. S. mutans overgrowth within dental biofilms can trigger biofilm dysbiosis, ultimately leading to the initiation or progression of dental caries. Polyketides and nonribosomal peptides (PKs/NRPs) are secondary metabolites with complex structures encoded by a cluster of biosynthetic genes. Although not essential for microbial growth, PKs/NRPs play important roles in physiological regulation. Three main classes of hybrid PKs/NRPs in S. mutans have been identified, including mutanobactin, mutanocyclin, and mutanofactin, encoded by the mub, muc, and muf gene clusters, respectively. These three hybrid PKs/NRPs play important roles in environmental adaptation, biofilm formation, and interspecies competition of S. mutans. In this review, we provide an overview of the major hybrid PKs/NRPs of S. mutans, including mutanobactin, mutanocyclin, and mutanofactin and address their ecological roles in dental biofilms. We place specific emphasis on important questions that are yet to be answered to provide novel insights into the cariogenic mechanism of S. mutans and facilitate improved management of dental caries. We highlight that S. mutans PKs/NRPs may be potential novel targets for the prevention and treatment of S. mutans‐induced dental caries. The development of genomics, metabolomics, and mass spectrometry, together with the integration of various databases and bioinformatics tools, will allow the identification and synthesis of other secondary metabolites. Elucidating their physicochemical properties and their ecological roles in oral biofilms is crucial in the identification of novel targets for the ecological management of dental caries. INTRODUCTION: CD33 rs3865444 and hypertension (HTN) are related to cognitive impairment, individually. However, little is known about their combined effects on cognitive function in older adults. METHODS: This population‐based study included 4368 dementia‐free participants (age ≥65 years) in the Multimodal Interventions to Delay Dementia and Disability in Rural China (MIND‐China), with data available in 1044 persons for gray matter volume and 85 persons for cerebral blood flow (CBF). We used general linear regression and mediation models to examine the associations of rs3865444 and HTN with cognition, brain atrophy, and CBF. RESULTS: Among rs3865444 CC carriers, HTN and late‐life HTN were significantly associated with impaired cognition. Midlife and late‐life HTN were correlated with brain atrophy. CD33 rs3865444 CC moderated the mediation effect of gray matter volume on the association between HTN and global cognition. HTN was correlated with low CBF in rs3865444 CC carriers. DISCUSSION: There are synergistic associations of CD33 rs3865444 and HTN with brain and cognitive aging in dementia‐free older adults. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
