Abstract

The article offers information on penile benign mucinous metaplasia (BMM) of the genitalia, a rare condition, characterized by the presence of cells with foamy mucinous cytoplasm. It informs that characterzation of BMM is done with thinned epithelium with mucus containing cells in the upper layer and a band-like mixed infiltrate in the dermis, containing numerous plasma cells.
