Background: Bisphosphonates (BPs) are the first‐line treatment to stop bone resorption in diseases, including osteoporosis, Paget's disease, multiple myeloma and bone metastases of cancer. However, BPs‐related osteonecrosis of the jaw (BRONJ), characterized by local inflammation and jawbone necrosis, is a severe intractable complication. The cumulative inflammatory burden often accompanies impaired lymphatic drainage, but its specific impact on BRONJ and the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Methods: The mouse BRONJ model was established to assess the integrity and drainage function of lymphatic vessels by tissue clearing techniques, injected indocyanine green lymphatic clearance assay, flow cytometry analysis and histopathological staining. RNA sequencing, metabolome analysis, transmission electron microscopy and Western blotting were utilized to analyze the impacts of Zoledronate acid (ZA) on endoplasmic reticulum stress (ERS) and function of lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs). By constructing Lyve1creERT; SIRT6f/f and Lyve1creERT; ATG5f/f mice, we evaluated the role of ERS‐induced LECs apoptosis in the progression of BRONJ. Additionally, we developed a nanoparticle‐loaded ZA and rapamycin (ZDPR) to enhance autophagy and evaluated its potential in mitigating BRONJ. Results: The mouse BRONJ model displayed impaired lymphatic drainage, accompanied by significant local inflammation and bone necrosis. The prolonged stimulation of ZA resulted in the extension of ERS and the inhibition of autophagy in LECs, ultimately leading to apoptosis. Mechanistically, ZA activated XBP1s through the NAD+/SIRT6 pathway, initiating ERS‐induced apoptosis in LECs. The conditional knockout mouse models demonstrated that the deletion of SIRT6 or ATG5 significantly worsened lymphatic drainage and inflammatory infiltration in BRONJ. Additionally, the innovative nanoparticle ZDPR alleviated ERS‐apoptosis in LECs and enhanced lymphatic function, facilitating inflammation resolution. Conclusion: Our study has elucidated the role of the NAD+/SIRT6/XBP1s pathway in ERS‐induced apoptosis in ZA‐treated LECs, and further confirmed the therapeutic potential of ZDPR in restoring endothelial function and improving lymphatic drainage, thereby effectively mitigating BRONJ. Membrane separation is an energy‐saving technology for carbon capture. However, it is subjected to permeability‐selectivity trade‐off limitation. Although chemical functionalization is proposed to boost separation efficiency, controlling sorption–diffusion process remains extremely challenging. In this study, a facile, controllable, and versatile chemical vapor amination strategy is reported to simultaneously tune gas sorption and diffusion in polymer of intrinsic microporosity (PIM)‐based membranes for improving carbon capture performance. Through simple exposure in amine vapors under mild conditions, nucleophilic substitution of amines toward ether and halogen groups induce grafting, ring‐opening, terminal replacement, chain‐scission, and crosslinking of PIM‐1, thereby underpinning CO2‐philicity and tailoring passageway. The prepared CO2‐philic membranes exhibit substantially improved CO2/N2 selectivity over 30.8, about 226% as that of original one, accompanied by high CO2 permeability of 2590 Barrer, which can surpass the trade‐off upper bound of polymer membranes. Metal–organic framework (MOF) membranes are promising for efficient separation applications. However, the uncontrollable pathways at atomic level impede the further development of these membranes for molecular separation. Herein we show that vapor linker exchange can induce partial amorphization of MOF membranes and then reduce their transport pathways for precisely molecular sieving. Through exchanging MOF linkers by incoming ones with similar topology but higher acidity, the resulted metal‐linker bonds with lower strength cause the transformation of MOF membranes from order to disorder/amorphous. The linker exchange and partial amorphization can narrow intrinsic apertures and conglutinate grain boundary/crack defects of membranes. Because of the formation of ultra‐microporous amorphous phase, the MOF composite membrane shows competitive H2/CO2 selectivity up to 2400, which is about two orders of magnitude higher than that of conventional MOF membranes, accompanied by high H2 permeance of 13.4 × 10−8 mol m−2 s−1 Pa−1 and good reproducibility and stability. The controlling filler aggregation and strengthening interfacial interaction are of great scientific significance for mixed matrix membranes (MMMs). In this study, the polymer‐embedded metal‐organic framework (pMOF) microspheres (MSs) are designed by one‐pot synthesis and employed as microfillers for improving separation performance of MMMs. Through adding polymer during solvothermal crystallization, the polymer chains are embedded into the MOF materials, and the morphologies of the MOFs are transformed from nanopaticles to polycrystalline MSs. Since the embedding of the identical polymer promotes the compatibility of polymeric matrixes and fillers, as well as the micrometer‐sized porous MSs offer additionally superior and permanent transport pathways, the resulted MMMs display simultaneously enhanced selectivity and permeability for carbon capture. The CO2/CH4 selectivity and CO2 permeability of the pMOF MMMs are achieved at 1.3 and 2.2 times as those of the pure polymeric membranes, and 1.5 and 1.2 times as those of the MOF MMMs, respectively. Distillation with multitudinous structured packings has shown great potential for chemical separation. However, there still remains a big challenge to prepare porous structured packings with more productive separation and better mass transfer efficiency due to materials limitations. Metal–organic framework (MOF) membranes have commendable porous structures that provide enough pathways for fast mass transport and superhydrophobic character for efficient separation. Herein, novel MOFs‐based hollow fiber structured packings were fabricated by a facile two‐step blending and post‐coating method and successfully applied in alcohol/water distillation. The ZIF‐8 nanoparticles with high surface area and hydrophobic framework in PDMS matrix greatly accelerated mass transfer rate of membrane. Especially, as hydrophobic ZIF‐8/PDMS layer was coated on the inner surface of fibers, the wetting behavior of membranes can be effectively prevented. The prepared ZIF‐8/PDMS structured packings can be easily operated far above the normal flooding limit and held the height of mass transfer unit as small as desired. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
