Summary: With the rapid increase in energy utilization and the tremendously growing number of connected devices in wireless sensor networks (WSNs), alternate power transfer methods have not only become significant for scholastic purposes but also the growth of WSNs and the reduction of operational costs. Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) is an emerging technology that has the potential to boost the lifespan of WSNs. This work presents an innovative approach to improving the energy efficiency of WSNs. Here, a WSN is considered, and energy‐aware communication is established in six phases, such as setup, steady state, energy prediction, SWIPT‐based power transfer, communication/route discovery, and route maintenance. Further, a hybrid approach named tangent sine search optimization (TSSO) is created to identify the ideal node as cluster head (CH). Later, the age of the neighboring nodes is forecasted utilizing the deep long short‐term memory (DLSTM), whose trainable parameters are selected using the proposed TSSO algorithm. A SWIPT‐based power transfer is also performed for harvesting the energy to avoid node failures. The proposed TSSO‐DLSTM+SWIPT is investigated given various metrics, like delay, residual energy, throughput, and trust, and the values attained are 0.784 s, 0.790 J, 0.970 Mbps, and 0.997, respectively without any attacks. The proposed TSSO‐DLSTM+SWIPT obtained performance improvement of 11.08%, 10.07%, 7.99%, and 5.83% than the Iterative algorithm in terms of delay, residual energy, throughput, and trust. Remote monitoring systems has emerged to automate public services, where Internet of Things (IoT) devices are deployed to collect and relay streams of status updates to a remote control centre. The freshness of collected data is of critical importance to system performance, which can be quantified by the concept of age of information (AoI). To obtain timely perception of the monitored area, each sensor tends to sample status updates at the maximum frequency, which may lead to device drop‐outs due to limited battery capacity. Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) is considered as a promising technology to prolong network lifetime. In this paper, a SWIPT‐enabled two‐hop relay network, where a relay node uses power splitting protocol to assist data transmissions from multiple source nodes to the destination is considered. The impact of power splitting coefficients, data arrival pattern and time‐varying channel conditions on the averaged age performance and expected lifetime of the system is theoretically analysed. Moreover, a lightweight relay strategy which selectively forward packets based on a reward function consisting of energy level at relay node and expected age reduction is developed. Summary: A dual‐hop time‐switched (TS) energy harvesting (EH) amplify forward (AF) relay system has been considered, which comprises three nodes: source (S), destination (D), and an energy harvesting relay (R), respectively. Besides the relay link, the proposed architecture has an additional direct link between the source and destination node. For this model, we derive the expressions for system outage probability and throughput. The proposed architecture shows significant performance increments in terms of system outage probability and throughput when compared with a traditional EH relay system having no direct link. In this paper, we propose one‐bit feedback‐based distributed beamforming (DBF) techniques for simultaneous wireless information and power transfer in interference channels where the information transfer and power transfer networks coexist in the same frequency spectrum band. In a power transfer network, multiple distributed energy transmission nodes transmit their energy signals to a single energy receiving node capable of harvesting wireless radio frequency energy. Here, by considering the Internet‐of‐Things sensor network, the energy harvesting/information decoding receivers (ERx/IRx) can report their status (which may include the received signal strength, interference, and channel state information) through one‐bit feedback channels. To maximize the amount of energy transferred to the ERx and simultaneously minimize the interference to the IRx, we developed a DBF technique based on one‐bit feedback from the ERx/IRx without sharing the information among distributed transmit nodes. Finally, the proposed DBF algorithm in the interference channel is verified through the simulations and also implemented in real time by using GNU radio and universal software radio peripheral. Summary: Cognitive inspired non‐orthogonal multiple access (Cognitive‐NOMA) technique allows multiple primary and secondary users to utilize the same time and frequency resources to explore the reliability and spectral efficient requirements of 5G communication networks. In this paper Cognitive‐NOMA downlink system with multiple secondary source (SS) nodes is proposed. An optimal SS node is selected based on the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) requirements of both near and far primary users and the secondary user node. Each optimal SS node incorporates simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) and full‐duplex technique to harvest energy and transceiver operation. Analytical outage probability expressions of the proposed system are derived over Nakagami‐m fading environment with the assumption that SS transmission links are correlated. Numerical results infer that the outage performance of the proposed system depends on the number of SS nodes, self‐interference at the SS node, and the SINR constraint for the selection of optimal SS node. In this letter, the maximum achievable rate of downlink decode‐and‐forward (DF) multiple input and multiple output (MIMO) relaying system is investigated. In this system, a MIMO relay can simultaneously harvest power and transfer information. Power allocation over each spatial subchannel at the both base station (BS)‐relay's links and relay‐users' links, and the power splitting ratio (PSR) are optimized simultaneously. Based on the complicated form of optimality conditions, a novel power allocation algorithm is proposed which can find the optimal solution, too. Simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) in wireless cooperative networks is studied, where multiple source–destination pairs establish a communication link via an energy harvesting (EH) relay. The relay employs a power splitting (PS) scheme to harvest the energy sent from each source, which it uses to forward the transmissions to the destinations. The total transmission rate maximisation problem is investigated subject to transmit power and EH constraints, which can be divided into each source–destination node's transmission rate based on a non‐cooperative transmission strategy. This problem is addressed to obtain the optimal PS ratio and power allocation, and derive a closed‐form solution. A high‐rate beamforming design is reported for amplify‐and‐forward wireless relay networks with simultaneous information and power transfer. To achieve high sum rate, a new relay beamformer is designed to support multi‐pair source–destination communication links as well as an energy receiver simultaneously, instead of serving one information transmitter at a time. An energy‐harvesting constrained sum‐rate maximisation problem for this design is formulated, then relaxed and reformulated into a series of convex problems, which can be iteratively solved in polynomial time, eventually leading to a high‐rate beamforming solution. A flexible and secure artificial noise (AN)‐aided framework is proposed for multi‐input multioutput (MIMO) nonorthogonal multiple‐access (NOMA) systems. We guarantee resource allocation in a multicluster paradigm with simultaneous wireless power and information transfer (SWIPT) exploiting the power‐splitting technique. This recourse allocation is fulfilled where: (a) the energy‐harvesting receivers do not intercept the nonrelative data; while (b) decoding the relative cell‐edge user in the same cluster. We provide closed‐form solutions, as well as proposition of the controller π ∈{πα − πκ} for the case of imperfect channel estate information (CSI).
