Purpose: This study aimed to explore whether self‐concealment (SC) affects the quality of life (QOL), and whether cognitive emotion regulation (CER) mediates the relationship between SC and QOL among breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Methods: This cross‐sectional study was conducted among 228 breast cancer chemotherapy patients from November 2021 to March 2022 in Anhui Province, China. Data were collected using the Self‐Concealment Scale, Cognitive Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, and Short Form 36 Questionnaire. Descriptive statistics, independent‐sample t test, one‐way analysis of variance, and structural equation modeling were used to explore associations among SC, CER, and QOL. Results: QOL levels differed significantly by participant age, monthly per capita household income and home location. SC was negatively correlated with QOL. SSC was negatively correlated with adaptive‐CER strategies and positively correlated with maladaptive‐CER strategies. Adaptive‐CER strategies were positively correlated with QOL. Maladaptive‐CER strategies were negatively correlated with QOL. CER fully mediated the association between SC and QOL in breast cancer chemotherapy patients. Conclusion: Nursing staff should help breast cancer chemotherapy patients reduce the use of maladaptive‐CER strategies in the care of patients in the future. Cistanche deserticola has recently been included in the category of food. In this study, the physical and chemical attributes and antioxidant capacity of six kinds of C. deserticola powders prepared by jet milling were discussed. With the decrease of particle size, the specific surface areas of C. deserticol powders had increased significantly (from 0.040 ± 0.0060 to 0.86 ± 0.030 m2·g−1). The repose angles and slide angles (from 18.43 ± 1.15° to 34.21 ± 1.72° and 27.38 ± 1.72° to 35.80 ± 1.49°, respectively), water and oil holding capacities (from 2.40 ± 0.11 to 1.23 ± 0.12 g/g, 0.73 ± 0.12 to 1.39 ± 0.11 g/g, respectively) of superfine C. deserticola powders were compared with coarse powders. Superfine grinding promoted the dissolution of active substances, such as the dissolution of phenylethanol glycoside increased from 0.15% to 2.11%. The ultrafine powders of C. deserticola show great potential in food industry, such as health foods and dietary foods, extending the application of C. deserticola. Practical Applications: Cistanche deserticola have recently been included into food catalogue and the ultrafine particles of C. deserticola would be widely used in food industry. Therefore, to understand the physico‐chemical and antioxidant properties are very necessary, which could be conducive to improve their application. In this paper, density functional theory (DFT) was used to study the reaction mechanism of the production of hydrogen peroxide from oxygen and water catalyzed by graphene supported metal (Al, Zn, and Fe) catalysts. By comparing the supported stability of metal at different sites on graphene surface, the optimal support sites are determined and then a stable catalyst model is selected. Two different reaction paths for the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide and a competitive reaction path for the generation of hydrogen are discussed, the microscopic reaction mechanism of the synthesis of hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by water and oxygen is investigated in detail. The stable structures of reactants, intermediates, and products in each path are optimized. By comparing the activation energies of different reaction paths, the optimal reaction paths are obtained, and the possibility of side reaction products is predicted. At the same time, the electron density, band structure, and density of states characteristics of these graphene supported metal catalysts are studied. The correlation between the physical properties of the three catalysts and their catalytic performances is analyzed. It is predicted that Al, Zn, and Fe catalysts supported by graphene may have the ability to directly generate hydrogen peroxide in industrial wastewater treatment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aim: To evaluate the effectiveness of a professional identity promotion strategy (PIPS) on nursing students' professional identity and resilience. Methods: This study was a quasi‐experimental study with a random cluster sample of 103 sophomore undergraduate nursing students. One hundred students answered the questionnaires at both baseline and follow‐up (51 of 53 in the intervention group and 49 of 50 in the control group). Intervention and control groups underwent 5 months PIPS and standard professional education from May 2 to September 27, respectively. Participants completed the professional identity questionnaire for nursing students (PIQNS) and Connor–Davidson resilience scale (CD‐RISC). Data were collected at baseline (T0), after the intervention (T1) and 3 months after the intervention (T2), and analyzed using the Chi‐squared test, Fisher's exact test, and repeated‐measures analysis of variance. Results: There were no significant differences between the two groups (p >.05) regarding demographic questions, professional identity, or resilience at baseline (p >.05). Significant differences were found in professional identity between groups (p <.001), measurement times (p =.026), and in the interaction between groups and measurement times (p =.018) from T0 to T2. Significant differences were found in resilience between groups (p <.001), measurement times (p =.007), and in the interaction between groups and measurement times (p =.035) from T0 to T2. Conclusions: The PIPS program improved nursing students' professional identity and resilience. Sasa is a taxonomically problematic genus of bamboos mainly distributed in Japan and China. Recent phylogenetic analyses demonstrated that Sasa is polyphyletic, with Chinese species of Sasa being distantly related to species from Japan. Based on newly collected flowering materials from China, it was found that the Chinese species hitherto placed in Sasa subg. Sasa have racemose synflorescences, 2–3 florets per spikelet with a rudimentary terminal floret, and 3 stamens and 2 stigmas per floret. This distinguishes them from the type of Sasa and other species of that genus, which have paniculate synflorescences, 4–10 florets per spikelet, and 6 stamens and 3 stigmas per floret. Together with several differences in vegetative characters between these two groups, this morphological distinction warrants recognition of a new genus for the Chinese species hitherto placed in Sasa subg. Sasa. The results of our molecular phylogenetic analyses also strongly support the monophyly of the Chinese representatives of Sasa subg. Sasa. The new genus Sinosasa is described to accommodate the Chinese species, including three previously recognized species and four new species. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Here we describe and illustrate a new species, Melocalamus grandiauritus N.H. Xia, Q.M. Qin & J. B. Ni sp. nov., from the lowland forest in Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam. Molecular phylogeny based on the GBSSI indicates that this species is a member of Melocalamus. Morphologically, M. grandiauritus is different from all congeneric species in Vietnam. It is somewhat similar to M. pacoensis H.N.Nguyen & V.T.Tran, but is easily distinguished by having much wider suborbicular culm leaf auricles, very high and ventricose auricles of foliage leaves, entire ligules of both culm leaves and foliage leaves, and large leaf blades.
