Objective: In oral rehabilitation, a full mouth minimal invasive treatment can represent a major challenge for the patient and the dentist. The purpose of this article is to present a new technique to restore eroded teeth and recover the vertical dimension with a simple and predictable technique. Clinical Considerations: Occlusal tabletop restorations are a suitable conservative option to restore anatomy and vertical dimension augmentation but highly sensitive. The cementation of those restorations without stable landmarks, the cement excess removal, the insertion path, or the time needed are some of the difficulties can be faced. Now a days with the new CAD‐CAM techniques is possible to develop a new occlusal tabletop manufacturing alternative utilizing 3D‐printed technology by unifying the restorations with a customized connector that allows us to print several onlays at same time, as a single object, also being cemented at once. Conclusions: This protocol reduces the technique sensitivity of a vertical dimension oral rehabilitation process, reduce the chair time, enhancing the patient‐comfort and delivers a unique way to restore dental lost anatomy as a definitive or temporary way with printing materials. Clinical Significance: With the advent of new CAD‐CAM 3D printing materials, which are increasingly versatile and gaining favor among clinicians, it is now possible to address complex clinical situations with greater predictability. The papermaking, packaging, and printing industry are actively seeking sustainable material alternatives to address growing concerns about environmental consciousness and finite resources. Synthetic latex, a frequently utilized binder in paper coating formulations, present difficulties due to their dependence on fossil fuel resources and their reduced recyclability in comparison to eco‐friendly sustainable products. In this study, synthetic latex was replaced with a starch‐based nanoparticle (starch NP) binder at a 1:1 ratio in a coating formulation. Printing trials to assess colorimetric characteristics was made using electrophotography (EP) printing, given the current upward trajectory and expansion of EP technology into the label, packaging, and folding carton sectors. The in‐depth investigations reveal that incorporating starch NP binder result in improved optical, color, and dot characteristics. Moreover, it maintains consistent and comparable coefficients of friction. Partial replacement of synthetic latex with the starch NP binder yields significant enhancements in surface roughness and text quality. Importantly, the starch NP binder not only improves the dielectric relaxation properties of the paper and enhances toner transfer but also accelerates the distribution of the electrical field compared to synthetic latex, optimizing toner transfer and thereby enhancing color gamut volume. The study demonstrates that employing the starch NP binder leads to substantial improvements in colorimetric performance without any drawbacks in EP printing, making it highly advantageous to replace 50% of the synthetic binder. Nano/microfabrication is of fundamental importance both in scientific and industrial situations. There are, therefore, many attempts at realizing easier, quicker, and more precise fabrication of various structures; however, achieving this aim without a bulky and costly setup is still challenging. Here, we introduce a facile and versatile means of printing an ordered structure consisting of nanoscale stripes and more complicated geometries including pillars and wavy form with a lateral resolution of single micrometers. To this end, we prepare a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) slab with an oxygen plasma‐induced wrinkled surface where liquid PDMS exudes by syneresis. Since this liquid PDMS is automatically loaded, the printing is repeatable without inking. A substrate moderately wettable to the liquid PDMS as well as amount/property‐controlled syneresis is primarily important for the creation of well‐defined structures. The demand for cost‐effective and rapid processing of large‐area thin films in the photovoltaic industry has recently driven significant research interest. In this context, among the various approaches explored, printing devices, particularly perovskite solar cells (PSCs), have garnered considerable attention due to their potential for scalability and cost efficiency. Besides, solution printing is widely recognized as an appealing strategy for large‐area, cost‐effective, and high‐throughput production of PSCs. However, while substantial progress has been made in this process, challenges related to stability, uniformity, and scalability remain to be addressed. This review critically examines the key printing techniques and substrates employed in PSC fabrication. Then, given the significance of ambient air printing for industrial applications, fundamental challenges associated with achieving ambient air production of PSCs are discussed in detail. Moreover, the formulation strategies of perovskite ink in printing technologies are thoroughly explored, considering its crucial role in determining the performance and stability of printed PSCs. Finally, the printing process for various components of PSCs, including the perovskite absorber layer, charge transport layers (CTLs), and electrodes, is meticulously analyzed, highlighting current achievements and remaining hurdles. Integrating liquid metal (LM) particles into compliant polymers presents an innovative approach for developing intelligent and adaptable systems in stretchable electronics, wearable devices, soft robotics, and other emerging technologies. However, the inherent electrically insulative nature of these solid‐liquid composites, compounded by the gallium oxide shell surrounding LM droplets, poses a significant challenge in establishing conductive pathways, especially for small droplet sizes and ultrasoft elastomers. Here, an interface modification approach that addresses this bottleneck and enables the synthesis of highly stretchable and printable composites with LM microparticles (<2 µm) is presented. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) is used to functionalize these small LM inclusions, weakening the particle‐matrix interface, and facilitating the formation of a conductive percolating network under tensile strain. Optimized synthesis parameters result in printed conductive traces with excellent electrical conductivity (0.2 Ω cm−1), ultra‐high elongation at break (>900% strain), and minimal resistance change (≈131%). Furthermore, this comprehensive study of the electromechanical response of these stretchable conductors under various strain rates reveals their exceptional stability under dynamic loading conditions, surpassing the performance of conductive traces composed of sprayed liquid metal. Finally, the potential application of these multifunctional materials in stretchable circuitry, addressing the demand for high stretchability and stability in wearable electronics, is demonstrated. Inkjet is a versatile non‐contact printing technique that uses droplets of ink jetted from nozzles to print on a variety of substrates. Although some modern piezoelectric printheads support high viscosity fluids (>10 cP), they are currently expensive and may not be suited for many benchtop experiments in research environment. Here, the design, fabrication by 3D‐printing (no cleanroom processes or silicon micromachining are involved) and testing of a multi‐purpose single‐nozzle piezoelectric dispenser/printhead for medium‐viscosity fluids (10–60 cP) is reported. Custom control electronics are developed to drive the printhead. The design features a 200 μm diameter nozzle, suitable for nL drop generation with solutions containing nm sized particles, thus allowing the deposition of μm thick layers of functional inks in a single printing pass. The inkjet dispenser is first tested with glycerol solutions, resulting in drops of 1.9–3.6 nL with typical drop velocity of 0.5–1.3 m s−1. The developed piezoelectric dispensing system is then demonstrated in the printing of a two‐layer capacitive sensor, using silver nanoparticle ink (conductive ink) and a transparent encapsulant ink (dielectric ink). The reported piezoelectric dispenser design can be optimized for many research purposes, allowing the dispensing of functional chemicals, materials, and biomolecules. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Moisture is a double‐edged sword in the nucleation and crystallization of perovskite films. In the presence of appropriate moisture in the air, grain boundaries are expected to merge neighboring grains, promoting the conversion of unreacted ions, resulting in large grains and pinhole‐free films. Adversely, excessive moisture can have detrimental effects on perovskite by damaging its crystalline structure. Controlling humidity precisely and removing excessive moisture from the interface is crucial to the printing of high‐quality and reproducible films in the air, which will undoubtedly promote the rapid commercialization of perovskite solar cells. Here, a method for high‐yield printing of perovskite films is developed using interfacial moisture as a research object. The finite element simulation reveals that interfacial moisture is the key factor affecting the quality of perovskite film formation, regardless of the ambient moisture. The results show that when the interfacial humidity is in the range of 7%–25%, the films exhibit high‐quality crystallization. The devices produced by this method exhibit a yield of 92%, indicating a promising pathway to attain highly reproducible perovskite films with superior optoelectronic properties. This research examines the compatibility and performance of various solvents and binders in the battery cathode fabrication. The study focused on the applicability of solvents, including DMF, NMP, p‐Xylene, Ethanol, Toluene, Cyrene, and KJCMPA, in conjunction with binders such as PVDF #9300, PVDF #1100, HSV 1810, PVP, Oppanol N150, and Oppanol B15 for NMC‐based slurry formulation. Each solvent‐binder combination was evaluated with NMC material, and those demonstrating optimal solubility, adhesion, and film quality were selected for cathode screen‐printing trials. Results show that the combination of NMP solvent and HSV 1810 binder outperformed other pairings in cycling stability and capacity retention, achieving 87 % capacity retention after 1,000 1C/1C cycles. Comprehensive analyses using SEM, XRD, and FTIR offered insights into the structural and binder phase characteristics of the fabricated cathodes, especially the alterations in binder crystallinity phases (α, β, and γ). The data suggest that the use of the homopolymer HSV 1810, irrespective of the solvent, results in a pronounced presence of the γ‐phase within the binder, which subsequently improves battery performance. Mixed halide perovskite nanocrystals in the form of cesium/formamidinium lead triiodide ((Cs:FA)PbI3) offer great potential for efficient and stable solar cells. To date, large‐scale production with roll‐to‐roll compatible deposition methods remains difficult and requires detailed research on each involved processing step. Here, a proof‐of‐concept study about slot‐die coating (printing) the active layer of (Cs:FA)PbI3‐based nanocrystal solar cells is presented. Structural and morphological changes during ligand exchange of long‐chain oleic acid and oleylamine by Pb(NO3)2, and top‐layer FAI passivation are investigated. Ligand exchange improves the processability of the nanocrystal layer and enhances charge transport. It also changes texture from face‐on toward edge‐on orientation as grazing‐incidence X‐ray scattering studies indicate. Ligand exchange and FAI passivation redshift photoluminescence and prolong charge carrier lifetime in the printed nanocrystal films. The proof‐of‐concept feasibility of printing metal halide perovskite nanocrystal films for solar cells is shown by building 20 devices with a median power conversion efficiency of 6.39%. The challenge of three‐dimensional (3D) printing by polymeric extrusion in tissue bioengineering is to control with precision the microarchitecture and porous interconnectivity of scaffolds, as well as search for models that allow and facilitate the development of personalized constructs that meet optimal characteristics for the regeneration of significant bone defects. In this study, anatomically accurate scaffolds were designed and printed to a critical size defect from a microtomography image of the rat calvaria. Different software is used to design a scaffold with exact anatomy. With Ultimaker Cura software, distinct printing parameters were standardized, permitting the printing of different types of pores and graded porosity scaffolds, with exact adaptation to the bone defect, utilizing a commercial 3D printer with a fused deposition modeling technique and compensating for the limitations of the method. The scaffolds were characterized by evaluating their mechanical properties and surface characteristics (pore size and porosity), employing scanning electron microscopy images, verifying that the size and shape of the pores were controlled, and evaluating cell viability and cell distribution on the 3D printed scaffold. Therefore, this work proves that by standardizing the printing parameters, it was possible to print a unique customized scaffold, controlling the shape and size of pores. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Accurately assessing the color quality of printed products becomes intricate when optical brightening agents (OBAs) are introduced in papers, as diverse interactions occur among different ink pigments and papers containing OBAs due to variations in ink formulation chemistries. Specifically, alkali‐based pigments, commonly used as spot colors, are carefully formulated to ensure consistency across production batches. The presence of OBAs, which absorb ultraviolet light and emit it in the visible spectrum, significantly affects color perception and accuracy on paper when interacting with these inks. This research marks an initial investigation into how OBAs in paper influence the color accuracy of five distinct alkali‐based spot color paste inks using a Little Joe ink proofer. The research examines the physical, optical, and colorimetric characteristics of two paper samples‐one with OBA and one without‐ and analyzes the colorimetric changes occurring during the ink drying process. The results indicate that reflex blue, purple, and violet spot colors achieved acceptable delta E (ΔE00) value of below 3 on non‐OBA paper, with rubine red being on the borderline at 3.1 after 48 h. In contrast, purple, rhodamine red and violet achieved acceptable ΔE00 below 3 on high OBA paper. The distinct behavior exhibited by certain inks led to the conclusion that achieving a consistent proofing procedure across diverse alkali‐based ink formulations is impractical. Electronic textiles (e‐textiles) have emerged as a revolutionary solution for personalized healthcare, enabling the continuous collection and communication of diverse physiological parameters when seamlessly integrated with the human body. Among various methods employed to create wearable e‐textiles, printing offers unparalleled flexibility and comfort, seamlessly integrating wearables into garments. This has spurred growing research interest in printed e‐textiles, due to their vast design versatility, material options, fabrication techniques, and wide‐ranging applications. Here, a comprehensive overview of the crucial considerations in fabricating printed e‐textiles is provided, encompassing the selection of conductive materials and substrates, as well as the essential pre‐ and post‐treatments involved. Furthermore, the diverse printing techniques and the specific requirements are discussed, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each method. Additionally, the multitude of wearable applications made possible by printed e‐textiles is explored, such as their integration as various sensors, supercapacitors, and heated garments. Finally, a forward‐looking perspective is provided, discussing future prospects and emerging trends in the realm of printed wearable e‐textiles. As advancements in materials science, printing technologies, and design innovation continue to unfold, the transformative potential of printed e‐textiles in healthcare and beyond is poised to revolutionize the way wearable technology interacts and benefits. With the increased availability of three‐dimensional (3D) printers, innovative teaching and training materials have been created in medical fields. For pathology, the use of 3D printing has been largely limited to anatomic representations of disease processes or the development of supplies during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. Herein, an institution's 3D printing laboratory and staff with expertise in additive manufacturing illustrate how this can address design issues in cytopathology specimen collection and processing. The authors' institutional 3D printing laboratory, along with students and trainees, used computer‐aided design and 3D printers to iterate on design, create prototypes, and generate final usable materials using additive manufacturing. The program Microsoft Forms was used to solicit qualitative and quantitative feedback. The 3D‐printed models were created to assist with cytopreparation, rapid on‐site evaluation, and storage of materials in the preanalytical phase of processing. These parts provided better organization of materials for cytology specimen collection and staining, in addition to optimizing storage of specimens with multiple sized containers to optimize patient safety. The apparatus also allowed liquids to be stabilized in transport and removed faster at the time of rapid on‐site evaluation. Rectangular boxes were also created to optimally organize all components of a specimen in cytopreparation to simplify and expedite the processes of accessioning and processing, which can minimize errors. These practical applications of 3D printing in the cytopathology laboratory demonstrate the utility of the design and printing process on improving aspects of the workflow in cytopathology laboratories to maximize efficiency, organization, and patient safety. Novel and innovative ways to solve problems in the cytopathology laboratory are now possible with the increased access and decreased cost of three‐dimensional (3D) printers. A series of photosensitive zirconia ceramic slurry with adjustable viscosity and cured depth have been presented for the construction of high‐quality zirconia ceramic fabricated by digital light processing 3D printing. The rheological and curing behavior of the slurry can be flexibly optimized by tuning the reactive diluent concentration and category, since the change of dominant position of diluent on viscosity and the different curing mode. Monofunctional reactive diluent (HEA, hydroxyethyl acrylate) exhibits an enhanced dilution effect compared with that of bifunctional reactive diluent (HDDA, 1,6‐hexamethylene diacrylate) due to the lower molecular mass of monofunctional diluent. As a result, the viscosity reaches lower than 2000 mPa·s when the concentration of both HEA and HDDA exceeds 50 wt.%. At the same time, the non‐Newtonian properties of the slurry are also changed, which facilitates the printing process. However, excessive addition of diluent may generate more defects in ceramic green body. Consequently, the cured depth of zirconia slurry can reach 55 and 50 µm, respectively, at the curing time of 3 s while introducing the HEA or HDDA with the concentration below 70 wt.%, and the modified feedstock is promising for high‐quality and low‐defect zirconia ceramic components printing for biomedical applications. This article will be presented the stages of making a two‐component housing, for the protection and stability of a system that is implemented on an Arduino data acquisition and acquisition board. The housing has the actual body and cover, implicitly four inner pillars, which will present the stability in the housing of the system. A key consideration for the successful operation of hybrid energy systems will be the environmental stability of materials used for their construction, particularly when experiencing service environments containing water vapor at high temperatures. Here, we report results from the characterization of siliconized silicon carbide (Si‐SiC) prepared via binder jet additive manufacturing and reactive silicon melt infiltration after being exposed to environments representative of those in solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) anodes, and to exhaust gases inside a microturbine operating on natural gas. In both cases, it was found that oxide scales formed on the surface and that these scales were dense, continuous, and well‐bonded to the substrates, although there was evidence of transverse and longitudinal cracking most likely as a result of mismatches in the thermal expansion of the scale and the substrate. Measured values of the thickness of the oxide scale were compared to those predicted by parabolic oxidation kinetics of silicon, but the potential effects of silica volatilization induced by water vapor, and silica reduction when exposed to hydrogen are discussed. This study compared the efficacy of several passive ultrasonic irrigation (PUI) systems in removing intracanal medicament using 3‐dimensionally printed root canal model assembled with dentin specimen. After the placement of the model in the agar container (37°C), the intracanal medicament was removed using three different PUI instruments including CK file, Irrisafe and Endosonic Blue. Then, the area coated by the medicament and the volumetric percentage of the remaining medicament was measured. Irrisafe and Endosonic Blue showed higher removal efficacy than CK and the control regarding both the coated area and remaining volume (p < 0.05). CK showed the lowest efficacy among the tested PUI systems (p > 0.05). Notably, Endosonic Blue group showed the smallest coated area among the tested groups (p < 0.05). Conclusively, PUI systems made of nickel‐titanium alloy with small dimensions, such as Endosonic Blue, have advantages for the removal of intracanal medicaments from curved root canals. Wax printing is one of the most widely used techniques to print hydrophobic barriers on hydrophilic microfluidic paper‐based analytical devices (µPADs) based on its simplicity, speed, and low cost, allowing large‐scale production. Nonetheless, its function is just passive, without any action on fluids. Thus, this work proposes multifunctional hydrophobic composites based on conductive graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) integrated into the wax matrix to allow a dual role of barrier and heater, the latter being required in a large variety of temperature‐sensitive reactions and microfluidic applications. The effect of GNP weight content on the physicochemical properties of the wax, printed wax, and generated heating are evaluated. Wax prints with mechanical stability and adequate impregnation through the paper are obtained after post‐thermal curing. With respect to the functional response, controlled temperatures ranging from room temperature to ≈107 °C can be achieved after just 10 s. Two proofs of concept are presented involving thermochromic inks, specific printed systems designs, and low‐power batteries. The benefits of µPADs allied to the increased functionality and performance of the developed waxes, hold great promise to meet the requirements for a next generation of versatile, effective, and accurate µPADs for an increasing number of applications. The management of missing teeth as a result of dental trauma or associated with hypodontia in children and adolescents presents as a clinical challenge for the dental team. One of the options that is regaining popularity is dental autotransplantation. To improve autotransplantation outcomes, careful interdisciplinary planning, surgical simulation using cone beam computed tomography images and three‐dimensional‐printed teeth replicas should be undertaken for presurgical preparation. This case report showcases two applications of autotransplantation, with emphasis on interdisciplinary management, presurgical preparation and postsurgical orthodontic and aesthetic management to deliver a good long‐term, sustainable, biological outcome, as a part of a comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plan in children. The multiple quantum wells (QWs) distribution in low‐dimensional perovskite films hinders charge transport due to the fundamental difficulty of controlling crystal growth from precursor solutions, yielding poorly homogeneous low‐dimensional perovskite solar cells (PSCs), especially in upscaling fabrication. Here, efficient low‐dimensional PSCs are realized by modulating the colloidal assembly behavior in the precursor solution to induce intermediate structures. In combination with in situ liquid time‐of‐flight secondary ion mass spectrometry, the assembly behavior of organic cations involved lead iodide‐dominated colloidal soft framework is visualized by investigating the precursor species differences under hydrogen bonding interactions. Subsequently, solid‐state reactions emerge and the formamidine (FA)‐based perovskite films exhibit significantly suppressed multiple QWs distribution. Encouragingly, the FA device (n=9, by meniscus‐assisted coating) achieves a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 20.28 % for a size of 0.04 cm2 and a PCE of 15.35 % for a mini‐module of 16.94 cm2 with superior stability. The investigation of drying dynamics and kinetic quenching depth related degradation of high‐performance photoactive materials with scalable coating techniques demands significant research attention. Herein, film formation kinetics regulated crystallinity, preferential orientation and vertical phase separation of the active layers is revealed, which then further affects exciton diffusion, dissociation, charge‐transport and recombination processes. By suppressing over aggregation/crystallization in slow drying process and overcoming quenching of disordered liquid phase in fast‐dried films, the optimized PM6:BTP‐eC9‐based organic solar cells obtain power conversion efficiencies up to 16.81%. In addition, photoluminescence lifetime distribution is found to be an alternative probe for kinetic quenching depth that governs the degradation rate. This study provides valuable insights into the control of thin film formation kinetics during scalable processing and develops an effective way to associate the kinetic quenching depth with morphological degradation for mechanistic understanding of long‐term stability. Obtaining dense fine ceramics by the binder jetting additive manufacturing process is challenging. A slurry‐based binder jetting process, such as the layerwise slurry deposition (LSD‐print) process, can enable the printing of dense ceramic parts. This work describes a procedure to develop and qualify a suitable ink to manufacture silicon carbide green parts by LSD‐print. Not only the printability but also the compatibility of the ink with the powder bed and the effect of the binding agent on the properties of the green parts are considered. Both aspects are important to obtain high green strength, which is necessary for printing large or thin‐walled parts. Characterization methods, such as rheological and surface tension measurements, are applied to optimize three selected inks. The interplay between ink and powder bed is tested by contact angle measurements and by comparing the biaxial strength of cast and additively manufactured specimens. Out of the three binding agents tested, a polyethyleneimine and a phenolic resin have a high potential for their use in the LSD‐print of silicon carbide green bodies, whereas a polyacrylate binding agent did not show the required properties. Slot‐die coating is a promising upscaling fabrication method to promote commercialization in the field of organic solar cells. Herein, the nonfullerene active layer blend of a conjugated polymer PffBT4T‐2OD and a small molecule acceptor EH‐IDTBR, which is printed out of the nonhalogenated solvent 1,2,4‐trimethylbenzene, is studied. The film formation kinetics of the active layer PffBT4T‐2OD:EH‐IDTBR is probed in terms of the temporal evolutions in morphology as well as molecular conformation and aggregation as revealed by in situ grazing‐incidence small angle X‐ray scattering and UV–vis spectroscopy during the film printing process. A five‐regime mesoscale domain growth process is observed in the active layer from the liquid state to the final dry state. The solvent evaporation‐induced domain growth is accompanied with molecular stacking in a distinct J‐type aggregation of the acceptor and a slight H‐type aggregation of the donor molecules. The printed active layers exhibit an edge‐on dominated PffBT4T‐2OD and a face‐on dominated EH‐IDTBR crystallite structure. The formation of ƞ phase induced by the C‐loss for the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) of WC–Co cemented carbides largely deteriorates the fracture toughness. The current approach of mixing C additive into powder cannot mitigate the ƞ phase formation. This study proposed a new carbon compensation strategy of coating carbon resource on powder surface by fluidized bed chemical vapor deposition to address this issue. C nanoparticles and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) were selectively deposited on WC–Co powder to make uniform C‐ and CNTs‐coated powders by tuning the deposition temperature. Compared with CNTs‐coated powder and C–WC–Co powder mixtures, the C‐coated powder was more effective in impeding the ƞ phase formation because it had higher reactivity and stronger dissolution ability to compensate the C‐loss in the Co–W–C liquid. However, the single‐carbon compensation was not enough to eliminate the ƞ phase due to the extreme nonequilibrium characteristics of LPBF, which required secondary heat treatment. The conventional heat treatment procedure of 1000°C for 3 h eliminated the ƞ phase for the C‐coated powder but failed for the C–WC–12Co powder mixtures. Automated color measurement systems have become significant components of offset lithographic printing presses for better process control and reduced job waste. Some European press manufacturers are known to offer automated color measurement equipment that is confined to polarized density readings, which is uncommon in US. Introducing polarized densitometry into an environment where unpolarized densitometry is utilized can be problematic. Print professionals are on the lookout for a solution that is evidenced by a recent feature in a post from the IDEAlliance G7 Professionals forum seeking for a methodology to convert polarized to unpolarized readings. The present study applies the Bland–Altman method together with other statistical analyses to determine if a conversion between polarized and unpolarized densitometry can be established within a limited set of parameters. Three spectrodensitometers were used to record densitometric readings of wet and dry process inks on coated and uncoated drawdown proofs. The results showed that coated papers had significantly less variation between instruments compared to uncoated papers. Wet inks had more minor variations compared to dry inks. Furthermore, pure difference values and a Mann–Whitney U test indicated differences between unpolarized and polarized densitometric readings in all cases. Finally, t‐tests performed on the resulting difference data for both unpolarized versus polarized and unpolarized versus predicted polarized that showed fixed bias by means of the computed p‐values. Organic semiconductors are excellent candidates for X‐ray detectors that can adapt to new applications, with unique properties including mechanical flexibility and the ability to cover large surfaces. Their chemical composition, primarily carbon and hydrogen, makes them human tissue equivalent in terms of radiation absorption. This is a highly desirable property for a radiation dosimeter to be employed in medical diagnostics and therapy, however a low‐Z composition limits the absorption of ionizing radiation. The detection efficiency can be enhanced by considering the photoconductive gain (PG) effect, a significant contributor to the ionizing radiation detection mechanism in this class of materials. In this work, a process of controlled solution deposition by nozzle printing and crystallization of an organic semiconductor thin film is demonstrated whereby a flexible, arrayed thin‐film X‐ray detector with record X‐ray sensitivities among flexible radiation detectors (S = (9.0 ± 0.4) × 107 µC Gy−1 cm−3) is developed. The excitonic peaks responsible for the activation of the PG effect are investigated and identified using a novel technique called photocurrent spectroscopy optical quenching, and the analysis of the changes in trap states is further demonstrated. Adaptive optical performance based on convertible microstructures is very useful for information encryption. However, the facile patterning of microstructures in reliable manner and the unclonable coding are still major challenges. The direct 3D printing of water droplets is reported as templates to polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) precursor, followed by water evaporation in curing, which introduces convertible microcrease in the elastomeric matrix. The samples show optical response to liquids with the conversion of inner creases to ponds or cavities. The stochastic array of the resulted microstructures ensures the unclonability of the codes. Water‐responsive fluorescence emission is observed when a hydrosoluble dye is added to the microstructures, further enhancing the encryption safe level. Besides, the high stability of the PDMS matrix to ultraviolet irradiation and extreme temperature environment endows the material large application potentials in varied fields. Nano/microstructures of compound semiconductors such as gallium arsenide (GaAs) demonstrate enormous potential for advanced photonic technologies as they provide realistic means for miniaturization of optoelectronic devices that feature better performance and low power consumption. However, intimately integrating them onto flexible substrates is challenging and restricts their use in the next generation of applications such as wearables and soft robotics. Herein, printed arrays of well‐defined and laterally aligned semi‐insulating (undoped) and doped GaAs microstructures are presented to develop high‐performance flexible broadband photodetectors. The direct roll transfer printed GaAs microstructures‐based photodetectors exhibit excellent performance under ultraviolet and near‐infrared illumination, including ultrafast response (2.5 ms) and recovery (8 ms) times, high responsivity (>104 AW–1), detectivity (>1014 Jones), external quantum efficiency (>106), and photoconductive gain (>104) at low operating voltage of 1 V. The achieved performance is among the best reported for broadband photodetectors but with an added benefit of the developed devices having a flexible form factor. Further, the photodetectors show stable performance under mechanical bending (500 cycles) and twisting loading. The developed materials and manufacturing route can enable high‐speed communications and computation via high‐performance flexible electronics and optoelectronics and transform numerous emerging applications such as wearable systems and internet of things. Binder jetting is establishing more and more in the ceramic industry to produce large complex shaped parts. A parameter with a great impact on the quality of the parts is the binder–powder interaction. The use of ceramic slurries as feedstock for this process, such as in the layerwise slurry deposition–print technology, allows a great flexibility in the composition. Such slurries are typically composed of ceramic powder, water, and small amounts of various additives. The understanding of the effect of these components on the printing quality is thus essential for the feedstock development. Four models were developed regarding the impact of additives, such as dispersants on printing. These models were confirmed or rebutted by experiments performed for an SiC slurry system with two different concentrations of a dispersant and a commercial phenolic resin used as a binder. It is shown that for this system the influence of the dispersant on the curing behavior and the clogging of the pores by dispersant can be neglected. The redispersion of the dispersant after the curing of the resin has no or only a minor effect. However, the wetting behavior determined by the surface energies of the system seem to be most crucial. In case the surface energy of the slurry additive is significantly lower than the surface energy of the binder, the strength of the green parts and the printing quality will be low. The properties of 2D materials are unparalleled when compared to their 3D counterparts; many of these properties are a consequence of their size reduction to only a couple of atomic layers. Metallic, semiconducting, and insulating types can be found and form a platform for a new generation of devices. Among the possible methods to utilize 2D materials, functional printing has emerged as a strong contender because inks can be directly formulated from dispersions obtained by liquid‐phase exfoliation. Printed graphene‐based devices are shifting from laboratory applications toward real‐world and mass‐producible systems going hand in hand with a good understanding of suitable exfoliation methods for the targeted type of ink. Such a clear picture does not yet exist for hexagonal boron nitride (h‐BN), the transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs), and black phosphorous (BP). Rather, reports of applications of these 2D materials in printed devices are scattered throughout the literature, not yet adding to a comprehensive and full understanding of the relevant parameters. This perspective starts with a summary of the most important features of inks from exfoliated graphene. The oils and solvents are the main components of the printing ink, and the chemical composition of the ink could be harmful or toxic to human health and the environment. Therefore, there is an increasing demand to develop inks containing green, biobased, sustainable, and renewable raw materials instead of petrochemical substances. In this study, flaxseed oil (FO), pomegranate seed oil, plum kernel oil (PKO), and grape seed oil (GSO) were selected to produce offset printing inks. Pinus pinaster (P. pinaster) resin was also used in the formulation of inks to examine the effects of natural resin on ink together with vegetable oils. The phenolic content was analyzed for the resin and oils to figure out their potential antioxidant and bioactive characteristics. Optical and rheological tests were applied to evaluate the printability of the inks. L*a*b*, ΔE, density, and gloss tests were performed for optical evaluation. The viscosity, tack, and rub resistance tests were applied to perform rheological analysis. The biobased, environmental friendly, and self‐drying (cold set) offset printing inks were obtained using natural pine resin and three different plant‐based oils FO, PKO, and GSO. Near‐infrared (NIR) photodetectors can be fabricated for various applications, such as imaging, military tracking, and medical diagnosis. However, achieving miniaturization and high responsivity for NIR photodetector arrays is still a challenge. In this study, a high‐density NIR photodetector array with a micro/nano chalcogenide and silver nanoparticle heterostructure is achieved using a low‐cost printing strategy. The Ag/Ge2Sb2Te5(GST)/Ag heterostructure is fabricated using a template‐assisted sequential printing strategy. At an absorption wavelength of λ = 980 nm, the NIR photodetector has a high light responsivity of 6.7 × 104 A W−1 owing to the high crystallinity of the GST microwire and refined GST/Ag heterointerface during the printing process. In addition, the sensing pixel interval can be reduced to 25 µm, corresponding to the highest resolution of NIR photodetectors achieved thus far (resolution: 1.0 × 103 dpi). In addition, the NIR photodetector printed on soft substrates exhibits flexibility. To realize the commercialization of nonfullerene acceptor‐based efficient organic solar cells, a low‐cost and indium‐tin‐oxide‐free (ITO‐free) flexible electrode‐based module that can be produced by roll‐to‐roll production should be developed. However, the low surface energy of ITO‐free electrodes hinders the formation of a uniform charge transport layer through solution processing; this is the main cause of the efficiency drop. Herein, the realization of a highly uniform ZnO bilayer on an ultrathin Ag film‐based transparent electrode that is suitable for flexible substrates and large‐area organic photovoltaic (OPV) module fabrication is demonstrated. Based on the sputtered ZnO and blade‐coated ZnO nanoparticle‐based electron transport bilayer, large OPV module areas of 528.5 and 108 cm2 with high efficiencies of 7.67% and 9.15%, respectively, are achieved. Transparent microelectrodes that facilitate simultaneous optical and electrophysiological interfacing are desirable tools for neuroscience. Electrodes made from transparent conductors such as graphene and indium tin oxide (ITO) show promise but are often limited by poor charge‐transfer properties. Herein, microelectrodes are demonstrated that take advantage of the transparency and volumetric capacitance of poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene) polystyrene sulfonate (PEDOT:PSS). Ring‐shaped microelectrodes are fabricated by inkjet‐printing PEDOT:PSS, encapsulating with Parylene C, and then exposing a contact site that is much smaller than the microelectrode outer diameter. This unique structure allows the encapsulated portion of the microelectrode volume surrounding the contact site to participate in signal transduction, which reduces impedance and enhances charge storage capacity. While using the same 100 μm diameter contact site, increasing the outer diameter of the encapsulated electrode from 300 to 550 μm reduces the impedance from 294 ± 21 to 98 ± 2 kΩ, respectively, at 1 Hz. Similarly, the charge storage capacity is enhanced from 6 to 21 mC cm−2. The PEDOT:PSS microelectrodes provide a low‐haze, high‐transmittance optical interface, demonstrating their suitability for optical neuroscience applications. Just over a decade, perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have been emerged as a next-generation photovoltaic technology due to their skyrocketing power conversion efficiency (PCE), low cost, and easy manufacturing techniques compared to Si solar cells. Several methods and procedures have been developed to fabricate high-quality perovskite films to improve the scalability and commercialize PSCs. Recently, several printing technologies such as blade-coating, slot-die coating, spray coating, flexographic printing, gravure printing, screen printing, and inkjet printing have been found to be very effective in controlling film formation and improving the PCE of over 21%. This review summarizes the intensive research efforts given for these printing techniques to scale up the perovskite films as well as the hole transport layer (HTL), the electron transport layer (ETL), and electrodes for PSCs. In the end, this review presents a description of the future research scope to overcome the challenges being faced in the printing techniques for the commercialization of PSCs. Flexographic printing is promising for large‐area electronics due to high print‐speed and roll‐to‐roll capability. There have been recent attempts in using graphene as an active pigment in inks, most notably for slower techniques such as inkjet and screen printing. However, formulation of graphene‐enhanced inks for high‐speed printing and its effect on key metrics have never been investigated. Herein, graphene nanoplatelets (GPs) are incorporated to a conductive flexographic ink without compromising the rheological properties. An industrial scale at 100 m min−1 is printed on paper and polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates using a commercial flexographic press, and statistical performance variations are investigated across entire print runs. It is shown that GP‐incorporation improves sheet‐resistance (Rs) and uniformity, with up to 54% improvement in average Rs and 45% improvement in the standard‐deviation on PET. The adhesion on both the substrates improves with GP‐incorporation, as verified by tape/crosshatch tests. The durability of GP‐enhanced samples is probed with a 1000 cyclic bend‐test, with 0.31% average variation in resistance in the flat state on PET between the first and last 100 bends, exhibiting a robust print. The statistically scalable results show that GP‐incorporation offers a cost‐performance advantage for flexographic printing of large‐area conductive patterns without modifications to traditional high‐speed graphics printing presses. A wearable thermoelectric generator (WTEG) that utilizes human body heat can be a promising candidate for the wearable power generators. The temperature difference (ΔT) between the body and the environment is a stable source driving the WTEG, but this driving force is limited by the ambient temperature itself at the same time. Here, a novel WTEG that can be operated using the dual source of body heat and light with exceptionally high driving force is fabricated. The printable solar absorbing layer attached to the bottom of the WTEG absorbs ≈95% of the light from ultraviolet to far infrared and converts it into heat. To optimize the power density of WTEGs, the fill factor of the thermoelectric (TE) leg/electrode is considered through finite‐difference time‐domain (FDTD) simulation. When operated by the dual sources, the WTEG exhibits a power density of 15.33 µW cm−2, which is the highest under "actual operating conditions" among all kinds of WTEGs. In addition, unlike conventional WTEGs, the WTEG retains 83.1% of its output power at an ambient temperature of 35 °C compared to its output power at room temperature. The scattering light from single nanoparticle has the size‐dependent characteristics of wavelength and intensity variation, allowing for optically detecting nanoscale virus. By comparing optical images before and after attaching viruses, quantitative detection can be achieved with the virus concentrations from 1.0 × 102 to 1.0 × 106 PFU mL–1 and a detection limit of 1.0 × 102 PFU mL–1. Detectors with the ability of 3D space exploration greatly promote sensing performance for artificial intelligence, automatic drive, etc. Current photodetectors for spatial angle detection are usually composed of planar stacked light‐sensing elements on the bulky 3D configuration. To meet the miniaturization and integration of intelligent systems, it is critical to break the obstacle between chip‐level architecture and spatial recognition function. Here, a chip‐level circular facade photodetector for 3D space exploration is demonstrated. The template used in the miniature solid‐shaping strategy guides the photosensitive materials patterning into 3D circular configuration, which divides the space into equal subdivisions. The multi‐directional light‐coupling interaction from the circular structure and the wider light–matter resonance from the self‐standing facade endow the 3D photodetectors with the capability of wide detection range (horizontal: 360°; vertical: 60°) and high detection accuracy (99.6%). Novel inks were formulated by dissolving polycaprolactone (PCL), a hydrophobic polymer, in organic solvent systems; polyethylene oxide (PEO) was incorporated to extend the range of hydrophilicity of the system. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) with a weight ratio of 55–85% was added to the polymer‐based solution to mimic the material composition of natural bone tissue. The direct ink writing (DIW) technique was applied to extrude the formulated inks to fabricate the predesigned tissue scaffold structures; the influence of HAp concentration was investigated. The results indicate that in comparison to other inks containing HAp (55%, 75%, and 85%w/w), the ink containing 65% w/w HAp had faster ink recovery behavior; the fabricated scaffold had a rougher surface as well as better mechanical properties and wettability. It is noted that the 65% w/w HAp concentration is similar to the inorganic composition of natural bone tissue. The elastic modulus values of PCL/PEO/HAp scaffolds were in the range of 4–12 MPa; the values were dependent on the HAp concentration. Furthermore, vancomycin as a model drug was successfully encapsulated in the PCL/PEO/HAp composite scaffold for drug release applications. Organic photodetectors (OPDs) are promising for applications in flexible electronics due to their advantages of excellent photodetection performance, cost‐effective solution‐fabrication capability, flexible device design, and adaptivity to manufacturability. This review outlines the recent advances in the development of high‐performance OPDs and their applications in flexible electronics. The approaches to developing different noise reduction methods, filter‐free spectral selective detection, flexible OPDs, and scale‐up production of flexible OPDs through solution‐fabrication processes are discussed. Applications of the OPD technology ultimately result in the materialization of wearable units, flexible and compact information sensors at commercially viable costs, including wearable health self‐monitoring devices, flexible optical communication systems, and flexible large‐area image sensors. Ion‐gated transistors (IGTs) are extensively used in chemo‐ and bio‐sensors as well as intelligent sensors, that is, with neuromorphic computing functionality, exploiting their ion to electron convertibility. Metal oxides are attractive as active channel materials in IGTs because of their low‐temperature solution processability, ambient stability, and tunable optoelectronic properties. SnO2 is a low‐cost material widely used in thin‐film transistors, gas sensors, and transparent electrodes. In this work, films of crystalline SnO2 nanorods are prepared on flexible substrates using a controlled aqueous growth technique, at 95 °C. The top contact source and drain metal contacts were patterned by either photolithography or printing. The transistor behavior of SnO2 nanorod films gated with different gating media, such as room‐temperature ionic liquids, in inert atmosphere, and aqueous saline solutions, in ambient air are studied. In addition, the transistor behavior of SnO2 IGTs in the original flat and tensile bending state are also studied. The earth abundance of tin oxide, the low energy consumption fabrication process by low‐temperature solution processing and printing, as well as, the use of an aqueous electrolyte for the gating medium make our devices extremely promising for green and sustainable electronics. Within the efforts of developing a new generation of biomedical electrodes with embedded switching logics, developing safe and simple procedures for testing these novel systems is tackled. The development and demonstration of an all‐printed flexible testbed for automated validation and testing of multi pad systems is presented. The system is based on a Human model equivalent circuit (HMEC), which, when connected to the electrical stimulation system, mirrors the electrical behavior of biomedical electrodes and their specific interface material as if they are placed on a human subject. A simulation model of the electrical stimulation system components was developed based on the experimental data, in order to optimize printed electronic components' characteristics and design. The testbed is composed of five layers of different conductive and dielectric materials screen‐printed on a flexible poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) substrate. The system was prototyped with the characteristic values of the HMEC matching the average experimental data acquired from human subjects. Thus, it is demonstrated that an all printed flexible HMEC is a feasible approach to enabling the functional testing of transcutaneous electrical stimulation devices required for their fabrication, evaluation and optimization, reducing the need for tests on human subjects in the development phase of new systems. The development of magnetic hybrid films containing diblock copolymers (DBCs) and magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) by printing is a highly promising method for scalable and low‐cost fabrication. During printing, the drying and arrangement kinetics of the DBC and magnetic NPs play an important role in the film formation concerning morphology and magnetic properties. In this study, the morphology evolution of ultrahigh molecular weight DBC polystyrene‐block‐poly(methyl methacrylate) and magnetic iron platinum (FePt) NPs is investigated with grazing‐incidence small‐angle X‐ray scattering (GISAXS) in situ during printing. For comparison, a pure DBC film is printed without FePt NPs under the same conditions. The GISAXS data suggest that the addition of NPs accelerates the solvent evaporation, leading to a faster film formation of the hybrid film compared to the pure film. As the solvent is almost evaporated, a metastable state is observed in both films. Compared with the pure film, such a metastable state continues longer during the printing process of the hybrid film because of the presence of FePt NPs, which inhibits the reorganization of the DBC chains. Moreover, investigations of the field‐dependent magnetization and temperature‐dependent susceptibility indicate that the printed hybrid film is superparamagnetic, which makes this film class promising for magnetic sensors. Homogeneity and stability of flexible perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are significant for the commercial feasibility in upscaling fabrication. Concretely, the mismatching between bottom interface and perovskite precursor ink can cause uncontrollable crystallization and undesired dangling bonds during the printing process. Herein, methylammonium acetate, serving as ink assistant (IAS) can effectively avoid the micron‐scale defects of perovskite film. The in situ optical microscope is applied to prove the IAS can inhibit the colloidal aggregation and induce more adequate crystallization growth, thus avoiding the micron‐scale defects of pinholes and intergranular cracking. Concurrently, 4‐chlorobenzenesulfonic acid is introduced into the electrode surface as a passivation layer to restore the deep traps at perovskite interface in nano‐scale. Finally, the target flexible devices (1.01 cm2) deliver a superior efficiency of 18.12% with improved air atmosphere stability. Cooperative self‐assembly (co‐assembly) of diblock copolymers (DBCs) and inorganic precursors that takes inspiration from the rich phase separation behavior of DBCs can enable the realization of a broad spectrum of functional nanostructures with the desired sizes. In a DBC assisted sol–gel chemistry approach with polystyrene‐block‐poly(ethylene oxide) and ZnO, hybrid films are formed with slot‐die coating. Pure DBC films are printed as control. In situ grazing‐incidence small‐angle X‐ray scattering measurements are performed to investigate the self‐assembly and co‐assembly process during the film formation. Combining complementary ex situ characterizations, several distinct regimes are differentiated to describe the morphological transformations from the initially solvent‐dispersed to the ultimately solidified films. The comparison of the assembly pathway evidences that the key step in the establishment of the pure DBC film is the coalescence of spherical micelles toward cylindrical domains. Due to the presence of the phase‐selective precursor, the formation of cylindrical aggregates in the solution is crucial for the structural development of the hybrid film. The pre‐existing cylinders in the ink impede the domain growth of the hybrid film during the subsequent drying process. The precursor reduces the degree of order, prevents crystallization of the PEO block, and introduces additional length scales in the hybrid films. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Compared with inorganic long‐lasting luminescent materials, organic room temperature phosphorescent (RTP) ones show several advantages, such as flexibility, transparency, solubility and color adjustability. However, organic RTP materials close to commercialization are still to be developed. In this work, we developed a new host–guest doping system with stimulus‐responsive RTP characteristics, in which triphenylphosphine oxide (OPph3) acted host and benzo(dibenzo)phenothiazine dioxide derivatives as guests. Turn‐on RTP effect was realized by mixing them together through co‐crystallization or grinding, in which the efficient energy transfer from host to guest and the strong intersystem crossing (ISC) ability of the guest have played significant role. Further on, multistage stimulus‐responsive RTP characteristics from grinding to chemical stimulus were achieved via introducing pyridine group into the guest molecule. In addition, the anti‐counterfeiting printings were realized for these materials through various methods, including stylus printing, thermal printing and inkjet printing, which brings RTP materials closer to commercialization.
