This study found that most dermatologists believe that teledermatology has become more prevalent in their practices, though the magnitude of its adaption may vary. Dear Editor, During the COVID-19 pandemic, dermatology practices were forced to rapidly adopt teledermatology to continue patient care while minimizing in-person contact.1 During the summer of 2020, several studies described dermatologists' perceptions of teledermatology, including ease of use, quality, and barriers to implementation.2,3 This study serves as an update to prior research by examining the evolution of perceptions of teledermatology among dermatologists in 2021, a year after its expanded use. When asked to predict future teledermatology usage, dermatologists' estimations did not differ across U.S. regions ( I P i = 0.403) or years in practice ( I P i = 0.119) but again did vary significantly based on practice setting ( I P i = 0.019, Cramer's I V i = 0.140) (Fig. [Extracted from the article]
