The functional group in the molecular chain of lubricants is a key factor for a boundary lubricating film, which can further enhance the friction performance by interfacial tribochemistry. In this paper, the tribological behavior of epoxy/graphene (EP/Gra) composites was investigated through varying lubrication conditions, including dry friction, or different lubricants (such as water, hexadecane, oleylamine, and oleic acid). The porosity and Shore hardness (SHD) of the EP composites were significantly improved by the addition of graphene. Results showed that the porosity of the EP/0.75 wt.% Gra composites was reduced by 75.6% and their SHD increased by 5.4 compared with the EP/0.05 wt.% Gra composites. The average coefficient of friction (COF) of the composites was reduced by at least 27.3% under dry friction conditions. For water as lubricant, the EP/0.5 wt.% Gra composite exhibited the lowest COF (0.0455). The EP/0.75 wt.% Gra composite displayed the lowest COF (0.0466) when hexadecane acted as lubricant. By contrast, EP/0.05 wt.% Gra showed the lowest COF (0.0389) with oleylamine as lubricant, and the EP/0.25 wt.% Gra composites gave the lowest COF (0.0433) under oleic acid. The amine group of oleylamine reacted with the EP group to form a hydroxyl group, resulting in a polymer with low friction adhered to the friction interface. Simultaneously, the EP group reacted with the carboxyl group, forming a network of hydrogen bonds with graphene, which reduced the shear stress on the friction interface. Therefore, the functional groups of lubricants have a vital influence on the tribological properties of frictional composites, which may provide a new approach to solving the problem of wear. Background and Purpose: Sevoflurane, a commonly used inhaled anaesthetic known for its favourable safety profile and rapid onset and offset, has not been thoroughly investigated as a potential treatment for depression. In this study, we reveal the mechanism through which sevoflurane delivers enduring antidepressant effects. Experimental Approach: To assess the antidepressant effects of sevoflurane, behavioural tests were conducted, along with in vitro and ex vivo whole‐cell patch‐clamp recordings, to examine the effects on GluN1–GluN2 incorporated N‐methyl‐d‐aspartate (NMDA) receptors (NMDARs) and neuronal circuitry in the medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC). Multiple‐channel electrophysiology in freely moving mice was performed to evaluate sevoflurane's effects on neuronal activity, and GluN2D knockout (grin2d−/−) mice were used to confirm the requirement of GluN2D for the antidepressant effects. Key Results: Repeated exposure to subanaesthetic doses of sevoflurane produced sustained antidepressant effects lasting up to 2 weeks. Sevoflurane preferentially inhibited GluN2C‐ and GluN2D‐containing NMDARs, causing a reduction in interneuron activity. In contrast, sevoflurane increased action potentials (AP) firing and decreased spontaneous inhibitory postsynaptic current (sIPSC) in mPFC pyramidal neurons, demonstrating a disinhibitory effect. These effects were absent in grin2d−/− mice, and both pharmacological blockade and genetic knockout of GluN2D abolished sevoflurane's antidepressant actions, suggesting that GluN2D is essential for its antidepressant effect. Conclusion and Implications: Sevoflurane directly targets GluN2D, leading to a specific decrease in interneuron activity and subsequent disinhibition of pyramidal neurons, which may underpin its antidepressant effects. Integrative analysis has emerged as a prominent tool in biomedical research, offering a solution to the "small n$$ n $$ and large p$$ p $$" challenge. Leveraging the powerful capabilities of deep learning in extracting complex relationship between genes and diseases, our objective in this study is to incorporate deep learning into the framework of integrative analysis. Recognizing the redundancy within candidate features, we introduce a dedicated feature selection layer in the proposed integrative deep learning method. To further improve the performance of feature selection, the rich previous researches are utilized by an ensemble learning method to identify "prior information". This leads to the proposed prior assisted integrative deep learning (PANDA) method. We demonstrate the superiority of the PANDA method through a series of simulation studies, showing its clear advantages over competing approaches in both feature selection and outcome prediction. To improve the interfacial bonding between hollow microspheres (RiM01) and natural rubber (NR), the silane coupling agents γ‐aminopropyltriethoxysilane (KH550) and γ‐methacryloyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (KH570) are used in this study as intermediate reaction platforms for the modification of (RiM01) with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA), respectively. In the process, GMA reacts with KH550 and KH570 through epoxy group ring‐opening and free radical polymerization, respectively. Different NR/RiM01@GMA composites are prepared by a mechanical blending method. The results show that the addition of GMA improves the interfacial bonding between RiM01 and NR, and enhances the vulcanization rate and cross‐linking degree of the rubber composites. When KH550 is used as the reaction platform, the tensile strength of the rubber composites increases by 24% compared to composites with unmodified RiM01, while when KH570 is used, the tensile strength increases by 18%. Additionally, the tear strength and abrasion resistance of the rubber composites increase by 13% and 15%, respectively, when KH570 is used as the reaction platform. At the same time, the filler‐matrix interaction is strongest when KH570 is used as the reaction platform, and the rubber composites exhibit the lowest rolling resistance and the best resistance to heat and oxygen aging. The repair and regeneration of cartilage is a challenge for scientists and clinical surgery. Achieving cell adhesion and regeneration, anti‐inflammatory, lubrication, targeted drug delivery and controlled release simultaneously in cartilage treatment are the goals of researchers. Polymer composites and hybrids have the potential to realize above functions in cartilage tissue engineering. This review refers to cartilage injuries, current clinical techniques, and their benefits and limitations, focusing on the most relevant and state of art of advanced polymers for cartilage tissue engineering. The frontier applications of multifunctional polymer composites and hybrids in cartilage tissue engineering are discussed in depth, including polymer scaffold, polymer bio‐lubricant, and zwitterionic polymer for drug delivery and sustained drug release. A summary of comprehensive properties of polymers such as processability, mechanical properties, biocompatibility, biodegradability, hydrophilicity, cytotoxicity, etc., and their mechanisms are analyzed. Furthermore, some key challenges and outstanding concerns on polymer‐based materials for cartilage tissue engineering are presented followed by future perspectives. Conjugative dissemination of mobile genetic elements (MGEs) among bacteria is initiated by assembly of the relaxosome at the MGE's origin‐of‐transfer (oriT) sequence. A critical but poorly defined step of relaxosome assembly involves recruitment of the catalytic relaxase to its DNA strand‐specific nicking site within oriT. Here, we present evidence by AlphaFold modeling, affinity pulldowns, and in vivo site‐directed photocrosslinking that the TraK Ribbon–Helix–Helix DNA‐binding protein recruits TraI to oriT through a dynamic interaction in which TraI's C‐terminal unstructured domain (TraICTD) wraps around TraK's C‐proximal tetramerization domain. Upon relaxosome assembly, conformational changes disrupt this contact, and TraICTD instead self‐associates as a prerequisite for relaxase catalytic functions or substrate engagement with the transfer channel. Machine learning has gained attention due to its ongoing advancements and diverse applications. Within the field of homogeneous catalysis, a prominent area of research in machine learning revolves around predicting reaction yield in Pd‐catalyzed Buchwald–Hartwig amination reactions. This study sought to determine the optimal descriptors for representing the both structural and physical information associated with the reaction, particularly focusing on product details. To achieve this, we assessed the utilization of product extended molecular fingerprints (PEMF) and selected physical parameters (SPP). The utilization of a random forest model incorporating these descriptors yielded promising results in the prediction of reaction yields in Pd‐catalyzed Buchwald–Hartwig amination reactions. The model achieved an impressive R2 value of 0.943. Data preprocessing on PEMF and sorting preprocessing on physical parameters resulted in a significant reduction in data size to 259 bits PEMF+2 SPPs per prediction, much less than the two previous random forest models which utilized 480 physical parameters and 21,073 bits molecular fingerprints. Although establishing definitive correlations between SPPs and reaction yield presented challenges, our findings indicate that the presence of heavier atoms in the aryl halides may have a beneficial impact within the examined Pd‐catalyzed Buchwald–Hartwig amination reactions, as compared to their analogues. Comprehensive Summary To address the stereoselective synthesis challenge in π‐stacked grids with four chiral centers, we utilized coplanar and highly rigid 11,12‐dihydroindeno[2,1‐a]fluorene‐11,12‐diol and 2,2'‐bithiophene as synthons, employing Friedel‐Crafts gridization (FCG). Leveraging the supramolecular interactions of S···S and π···π within the thiophene moiety, along with the steric effect of the 11,12‐dihydroindeno[2,1‐a]fluorene scaffold, we successfully achieved the exclusive generation of a single isomer of Ladder‐type π‐stacked grids (LGs‐IF) containing six theoretical isomers. By subsequently substituting 2,2'‐bithiophene with thiophene/bithiophene derivatives as synthons, we maintained an exceptionally high level of stereoselectivity. Anthelmintics are drugs used for controlling pathogenic helminths in animals and plants. The natural compound betaine and the recently developed synthetic compound monepantel are both anthelmintics that target the acetylcholine receptor ACR-23 and its homologs in nematodes. Here, we present cryo-electron microscopy structures of ACR-23 in apo, betaine-bound, and betaine- and monepantel-bound states. We show that ACR-23 forms a homo-pentameric channel, similar to some other pentameric ligand-gated ion channels (pLGICs). While betaine molecules are bound to the classical neurotransmitter sites in the inter-subunit interfaces in the extracellular domain, monepantel molecules are bound to allosteric sites formed in the inter-subunit interfaces in the transmembrane domain of the receptor. Although the pore remains closed in betaine-bound state, monepantel binding results in an open channel by wedging into the cleft between the transmembrane domains of two neighboring subunits, which causes dilation of the ion conduction pore. By combining structural analyses with site-directed mutagenesis, electrophysiology and in vivo locomotion assays, we provide insights into the mechanism of action of the anthelmintics monepantel and betaine. Synopsis: The anthelmintics monepantel and betaine target acetylcholine receptor like-23 (ACR-23) of the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans. This study investigated the corrosion and tribocorrosion behavior of CrN and CrAlN coatings deposited on steel through direct current magnetron sputtering. Additionally, the effects of Al addition on the microstructure, corrosion inhibition, and tribocorrosion behavior of CrN coatings were evaluated. Compared with the CrN coating, the CrAlN coating exhibited a denser columnar crystal structure and a higher hardness of 23.8 GPa. The CrAlN coating reacted with water to form Al2O3 and Cr2O3 films, which enhanced its corrosion resistance. Moreover, the addition of Al enhanced the wear resistance of the CrN coating and reduced the material loss due to corrosion, wear, and their synergistic effects. The CrAlN coating exhibited a low corrosion current density of 1.14 × 10−8 A/cm2, indicating a 92% reduction compared with the CrN coating. Furthermore, under either open circuit potential or anodic accelerated tribocorrosion conditions, the CrAlN coating featured significantly lower total material loss and synergistic material loss than the CrN coating, demonstrating higher corrosion and tribocorrosion protection. Summary: Alpha‐lactalbumin (α‐LA) is one of the allergens in cow's milk. Glycation modifications can be used to modulate the allergenicity of α‐LA and to clarify the effects of glycation of three reducing sugars (D‐fructose, D‐ribose, and D‐xylose) on the structure and immunoglobulin G (IgG)‐binding capacity of α‐LA. In this study, the colorimetric and spectroscopic methods reflect the degree of glycation. The structural properties of the glycation products were characterised using spectroscopic and chromatographic methods. The IgG‐binding capacity was determined by an indirect competitive enzyme‐linked immunosorbent assay. The results showed a decrease in free amino groups content, an increase in molecular weight. The α‐helix content was reduced, but the β‐sheet and irregular coil content increased, resulting in a more loosened protein structure. All three reducing sugar glycation products had higher IgG‐binding capacity, suggesting that glycation has the potential to enhance α‐LA allergenicity. Ceramics can be traditionally classified as structural and functional ones. However, the miniaturization and multi‐functionalization of various devices require ceramics to have both structural and functional properties. In this work, we aimed to develop structure‐function integrated ZrO2–SiO2 nanocrystalline glass–ceramics (NCGCs) by in situ formation of homogenously distributed amorphous carbon. By reducing the calcination temperature of carbon‐containing powder, organic carbon groups were partially retained in the powder and they transformed to amorphous carbon in the sintered NCGCs. At micrometer scale, the carbon was homogenously distributed in the NCGCs, avoiding the commonly encountered agglomeration problem of carbon fillers. The effects of carbon on the microstructure, mechanical properties, wear resistance, and dielectric properties of the NCGCs were investigated. Results showed that the in situ formed amorphous carbon was homogenously distributed in the ZrO2 nanocrystallites. Meanwhile, the amorphous carbon strongly bonded with the ZrO2–SiO2 NCGCs. Only a small amount of carbon was combusted even after annealing at 1000°C for 3 h. The formation of amorphous carbon led to an improvement of nanohardness and wear resistance of the NCGCs, while slightly reducing Young's modulus and flexural strength. The electromagnetic wave transmission performances were improved due to the formation of amorphous carbon. The current study paves a new way for developing structure‐function integrated glass–ceramics through in situ formation of carbon. Background: Pneumonia has a high incidence in traumatic brain injury (TBI) patients and lacks effective treatments. Early mobilization (EM) may be a potentially effective treatment. Aim: To explore the impact of EM on TBI‐related pneumonia in the neurosurgical intensive care unit (NICU). Study Design: This study was a historical control study. 100 TBI patients who received EM intervention were prospectively included as the experimental group (EM cohort), and 250 TBI patients were retrospectively included as the control group. The propensity score matching (PSM) method was employed to balance baseline and minimize potential bias. The relationship between EM and TBI‐related pneumonia was investigated by univariate and multivariate logistic regression, then further determined by subgroup analysis. The influence of other variables was excluded by interaction analyses. Finally, the effect of EM on the prognosis of TBI patients was analysed by comparing the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and the hospital stay. Results: After screening, 86 patients were included in the EM cohort and 199 patients were included in the control cohort. There were obvious differences between the two cohorts at baseline, and these differences were eliminated after PSM, when the incidence of pneumonia was significantly lower in the EM cohort than in the control cohort (35.0% vs. 61.9%, p <.001). Multivariate logistic regression showed that EM was an independent risk factor for TBI‐related pneumonia and was significantly associated with a decreased incidence of pneumonia. This correlation was present in most subgroups and was not affected by other variables (p for interaction >.05). Patients in the EM cohort had shorter length of ICU stay (6 vs. 7 days, p =.017) and higher GCS at discharge (12 vs. 11, p =.010). Conclusion: EM is a safe and effective treatment for TBI patients in NICU, which can reduce the incidence of pneumonia, help to improve prognosis and shorten the length of ICU stay. Relevance to Clinical Practice: Although the utilization rate of EM is low in TBI patients for various reasons, EM is still an effective method to prevent complications. Our study confirms that a scientific and detailed EM strategy can effectively reduce the incidence of pneumonia while ensuring the safety of TBI patients, which is worthy of further research and clinical application. Zinc‐based sorbents with ordered mesoporous structure were modified with aluminium and the key factors in the preparation were optimized based on the results of desulphurization tests performed in a fixed‐bed reactor with simulated coal gas. It was shown that the sorbents for hydrogen sulphide removal reached an optimum sulphur capacity of 9.14% when prepared under conditions of 10.0 crystalline pH, 30:1 Si:Al molar ratio, 0.32:1 Zn:Si molar ratio, and 1:3 Zn:TAA molar ratio. The sorbent without aluminium was synthesized synchronously as a comparison sample to investigate the effect of aluminium addition on the desulphurization properties. The surface acidity of the sorbents is enhanced by the addition of aluminium, and the sulphur capacity of the aluminium‐doped sorbent is consequently lower compared to that of aluminium‐free sorbent. Nevertheless, the aluminium‐doped sorbent shows a significant advantage in stability of performance over multiple desulphurization–regeneration cycles and reaches an 81% retention rate of sulphur capacity after five desulphurization, while the aluminium‐free sorbent is only 51% in contrast. The characterization results manifest that aluminium enters the carrier skeleton and increases the wall thickness, which alleviates the collapse of the carrier pore channels and the agglomeration of the active components during the desulphurization process. Stable pore structures and highly dispersed active components facilitate the mass transfer in the reaction process after multiple desulphurization. A high‐power white laser source is prepared by using a 455 nm blue laser to excite YAG:Ce ceramics. To achieve high‐power output, a water‐cooling device is used to reduce the operating temperature of ceramics. The luminescence properties of laser‐excited phosphor ceramics are studied under different blue excitation power and different irradiation time. The experimental results show that the luminous flux of phosphor ceramics excited by the blue laser increases linearly with the increase of blue laser power, depending on the heat dissipation of the water‐cooling device. When the blue laser power increases to 73.1 W, the phosphor ceramics do not reach the luminescence saturation state. The luminous flux of phosphor ceramics excited by 73.1 W blue laser is stable within 60 min. The maximum luminous flux is 8094 lm, and the maximum working temperature of the ceramics is 110 °C. Surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) imaging technology faces significant technical bottlenecks in ensuring balanced spatial resolution, preventing image bias induced by substrate heterogeneity, accurate quantitative analysis, and substrate preparation that enhances Raman signal strength on a global scale. To systematically solve these problems, artificial intelligence techniques are applied to analyze the signals of pesticides based on 3D and dynamic SERS imaging. Utilizing perovskite/silver nanoparticles composites (CaTiO3/Ag@BONPs) as enhanced substrates, enabling it not only to cleanse pesticide residues from the surface to pulp of fruits and vegetables, but also to investigate the penetration dynamics of an array of pesticides (chlorpyrifos, thiabendazole, thiram, and acetamiprid). The findings challenge existing paradigms, unveiling a previously unnoticed weakening process during pesticide invasion and revealing the surprising permeability of non‐systemic pesticides. Of particular note is easy to overlook that the combined application of pesticides can inadvertently intensify their invasive capacity due to pesticide interactions. The innovative study delves into the realm of pesticide penetration, propelling a paradigm shift in the understanding of food safety. Meanwhile, this strategy provides strong support for the cutting‐edge application of SERS imaging technology and also brings valuable reference and enlightenment for researchers in related fields. van der Waals (vdWs) interchain coupling is a unique feature of 1D vdWs materials, where strong vdWs coupling in 1D vdWs materials leads to the thickness‐dependent physical properties, while weak vdWs coupling can preserve the single‐chain property even in their thick counterparts. Different from 2D vdWs materials, due to their nanoscale widths, identifying and producing ultrathin 1D molecular chains are challenging, severely limit their device applications. Thus, looking for novel 1D vdWs materials with weak interchain coupling is crucial. In this paper, the authors report that the 1D ternary vdWs material, Mo6Se2I8 with non‐centrosymmetric characteristic and strong optical anisotropy, exhibits weak interchain coupling. On one hand, the density functional theory (DFT) calculations theoretically demonstrate its thickness‐independent electronic structure, negligible interchain differential charge density, and weak cleavage energy as low as 0.256 J m−2. On the other hand, the thickness‐independent work function and low first‐order temperature coefficient of −0.0030 cm−1 K−1 further experimentally confirm its weak interchain coupling. Moreover, taking advantage of this weak vdWs coupling characteristic, the in situ exfoliation of the Mo6Se2I8 nanowires is achieved by using a nanoprobe in a scanning electron microscope (SEM), obtaining ultrathin molecular chains with a thickness of ≈1.2 nm. Most of the existing methods for harmonic analysis are from frequency‐domain perspective. In fact, the essential factor for generating harmonics is non‐linear characteristic or time‐varying property. Therefore, the harmonic generation mechanism and the harmonic source location method are investigated from the time domain perspective in this paper. Firstly, a general model of non‐harmonic sources is established. The non‐harmonic sources will match well with the proposed general model while the harmonic source will not. Then correlation coefficient that reflects compliance degree between each device and the general model is defined for distinguishing harmonic sources from non‐harmonic sources. On this basis, a novel time‐domain harmonic source location method is proposed. Numerous simulations and experiments have demonstrated that the proposed method has good performance under fluctuations, saturations, pre‐distortions, transient process, and resonances. The defined correlation coefficient can reflect non‐linearity/time‐varying degree of the harmonic source, which can be used for evaluating harmonic emission level of each harmonic source. On this basis, a simple harmonic responsibility division method is proposed, which is immune to possible fluctuations, pre‐distortions, saturations, resonances, and impedance variation. Due to the high carrier mobility and direct bandgap character, indium selenide (InSe) exhibits great advantages for advanced optoelectronic applications. However, the unique optical section rule in InSe weakens the light‐matter interaction when the electric field of illuminated light is perpendicular to the c‐axis of planar InSe flake. To overcome this constraint, ultramicrotome technique is introduced to achieve vertically aligned InSe ribbons, aiming to reconfigure the optical paths for improved optical absorption and device performance. The well‐designed InSe ribbons are acquired with uniform morphology, showing an integrated structure free of cracks or fragments. First, the structural symmetry, crystal orientation, and optical anisotropy of InSe ribbon are carefully revealed by polarization‐dependent Raman spectrum, second harmonic generation (SHG), and photoluminescence measurements. Then, the back focal plane (BFP) imaging of photoluminescence distinguishes the in‐plane and out‐of‐plane dipole emission of InSe ribbons and planar InSe flakes, respectively. Notably, the ribbon exhibits new PL peaks with energy lower than the exciton peak of InSe at low temperature, which is attributed to Se vacancies. The work by introducing vertically aligned InSe nanoribbons provides a new strategy to manipulate the light‐matter interactions and defect engineering for novel optoelectronics, which can be also extended to other 2D semiconductors. The E‐twenty‐six variant 1 (ETV1)‐dependent transcriptome plays an important role in atrial electrical and structural remodelling and the occurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF), but the underlying mechanism of ETV1 in AF is unclear. In this study, cardiomyocyte‐specific ETV1 knockout (ETV1f/fMyHCCre/+, ETV1‐CKO) mice were constructed to observe the susceptibility to AF and the underlying mechanism in AF associated with ETV1‐CKO mice. AF susceptibility was examined by intraesophageal burst pacing, induction of AF was increased obviously in ETV1‐CKO mice than WT mice. Electrophysiology experiments indicated shortened APD50 and APD90, increased incidence of DADs, decreased density of ICa,L in ETV1‐CKO mice. There was no difference in VINACT,1/2 and VACT,1/2, but a significantly longer duration of the recovery time after inactivation in the ETV1‐CKO mice. The recording of intracellular Ca2+ showed that there was significantly increased in the frequency of calcium spark, Ca2+ transient amplitude, and proportion of SCaEs in ETV1‐CKO mice. Reduction of Cav1.2 rather than NCX1 and SERCA2a, increase RyR2, p‐RyR2 and CaMKII was reflected in ETV1‐CKO group. This study demonstrates that the increase in calcium spark and SCaEs corresponding to Ca2+ transient amplitude may trigger DAD in membrane potential in ETV1‐CKO mice, thereby increasing the risk of AF. Catalytic hydrogenation of carbon dioxide (CO2) for the preparation of higher carboxylic acids is attractive and promising. Herein, we demonstrate a general strategy for producing higher carboxylic acids via reaction of CO2 and H2 with light (C2~C4) oxygenates such as ketones, alcohols, polyols, ethers and epoxides. In a green solvent consisting of ionic liquid (1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium iodide) and water, the reaction can be efficiently accelerated by RhI3 catalyst and I2 promoter at 170 °C. Very high or remarkable yields of higher carboxylic acids were synthesized via C−C bond formation between the intermediates generated from the oxygenates and CO2. Detailed study indicated that the catalyst and the solvent had excellent synergistic effect for promoting the reaction. Background Methods Results Conclusion Tourniquet is applied in Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA) to reduce intraoperative blood loss and improve view of surgical field. However, tourniquet use in TKA is still in dispute. Some researchers find that tourniquet may lead to extra side effects such as aggravated pain and limb swelling, while others consider that tourniquet has no significant adverse impact on clinical outcomes of TKA patients. This trial is conducted to evaluate tourniquet effect on TKA patients.A prospective, single‐blind, randomized controlled trail is adopted with a sample size of 130 knees from August 2020 to February 2023. Patients undergoing TKA are randomly allocated to tourniquet group and non‐tourniquet group. Outcomes including quadriceps thickness and stiffness, operation time, total blood loss, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative blood loss, transfusion rate, thigh circumference, knee and thigh VAS, D‐Dimer and CRP level, knee function score, patient satisfaction, and complications are evaluated in this trial. Student's t‐test, Mann–Whitney U test, Pearson's chi‐square test, and Fisher's exact test are used in this study.No significant difference in demographic information and baseline outcomes were found (p > 0.05). Participants in the tourniquet group had significantly less total blood loss and intraoperative blood loss, more postoperative blood loss, and higher D‐Dimer level on postoperative day 3 when compared with non‐tourniquet group (p < 0.05). Other outcomes including quadriceps thickness and stiffness, operation time, postoperative blood loss, transfusion rate, thigh circumference, knee and thigh VAS, D‐Dimer level on postoperative day 1, CRP level, knee function score, patient satisfaction, and complications showed no significant difference (p > 0.05).Tourniquet application can effectively reduce intraoperative blood loss and total blood loss, without significant side effects. The hydrothermal/soft templating method is an effective way to synthesize ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC), yet the mechanism of this strategy is not well illustrated. Herein, a hydrothermal temperature‐controlled approach is developed to precisely synthesize OMCs with well‐defined morphologies from liquefied wood (LW). As the hydrothermal temperature increases from 130 to 210°C, the hydrophilicity of the hydrophilic blocks decreases accompanied by the increase of the relative volume of the hydrophobic block, resulting in the packing parameter p of micelles changing from p ≤ 1/3 to 1/3 < p < 1/2, which transforms the micelle's structure from spherical to cylindrical. Additionally, accelerated nucleation occurred with the increased hydrothermal temperature. When the rate of nucleation is matched to the self‐assembly of the composite micelles, the composite micelles grow into worm‐like morphology and an ordered p6m mesostructure. This hydrothermal temperature‐controlled strategy provides a straightforward and effective approach for synthesizing OMCs with various morphologies from LW, addressing the previously insufficiently elucidated micelle formation mechanism in the hydrothermal/soft templating method. The structural uniqueness of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) has brought great potential for their applications in photocatalysis. Two novel azo‐linked COFs AZO‐B‐COF and AZO‐T‐COF were successfully constructed by the monomer exchange method. Significantly, two as‐synthesized azo COFs presented a much higher photodegradation rate of 96 % and 51 % for AZO‐T‐COF and AZO‐B‐COF, respectively, which was in sharp contrast to the almost 0 degradation rate of imine COFs. And as expected, AZO‐T‐COF could be cycled at least 5 runs without a significant decrease in catalytic efficiency. Systematical experiments and theoretical calculations showed that comparing with imine COFs, conjugated structure of azo COFs broadened the visible‐light absorption range and improved the transfer efficiency of the photocarriers. The N‐rich azo bonds acted as an electron acceptor and made the materials better planarity. This work not only enriches COFs family but also demonstrated the superiority of azo‐linked COFs. The chemical looping oxidative dehydrogenation (CL‐ODH) of ethane represents a highly effective approach for converting ethane into the value‐added product ethylene. This investigation focused on the synthesis of SrMnO3 and its halide ions doped derivatives (SrMnO3Cl and SrMnO3Br) through the sol‐gel method. The performance of these perovskites, employed as oxygen carriers in CL‐ODH of ethane, was explored. The results unveiled several advantageous outcomes arising from the incorporation of halide ions (Cl− and Br−) with larger radius into the oxygen sites of the SrMnO3 perovskite. Halide ions doping notably induced cell volume expansion and enhanced lattice fringe spacing. Furthermore, it contributed to elevated oxygen vacancy concentration, increased Mn4+/Mn3+ molar ratio, and improved oxygen ions mobility within the bulk lattice. Fixed‐bed experiments demonstrated that these redox catalysts, doped with halide ions, exhibited outstanding activity and stability during cycling tests, exhibiting enhanced both ethylene selectivity and yield in CL‐ODH of ethane. Quasicrystals (QCs) have attracted tremendous attention of researchers for their unusual properties. In this paper, an exact electric‐elastic solution of the simply supported and multilayered three‐dimensional (3D) cubic piezoelectric quasicrystal (PQC) nanoplate with the nonlocal effect is derived. Based on the basic elasticity equation of 3D QCs, we construct the linear eigenvalue system in terms of the pseudo‐Stroh formalism, from which the general solutions of the extended displacements and stresses in any homogeneous layer can be obtained. The two‐parameter foundation model is utilized to simulate the interaction between the nanoplate and elastic medium. The propagator matrices are employed to connect the field variables at the upper interface to those at the lower interface of each layer. Based on the boundary conditions of the upper and lower surfaces of the laminate and foundation model, the solutions are employed to derive from the global propagator matrix. Compared with the conventional propagator matrix method, a new propagator method is reestablished to deal with numerical instabilities of the case of large aspect ratio and high‐order frequencies for QC laminates. Finally, typical numerical examples are presented to illustrate the influence of nonlocal parameters and elastic medium coefficients on phonon, phason, and electric variables of 3D PQC nanoplates. It is still a challenge to develop electrocatalyst for the efficient adsorption and conversion of organic molecule in aqueous media. Herein, a hetero‐interface structure based on CuO@Ni(OH)2 is rationally designed to enhance the performance of benzyl alcohol oxidation to benzoic acid. A high Faradaic efficiency of 99% and the yield of 3.09 mmol cm−2 h−1 are achieved at 1.70 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode, outperforming the previously reported electrocatalysts. Furthermore, a membrane‐free flow electrolyzer was assembled based on CuO@Ni(OH)2 hetero‐interface, exhibiting a much high yielding of benzoic acid (6.73 mmol cm−2 h−1) and hydrogen (0.35 L cm−2 h−1) with excellent stability. Both experimental data and density functional theory calculations verify that the electron is tend to accumulate at the hetero‐interface, thus accelerating the adsorption of reactant and intermediate and reducing the energy barrier of the conversion of benzyl alcohol to benzoic acid. Neither pristine phase change materials (PCMs) nor metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) can be driven by optical/electrical/magnetic triggers for multiple energy conversion and thermal storage, which cannot satisfy the requirements of multi‐scenario applications. Herein, a three‐dimensional interconnected forest‐type array carbon network anchored by Co nanoparticles serving as optical/electrical/magnetic multimode triggers was developed through in situ growth of two‐dimensional MOF nanosheet arrays on pre‐carbonized melamine foam and subsequent high‐temperature carbonization. After the encapsulation of polyethylene glycol, the resulting composite PCMs simultaneously integrate fascinating photothermal, electrothermal, magnetothermal conversion and storage for personal thermotherapy. Benefiting from the synergistic enhancement of forest‐type array carbon heterostructure and Co nanoparticles, composite PCMs exhibit high thermal/electrical conduction and strong full‐spectrum absorption capacities. Resultantly, low‐energy photoelectric triggers are sufficient to drive high‐efficiency photothermal/electrothermal conversion and storage of composite PCMs (93.1%, 100 mW/cm2; 92.9%, 2.5 V). Additionally, composite PCMs also exhibit excellent encapsulation stability without liquid phase leakage, long‐term thermal reliability and multiple energy conversion and storage stability after multiple cycles. The proposed photoelectromagnetic multimode triggers are aimed to inspire innovation and accelerate major breakthroughs in advanced responsive composite PCMs toward multiple energy utilization and personal thermotherapy. Flowering time and maturity are crucial agronomic traits that affect the regional adaptability of soybean plants. The development of soybean cultivars with early maturity adapted to longer days and colder climates of high latitudes is very important for ensuring normal ripening before frost begins. FUL belongs to the MADS‐box transcription factor family and has several duplicated members in soybeans. In this study, we observed that overexpression of GmFULc in the Dongnong 50 cultivar promoted soybean maturity, while GmFULc knockout mutants exhibited late maturity. Chromatin immunoprecipitation sequencing (ChIP‐seq) and RNA sequencing (RNA‐seq) revealed that GmFULc could bind to the CArG, bHLH and homeobox motifs. Further investigation revealed that GmFULc could directly bind to the CArG motif in the promoters of the GmZTL3 and GmZTL4 genes. Overexpression of GmZTL4 promoted soybean maturity, whereas the ztl4 mutants exhibited delayed maturity. Moreover, we found that the cis element box 4 motif of the GmZTL4 promoter, a motif of light response elements, played an important role in controlling the growth period. Deletion of this motif shortened the growth period by increasing the expression levels of GmZTL4. Functional investigations revealed that short‐day treatment promoted the binding of GmFULc to the promoter of GmZTL4 and inhibited the expression of E1 and E1Lb, ultimately resulting in the promotion of flowering and early maturation. Taken together, these findings suggest a novel photoperiod regulatory pathway in which GmFULc directly activates GmZTL4 to promote earlier maturity in soybean. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

By employing metal oxides as oxygen carriers, chemical looping demonstrates its effectiveness in transferring oxygen between reduction and oxidation environments to partially oxidize fuels into syngas and convert CO2 into CO. Generally, NiFe2O4 oxygen carriers have demonstrated remarkable efficiency in chemical looping CO2 conversion. Nevertheless, the intricate process of atomic migration and evolution within the internal structure of bimetallic oxygen carriers during continuous high‐temperature redox cycling remains unclear. Consequently, the lack of a fundamental understanding of the complex ionic migration and oxygen transfer associated with energy conversion processes hampers the design of high‐performance oxygen carriers. Thus, in this study, we employed in situ characterization techniques and theoretical calculations to investigate the ion migration behavior and structural evolution in the bulk of NiFe2O4 oxygen carriers during H2 reduction and CO2/lab air oxidation cycles. We discovered that during the H2 reduction step, lattice oxygen rapidly migrates to vacancy layers to replenish consumed active oxygen species, while Ni leaches from the material and migrates to the surface. During the CO2 splitting step, Ni migrates toward the core of the bimetallic oxygen carrier, forming Fe–Ni alloys. During the air oxidation step, Fe–Ni migrates outward, creating a hollow structure owing to the Kirkendall effect triggered by the swift transfer of lattice oxygen. The metal atom migration paths depend on the oxygen transfer rates. These discoveries highlight the significance of regulating the release–recovery rate of lattice oxygen to uphold the structures and reactivity of oxygen carriers. Depot‐type drug delivery systems are designed to deliver drugs at an effective rate over an extended period. Minimizing initial "burst" can also be important, especially with drugs causing systemic toxicity. Both goals are challenging with small hydrophilic molecules. The delivery of molecules such as the ultrapotent local anesthetic tetrodotoxin (TTX) exemplifies both challenges. Toxicity can be mitigated by conjugating TTX to polymers with ester bonds, but the slow ester hydrolysis can result in subtherapeutic TTX release. Here, we developed a prodrug strategy, based on dynamic covalent chemistry utilizing a reversible reaction between the diol TTX and phenylboronic acids. These polymeric prodrugs exhibited TTX encapsulation efficiencies exceeding 90 % and the resulting polymeric nanoparticles showed a range of TTX release rates. In vivo injection of the TTX polymeric prodrugs at the sciatic nerve reduced TTX systemic toxicity and produced nerve block lasting 9.7±2.0 h, in comparison to 1.6±0.6 h from free TTX. This approach could also be used to co‐deliver the diol dexamethasone, which prolonged nerve block to 21.8±5.1 h. Ring‐opening polymerization (ROP) offers a striking solution to solve problems encountered in step‐growth condensation polymerization, including precise control over molecular weight, molecular weight distribution, and topology. This has inspired our interest in ROP of cycloalkanes with an ultimate goal to rethink polyolefins, which clearly poses a number of challenges. Practicality of ROP of cycloalkanes is actually limited by their low polymerizability and elusive mechanisms which arise from significantly varied ring size and non‐polar C−C bonds in monomers. In this work, by using Lewis acid/Brønsted base/C(sp3)‐H initiator system previously developed in our laboratory, we focus on cyclobutanes and explore the positional and electronic effects of substituents on the ring, namely electron push‐pull effect, in promoting controlled polymerization to afford densely functionalized poly(cyclobutanes), as well as catalytic degradation of obtained polymers for upcycling. More importantly, experiments and DFT calculations unveil considerable population of Lewis‐acid‐induced thermostabilized 1,4‐zwitterions, which distinguish cyclobutanes from cyclopropanes and others. All these findings would shed light on catalytic synthesis and degradation of saturated all‐carbon main‐chain polymers, as well as small molecule transformations of cyclobutanes. Stability is the most pressing challenge hindering the commercialization of perovskite solar cells (PSCs), and previous efforts focused more on enhancing the resistance of PSCs to external stimulus. Here, we found that the indium tin oxide (ITO) will deteriorate the photovoltaic performance of PSCs through positive feedback cycles. Specifically, the perovskite degradation products will cross the electron transport layer to chemically etch the electrode ITO to generate In3+, which will migrate upwards into the perovskite film. Then, the reaction that corrodes ITO consumes the decomposition products of perovskite and shifts the balance of the perovskite decomposition reaction, further promoting the degradation and thus falling into a positive feedback cycle. Moreover, the In3+ in the perovskite film was found to accumulate at the upper surface, which would lead to n‐type doping of perovskite film to form the energy barrier for interface carrier extraction. Subsequently, the chelating molecule ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid disodium salt (EDTA‐2Na) was introduced onto ITO to firmly chelate the In3+ and prevent it from migrating upward, thus breaking this internal positive feedback cycle and significantly enhancing the efficiency and stability of PSCs. TC4 titanium alloy has been widely used in the automotive field due to its exceptional properties. However, inherent defects such as low hardness and poor wear resistance for TC4 alloy limited its wider application. The microarc oxidation (MAO) technique was employed in this paper to prepare MAO coatings on TC4 titanium alloy. The microstructure, phase structure, mechanical properties, and tribological performance were systematically evaluated. The results show that the coating contains a large amount of rutile TiO2 hard phase after MAO treatment, which significantly improves the mechanical properties of the substrate. The hardness of the MAO coating can reach 581 HV.05. Furthermore, the synergistic lubrication effect of onion‐like carbon (OLC) nanoparticles and organic molybdenum dithiocarbamate (MoDTC) in PAO oil was observed for MAO‐treated TC4. Particularly, when .01 wt.% OLC is used with 1 wt.% MoDTC oil, the coefficient of friction (COF) decreases to .062, and the wear rate decreases to 4.3 × 10−7 mm3/Nm. Combined Raman and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis indicate that OLC is deposited on coating area to form a lubricating carbon film. Despite the pivotal role of molecular oxygen (O2) activation in artificial photosynthesis, the activation efficiency is often restricted by sluggish exciton dissociation and charge transfer kinetics within polymer photocatalysts. Herein, we propose two tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)‐based imine‐linked covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with tailored donor‐acceptor (D–A) structures, TTF‐PDI‐COF and TTF‐TFPP‐COF, to promote O2 activation. Because of enhanced electron push‐pull interactions that facilitated charge separation and transfer behavior, TTF‐PDI‐COF exhibited superior photocatalytic activity in electron‐induced O2 activation reactions over TTF‐TFPP‐COF under visible light irradiation, including the photosynthesis of (E)‐3‐amino‐2‐thiocyano‐α,β‐unsaturated compounds and H2O2. As a new group of van der Waals (vdWs) ferroic materials, transition metal dioxydihalides MO2X2 (M: Mo, W; X: halogen) with a perovskite‐like structure are theoretically predicted to exhibit intriguing physics and versatile ferroic characteristics, which is not achieved experimentally as far as it is known. In this work, the robust ferroelasticity in vdWs WO2I2 with the switching strain as low as ≈0.3%, accompanied with the striped optical contrast between adjacent domains, spot splitting of selected area electron diffraction (SAED) patterns at domain wall, and 90° domain wall is demonstrated. With the aid of ab‐initio calculations, the origin of ferroelasticity in WO2I2 is unveiled, where the imaginary phonon mode in the high‐symmetry paraelastic phase leads to the spontaneous displacement of W atom away from the center of the [WO4I2] octahedron, resulting in the switchable spontaneous strain under an external strain field. Moreover, transient absorption microscopy (TAM) measurements demonstrate that the diffusion of photogenerated carriers is significantly hindered by the ferroelastic domain walls. In the field of medical image analysis, object detection plays a crucial role by providing interpretable diagnostic information to healthcare professionals. Although current object detection models have achieved remarkable success in conventional images, their performance in detecting abnormalities in medical images has not been as satisfactory. This is primarily due to the complexity of anatomical structures in medical images, and the fact that some lesions may have subtle features, particularly in the case of early‐stage, small‐scale abnormalities. To address this challenge, we introduce SOCR‐YOLO, a novel lesion detection model with online convolutional reparameterization based on channel shuffling. First, it employs the SOCR (Shuffled Channel with Online Convolutional Re‐parameterization) module to establish a connection between feature concatenation and computational efficiency, aiming to extract more comprehensive information while reducing time consumption. Second, it incorporates the Bi‐FPN structure to achieve multiscale feature fusion. Lastly, the loss function has been optimized to improve the model training process. We evaluated two datasets, chest x‐ray (Vindr‐CXR) and brain tumor (Br35H), provided by the Kaggle competition. Experimental results show that the proposed method has outperformed several state‐of‐the‐art models, including YOLOv8, YOLO‐NAS, and RT‐DETR, in both speed and accuracy. Notably, in the context of chest x‐ray anomaly detection, SOCR‐YOLO exhibits a 1.8% enhancement in accuracy over YOLOv8 while simultaneously reducing floating‐point operations by 26.3%. Additionally, a similar 1.8% improvement in accuracy is observed in the detection of brain tumors. To ensure the ship navigation safety, it is necessary to detect the targets in the background of sea clutter around the ship. The most commonly used target detection equipments for ship navigation are marine radar and automatic identification system (AIS) device. However, marine radar echoes are often mixed with multiple clutter, and weak targets are not always equipped with AIS device, neither provides AIS information with low accuracy, leading to difficulty with target detection. Moreover, existing marine monitoring systems are accustomed to using the traditional information fusion methods for target detection, and the accuracy of identifying the weak targets is relatively low. To make full use of radar echo and AIS information and improve the accuracy of target detection, a Marine radar monitoring Internet of Things system is proposed, in which marine radars work in both scanning and staring modes. By adopting image segmentation and deep learning methods, the proposed design can enable accurate perception of weak target detection based on plan‐position indicator (PPI) images. Self‐powered pressure detection using smart wearable devices is the subject of intense research attention, which is intended to address the critical need for prolonged and uninterrupted operations. Current piezoelectric and triboelectric sensors well respond to dynamic stimuli while overlooking static stimuli. This study proposes a dual‐response potentiometric pressure sensor that responds to both dynamic and static stimuli. The proposed sensor utilizes interdigital electrodes with MnO2/carbon/polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as the cathode and conductive silver paste as the anode. The electrolyte layer incorporates a mixed hydrogel of PVA and phosphoric acid. The optimized interdigital electrodes and sandpaper‐like microstructured surface of the hydrogel electrolyte contribute to enhanced performance by facilitating an increased contact area between the electrolyte and electrodes. The sensor features an open‐circuit voltage of 0.927 V, a short‐circuit current of 6 µA, a higher sensitivity of 14 mV/kPa, and outstanding cycling performance (>5000 cycles). It can accurately recognize letter writing and enable capacitor charging and LED lighting. Additionally, a data acquisition and display system employing the proposed sensor, which facilitates the monitoring of athletes' rehabilitation training, and machine learning algorithms that effectively guide rehabilitation actions are presented. Hydrogel‐based zinc‐air batteries (ZABs) are promising flexible rechargeable batteries. However, the practical application of hydrogel‐based ZABs is limited by their short service life, narrow operating temperature range, and repair difficulty. Herein, a self‐healing ionogel is synthesized by the photopolymerization of acrylamide and poly(ethylene glycol) monomethyl ether acrylate in 1‐ethyl‐3‐methylimidazolium dicyanamide with zinc acetate dihydrate and first used as an electrolyte to fabricate self‐healing ZABs. The obtained self‐healing ionogel has a wide operating temperature range, good environmental and electrochemical stability, high ionic conductivity, satisfactory mechanical strength, repeatable and efficient self‐healing properties enabled by the reversibility of hydrogen bonding, and the ability to inhibit the production of dendrites and by‐products. Notably, the self‐healing ionogel has the highest ionic conductivity and toughness compared to other reported self‐healing ionogels. The prepared self‐healing ionogel is used to assemble self‐healing flexible ZABs with a wide operating temperature range. These ZABs have ultra‐long cycling lives and excellent stability under harsh conditions. After being damaged, the ZABs can repeatedly self‐heal to recover their battery performance, providing a long‐lasting and reliable power supply for wearable devices.
