The article presents a research study which aims to explore the effects of polyhdyroxylated derivatives of fullerene. The methods used in the study includes pathological analysis, cytological analysis and biochemical assays. Results showed that a large part of the fulluerenols were scattered in lungs which shows the potential usage as an inhaled drug. It concludes that the results will provide toxicology insights into the future use of polyhdyroxylated fullerenols as inhaled drugs.
