The article offers information on a checklist that was developed to help medical school faculty members identify the medical education content bias that students face with regard to race, ethnicity, gender and other characteristics. Topics covered include the problems that were addressed by the checklist, how the checklist can prevent the harm of biased content reaching students, and preliminary evidence on the positive impact of the checklist.
