The Himalayan plant Inula racemosa has medicinal properties and can be used to prevent or treat cancer. This is because it contains certain chemicals that are known to fight cancer cells with few or no side effects. I. racemosa has been used for this purpose for many years in traditional medicine and has shown promising results. The present study was crafted to explore the suppressive impacts on cellular proliferation of the root extract derived from I. racemosa via in vivo experimentation. I. racemosa (IR) root extract was tested at three different doses (100, 250, and 500 mg/Kg BW) for 18 weeks to assess its anti‐neoplastic activity against mammary tumors in female rats. The assessment included various parameters such as hematological and biochemical indices, tumor parameters, oxidative stress analysis, gross and histopathological lesion determination, Masson's trichrome staining, immunohistochemical expression of Ki‐67, MMP‐9, and VEGF in mammary gland tissues, and molecular docking. The chemopreventive action of IR root extract was demonstrated by the inhibition of tumor parameters (tumor size and tumor volume), minimum changes in the liver (ALT, AST, and ALP) and kidney enzymes (BUN and creatinine), declined lipid peroxidation activity, decline gross, and histological changes in mammary gland tumors, reduced expression of KI‐67, MMP‐9, and VEGF and maximum binding affinity of isoalantolactone with VEGF through molecular docking. The study suggests that the active constituents (isoalantolactone and alantolactone) of I. racemosa roots have anti‐neoplastic activity against mammary tumors, making them a valuable therapeutic regimen for the future. Summary: Multiple intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) in a wireless system are considered to enhance performance, efficiency, and flexibility in wireless networks. In this paper, we analyze outage probability (OP) for multiple IRS panels‐assisted wireless systems over Nakagami‐ m fading channels. We focus on selecting the best IRS panel to maintain the quality of service and enhance the user experience. We derive two closed‐form OP expressions using the central limit theorem and Laguerre series expansion. Additionally, we develop a novel asymptotic OP expression and obtain a novel diversity order. The diversity order of the considered system model depends on the minimum fading parameter (m) between the transmitter‐IRS panel and IRS panel‐receiver links and the number of IRS panels. We thoroughly investigate the impact of system parameters and validate our analytical results with simulations. Our findings emphasize that diversity order depends on the minimum fading parameter (m) between the transmitter‐IRS panel and IRS panel‐receiver links, the number of IRS elements in each panel, and the number of IRS panels. Background: The hypoxic microenvironment is a key component of the gastric tumour niche. Carcinoembryonic antigen‐related cell adhesion molecule 6 (CEACAM6) is upregulated in gastric cancer and is considered a novel biomarker for the disease. However, no prior studies have elaborated on the status of CEACAM6 and its role in the hypoxic gastric cancer niche. Methods: In this short study, we evaluated the effect of hypoxia in modulating CEACAM6 level in gastric cancer cells (GCCs) through western blotting and determined the effect of CEACAM6 upregulation on gastric cancer progression through clonogenicity, cell proliferation and migration assays. The wound‐healing ability of GCCs was downregulated by siRNA‐mediated CEACAM6 silencing. Human gastric cancer biopsy samples were examined by immunofluorescence microscopy to assess the level of a hypoxia marker HIF1α and CEACAM6. The effect of empty vector or CEACAM6‐expression on peripheral blood‐derived mononuclear cell (PBMC)‐derived macrophage polarization under normoxia or hypoxia was studied by incubating macrophages in conditioned medium collected from GCC cultures. Macrophage polarization status was observed using flow cytometry and fluorescence microscopy. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation by macrophages was evaluated using fluorescence microscopy. Results: We identified that hypoxia promoted CEACAM6 in GCCs, and these cells acquired increased proliferative potential and migration ability. Moreover, the cell culture supernatant from hypoxia‐exposed CEACAM6‐overexpressing cells promoted an M2‐like macrophage population and discouraged the M1 phenotype. Conclusion: This study established that hypoxia increased CEACAM6 which promoted gastric cancer progression by influencing GCC proliferation and motility as well as macrophage polarization. Owing to iron's natural abundance, low cost, and affordability, nonaqueous rechargeable iron‐ion (Fe‐ion) batteries have the potential for alternative rechargeable energy‐storage devices. However, developing cathodes with adequate superior Fe2+ storage during charge–discharge is a major challenge. Herein, V2O5 porous microspheres (V2O5–PMS) are synthesized as efficient cathodes due to their unique characteristics, including high surface area and large interlayer spacing, which provide high electrochemical performance and fast charge kinetics. The nonaqueous Fe‐ion battery is fabricated under ambient conditions using mild steel as an anode and a V2O5–PMS cathode. The cyclic voltammetry measurements suggests a high diffusion coefficient of Fe2+ ions in the redox process during charge–discharge. The V2O5–PMS‐based cathode shows ≈205 mAh g−1 gravimetric capacity at 33 and ≈70 mAh g−1 at 1 A g−1 (≈15 C). It exhibits capacity retention of ≈70% in 600 cycles at a very high current rate of 3 A g−1. The impedance spectroscopy measurements are carried out between the cell's cycling to understand the electrode–electrolyte interface resistance over cycling. Heterogeneous photocatalysis has been widely explored as a promising solution for dye degradation due to its cost‐effectiveness, ease of recovery, and use of green technology. Precisely, iron‐doped cadmium sulfide (CdS) exhibits greater efficiency because of its higher charge separation, more electron transfer efficiency, and adsorption under visible region. In this study, two different ratios of iron‐doped cadmium sulfide (Cd(1‐x)Fe(x)S/GO) nanocomposites such as Cd0.95Fe0.05S/GO and Cd0.90Fe0.10S/GO were synthesized using the coprecipitation method and characterized with UV‐Vis DRS, XRD, FT‐IR, Raman, XPS, and HR‐TEM. The nanocomposites have been employed to degrade the methyl orange under visible region and optimize the dopant ratio, amount of catalyst, and pH. From the results, it is observed that the composition with a high percentage of iron‐doped CdS such as Cd0.90Fe0.10S/GO displayed better photocatalytic properties and improved the optimum ratio (0.9:0.1 for Cd:Fe). This may be attributed to the highest charge separation, increased number of defective sites, and enhanced visible‐range adsorption owing to Fe doping. The present study mainly focused on synthesizing novel triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidine‐6‐carboxamide derivatives using multicomponent reaction. Synthesized derivatives were duly characterized using spectroscopic methods of analysis FT‐IR and mass spectroscopy, and 1H NMR and 13C NMR confirmed the structure of compounds. Further, the potential of the synthesized compounds against Plasmodium falciparum dihydrofolate reductase (Pf‐DHFR) inhibitors was evaluated by in vitro antimalarial activity, and the results of the study showed moderate to good antimalarial profile of synthesized entities. In silico study of all the synthesized compounds was carried out using Schrödinger LLC‐2020‐3 Software to explain the binding mode and interactions between molecules and pf DHFR enzyme. To study the drug likeliness of molecules, 3D QSAR and Pharmacokinetic studies have been carried out, and the results obtained showed a good pharmacokinetics profile of two compounds, namely AMP‐24 and AMP‐28, having good IC50 values concerning standard drugs. Further, the in vitro enzyme inhibition assay results suggested that the synthesized compound interacts nicely with the enzyme and might be used as a potent antimalarial agent. Highlights Fiber‐reinforced polymer composites (FRPCs) have become integral to various industries due to their exceptional strength‐to‐weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and versatility. Recent advancements in the properties and recycling of FRPCs reflect significant progress in performance and sustainability. This paper reviews the latest developments in FRPC technology, highlighting innovations in material formulation, including advancements in fiber types, matrix materials, and hybrid composites that enhance mechanical properties. Furthermore, this review emphasizes the modification of matrices by incorporating graphene, which aims to improve the chemical bonding and mechanical interlocking between fiber and matrix. Additionally, it addresses recent breakthroughs in recycling technologies, focusing on methods such as chemical recycling, mechanical recycling, and developing eco‐friendly matrices. Integrating these advancements aims to improve the lifecycle management of FRPCs, reduce environmental impact, and support the transition towards a circular economy. This review underscores the balance between enhancing composite performance and promoting sustainable practices, paving the way for more environmentally responsible applications of FRPCs. In the present research work a sequence of substituted quinoline based thiazolidinedione moieties (12a–h) were designed and synthesized as potential antidiabetic agents. Pancreatic α‐amylase (PAA) and intestinal α‐glucosidase (IAG) enzymes were considered as potential targets for effective treatment of diabetes. The potential of all compounds (12a–h) was assessed in vitro against PAA and IAG using acarbose as standard. The results suggested that compound 12h has shown superior PAA and IAG inhibitory activity with respective to standard (IC50 = 4.683 ± 0.06 µM and 2.456 ± 0.07 µM). Furthermore, using computational (in silico) studies like AutoDock and Desmond, predicted the significant binding interactions responsible for the activity of all compounds (12a–h) at the active site of enzymes, while SwissADME and Osiris property explorer tools computed in silico drug likeliness and toxicity properties. The RMSD, RMSF, Rg and protein ligand contacts, confirmed the stable binding of compound 12h and 12g with the both PAA and IAG proteins. The in silico results confirmed the 12h molecule as a superior drug with high binding affinity and good drug likeness against PAA and IAG, confirming in vitro results. We also studied antioxidant activity (AOA) of all synthesized compounds and results confined that the compound 12h has good antioxidant potential (IC50 = 5.04 ± 0.054 µM) among all other compounds. Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) is extensively utilized in industrial applications, posing significant environmental and health risks because of its persistence and toxicity. Effective elimination methods are vital to mitigate its adverse effects on ecosystems and human health. In this study, we investigate the potential of biomass‐derived polymer composite for PFOA adsorption in aqueous solution. Due to its unique surface interaction and porosity, the polymer‐based composite derived from sustainable biomass sources exhibits favorable adsorption characteristics. The physicochemical properties of polymer composites were characterized using FTIR, XRD, SEM‐EDS, XPS, and BET analysis. The polymer composites reached a maximum PFOA adsorption efficiency about 93.3% under optimized conditions determined by Box Behnken Design. The Langmuir isotherm model revealed and provided an adsorption capacity of PFOA about 13.98 mg g−1. Moreover, the polymer‐based composites demonstrated reusability, with removal rates of PFOA ranging from 93.3% to 52% over the course of four cycles after desorption. Our findings underscore the possibility of biomass‐derived polymer composites as long‐term and effective adsorbents for PFOA removal from aqueous environments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Green synthesis of nanoparticles has become a significant area of research, driven by the demand for sustainable, economical, and environmentally friendly processes, particularly in biomedical applications. In this study, silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were produced using 10 g of Couroupita guianensis flower extract through a straightforward and environmentally friendly method. The biosynthesized AgNPs were characterized using UV–Vis spectroscopy, XRD, FTIR, SEM, and EDS techniques, confirming their successful formation and structural properties. The antibacterial efficacy of the AgNPs was assessed against Escherichia coli and Listeria monocytogenes, achieving 99.5% inactivation for E. coli and 99.3% inactivation for L. monocytogenes after 120 min of visible light exposure. Additionally, the AgNPs showed notable anticancer effects against breast cancer cells (MDA‐MB‐231), displaying a dose‐dependent decrease in cell viability, with reductions of 15%, 30%, 72%, and 86% observed at concentrations of 25, 50, 75, and 100 μg/mL, respectively. The spherical morphology of the synthesized AgNPs contributed to enhanced interactions with bacterial and cancer cells, underpinning their effectiveness. Furthermore, the mechanisms underlying these antibacterial and anticancer effects were analyzed, highlighting the unique phytochemical properties of the extract that assist in biosynthesis and activity enhancement. These findings suggest that green‐synthesized AgNPs derived from C. guianensis flower extract hold significant potential for use in biomedical applications, particularly in antibacterial and anticancer therapies. Objective: This study aims to discern the disparities in the electrode‐to‐modiolus distance (EMD) between cochleostomy and round window approaches when performed sequentially in the same temporal bone. Additionally, the study seeks to identify the cochlear metrics that contribute to these differences. Methodology: A cross‐sectional study was conducted, involving the sequential insertion of a 12‐electrode array through both round window and cochleostomy approaches in cadaveric temporal bones. Postimplantation high‐resolution CT scans were employed to calculate various parameters. Results: A total of 12 temporal bones were included in the imaging analysis, revealing a mean cochlear duct length of 32.892 mm. The EMD demonstrated a gradual increase from electrode 1 (C1) in the apex (1.9 ± 0.07 mm; n = 24) to electrode 12 (C12) in the basal turn (4.6 ± 0.24 mm; n = 12; p < 0.01). Significantly higher EMD values were observed in the cochleostomy group. Correlation analysis indicated a strong positive correlation between EMD and cochlear perimeter (CP) (rs = 0.64; n = 12; p = 0.03) and a strong negative correlation with the depth of insertion (DOI) in both the middle and basal turns (rs = − 0.78; n = 20; p < 0.01). Additionally, EMD showed a strong negative correlation with the DOI‐CP ratio (rs = −0.81; n = 12; p < 0.01). Conclusion: The cochleostomy group exhibited a significantly higher EMD compared with the round window group. The strong negative correlation between EMD and DOI‐CP ratio suggests that in larger cochleae with shallower insertions, EMD is greater than in smaller cochleae with deeper insertions. In‐plane Hyperbolic Phonon polaritons (HPhPs) are quasiparticles formed via coupling of photons and optical phonons in in‐plane hyperbolic materials and offer unique applications in sensing, thermal emitters and high‐resolution imaging. However, the large momentum mismatch between photons and these in‐plane HPhPs has restricted their technological potential as most experimental demonstrations rely on sophisticated and expensive near‐field detection schemes. In this work, using the example of α‐MoO3, it is demonstrated that by constructing photonic hypercrystals of this material, one can not only excite these in‐plane HPhPs in the far field but also tune the far field response via twisting the hypercrystal lattice with respect the lattice of α‐MoO3. The findings will pave the way for the development of practical in‐plane HPhP devices as well as provide access to new fundamental physics of such materials via conventional and well developed far‐field measurement techniques. Utilizing DFT along with Boltzmann transport theory, the structural, elastic, electrical, optical, and thermoelectric properties of half‐Heusler compound RhTiP have been calculated in principle to examine the pressure effect in the range of 0–40 GPa. As pressure increases, the volume and normalized lattice parameter decreased. In addition to satisfying the Born stability criterion, which ensured the compound RhTiP "natural stability," the zero pressure elastic constants and the pressure‐dependent elastic constants are positive up to 40 GPa. The band structure computations guarantee the semiconductor nature of RhTiP, as demonstrated by the presence of electronic band gap of 1.035 eV at zero pressure. Using the Voigt‐Reuss‐Hill (VRH) averaging scheme under pressure, we have determined the values of this compound's bulk modulus B$$ B $$, shear modulus G$$ G $$, Young's modulus E$$ E $$, Pugh ratio B/G$$ B/G $$, Poisson's ratio v$$ v $$, and anisotropy factor A$$ A $$. Because the bulk modulus responds linearly to pressure, the material's hardness increases as pressure rises. Additionally, under pressures up to 40 GPa, the optical characteristics of RhTiP, including their reflectivity, absorptivity, conductivity, dielectric constant, refractive index, and loss function, were assessed and discussed. Furthermore, the thermoelectric properties are also studied for the materials and supports the tunning of pressure. Sulphotransferases (SULTs) are a major phase II metabolic enzyme class contributing ~20 % to the Phase II metabolism of FDA‐approved drugs. Ignoring the potential for SULT‐mediated metabolism leaves a strong potential for drug‐drug interactions, often causing late‐stage drug discovery failures or black‐boxed warnings on FDA labels. The existing models use only accessibility descriptors and machine learning (ML) methods for class and site of sulfonation (SOS) predictions for SULT. In this study, a variety of accessibility, reactivity, and hybrid models and algorithms have been developed to make accurate substrate and SOS predictions. Unlike the literature models, reactivity parameters for the aliphatic or aromatic hydroxyl groups (R/Ar−O−H), the Bond Dissociation Energy (BDE) gave accurate models with a True Positive Rate (TPR)=0.84 for SOS predictions. We offer mechanistic insights to explain these novel findings that are not recognized in the literature. The accessibility parameters like the ratio of Chemgauss4 Score (CGS) and Molecular Weight (MW) CGS/MW and distance from cofactor (Dis) were essential for class predictions and showed TPR=0.72. Substrates consistently had lower BDE, Dis, and CGS/MW than non‐substrates. Hybrid models also performed acceptablely for SOS predictions. Using the best models, Algorithms gave an acceptable performance in class prediction: TPR=0.62, False Positive Rate (FPR)=0.24, Balanced accuracy (BA)=0.69, and SOS prediction: TPR=0.98, FPR=0.60, and BA=0.69. A rule‐based method was added to improve the predictive performance, which improved the algorithm TPR, FPR, and BA. Validation using an external dataset of drug‐like compounds gave class prediction: TPR=0.67, FPR=0.00, and SOS prediction: TPR=0.80 and FPR=0.44 for the best Algorithm. Comparisons with standard ML models also show that our algorithm shows higher predictive performance for classification on external datasets. Overall, these models and algorithms (SOS predictor) give accurate substrate class and site (SOS) predictions for SULT‐mediated Phase II metabolism and will be valuable to the drug discovery community in academia and industry. Arsenic occurs across the world in freshwater and marine environments, menacing the survival of aquatic organisms. Organic and inorganic forms of this substance can be found, in which the inorganic form is more hazardous than the organic form. Most aquatic bodies contain inorganic arsenic species, but organic species are believed to be the dominant form of arsenic in the majority of fish. Natural and anthropogenic both are the sources of water contamination with arsenic. Its bioaccumulation and transfer from one trophic level to another in the aquatic food chain make arsenic a vital environmental issue. Continuous exposure to low concentrations of arsenic in aquatic organisms including fish leads to its bioaccumulation, which may affect organisms of higher trophic levels including large fishes or humans. Humans can be exposed to arsenic through the consumption of fish contaminated with arsenic. Hence, the present review facilitates our understanding about sources of arsenic, its bioaccumulation, food chain transfer, and its effect on the fish health. Also, "Poison in the Water: Arsenic's Silent Assault on Fish Health" serves as a wake‐up call to recognize the pressing need to address arsenic contamination in water bodies. By understanding its devastating impact on fish health, we can strive to implement sustainable practices and policies that safeguard our precious aquatic environments and ensure the well‐being of both wildlife and human communities that depend on them. Background: The global cancer burden is rising, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMIC), highlighting a critical research gap in understanding disparities in supportive care access. To address this, the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) Health Disparities Committee initiated a global survey to investigate and delineate these disparities. This study aims to explore and compare supportive care access disparities between LMIC and High‐Income Countries (HIC). Methods: An online cross‐sectional survey was conducted among active members of MASCC. Members, representing diverse healthcare professions received email invitations. The survey, available for 3 weeks, comprised sections covering (1) sociodemographic information; (2) clinical service/practice‐related disparities in their region/nation; (3) population groups facing disparities within their region or country. Chi‐squared or Fisher's exact test for cross‐sectional analyses, and a multivariable logistic regression model was employed for statistical analysis. Results: A total of 218 active members participated, with one‐quarter (26.6%) from LMIC and 18.4% ethnic minorities, timely cancer care (43.7%) and timely supportive care (45.0%) emerged as the most pressing disparities globally. Notably, participants from LMIC underscored cancer drug affordability (56.4%) and supportive care guideline implementation (56.4%) as critical issues. Economically disadvantaged populations were noted as more likely to face disparities by both LMIC and HIC (non‐US‐based) respondents, while US‐based respondents identified racial/ethnic minorities as facing more disparities. Conclusion: This global survey reveals significant disparities in cancer supportive care between LMIC and HIC, with a particular emphasis on medication affordability and guideline implementation in LMIC. In the current study, we have performed a comprehensive analysis of the Sodium Hydrogen Exchanger (NHX) gene family in Vigna mungo, and a total of 44 NHX genes were identified. A bimodal distribution based on domains, gene structure and phylogenetic analysis was evident. All intronpoor and intron‐rich genes were clustered in clades I and II, respectively. Interestingly, all genes of subclade IIb were localized to vacuoles and possess only the NHX domain. The isoelectric point and trans‐membrane domain analysis reflect the wide distribution of the NHX genes. Interestingly, Vm_NHX2 and Vm_NHX3 lacked trans‐membrane domain but were found to interact with other NHX genes as well as vital salinity pathway genes, including calcium‐mediated salt‐responsive genes. The comparison of the mRNA sequences with that of V. marina, a halophytic species, reflects their independent evolution, majorly supporting the convergent evolution. The Ka/Ks ratio reflects the abundance of purifying selection supporting their conserved function during evolution. In our analysis, several abiotic stress and hormone‐responsive elements and transcription factor binding sites were present in the promoter of the NHX genes. Further, the ion partitioning of a tolerant (K90) and a susceptible (K49) variety of V. mungo suggested that K90 managed the Na+/K+ ratio more affluently, which was also supported by profiling of superoxide radicals, hydrogen peroxide, phenol, peroxidase activity and superoxide dismutase activity. From the expression, we identified five candidate Vm_NHX genes, four of which, i.e. Vm_NHX16, Vm_NHX17, Vm_NHX29 and Vm_NHX33, were localized to the vacuolar and lysosomal membrane. The present research aims to refine the hydrodynamic cavitation technique with traditional knowledgebase of Ayurveda for more efficient water disinfection and that has huge potential for implementation in real life, especially for substituting the existing chlorination method for drinking water treatment. The study incorporates use of newer copper reactor configuration, employing vortex flow for generating cavitation for the disinfection of water. Elimination of model contaminant, Escherichia coli, with initial concentration of ∼105 CFU/mL of bacteria was used for the disinfection study. Copper vortex diode with a capacity of 1 m3/h was employed as a cavitating device. The cavitation using copper vortex diode gave significantly higher disinfection, over 30%, compared that with conventional vortex diode, with aluminum as material of construction, under similar conditions. Remarkably, the addition of 0.1% betel leaf oil led to an extraordinary 260‐fold increase in the rate of disinfection, requiring only a single pass to achieve complete bacteria elimination. Furthermore, a notably high synergistic index of 246.96 was achieved for the process intensification approach using the Cu vortex diode. The cost was substantially reduced by approximately three times to 0.011 $/m3 using the Cu vortex diode compared to the conventional vortex diode. The developed strategy offers significantly enhanced performance, as well as a techno‐economical and sustainable solution for drinking water treatment to ensure the provision of safe drinking water. Moreover, the newer methodology can have the advantage of producing no harmful carcinogenic disinfection by‐products compared to chemical disinfection processes apart from sustainable alternative to chlorination. Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici is a phytopathogen which causes vascular wilt disease in tomato plants. The survival tactics of both pathogens and hosts depend on intricate interactions between host plants and pathogenic microbes. Iron‐binding proteins (IBPs) and copper‐binding proteins (CBPs) play a crucial role in these interactions by participating in enzyme reactions, virulence, metabolism, and transport processes. We employed high‐throughput computational tools at the sequence and structural levels to investigate the IBPs and CBPs of F. oxysporum. A total of 124 IBPs and 37 CBPs were identified in the proteome of Fusarium. The ranking of amino acids based on their affinity for binding with iron is Glu > His> Asp > Asn > Cys, and for copper is His > Asp > Cys respectively. The functional annotation, determination of subcellular localization, and Gene Ontology analysis of these putative IBPs and CBPs have unveiled their potential involvement in a diverse array of cellular and biological processes. Three iron‐binding glycosyl hydrolase family proteins, along with four CBPs with carbohydrate‐binding domains, have been identified as potential effector candidates. These proteins are distinct from the host Solanum lycopersicum proteome. Moreover, they are known to be located extracellularly and function as enzymes that degrade the host cell wall during pathogen–host interactions. The insights gained from this report on the role of metal ions in plant–pathogen interactions can help develop a better understanding of their fundamental biology and control vascular wilt disease in tomato plants. The development of robust and high‐performance battery systems is crucial for the advancement of Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) vehicles for urban air mobility. This study evaluates the performance of different lithium‐ion battery chemistries under Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) load profiles. The actual flight data coupled with physical models is used to create discharge profiles for testing on developed lithium‐ion cells for eVTOLs. The performance of a standard liquid electrolyte (1.2 M LiPF6 in EC:EMC), labeled Gen‐2, is benchmarked and compared with a fast‐charging electrolyte (1.2 M LiFSI in EC:EMC), labeled XFC. Cell analysis involves the use of various techniques, such as impedance spectroscopy, polarization curves, and capacity retention measurements. Capacity retention is stable for both systems over 500 cycles, but unique discharge capacity trends are observed for different mission segments. During the initial takeoff hover stages, Gen‐2 electrolytes experience substantial voltage fade, while XFC electrolytes maintain consistent behavior. In general, the Gen‐2 electrolyte demonstrated lower discharge overpotentials and higher decay during cycling compared to the XFC electrolyte. This work highlights the complexity of eVTOL battery behavior and provides insights into battery system design, contributing to the advancement of battery energy storage solutions for urban air mobility. There is a need for increasing cropping intensity in South Asia including India to ensure food security of burgeoning population. Accordingly, increasing cropping intensity in rainfed rice fallows can be a futuristic strategy. Identification of suitable cultivar and exploration of genetic variability of specific crops/traits are imperative for genetic improvement, drought resistance and yield gain in rice fallows. We evaluated the morphophysiological, yield traits and stability of 15 chickpea genotypes in randomised complete block design for three consecutive years on a drought‐prone rainfed condition of Fluvisol in Kanpur, India. Among genotypes, 'IPC 2014‐55', 'IPC 2015‐44' and 'IPC 2011‐92' had 2%–10% higher relative water content (RWC) over 'ICC‐92944' (check cultivar). These genotypes did not differ for total chlorophyll content, root dry weight and nodule dry weight with 'ICC‐92944' and 'KWR 108' (wider adaptable cultivar of the region). The nitrogen balance index was higher in 'IPC 2011‐92', 'IPC 2014‐88' and 'IPC 2014‐55' by 5%–44% over check cultivar (p < 0.05). The membrane stability index was higher for 'IPC 2014‐55' (30%, p < 0.05) and 'IPC 2011‐92' (17%, p < 0.05) than 'ICC‐92944'. 'IPC 2011‐92', 'IPC 2014‐88' and 'IPC 2014‐55' (3 years mean) had 3%–24% higher plant dry weight than 'ICC‐92944'. Notably, 'IPC 2014‐55', 'IPC 2015‐44', 'IPC 2014‐88' and 'IPC 2011‐92' had higher yield attributes such as pods plant−1 by 9%, grain weight plant−1 by 13% and 100‐seed weight by 3% than 'ICC‐92944' and 'KWR 108' (mean of years). These genotypes had higher mean seed yield than 'ICC‐92944' by 23%–42% and 'KWR 108' by 7%–23% (p < 0.05). The yield of 'IPC 2014‐55', 'IPC 2015‐44', 'IPC 2014‐88' and 'IPC 2011‐92' were stable over years across variable soil and environmental condition as indicated by the genotype × year biplot. Membrane stability index, pods plant−1 and 100‐seed weight were the determinants for increased seed yield of chickpea under drought‐prone condition. Evidently, genotype 'IPC 2014‐55', 'IPC 2015‐44', 'IPC 2014‐88' and 'IPC 2011‐92' were better under rainfed rice fallows. Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is a foodborne virus transmitted through the faecal–oral route that causes viral hepatitis in humans worldwide. Ever since its discovery as a zoonotic agent, HEV was isolated from several species with an expanding range of hosts. HEV possesses several features of other RNA viruses but also has certain HEV‐specific traits that make its viral–host interactions inimitable. HEV leads to severe morbidity and mortality in immunocompromised people and pregnant women across the world. The situation in underdeveloped countries is even more alarming. Even after creating a menace across the world, we still lack an effective vaccine against HEV. Till date, there is only one licensed vaccine for HEV available only in China. The development of an anti‐HEV vaccine that can reduce HEV‐induced morbidity and mortality is required. Live attenuated and killed vaccines against HEV are not accessible due to the lack of a tolerant cell culture system, slow viral replication kinetics and varying growth conditions. Thus, the main focus for anti‐HEV vaccine development is now on the molecular approaches. In the current study, we have designed a multi‐epitope vaccine against HEV through a reverse vaccinology approach. For the first time, we have used viral ORF3, capsid protein and polyprotein altogether for epitope prediction. These are crucial for viral replication and persistence and are major vaccine targets against HEV. The proposed in silico vaccine construct comprises of highly immunogenic and antigenic T‐cell and B‐cell epitopes of HEV proteins. The construct is capable of inducing an effective and long‐lasting host immune response as evident from the simulation results. In addition, the construct is stable, non‐allergic and antigenic for the host. The research aims to forecast the mechanical performance of a hybrid woven fabric natural composite subjected to compression, utilizing the three‐dimensional finite element method. A detailed finite element model of a plain woven fabric unit cell is created and analyzed for different materials like flax, basalt, and jute, and combinations of these materials (inter‐yarn hybrid basalt‐flax, jute‐flax and basalt‐jute fabrics). It is observed that fabric's response to compression is mainly influenced by the transverse longitudinal shear behaviour and the stiffness of the yarn cross‐section. Compression of single‐layer woven fabric involves yarn bending and compaction, resulting in varying fiber volume fractions in different areas due to compaction. The basalt‐jute hybrid plain woven fabric outperformed other plant‐based fiber fabrics with a polypropylene matrix in terms of mechanical performance under compression. Increase in yarn spacing and fabric thickness resulted in higher strain energy and displacement, attributed to changes in fiber volume fraction and crimp angle. Whereas, increasing yarn width led to a stiffer fabric due to increased contact area at the crossover region and higher bending rigidity, resulting in decreased strain energy and displacement. The presence of undesired agrochemicals residues in soil and water poses risks to both human health and the environment. The behavior of pesticides in soil depends both on the physico‐chemical properties of pesticides and soil type. This study examined the adsorption–desorption and leaching behavior of the maize herbicide tembotrione in soils of the upper (UGPZ), trans (TGPZ) and middle Gangetic plain zones of India. Soil samples were extracted using acetone followed by partitioning with dichloromethane, whereas liquid–liquid extraction using dichloromethane was used for aqueous samples. Residues of tembotrione and its metabolite TCMBA, {2‐chloro‐4‐(methylsulfonyl)‐3‐[(2,2,2‐trifluoroethoxy) methyl] benzoic acid}, were quantified using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry. The data revealed that tembotrione adsorption decreased with increasing pH and dissolved organic matter but increased with salinity. The maximum adsorption occurred at pH 4, 0.01 m sodium citrate and 4 g/L NaCl, with corresponding Freundlich constants of 1.83, 2.28 and 3.32, respectively. The hysteresis index <1 indicated faster adsorption than desorption. Leaching studies under different flow conditions revealed least mobility in UGPZ soil and high mobility in TGPZ soil, consistent with groundwater ubiquity scores of 4.27 and 4.81, respectively. Soil amendments decreased tembotrione mobility in the order: unamended > wheat straw ash > wheat straw > farm yard manure > compost. A multi‐modal diagnostic approach with cardiac imaging tools, cardiac hemodynamic measurements, and tissue biopsy can be used to diagnose Constrictive Pericarditis. Constrictive Pericarditis is a rare complication resulting in the fibrotic conversion of the pericardium secondary to idiopathic, infective, post‐surgical, or post‐radiation etiologies. The rigid and restrictive nature of the pericardium can result in non‐specific symptoms of volume overload that can mimic liver cirrhosis or congestive heart failure. We present the case of a 73‐year‐old female with constrictive pericarditis who presented with vague symptoms of abdominal pain, abdominal bloating, and bilateral lower extremity edema. Objective. Describe continuous infusion (CI) ketamine practices in pediatric intensive care units (PICUs) and evaluate its effect on pain/sedation scores, exposure to analgesics/sedatives, and adverse effects (AEs). Methods. Multicenter, retrospective, observational study in children <18 years who received CI ketamine between 2014 and 2017. Time spent in goal pain/sedation score range and daily cumulative doses of analgesics/sedatives were compared from the 24 hours (H) prior to CI ketamine to the first 24H and 25−48H of the CI. Adverse effects were collected over the first 7 days of CI ketamine. Results. Twenty‐four patients from 4 PICUs were included; median (IQR) age 7 (1‐13.25) years, 54% female (n = 13), 92% intubated (n = 22), 25% on CI vasopressors (n = 6), and 33% on CI paralytics (n = 8). Ketamine indications were analgesia/sedation (n = 21, 87.5%) and status epilepticus (n = 3, 12.5%). Median starting dose was 0.5 (0.48–0.70) mg/kg/hr and continued for a median of 2.4 (1.3–4.4) days. There was a significant difference in mean proportion of time spent within goal pain score range (24H prior: 74% ± 14%, 0–24H: 85% ± 10%, and 25−48H: 72% ± 20%; p = 0.014). A significant reduction in median morphine milligram equivalents (MME) was seen (24H prior: 58 (8–195) mg vs. 0–24H: 4 (0–69) mg and p = 0.01), but this was not sustained (25−48H: 24 (2–246) mg and p = 0.29). Common AEs were tachycardia (63%), hypotension (54%), secretions/suctioning (29%), and emergence reactions (13%). Conclusions. Ketamine CI improved time in goal pain score range and significantly reduced MME, but this was not sustained. Larger prospective studies are needed in the pediatric population. Thyroid nodules are commonly diagnosed with ultrasonography, which includes internal characteristics, varying looks, and hazy boundaries, making it challenging for a clinician to differentiate between malignant and benign forms based only on visual identification. The advancement of AI, particularly DL, provides significant breakthroughs in the domain of medical image identification. Yet, there are certain obstacles to achieving accuracy as well as efficacy in thyroid nodule detection. The thyroid nodules in this study are detected and classified using an inventive hybrid deep learning‐assisted multi‐classification method. The median blur method is applied in this work to eliminate the salt and pepper noise from the image. Then MPIU‐Net‐based segmentation is utilized to segment the image. The LGBPNP‐based features are retrieved from the segmented image to obtain a single histogram sequence of the LGBP pattern in addition to other features like extraction of multi‐texton and LTP‐based features. After the feature extraction, the data augmentation process is applied and then the features are fed to the hybrid classification‐based nodule classification model that comprises Deep Maxout and CNN, this hybrid classification trains the features and predicts the thyroid nodule. Additionally, the TIRADS score classification is used for the projected malignant thyroid nodule coupled with statistical features collected from the segmented. The DBNAAF with transfer learning model is employed to classify the grading of malignant thyroid nodules, where the weights of the model are learned with transfer learning. Recorded earthquake‐induced changes in hydrogeological systems date back over 2,000 years. As a part of our ongoing hydrogeochemical monitoring effort to study such changes, we collected 406 groundwater samples twice a week between February 2021 and July 2023 from two bore wells in the Kopili fault zone of Northeast India. We analyzed stable isotope ratios (δ2H, δ18O) and dissolved element concentrations to obtain a 2.5‐year hydrogeochemical time series and responses to multiple regional earthquakes (Mw ≥ 3) within the monitored period. We find significant but transient anomalies in both the chemical and isotopic composition of groundwater at one of the observation wells (OW1) after the 2021 Assam Mw 6.4 earthquake, followed by prolonged alterations in the hydrochemistry at both wells. We do not identify any precursory changes. Using multivariate statistical techniques and analyzing compositional changes before and after the mainshock, we infer that the hydrochemical anomalies at OW1, representing an immediate response to the mainshock, can be attributed to the potential breach of a hydrological barrier. This, in turn, allowed the infiltration of new water into the OW1 aquifer, potentially sourced from the nearby Brahmaputra River. Subsequently, during the post‐anomaly period, the earthquake‐induced fracturing and the associated changes in permeability sustained a prolonged period of mixing between surface water and groundwater, resulting in newly formed hydrochemistry at both wells. Our findings highlight the dynamic nature of aquifer properties during earthquakes. Long‐term continuous evaluation of such changes may provide new insights into feedback between tectonics and fluid flow in the crust. Plain Language Summary: When an earthquake occurs, it not only shakes the surface of the solid earth but also has the potential to alter the composition of groundwater by deforming or fracturing the subsurface. We monitored groundwater chemistry to document changes connected to earthquakes, searching for changes before and after earthquakes. Using two observation wells in Guwahati, Northeast India, following a magnitude 6.4 earthquake in April 2021, we observed significant changes. We did not identify any significant changes in groundwater chemistry before the earthquake. However, we detected anomalies within 2 weeks after the earthquake. We explain these changes as the result of a hydrological barrier being ruptured, allowing infiltration of surface water from the nearby Brahmaputra River into the aquifer. Following the anomaly, there was a prolonged period of mixing between groundwater and surface water for 6 months, leading to a new and stable water chemistry for the remainder of our 2.5‐year monitoring period. Our findings highlight the dynamic nature of aquifer responses during earthquakes. This underscores the importance of ongoing monitoring efforts to better understand the intricate relationship between earthquakes and groundwater. An ultranarrow‐band ultraviolet (UV) GaN detector with a simple device architecture is presented. The device displays an ultranarrow band response centred at 366 nm with only ≈5 nm width, a UV–visible rejection ratio of >2 × 103, and detectivity of 1.3 × 1010 Jones at room temperature. The device is tested over a wide temperature range where the maximum response is recorded at 200 K. Temperature dependence of device response is explained by considering the thermal activation of shallow donors in low‐temperature regime and the establishment of thermal equilibrium of the donor level with conduction band at elevated temperatures. Moreover, the device displays three orders UV‐to‐visible rejection ratio over a wide temperature range of 150–350 K, showing great potential for narrowband UV detection even at elevated temperatures. Conventional and pump‐probe surface photovoltage spectroscopy measurements are performed with UV and infrared lasers to identify the electronic transitions associated with the narrowband response. It is understood that carrier excitation from valance band to shallow donor level in the interfacial depletion region is responsible for the observed behavior. The results presented here demonstrate an innovative methodology for achieving a stable and high spectrum‐selective UV photodetection without involving complex device architecture. The pervasive utilization of plastic as a cost‐effective packaging material for food has led to environmental concerns, primarily due to its non‐biodegradable nature and the ensuing release of carbon dioxide gas that contributes to global warming. In response to these challenges, researchers have shifted their focus toward biopolymers to develop eco‐friendly packaging solutions. The present study introduces a novel approach to study the release of micronutrient (Fe) from clay free starch‐glycerol film and clay‐starch‐glycerol composite film. The structural composition and characteristics of the synthesized film are meticulously examined using x‐ray diffraction (XRD), ATR, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy analytical techniques. Notably, XRD analysis reveals a significant interaction between the starch chains and Mt through hydrogen bonding, indicative of starch and glycerol intercalation within the nanoclay gallery—a phenomenon further corroborated by IR spectra analysis. The nanoclay‐infused starch/glycerol composite film exhibits a noteworthy 2.22‐fold increase in water vapor permeability compared to clay free film, attributed to the formation of a convoluted diffusion path indicating the enhancement of the barrier performance of starch‐based films. Comparative evaluations against earlier studies are undertaken to elucidate the advancements in barrier properties, subsequently elucidating the underlying mechanisms through analytical interpretations. From the release study, the release of Fe2+ from the film with clay was observed to be more prolonged compared to a film without clay. This manuscript is reporting hydrogen adsorption uptake of PCN‐250(Fe) metal organic framework (MOF) at temperature of 300, 126K, and pressure in between 6 and 10 bar. X‐ray diffraction spectrum of PCN‐250(Fe) confirms crystalline structure, however Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectrum showing dominant bonding structure of COOH, N = N, and Fe─O functional groups. SEM images confirm surface morphology as an octahedrons of average crystalline size upto 50 µm. Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) confirms excellent thermal stability upto 450 °C. The hydrogen adsorption uptake of 0.80 wt% has been found at 126 K and pressure of 10 bar attributes adsorption occurs due to the structural and physical properties like topology, porosity, and presence of open metal sites as well as surface area. In the pursuit of sustainable and high‐performance materials, this study presents a groundbreaking approach to enhance the mechanical properties of glass fiber‐reinforced polymer composites. Railway waste provides an unexpected source of recycled glass fibers (RGFs), which, when combined with bamboo fibers (BFs) and nano SiO2 in a resilient epoxy matrix, unleashes a transformative synergy. The epoxy‐SiO2 matrix ratio was kept constant, that is,70% by weight while varying the ratio of RGF and BFs weight. The experimental results demonstrated notable improvements in mechanical properties. Specifically, a 36.92% increase in tensile strength was observed with an RGF and BF ratio of 20:10. Flexural strength exhibited a substantial enhancement of 44.67%, and impact strength increased by 31.28% at a ratio of 15:15. The composite achieved a remarkable 42.64% improvement in hardness, while attaining the lowest density value of 0.862 at a ratio of 25:05.Water absorption tests, conducted in both distilled and saline water, provided insights into the material's resistance to environmental conditions. The morphological and dispersion behaviors of the prepared composites were analyzed using advanced characterization techniques, including field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FE‐SEM) to study the orientation, shape, and size of fibers and particles, bonding between the fibers and matrix, defects, voids, etc. Combined with energy dispersive x‐ray spectroscopy (EDX), FESEM allows for elemental analysis, helping to identify and quantify the chemical composition of different phases within the polymer composite. Loss of a lower limb leads to immobility, necessitating the use of prosthetic foot and socket as substitutes for lost limbs. However, the production of these prosthetic devices poses challenges due to the wide array of printing settings, materials, and post‐processing techniques involved. The objectives of this study were to examine the compression and flexural behavior of polylactic acid reinforced with carbon fiber fabricated via fused filament fabrication (FFF) and to investigate the effects of process constraints, namely nozzle hole diameter (0.20, 0.40, and 0.60 mm) and internal filling pattern (rectilinear, honeycomb, and triangle). The study employed compression and flexural tests, along with the analysis of failure morphology, on build samples. The resulting data were analyzed using Taguchi ANOVA and response surface methodology (RSM) to determine how compression and flexural behavior vary with the specified process constraints. The research findings demonstrate that the prosthetic socket and foot prosthesis created using FFF exhibit superior flexural and compressive behavior and strength, respectively. These results signify the potential for cost reduction in the production of prosthetic devices. Summary: To increase rice yields and feed billions of people, it is essential to enhance genetic gains. However, the development of new varieties is hindered by longer generation times and seasonal constraints. To address these limitations, a speed breeding facility has been established and a robust speed breeding protocol, SpeedFlower is developed that allows growing 4–5 generations of indica and/or japonica rice in a year. Our findings reveal that a high red‐to‐blue (2R > 1B) spectrum ratio, followed by green, yellow and far‐red (FR) light, along with a 24‐h long day (LD) photoperiod for the initial 15 days of the vegetative phase, facilitated early flowering. This is further enhanced by 10‐h short day (SD) photoperiod in the later stage and day and night temperatures of 32/30 °C, along with 65% humidity facilitated early flowering ranging from 52 to 60 days at high light intensity (800 μmol m−2 s−1). Additionally, the use of prematurely harvested seeds and gibberellic acid treatment reduced the maturity duration by 50%. Further, SpeedFlower was validated on a diverse subset of 198 rice accessions from 3K RGP panel encompassing all 12 distinct groups of Oryza sativa L. classes. Our results confirmed that using SpeedFlower one generation can be achieved within 58–71 days resulting in 5.1–6.3 generations per year across the 12 sub‐groups. This breakthrough enables us to enhance genetic gain, which could feed half of the world's population dependent on rice. We've developed a robust SpeedFlower protocol for rapid rice breeding, enabling 4–5 generations of indica and/or japonica rice annually. The SpeedFlower protocol was validated on 198 diverse rice accessions, representing all 12 sub‐groups of Oryza sativa L. With a timeframe of 58–71 days per generation, we achieved 5.1–6.3 generations per year. Summary: Germination of Bacillus cereus spores followed by growth and replication of the vegetative cells in food can result in food poisoning and therefore significant economic and health impacts. This study explores a novel approach to detect and differentiate spores and germinated B. cereus cells using hyperspectral imaging (HSI) in combination with machine learning using three different germination triggers. HSI could successfully differentiate between dormant spores, germinated cells and structural controls (non‐spores). The spectral data in the visible‐near‐infrared range are sensitive to unique structural and chemical characteristics specific to spores, setting them apart from their vegetative counterparts and non‐biological controls. This non‐destructive and robust approach shows significant potential for detection and assessment of the physiological state (dormant or germinated). In this study, strontium‐doped mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (Sr‐MBGNs) were incorporated into a poly(xylitol‐citrate‐sebacate) (PXCS) matrix using solution mixing techniques. The resulting composites, including PXCS, PXCS/1.5% Sr‐MBGNs, PXCS/3% Sr‐MBGNs, and PXCS/5% Sr‐MBGNs, were characterized for biomedical applications using FTIR, DSC, and x‐ray diffraction analyses. High‐resolution scanning electron microscopy (HRSEM) and a universal testing machine were employed to investigate the structure, morphology, and mechanical properties of the polymer and its nanocomposites. Our findings indicate that the introduction of polymer and its nanocomposites minimally affects the glass transition and crystallinity. The observed decrease in glass transition temperature with increasing Sr‐MBGNs content suggests a plasticizing effect. These results are consistent with previous studies. Additionally, in vitro studies were conducted to evaluate antibacterial properties, VERO cell line proliferation, degradation, and swelling percentage of the scaffolds. Metal ions release behavior was assessed using inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP‐AES) Furthermore, the drug loading and release of curcumin from PXCS/5% Sr‐MBGNs and PXCS/Sr‐MBGNs nanocomposite scaffolds were investigated at varying pH levels (pH: 5.5, 6.8, and 7.4). Bioactive glasses have been shown effective in promoting bone healing by interacting with the body, gradual degradation, and supporting new bone growth. They present a promising option for therapies aimed at regenerating bone tissue. In this study, we developed a novel material, PXMA/n‐BG, by combining xylitol, maleic acid, and adipic acid, and incorporating nano‐bioactive glass, all synthesized without the use of a catalyst. The sol–gel method was used to fabricate the n‐BG (SiO2–CaO–P2O5). The incorporation of n‐BG into the polymer was found to enhance its biocompatibility and effectiveness for orthopedic applications. The synthesized polymer and its nanocomposite were characterized by FTIR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, DSC, GPC, UTM, XRD and HR‐SEM. X‐ray diffraction and high‐resolution scanning electron microscopy are utilized to investigate the structure and surface of the n‐BG and polymeric composite material. The strength and flexibility of a plastic material with tiny particles mixed in were tested using a universal testing machine. We examined the elemental composition and thermal stability of n‐BG through specialized testing like energy‐dispersive X‐ray analysis (EDX) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The research focused on the potential of xylitol‐based polymer and its nanocomposite to inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in food. We conducted experiments to determine the efficacy of the antibacterial substance against various bacteria strains. The antibacterial potential of the extracts was assessed by the agar diffusion method using MHA plate. De‐aliasing products are used in the estimation process of satellite‐based gravity field computation to reduce errors from high‐frequency mass variations that alias into monthly gravity fields. The latest official product is AOD1B RL07 and describes non‐tidal atmosphere and oceanic mass variations at 3‐hourly resolution. However, the model‐based de‐aliasing products are inevitably incomplete and prone to temporally and spatially correlated errors that substantially contribute to errors in the estimated gravity fields. Here, we investigate possible enhancement of current de‐aliasing products by nesting a regional high‐resolution atmospheric reanalysis over Europe into a global reanalysis. As further novelty we include almost mass consistent terrestrial water storage variability from a regional hydrological model nested into a global model as additional component of the de‐aliasing product. While we find in agreement with earlier studies only minor contributions from increasing the temporal resolution beyond 3‐hourly data, our investigations suggest that contributions from continental hydrology and from regional non‐hydrostatic atmospheric modeling to sub‐monthly mass variations could be relevant already for gravity fields estimated from current gravity missions. Moreover, in the context of extreme events, we find regionally contributions from additional moisture fields, such as cloud liquid water, in the order of a few mm over Europe. We suggest this needs to be taken into account when preparing data analysis schemes for future space gravimetric missions. Plain Language Summary: Observing temporal variations in the Earth's gravity field with satellite gravimetry plays an essential role for monitoring mass transports on and underneath the Earth's surface. This is crucial for understanding the evolution of floods and droughts, the role of groundwater pumping, and to quantify the melting of ice sheets and glaciers and the resulting sea level rise. In order to isolate the target variable (e.g., terrestrial water storage changes) unwanted signals (e.g., fast mass variations in the atmosphere) need to be removed in the gravity field estimation process using background models, so‐called de‐aliasing models. This paper focuses on improving background models by incorporating regional high‐resolution models, which more specifically resolve certain processes in the atmosphere. Our hypothesis is that this will lead to better gravity fields with increased spatial resolution and less noise. Moreover, we find that considering fast hydrological variations as additional background model could improve gravity fields from the current satellite mission GRACE‐FO. For the first time, we quantify contributions from so far neglected atmospheric moisture fields, such as cloud liquid water, to enhance background models in the context of extreme events—which, however, will likely be in particular relevant for more sensitive gravity missions in the future. The present work describes the landscape of polymeric composites using laminated object manufacturing (LOM) and fused deposition modeling (FDM). This paper discusses recent publications in the realm of AM related to composite fabrication, materials, techniques, functionality, and future scope. The effects of nanofiller reinforcement on the mechanical properties of composites have been thoroughly investigated. Furthermore, FDM process parameters such as layer thickness, infill speed, nozzle temperature, and raster angle have also been considered. The Shillong Plateau in the Eastern Himalayas is exposed to high seismicity, neo‐tectonic activity and orographic precipitation that aggravated landslides in the region by affecting hillslope processes. Landscape development is influenced by landslide phenomenon and depends upon geomorphic processes and geomorphodiversity (GmD). It is linked intimately with geomorphology, hydrology and soil type. This study uses a remote sensing and GIS‐based approach to assess the spatial linkage between GmD and landslide distribution in Meghalaya (India). GmD index (GmDI) is developed using geological, morphometric and geomorphological parameters and analysed with landslide distribution. The landslide distribution considering land use/cover change (LUCC) is also examined. The result shows that the region with high‐relief, valley and depression zone, mainly along the Dauki fault, have a high to a very high GmDI. About 61% of landslide localities are in zones of high GmDI, concentrated in the central and eastern parts of Meghalaya. Density analysis of the very high class (class 5) of GmD confirms the same. Most of these landslides occur in dense and light‐vegetated landmasses. However, the LUCC analysis reveals a significant increase in the built area on steeper slopes (average expansion ratio of 2.30 for slopes >15°) between 2017 and 2022, indicating a rising threat of landslides in urban areas of Meghalaya. The study presents the importance of GmD in active tectonic regions with particular reference to landslide potential and recent LUCC. Direct ink writing (DIW) is a rapidly expanding additive manufacturing (AM) technique valued for its cost-efficiency and material adaptability. While DIW offers substantial process flexibility, achieving precise manufacturing demands a thorough understanding of its printability parameters. Key process variables such as printing speed, nozzle-bed gap, pulses for extrusion, and extrusion multiplier wield significant influence over the shape and dimensions of printed components. In this study, a machine learning model based on k-nearest neighbors is employed to predict dimensional accuracy. The model is trained using measured width and thickness data from printed rings, with flow and printing-speed tests defining parameter boundaries for printing. The final model demonstrates an accuracy of 81% and 74% for two PDMS-CNT composite ink compositions. The principal components analysis underscores the pivotal roles of the extrusion factor and printing speed in achieving superior geometric fidelity. Additionally, retraction-residual tests were conducted, revealing that the initial 10 seconds of extrusion hold critical importance as they can lead to distortions when traversing printed regions or perimeters, necessitating consideration in part design. To evaluate layer adhesion strength, a crucial aspect of AM, T-peel tests were performed. Furthermore, rheological tests provided insights into extrudability, printable reinforcing percentages, shape retention, and yield stress. Herein, density functional theory‐based comparative studies on cubic CsMX3 (M‐: Pb, Sn, Ge; X‐: Cl, Br, I) and rhombohedral CsGeI3 perovskites are reported. The structural stability indicator analysis shows that Ge‐based perovskites may exhibit small rhombohedral distortion led by lone pair (4s2$s^{2}$) electrons on off‐centering Ge atom. The role of lone pair on Ge atom in rhombohedral distortion is corroborated by bond length, electronegativity, and charge density distributions. Nearly agreeable bandgap (Eg$E_{g}$) values are noticed for cubic CsPbX3 (X‐: Cl, Br, I) and rhombohedral CsGeI3, and the corresponding values are 3.04, 2.30, 1.72, and 1.45 eV, respectively. The effect of Jishi et al. reparameteried Tran–Blaha‐modified Becke–Johnson exchange‐correlation (XC) potential is discussed in context of optoelectronic properties. The changes in bandgap are attributed to the lifting of electronic degeneracy either by spin‐orbit coupling or symmetry lowering in rhombohedral distortion. The rhombohedral CsGeI3 is thus further emphasized to account its ferroelectricity with computed total polarization (ΔP$\DeltaP$) around 32.75 μC cm−2. The suitable Eg$E_{g}$ (1.45 eV), high absorption (≈105 cm−1), tolerable reflectivity (19%), and carrier effective masses (0.61 and 0.27) enable rhombohedral CsGeI3 (superior 30.5% spectroscopy‐limited maximum efficiency [SLME] at 1 μm thickness) to outperform conventional CsPbI3 (27.6% SLME at 1 μm) and others which may attract PV community to further address its underexplored promise. Maize (Zea mays L.) is a versatile crop with high genetic yield potential and various uses. While yellow maize is primarily used for animal feed, white maize is preferred as a food by rural and tribal populations in India. However, white maize landraces suffer immensely in terms of low yield. Heterotic grouping is an excellent method to develop hybrids with increased yield potential in maize. The heterotic grouping of 78 white maize inbred lines was performed using combining ability and molecular diversity analysis. The lines were crossed with two testers, and the resulting hybrids were evaluated for grain yield at three locations representing different agroecological zones in India. The combining ability analysis based on specific combining ability effects on mean grain yield was used to classify the inbred lines into heterotic groups (HG‐A: 18 inbreds; HG‐B: 33 inbreds). Additionally, marker‐based clustering using 62,470 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) generated through genotyping by sequencing was also employed to determine the genetic relationships among these lines. The combining ability information was superimposed on marker‐based clustering data to obtain the heterotic grouping information, and two distinct HGs with 7 (HG‐1) and 18 inbred lines (HG‐2) were developed. The results of this study will contribute to the development of high‐performing white maize hybrids through the efficient utilization of clear‐cut and well‐defined HGs. Hence, the use of SNP markers along with the combining ability of inbred lines is a useful method for heterotic grouping and understanding of genetic relationships of white maize.
