This article discusses a case of chronic vomiting in a 16-year-old female. The patient had a history of a pancreatic tumor and liver lesion, which were successfully treated with surgery. However, she continued to experience vomiting post-surgery, leading to weight loss and other complications. After further investigation, it was determined that the vomiting was psychogenic and related to an eating disorder. The patient received outpatient treatment and behavioral interventions, which resulted in weight gain and stabilization. The article highlights the importance of considering eating disorders as a potential cause of chronic vomiting and emphasizes the need for a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
