A 43-year-old woman with Bell's palsy was treated with ultrasound-guided perineural corticosteroid injection after a 24-day course of oral methylprednisolone. The patient showed improvement in facial symmetry and motor nerve amplitudes after the injection. Ultrasound examination allowed for precise localization of the inflamed facial nerve, contributing to better recovery with fewer side effects. This case study highlights the potential role of ultrasound in the management of Bell's palsy. [Extracted from the article]
