Abstract

The article presents a case of a 4-year old girl from Bangladesh who has suffered from a condition called Acute Pancreatitis which is caused by Salmonella typhi, commonly a known causative agent for typhoid fever. Experts states that the pancreas might be affected during the septicemic stage of the typoih fever, though they also are amenable that this condition is rarely to happen.
