Clickjacking is a fast‐growing threat for users online. Here, an attacker program shows a user‐interface (UI) which is entirely out of context, by concealing a very sensitive UI element and rendering it in such a way that it is not visible (transparent) to the end user. The user is then tricked into clicking on the hidden element. By exploiting cameras and publishing unwanted messages, these attacks have the potential to do significant harm. Many websites still lack server‐side minimum security (eg, X‐Frame‐Options header, Content‐Security‐Policy Header, etc) and are hence susceptible to clickjacking. Additionally, client‐side defense methods fare poorly and are ineffective against advanced clickjacking attack types. This paper focuses on dealing with the detection of a possibility of a website being clickjacked. It also predicts the Level of Security of a website against a clickjacking attack and the possible security countermeasures that could be taken to avoid a clickjacking attack on the website. The consistent finding that internationally coauthored papers are more heavily cited has led to a tacit agreement among politicians and scientists that international collaboration in scientific research should be particularly promoted. However, existing studies of research collaboration suffer from a major weakness in that the Thomson Reuters Web of Science until recently did not link author names with affiliation addresses. The general approach has been to hierarchically code papers into international paper, national paper, or local paper based on the address information. This hierarchical coding scheme severely understates the level and contribution of local or national collaboration on an internationally coauthored paper. In this research, I code collaboration variables by hand checking each paper in the sample, use two measures of a paper's impact, and try several regression models. I find that both international collaboration and local collaboration are positively and significantly associated with a paper's impact, but international collaboration does not have more epistemic authority than local collaboration. With more and more information available on the Internet, the task of making personalized recommendations to assist the user's navigation has become increasingly important. Considering there might be millions of users with different backgrounds accessing a Web site everyday, it is infeasible to build a separate recommendation system for each user. To address this problem, clustering techniques can first be employed to discover user groups. Then, user navigation patterns for each group can be discovered, to allow the adaptation of a Web site to the interest of each individual group. In this paper, we propose to model user access sequences as stochastic processes, and a mixture of Markov models based approach is taken to cluster users and to capture the sequential relationships inherent in user access histories. Several important issues that arise in constructing the Markov models are also addressed. The first issue lies in the complexity of the mixture of Markov models. To improve the efficiency of building/maintaining the mixture of Markov models, we develop a lightweight adapt-ive algorithm to update the model parameters without recomputing model parameters from scratch. The second issue concerns the proper selection of training data for building the mixture of Markov models. We investigate two different training data selection strategies and perform extensive experiments to compare their effectiveness on a real dataset that is generated by a Web-based knowledge management system, Livelink. In this paper, we present a framework for clustering Web search engine queries whose aim is to identify groups of queries used to search for similar information on the Web. The framework is based on a novel term vector model of queries that integrates user selections and the content of selected documents extracted from the logs of a search engine. The query representation obtained allows us to treat query clustering similarly to standard document clustering. We study the application of the clustering framework to two problems: relevance ranking boosting and query recommendation. Finally, we evaluate with experiments the effectiveness of our approach. Writing assignments offer valuable student learning experiences in both live and online courses. But concerns about the challenges and extra work of marking, and about plagiarism, often deter instructors from using them. I used a writing assignment successfully over 20 years in a one‐term invertebrate biology course, despite enrolments exceeding 100. Structured to maximally engage students yet minimize marking load, the assignment often yielded gems of stories for use in subsequent lectures. The Annotated Bibliography assignment asks students: (a) to précis the justification, main results, and significance of three papers from the primary scientific literature in under 250 words each, and (b) to provide a short (150 word) summary of the broader story connecting the three papers. Students liked this assignment because they could choose any aspect of the biology of any invertebrate genus. This inspired them to explore the literature out of personal interest. It's appealing for instructors, because annotations are compact and therefore easy to read, mark, and inspect for plagiarism. It is appealing to host universities, because it generates extensive use of library resources and motivates students to learn how to use them, and online taxonomic databases, effectively. Here I provide: (a) instructions for this assignment, (b) a straightforward marking rubric, (c) two examples of excellent submissions, and (d) comments on the risk and extent of plagiarism. Appendices provide: detailed instructions, a sample annotation with comments to guide student writing, an online submission web page, an online administrator web page, and PHP scripts for both web pages. Finally, I summarize topics and taxa from nearly 2,000 submissions. The five most popular taxa were cephalopods, insects, malacostracan crustaceans, gastropods, and arachnids. This study presents a bibliometric overview of accounting research using the Web of Science database, identifying the most relevant research in the field classified by papers, authors, journals, institutions and countries. The results show that the most influential journals are: The Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, The Accounting Review and Accounting, Organizations and Society. It also shows that US institutions are the most influential worldwide. However, it is important to note that some very good research in this area, including a small number of papers and citations, may not show up in this study due to the specific characteristics of different subtopics. To improve the effect of web page information extraction, this paper proposes an improved information extraction method of mixed text density grids. Under various power constraints of the relay node itself, this paper proposes a design scheme of joint beamforming and artificial noise based on safety and rate maximisation. Furthermore, with the help of semidefinite relaxation techniques and first‐order approximations, it can be approximated as a semidefinite programming problem that is easy to solve. In addition, this paper uses an iterative algorithm based on a continuous convex approximation to process data to improve the accuracy of web page data extraction. The polar cap magnetic activity index (PC) was approved by IAGA as an index characterizing the solar wind energy input into the magnetosphere. Relation of the PC index to solar wind parameters and solar activity during 23/24 solar cycles has been studied in paper (Troshichev et al., 2021, https://doi.org/10.1029/2020JA028491). The paper was commented by Dr. Stauning, who states that results obtained in the study are based on erroneous data presented on web site http://pcindex.org. According to Dr. Stauning, the following invalidities served as a reason for this assertion: incorrect determination of quiet daily curve (QDC), taken as reference level for counting the PC index value, and incorrect QDC amplitudes, incorrect yearly average values of PC index (and EKL field), incorrect methods of the analysis. In our answer we argue the correctness of our analysis and resulted conclusions. Plain Language Summary: The quality of the IAGA endorsed PC index is supplied by choice of proper quiet daily variation (QDC), which makes it possible to account the effect of irregular solar UV irradiation related to solar flares. This special features of the PC index derivation made it possible to reveal the correlation between the QDC amplitude and the solar flares intensity in course of solar 23/24 cycle. The value of the yearly PC index may be estimated with use of median or mean PC quantities, resulting in essential discrepancy of the deduced yearly PC index values. The relative values of median quantities were used in the analysis. The preliminary PCS indices turned out to be incorrectly evaluated in case of 4 months in 2011, but this circumstance did not affect the general regularity of PCN/PCS changes over period 1997–2019. Divergence between values of the corresponding PCN and PCS indices, typical of solstice seasons in periods of high solar activity, is conditioned by different conductivity of ionosphere in summer and winter polar caps, not by quality of the PCN or PCS indices. In recent years, the number of websites has been increasing, and with it, the number of similar services. As a result, UX is becoming more and more important to measure the differentiation of a website from its competitors, and UI plays a major role in improving UX. Website developers implement a development process called HCD to improve UI. However, in HCD, there is a gap between the perception of the evaluator and the developer, resulting in a lot of man‐hours. In this paper, we propose a method for evaluating web pages using GUI operations to solve this problem. We let the evaluator of the web page edit the web page by mouse operation from the browser, and feedback the result directly to the developer. As a result of the experiment, we were able to discover problems with the web pages that could not be obtained by the conventional questionnaire. End‐to‐end (E2E) testing is a commonly used technique for web application testing. Unlike traditional unit tests, E2E tests focus on test scenarios that target the entire business, which integrate and collaborate of various components and services to make the whole application work. As a result, one drawback of E2E tests is their longer execution time, seriously affecting testing efficiency of web applications. In order to speed up the execution of E2E tests for web applications, this paper proposes a test execution optimization approach based page state reuse. Through analyzing the common operations of E2E tests, a common prefix trees is constructed to organize the same operations among test scripts in a test suite of web applications. Under the guidance of the prefix tree, the optimal reusable state is identified and duplicated to maximize the utilization of page states triggered by the same operations, thereby reducing the overall execution time of the test suite. Besides, to realize page state reuse automatically, we design a browser process replication strategy, which implement querying the active page and duplicating the web page. To verify the effectiveness of our method, experiments and evaluations were conducted on 347 E2E tests from eight open‐source web applications, and the results showed that our approach reduced the E2E testing execution time for web applications by 52%–68%. COVID‐19 brought public health challenges to the public transport system throughout the world. As a result, a range of response measures were implemented to ensure the safety of passengers while maintaining a functioning system. This paper explores the responses of public transport agencies in New Zealand's metropolitan cities (Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington) to the COVID‐19 pandemic by examining their physical and communication measures. We analysed public transport agencies' websites to understand the response measures implemented, including the accessibility of COVID‐19‐related information, and the communication of information via websites and social media platforms. The results show that 13 service responses were implemented across the three public transport agencies, with Auckland implementing the most measures. Seven infrastructural responses were implemented, with Christchurch implementing all seven. Wellington was found to be the public transport agency that used social media the most during the pandemic. The website accessibility findings suggest that the more accessible a public transport agency's website was, the less information was present. The research concludes that all three public transport agencies in New Zealand performed reasonably well and were able to maintain a safe and responsive public transport system. In the present paper, we assess whether website rating systems are useful for selecting educational apps for preschool age children. We selected the 10 highest scoring and 10 lowest scoring apps for 2–4‐year‐olds from two widely used websites (Good App Guide; Common Sense Media). Apps rated highly by the two websites had a higher educational potential as assessed by a validated questionnaire for evaluating the educational potential of apps and were more likely to include a learning goal and feedback compared to low scoring apps. However, high scoring apps scored on average just 9/20 for indicators of educational potential, and both high and low scoring apps had poor language quality as determined by psycholinguistic and construction type analyses. We argue that website rating systems should also include quality of feedback, adjustable content, social interactions, storyline and a more fine‐grained analysis of language in their assessments. Summary: An efficient search engine needs to be designed in such a way that is able to provide relevant and accurate information in accordance with user needs and interests. The quality of downloaded records can be guaranteed only when website pages of high pertinence are downloaded by the crawlers in accordance with the current topics or user trends. Earlier Focused Crawlers were used to download topic specific pages but these crawlers were not able to adapt to the changing interest of the users. Therefore, there is a need to design crawlers that are able to naturally track the present pattern points and download site pages that meet client's present need. In this paper, a priority assigner and scheduler method for organizing Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) is being proposed that helps the crawler in tracking user's interest and prioritize downloading documents that are relevant to the user's choice in addition to current trends. The experimental results conforms that the proposed priority assigner and URL scheduler‐based crawling outshines conventional crawling strategies based on Change‐history or Site‐Map‐based methods in terms of quality of downloaded web pages and reducing network traffic over the Internet. iPhone operating system (iOS) devices utilize binary cookies as a data storage tool, encoding user-specific information within an often-neglected element of smartphone analysis. This binary format contains details such as cookie flags, expiration, and creation dates, domain, and value of the cookie. These data are invaluable for forensic investigations. This study presents a comprehensive methodology to decode and extract valuable data from these files, enhancing the ability to recover user activity information from iOS devices. This paper provides an in-depth forensic investigation into the structure and function of iOS binary cookie files. Our proposed forensic technique includes a combination of reverse engineering and custom-built Python scripts to decode the binary structure. The results of our research demonstrate that these cookie files can reveal an array of important digital traces, including user preferences, visited websites, and timestamps of online activities. It concludes that the forensic analysis of iOS binary cookie files can be a tool for forensic investigators and cybersecurity professionals. Irrelevant search results for a given topic end up wasting search engine users' time. A learning focused web crawler downloads relevant URLs for a given topic using machine‐learning algorithms. The dynamic nature of the web is a challenge in related computation for focused web crawlers. Studies have shown that the learning focused crawler utilizes term frequency‐inverse document frequency (TF‐IDF) to compute the relevance between a web page and a given topic. The TF‐IDF detects similarity of the given topic to its co‐occurrence on the web page. The necessity of efficient mechanism to compute the relevance of URLs syntactically and semantically has led to the proposal of this paper with a word embedding approach to compute the relevance of the web page. The global vector representation cosine similarity is calculated between a topic and the web page contents. The calculated cosine similarity is provided as input to the trained random forest classifier to predict the relevancy of the web page. The evaluation results proved that the proposed crawler produced an average hrate of 0.41 and prate of 0.59, which outperformed other learning‐focused crawlers on support vector machines, Naive Bayes and artificial neural networks. This study analyses and profiles public ancillary funds (PubAFs), charitable trusts that act as intermediaries between public donors and approved nonprofit beneficiary organisations. PubAFs are an important part of Australia's philanthropic landscape given their public benefit purpose, yet little is known about this sector's characteristics and identities. This paper examines PubAFs, analysing online databases and reports and PubAF websites (where available). Based on the analysis of data from three sources: the Australian Charities and Not‐for‐profits Commission, Australian Taxation Office, and websites of 991 PubAFs (where available), this study provides valuable insights for the public, philanthropic practitioners, and researchers. This paper measures and inclusively analyses the extent of Australian public universities' sustainability disclosures on three key reporting media, that is annual reports, stand‐alone sustainability reports, and websites. The study also compares the extent of the disclosures across university groupings. Content analysis was used to analyse the data by utilising the updated Graphical Assessment of Sustainability in Universities (GASU) indicators together with a weighted scoring scheme. Mann–Whitney and Kruskal–Wallis tests were applied in the comparison tests. The results of this study indicate that the extent of sustainability disclosures made by Australian public universities is overall fairly low, and the evaluation and comparison of the extent of sustainability disclosures among different university groupings overall show no significant difference. Overall, the findings suggest that there is a need to increase both the level of awareness and recognition of benefits resulted from performing sustainable development activities and the way these performances are better communicated to stakeholders. Recent years have seen increased attention to and motivation for addressing sexual violence. Physician sexual misconduct (PSM) represents a significant violation and abuse of power, with consequences for both patients and public trust in medicine. In the United States, the Federation of State Medical Boards released updated policies in 2020 imploring increased transparency and stronger punishments for PSM cases. This brief report presents an assessment of how transparent medical board websites are in disclosing PSM now 2 years after this policy paper. We reviewed the websites for all 50 states and Washington, DC, to examine how easily a consumer could find a list of board orders, profiles of licensees, and PSM case summaries. In total, 24 states provided a list of orders, and 21 states provided case summaries. Many barriers to finding clearly discussed PSM‐related information remain, including many outdated licensee profiles. Ideas for continued efforts to document and discuss PSM to help foster evidence‐based policy recommendations are presented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Summary: The purpose of this paper is to compare the end results generated after usability assessment by two different ways. The assessment of top‐fifty academic websites is done by employing the tool and by involving end‐users. This research work is performed to assess latest heuristic guidelines for academic websites under three different categories i.e. {Social Media, Mobile and Security} by involving a hundred end‐users as well as by evaluating the websites using the tool. Association rule is implemented on the collected qualitative data to recognize common usability problem patterns pertaining to academic websites but from two uncommon perspectives. This study further compares these problematic patterns to provide more comprehensive analysis. Our findings investigate that most of the usability problems have been uncovered by the end‐users on academic websites that are not detected by tool. In other words, there are several key features that these tools are failed to evaluate. On the contrary, end‐users can help in evaluating these features and uncover remarkable usability problematic issues on any interactive system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The claim in the literature that modern Web-based information systems (IS) demand new development paradigms. The author questions some assumptions and draws attention to misconceptions in critical IS research and thus contributes to understanding its nature and importance.

Metro or transit maps, are schematic representations of transit networks to facilitate effective route‐finding. These maps are often advertised on a web page or pamphlet highlighting routes from source to destination stations. To visually support such route‐finding, designers often distort the layout by embedding symbolic shapes (e.g., circular routes) in order to guide readers' attention (e.g., Moscow map and Japan railway map). However, manually producing such maps is labor‐intensive and the effect of shapes remains unclear. In this paper, we propose an approach to generalize such mixed metro maps that take user‐defined shapes as an input. In this mixed design, lines that are used to approximate the shapes are arranged symbolically, while the remaining lines follow classical layout convention. A three‐step algorithm, including (1) detecting and selecting routes for shape approximation, (2) shape and layout deformation, and (3) aligning lines on a grid, is integrated to guarantee good visual quality. Our contribution lies in the definition of the mixed metro map problem and the formulation of design criteria so that the problem can be resolved systematically using the optimization paradigm. Finally, we evaluate the performance of our approach and perform a user study to test if the embedded shapes are recognizable or reduce the map quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The article presents information of the electronic submission of papers for the journal British Society of Soil Science. The requirements for the electronic submission of papers are that all papers must still conform to the "Author Guidelines" available at the website of this journal. Papers should be send in Microsoft Word format. The publication system will then automatically translate the file into an Acrobat file. At some time in the future, it should be possible for authors to load their papers directly on to the Journal Web site. This cannot be done at the moment.

Co-occurrence matrices, such as cocitation, coword, and colink matrices, have been used widely in the information sciences. However, confusion and controversy have hindered the proper statistical analysis of these data. The underlying problem, in our opinion, involved understanding the nature of various types of matrices. This article discusses the difference between a symmetrical cocitation matrix and an asymmetrical citation matrix as well as the appropriate statistical techniques that can be applied to each of these matrices, respectively. Similarity measures (such as the Pearson correlation coefficient or the cosine) should not be applied to the symmetrical cocitation matrix but can be applied to the asymmetrical citation matrix to derive the proximity matrix. The argument is illustrated with examples. The study then extends the application of co-occurrence matrices to the Web environment, in which the nature of the available data and thus data collection methods are different from those of traditional databases such as the Science Citation Index. A set of data collected with the Google Scholar search engine is analyzed by using both the traditional methods of multivariate analysis and the new visualization software Pajek, which is based on social network analysis and graph theory.
