Objectives: The aim of the present study was to investigate gender composition of the editorial board members of the journals in the field of periodontology and implantology. Materials and Methods: A rigorous search was performed through Web of Science database to identify journals, scoping on the periodontology and implantology research fields. Data on journal's demographic information, gender of the editorial board members were gathered from the journals fulfilling the predefined inclusion/exclusion criteria. Variables including journal impact factor and quartiles were extracted as well. Results: The proportion of women in the editorial team in periodontology journals was 27.3%, whereas it was almost 19% in implantology journals. As for editorial leadership, these ratios were 22.1% and 19.8%, respectively. There were significantly less women than men in editor‐in‐chief position in periodontology journals (p = 0.042). Journal metrics had no impact on the gender distribution of editor‐in‐chief positions in both fields. Conclusions: Women seem to be under‐represented as editorial leaders or board members in journals of periodontology and implantology. The proportion of women in periodontology journals has increased in the last decade; however, there is still a clear need for further increase to have a gender balance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This is the second group of process safety legends that have been selected by the editors of Process Safety Progress (PSP). The first group of process safety legends was reported on in the March 2021 edition of PSP. At that time, the Editorial Board of PSP recommended an article in the journal be dedicated to process safety legends to inspire others working in the field. The ARRIVE guidelines have been implemented in BJP for 4 years with the aim of increasing transparency in reporting experiments involving animals. BJP has assessed our success in implementing them and concluded that we could do better. The first issue of WIREs (Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews) Climate Change appeared in January 2010 and nearly 4 years later the journal has published over 200 review articles at the average rate of more than one per week. Over these 4 years, the journal has made a unique, visible, and valuable contribution to the burgeoning and broadening scholarship on climate change. This reflects not only the vision and work of the Executive Editorial Board, but also the way in which the idea of climate change continues to take on new meanings as it meets and shapes new physical processes and cultural practices. In this editorial I reflect on the contribution of WIREs Climate Change to this scholarship and assess the achievements of the journal to date. The third PDZ domain of a neuronal protein PSD‐95 is a typical example that exhibits dynamic allostery.
