Abstract
The article discusses the agenda for the literature on cabinet and budgetary systems theory in Canada. This paper focuses on the fundamental problem and the accrued wisdom of Canadian literature with emphasis on cabinet and budgetary decision-making. It should serve as a guide to the various analysis for the development of alternative design. Organizational details and rationale for the federal government must be directed to the state of the literature and where future energies are going. The changes in the cabinet-decision making system has caught many attentions and criticisms.
