We propose a flexible white‐light system for high‐speed visible‐light communication (VLC) applications, consisting of a semipolar blue InGaN/GaN single‐quantum‐well micro‐light‐emitting diode (LED) on a flexible substrate pumping green CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum‐dot (PQD) paper in nanostructure form and red CdSe QD paper. The highest bandwidth for CsPbBr3 PQD paper, 229 MHz, is achieved with a blue micro‐LED pumping source, this is very promising for VLC application. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper is concerned with the design of positive L1$$ {L}_1 $$ filter for positive Markovian jump systems (PMJSs) with adaptive event‐triggered mechanism and quantization. Considering the mode jump of the system, a new adaptive event‐triggered condition is established, which not only can regulate the communication threshold according to the error of dynamic systems, but also can avoid the asynchronous phenomenon between the system mode and the filter mode. In order to further reduce the burden of communication, a new positive L1$$ {L}_1 $$ filter with the quantized measure system output is developed, and the design condition which ensures the filter error system to be stochastically stable with L1$$ {L}_1 $$ performance is presented which can be solved in terms of linear programming (LP) technique. It is illustrated that there is no Zeno phenomenon. The proposed results are applied to the power allocation in a mobile telecommunication system, and it is shown that compared with the existing results, the event‐triggered filter of this paper has some advantages. This document is a guest editorial for a special issue on network/traffic optimization towards the 6G network. The steady improvements in the networking infrastructure and ever increasing broadband penetration has fueled the resurgence of voice-over-IP (VoIP). One of the important contributors to this growth has also been the development and wide acceptance of the session initiation protocol (SIP). However, the current usage of SIP requires a per-application deployment (each application using its own SIP stack). In addition to shared port number problems, this leads to a narrow development of SIP based services, even though SIP, as a protocol, offers incredible opportunities for enabling various applications simultaneously. In this paper, we propose SPLAT—a unified SIP platform, consisting of a client-side SIP service and supporting network infrastructure blocks, that provide unified mechanisms to execute generic SIP functions through an exported higher level API. Applications can leverage the API and ready-made building blocks for creating richer interfaces without significant and often repeated development effort, e.g. a conferencing server coupled with a gaming server can provide context-aware audio conferencing between occupants of a particular game room. Importantly, the SPLAT framework is available to all applications including the ones not inherently based on SIP and thus presents a great opportunity for enhancing such applications. The SIP service API is designed to be extensible and provides novel higher level functional primitives like ad hoc conferencing and seamless transition of sessions. In addition, it also exports a low level interface for specialized applications that need direct access to SIP call flows. Another feature of the service is that it allows a user to plug-in an end device (softphone, IP phone, PSTN phone) of his/her choice on a per-session basis. This paper studies the performance of radio assignment algorithms for portable access in cellular systems. Several channel access procedures are proposed and simulated using block oriented network simulator (BONeS) simulation of a model 36-port system. Simulation results exhibit that load-sharing system with LIBTA algorithm is better than directed retry system with the same algorithm by around 0.9 erlangs while better than quasi-fixed channel assignment (QFCA) system by around 2 erlangs if the grade of service (GOS) is constrained to less than 10 per cent. Plus, a hybrid time-slot selection procedure is proposed to enhance the system performance. It is observed that systems with hybrid time-slot selection perform better than those with LIBTA algorithm in GOS under heavy load. It is also observed that load sharing system with hybrid time-slot selection algorithm is better than directed retry system with the same algorithm by around 0.7 erlangs and better than QFCA system by around 2 erlangs. Compared with the traditional OMP algorithm and the 3DSOMP algorithm, simulation results demonstrate the proposed DSD algorithm has higher channel estimation accuracy and lower pilot overhead. The concept of a person-based number is attractive due to several pressing demands in implementation of current wireless communication systems. Some of these are: sudden proliferation in number of area codes; the need for freedom from number changes due to changes in service provider, location, or area code; and demand for improved and integrated communication service for users. Some important factors that determine the efficiency of a mobility management scheme include fewer number of times that locations need to be updated, reduced amount of overhead data that represents mobility related information, and efficient storage mechanisms that allow for fast storage and retrieval of this information. In this paper, we shall outline a mobility management scheme that provides a globally unique personal number and offers important benefits in regard to the issues cited above. For an efficient implementation of such a scheme however, an investigation of its performance is required in order to estimate signaling traffic and signaling delays. This paper will focus on some recent studies conducted on an analysis of this scheme by using query and update operations as the metrics for determining average call delay and control data storage and transmission requirements. A comparative analysis is also performed with equivalent cases of query and update in the IS-41 system. A method and a technique for the probability of error estimation in digital channels with memory are developed and demonstrated. The expressions for the mean and variance of a random variable, representing a block of bits transmission in a bursty channel (channel with memory), are derived. The influence of the memory is expressed by a parameter called the memory factor. It is shown that the traditional Monte Carlo method can be applied for the probability of error estimation. In order to control the accuracy and increase the time efficiency of estimation this method is modified and a new method, called the modified Monte Carlo method, is proposed. Based on this modified method a technique of estimation with controlled accuracy is developed and demonstrated using data obtained by simulation. According to this technique the sample size is adjusted in the course of estimating procedure to give an accurate estimate of the probability of error for a minimum required time of estimation. In recent years, the internet has not only enhanced the quality of our lives but also made us susceptible to high‐frequency cyber‐attacks on communication networks. Detecting such attacks on network traffic is made possible by intrusion detection systems (IDS). IDSs can be broadly divided into two groups based on the type of detection they provide. According to the established rules, the first signature‐based IDS detects threats. Secondly, anomaly‐based IDS detects abnormal conditions in the network. Various machine and deep learning approaches have been used to detect anomalies in network traffic in the past. To improve the detection of anomalies in network traffic, researchers have compared several machine learning models, such as support vector machines (SVM), logistic regressions (LRs), K‐Nearest Neighbour (KNN), Nave Bayes (NBs), and boosting algorithms. The accuracy, precision, and recall of many studies have been satisfactory to an extent. Therefore, this paper proposes an ensemble learning‐based stacking classifier (ELSC) to achieve a better accuracy rate. In the proposed ELSC algorithm, KNN, NB, LR, and Decision Trees (DT) served as the base classifiers, while SVM served as the meta classifier. Based on a Network Intrusion detection dataset provided by Kaggle.com, ELSC is compared to base classifiers such as KNN, NB, LR, DT, SVM, and Linear Discriminate Analysis. As a result of the simulations, the proposed ELBS stacking classifier was found to outperform the other comparative models and converge with an accuracy of 99.4%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Delay tolerant networks (DTNs) is a network evolved from mobile networks. Differing from the traditional network, which has a stable end‐to‐end transmission path, DTNs are sparse and intermittently connected mobile ad hoc network, which are widely used in harsh environments, such as battlefields, seabed, space communication networks, and so on. In DTNs, intermittent connectivity, partitioned network, long delays and node mobility characteristics make the network fail to communicate frequently, therefore, how to successfully forward the message is of extreme importance. Up to now, almost all the traditional models in DTNs use the store‐carry‐forward method. This paper proposes a novel clustered DTN routing model based on sensing node relationship strength. The routing mechanism takes advantage of the number of other nodes encountered by the nodes in the process of movement and the changes in the number of nodes to calculate the strength of the relationship between nodes, and clusters DTN routing according to the strength of the relationship between nodes. Moreover, the relationship between nodes in a cluster and other clusters is used to transmit messages between clusters, and messages are transmitted within clusters according to the strength of the relationship between nodes. Simulation results show that the routing mechanism not only increases the success rate of message transmission, but also reduces the transmission delay of messages and improves network performance. The wide spread availability and use of sophisticated high‐speed telecommunication networks coupled with inexpensive and easily accessible computing capacity have catalyzed the creation of new tools and strategies for healthcare delivery. Such tools and strategies are of value to apheresis medicine (AM) practitioners if they improve delivery of patient care, enhance safety during a therapeutic apheresis (TA) intervention, facilitate care access, advance technical capabilities of apheresis devices, and/or elevate quality performance within TA programs. In the past several years, healthcare delivery systems' adoption of telecommunication technologies has been fostered by organizational financial and quality improvement objectives. More recently, adoption of telehealth technologies has been catalyzed by the COVID‐19 pandemic as these technologies enhance both patient and provider safety in an era of social distancing. These changes will also influence the delivery of TA services which now can be generally viewed in a tripartite model format comprised of traditional hospital‐based fixed site locales, mobile TA operations and lately an evolving telemedicine remote management model now reffered to as telapheresis (TLA). This communication developed by the Public Affairs and Advocacy Committee of the American Society for Apheresis (ASFA) and endorsed by its Board of Directors, reviews and describes various aspects of established and evolving electronic technologies related to TLA and the practice of AM. In this paper, a power allocation algorithm of dual-function radar–communication system with limited power is proposed to obtain better overall system performance measured by the weighted summation of radar signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) and communication channel capacity. First, a power allocation model is established to maximize the radar SINR and communication channel capacity with limited transmitted power. Then, the Karush–Kuhn–Tucker (KKT) conditions are used to solve the optimal objective function under the condition that only radar SINR or communication channel capacity is considered, respectively. Finally, the optimal value is combined with the original model and transformed into a single objective optimization model, and the optimal power is obtained by solving the model through the iterative optimization algorithm. Simulation results show that, compared with other power allocation algorithms, the proposed algorithm can achieve better radar-communication integration performance under the same transmit power. When ground communication infrastructure within a region cannot be used for some reason, deploying unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)- mounted base stations is undoubtedly the most effective way to provide communication services. This paper investigates the problem of joint deployment and power allocation of multiple UAVs, where ground terminals (GTs) seek to maximize quality of experience (QoE). In the mixed line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight environment, UAVs need to change position in order to collect channel information until deployment problem is solved. Moreover, only neighboring UAVs communicate with each other, which makes the problem more difficult to solve. In order to solve this problem, game theory is used to model this problem and design a distributed learning algorithm to maximize the QoE of all GTs in the entire system. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed learning algorithm in improving the QoE fairness and achieving the rapid deployment of UAVs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In March 2017, at RAN#75 meeting in Dubrovnik, for the first time in 3GPP, satellite industries and stakeholders have got a unique opportunity to be involved in the standardization process of a new standard integrating Terrestrial and non-Terrestrial networks. Legacy Satcom systems are characterized by the reliance on industry driven technical specifications leading to proprietary architecture, protocol stack and radio access levels up to the point where basic satellite access network interoperability between different vendors is not granted. Summary: Intelligent fire safety systems place higher demands on the speed and reliability of data communication between sensors, controllers, and other devices. The two‐wire bus has become a significant trend in developing fire safety communication systems because of its low cost and simple maintenance. This paper proposes a two‐wire bus communication system for fire safety based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology. First, we introduce the low‐voltage power line channel model and conduct relevant simulations, providing the conditions for subsequent simulation work. Then, we design the system's transmission and reception schemes, provide the parameters, and introduce each technology used. Finally, we conducted system simulations based on three different channel models, and the system performance is compared among different encoding, modulation, and channel estimation methods. The simulation results show that the system designed in this paper has superior performance compared with other systems and can meet the requirements of intelligent fire safety systems for communication speed and reliability. Distributed energy resources are being progressively deployed by industry. The penetration of distributed generation in low voltage (LV) networks can position traditional consumers as market participants. With the improvements in communication networks and the introduction of new energy markets, these prosumers are incentivized to sell their excess production to other industries by participating in peer‐to‐peer (P2P) energy markets. This market paves the way for developing new technologies such as a shared battery energy storage system (SBESS). In this paper, a central storage unit rents its capacity for the prosumers to reduce the overall peak‐load of the microgrid. Each user requests the required SBESS capacity and calculates the best charging and discharging times to reduce their cost. To this end, this paper organized a P2P energy trading paradigm with the presence of SBESS. The optimization problem was simulated and solved using the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) algorithm. Summary: In this paper, functionality of the Doherty power amplifiers (DPAs) along with their design constraints such as DPA combining techniques are reviewed. This is because power amplifier (PA) is a key building block in the design of fifth generation (5G) communication systems. A significant trend is the DPA bandwidth enhancement technique, which is the subject of numerous papers in the literature. So, we will review some papers with different solutions to address DPA's bandwidth limitations. There are also different works in the literature that have focused on high‐efficiency PA structure designs, which are also discussed in this paper. An excellent option for effective power combining in broadband designs is using balanced amplifiers. We have discussed load modulated balanced amplifiers (LMBA) in this paper because designing an effective PA with a wide bandwidth is crucial. The fifth‐generation (5G) technology is seen to be a solution for developing countries to improve their quality of services in terms of transportation, education, health, agriculture, and other fields, thereby holding the promises of economic transformation by improving productivity and the quality of life. The paper considers some of the challenges that face operators, investors, and providers when planning to introduce 5G technology to developing countries. The main focus of this paper is the 5G transport network, in particular, the backhaul network. This paper presents a transition‐limited pulse‐amplitude modulation (TLPAM) signaling method to enable a high data rate and robust wireline communications. TLPAM signaling addresses the impact of high intersymbol interference (ISI) ratios in conventional M‐ary PAM signaling methods by limiting the maximum voltage transition level between adjacent symbols. The implementation of a TLPAM signaling encoder is realized by setting back the most significant bits (MSBs) in the queue. The correlation between TLPAM's maximum transition level, effective data rate, and eye width/height is analyzed with various channel loss parameters, followed by characterization and measurement results with a realistic channel setup. The analysis and experimental results reveal the effectiveness of the proposed TLPAM signaling scheme for achieving a high data rate with minimal interference. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper surveys recent multiagent reinforcement learning and neural Myerson auction deep learning efforts to improve mobility control and resource management in autonomous ground and aerial vehicles. The multiagent reinforcement learning communication network (CommNet) was introduced to enable multiple agents to perform actions in a distributed manner to achieve shared goals by training all agents' states and actions in a single neural network. Additionally, the Myerson auction method guarantees trustworthiness among multiple agents to optimize rewards in highly dynamic systems. Summary: In order to solve the problem that IP address jump cannot be synchronized in real time due to the unstable speed of network data transmission in the Internet of Things system, in this paper, sliding window mechanism is introduced into network communication, and an Internet of Things system with network IP address jump function is constructed. The system adopts time synchronization scheme based on PTP protocol and IP address hopping strategy based on sliding window. The system includes three modules: time synchronization module based on PTP protocol to enhance security performance, address hopping module based on OpenFlow as core technology, and SDN routing module. The system can realize the security defense function of mobile devices on the Internet of Things. Finally, through the experimental test, it is found that, when the system time error is less than 18 s, the system's packet loss rate is stable and low. The anti‐attack ability is very strong. In this paper, we mathematically investigate a downlink non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system for short‐packet communications (SPC) in which the near users are used as full‐duplex (FD) relays to forward intended signals from the source to a far user. In addition, partial relay selection is employed to enhance the performance of the FD relays under the impact of imperfect interference cancellation. At the far user, selection combining (SC) or maximal ratio combining (MRC) is employed to combine the signals received from the source and the selected FD relay. The analytical expressions for the average block error rate (BLER) of two users over flat Rayleigh fading channels are derived. Furthermore, closed‐form asymptotic expressions of the average BLERs at the near and far users in high signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) regimes are obtained. This paper studies the input‐to‐state stability of an uncertain switched linear system with external disturbances, whose feedback loop is closed over a digital communication network. In the network, only a finite bit rate can be provided to transmit the feedback signal and unknown network delay always exists. By using reachable set approximation and propagation methods, it can well handle with the effects of model uncertainty, external disturbances and network delay on the stability of the system. To save network resources, event‐triggered sampling is taken here. Under the event‐triggered sampling strategies, a new encoder is proposed, which consumes less feedback bits than the conventional time‐triggered encoders. It is proven that even in the existence of model uncertainty, external disturbances and network delay, the proposed event‐triggered sampling strategies require a lower feedback bit rate to stabilize the switched system than conventional periodic sampling methods. To save network resources, event‐triggered sampling is taken here. Under the event‐triggered sampling strategies, a new encoder is proposed, which consumes less feedback bits than the conventional time‐triggered encoders. This paper investigates the design of transmit beamforming in an integrated sensing and communication system, where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) equipped with a uniform linear array (ULA) transmits combined information‐carrying and dedicated sensing signals to perform multi‐user communication and simultaneously sense potential targets. First, the transmit beamforming design is formulated as a series of non‐convex optimisation problems, and then jointly design the information and sensing beamforming to maximise the minimum communication rate under an optimised UAV deployment location, subject to the sensing beampattern gain requirements and the limited transmit power of the UAV. However, due to the application of ULA on the UAV, the formulated problems are highly non‐convex and difficult to solve optimally. To address the aforementioned issue, an efficient algorithm is proposed to find suboptimal yet high‐quality solutions. This is achieved by adopting the successive convex approximation and semidefinite relaxation. The numerical results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and demonstrate that the transmit beamforming design achieves a balance between communication and sensing performance. Summary: This study focuses on a class of interval type‐2 T‐S fuzzy systems under bit rate constraint(BRC), which can adapt to complex systems more flexibly than the traditional interval type‐1 T‐S fuzzy model. In order to guarantee the security of data transmission, and considering that the channel is affected by the bit rate during transmission, this study introduces a codec scheme in the interval type‐2 T‐S fuzzy system and applies it to the channel from the sensor to the controller. With the support of the codec scheme, this study explores the sufficient conditions to satisfy the data recoverability, and based on the satisfaction of these conditions, the system is proposed to satisfy the sufficient conditions for input‐to‐state stability (ISS) and the controller gain. Through the in‐depth analysis in this paper, this study proposes a control scheme that can fit complex systems more accurately and also confirms the importance of considering bit rate constraints in communication systems. The dissipativity‐based analysis and synthesis issues of Takagi‐Sugeno (T‐S) fuzzy systems by applying aperiodic memory sampling control are investigated in this paper. Compared with the more conservative dissipative conditions and controller design methods proposed in the past based on Lyapunov theory, the main purpose of this paper is to obtain a less conservative dissipative criterion and devise an aperiodic memory sampled‐data controller. Firstly, the sampling controller is assumed to work in aperiodic sample mode, and the time delay in the communication network is considered. Next, an augmented delay‐product‐type looped‐functional is proposed such that the whole information of sampling and delay, which has not been studied before, is well taken into account. Summary: A sensor network is a situation‐based critical network defined under certain restrictions and constraints. The clustered architecture is defined over these networks to utilize the criticality vectors and to improve network communication. In this paper, a degree load‐balanced and fuzzy‐ACO (DLB‐fACO) protocol is proposed for optimizing the clustered architecture. In this architecture, the load analysis is performed while forming the clusters. The cluster head selection is performed based on energy, cluster density, and probability vector. The node degree‐ and energy‐balanced analysis is performed for identifying the cluster members. Once the clusters are formed, the ACO approach is applied to perform the cluster‐based hierarchical routing. Communication is performed at two levels. In the first level, node‐to‐cluster head communication is performed by considering energy and degree consideration. In the second level, the fuzzy‐integrated ACO method is applied for inter‐cluster route formation. The route optimization is here performed under fuzzy‐based energy, degree, and distance parameters. These fuzzy parameters are evaluated within the ACO algorithm for generating the optimized route. The proposed load‐balanced protocol is analyzed against the LEACH, LEACH‐C, LEACH‐CC, M‐LEACH, Fuzzy‐PSO, Fuzzy‐ACO, Fuzzy‐Cuckoo, and FMCB‐ER protocols. The experimentation results confirm the significant gain in network lifetime and packet communication. Summary: In the presence of noise in communication systems, constellation diagram points are scattered to the extent that may make the modulation classification a difficult task. With the plethora of applications of machine and deep learning, several communication systems have adopted machine and deep learning to solve some classical detection and classification problems. Casting the modulation order detection as a pattern classification of the constellation images opens the door for application of mature machine learning and image processing tools to solve the classification problem, efficiently. This paper presents a system based on a wavelet‐aided convolutional neural network (CNN) classifier to efficiently detect the modulation type and order in the presence of noise. The proposed system depends on a pretrained CNN setup, which is trained with a set of constellation diagrams for each modulation scheme and used after that for testing. In addition, discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is investigated to generate representative patterns from constellation diagrams to be used for the training and testing tasks as well. The wavelet approximation images and their corresponding wavelet sub‐bands across all predefined scales are used in the dataset. Several pretrained networks including AlexNet, VGG‐16, and VGG‐19 are used as classifiers for the modulation type from the DWTs for different constellation diagrams. Summary: Wideband low‐noise amplifiers (LNAs) are widely used in 5G and 6G communication systems. This paper first analyzes two common bandwidth extension technologies: the stagger tuning technique and the magnetically coupled resonators (MCR) technique. Then, a four‐stage LNA based on double‐tuned transformer combined with stagger tuning idea and MCR idea was proposed. In order to improve the broadband characteristics of the LNA, the loose coupling double‐tuned transformer is carefully designed. Compared with the traditional stagger tuning LNA, it has better broadband characteristics, lower element error sensitivity, and lower design complexity. This designs a gain bandwidth product of 1.48 T with a −3‐dB bandwidth in 9.11 GHz and the noise factor is lower than 3 dB, which covers more than 45% −3‐dB fractional bandwidth. The LNA consumes 37‐mW power with a 1.1‐V supply and occupies 1.22 × 0.4 mm2. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper proposes a fully distributed scheme to solve the day‐ahead optimal power scheduling of networked microgrids in the presence of different renewable energy resources, such as photovoltaics and wind turbines, considering energy storage systems. The proposed method enables the optimization of the power scheduling problem through local computation of agents in the system and private communication between existing agents, without any centralized scheduling unit. In this paper, a cloud‐fog‐based framework is also introduced as a fast and economical infrastructure for the proposed distributed method. The suggested optimized energy framework proposes an area to regulate and update policies, detect misbehaving elements, and execute punishments centrally, while the general power scheduling problem is optimized in a distributed manner using the proposed method. The suggested cloud‐fog‐based method eliminates the need to invest in local databases and computing systems. The proposed scheme is examined on a small‐scale microgrid and also a larger test networked microgrid, including 4 microgrids and 15 areas in a 24‐h time period, to illustrate the scalability, convergence, and accuracy of the framework. The simulation results substantiate the fast and precise performance of the proposed framework for networked microgrids compared with other existing centralized and distributed methods. Modern railway services are required to deliver good quality services to the passenger throughout the whole journey. These include improved performances, safety, and reduce delays. There is also the requirement for in‐train customer experience such as infotainment and access to reliable communication systems. The railway industry has employed different types and generations of communication systems in recent times. Signaling systems were used at the early stage of the railway services. Today, communication systems such as the second‐generation communication system, also known as the global system for mobile communications (GSM), the Third‐generation (3G) and the Fourth‐generation (4G) are utilized in the railway industry. In this paper, we present a brief history of railway communication systems, their features and applications. In addition, we discuss the technical challenges and potential solutions of in‐train communication systems and how data can be distributed on‐board and between the train coaches using state of the art and hybrid communication technologies. In this paper, the event‐triggered distributed consensus tracking control problem for a class of multi‐agent systems (MASs) is studied, where denial‐of‐service (DoS) attacks and Bouc‐Wen hysteresis inputs are considered in the communication channel and the actuator, respectively. First, when communication networks are subject to malicious DoS attacks, the connection weights of the communication topology graphs are affected. To address this problem, this paper establishes topological models of the communication network using a switching topology method, and gives connection recovery strategies for the communication network. Second, in order to save communication resources, a distributed control protocol based on an event‐triggered mechanism and locally deployed estimator is designed for DoS signals occurring in the communication network of states and control inputs. In addition, the effect of unknown Bouc–Wen hysteresis input is eliminated using the Nussbaum‐type function. Then, based on Lyapunov stability theory, the boundedness of all signals in the closed‐loop system is verified, and the objective of consensus control is achieved. Major paradigms in sociology and social sciences usually embrace either individualism or anti‐individualism as fundamental worldview. This paper explores a third way between individualism and anti‐individualism developed by German sociologist Niklas Luhmann in his systems theory. Luhmann treats actors or individuals as psychic systems and he distinguishes them from social systems. In a nutshell, social systems produce communication, whereas psychic systems produce consciousness. In line with anti‐individualism, Luhmann therefore argues that social systems are irreducible to psychic systems and their actions. On the other hand, Luhmann joins ranks with individualism to assert that psychic systems are not rigorously constrained by social systems. Ultimately, Luhmann explains that social systems and psychic systems are part of each other's environment and that each type of systems provides the ecological conditions that the other type depends on to emerge and grow. To discuss this third way between individualism and anti‐individualism, the paper examines more specifically two central points in Luhmann's theory: (1) how social systems and psychic systems are separated from each other, and (2) how social systems and psychic systems are coevolving. The main objective of this paper is to advance the concept of region reaching control for a single robot to the study of region reaching consistency for uncertain fully‐actuated multi‐robot systems formulated by Lagrange dynamics. By introducing a directed network communication topology and utilizing the pinning‐like control methods, a distributed region reaching consensus control strategy is proposed. The desired region shape can be specified by selecting an appropriate potential objective function. A feature of the developed region reaching consensus algorithm is fully distributed, which is also an important generalization of pinning‐like set point tracking scheme based on the typical proportion‐integration‐differentiation control scheme. More importantly, the scope of consistency in this paper can be explicitly defined, which is different from traditional consistency control algorithms. Future communication networks are widely considered to be able to provide both high‐speed communication service and reliable sensing service. Integrated sensing and communication (ISAC) is considered to be the key technology to realize this vision. Appropriate resource allocation strategy is essential for ensuring the quality of both communication and sensing services in terms of ISAC. Existing ISAC‐based resource allocation schemes mainly focus on the coexistence of sensing and communication. However, in multi‐user ISAC networks, the services required by users are diverse, including sensing‐only, communication‐only and dual‐function cases. To this end, a resource allocation strategy is proposed based on user quality of service (QoS). Specifically, the sum rate of cellular network is maximized via optimizing spectrum resource selection and transmit power, while satisfying the sensing QoS. The optimal solution to the entire problem is achieved by first demonstrating that the communication rate in this paper is a monotonically increasing function of sensing power, which allows to obtain the optimal power allocation scheme. Subsequently, a matching method is employed to obtain the optimal spectrum sharing scheme. Numerical results validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm and also unveil a flexible trade‐off in ISAC systems over the benchmark scheme. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper addresses the fixed‐time adaptive neural distributed control problem of uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems (MASs) with unknown communication link faults. To handle the unknown terms caused by communication link faults and the unknown functions in each agent, a radial basis function neural network (RBF NN) is employed. In contrast to existing methods that focus solely on practical finite‐/ fixed‐time stability of nonlinear systems, the control scheme developed in this paper goes beyond by not only mitigating the effects of unknown communication link faults in nonlinear MASs but also addressing the singularity problem of fixed‐time controllers. These advancements are realized through the design of new power exponent functions and the introduction of new lemmas. This way, the tracking error of MASs converges to a preset range within a fixed time and achieves better control performance. Summary: In the present scenario, wireless body area network (WBAN) use case has gone beyond medical monitoring (e.g., E‐Healthcare) and has become a vital part of our daily lives. WBANs, applied in E‐Healthcare systems, extract the physiological parameters through the implanted (in‐body) and/or wearable (on‐body) sensors applied to the human body and route them to the remote server in a systematized and well‐grounded manner. Thus, routing is the most primitive and non‐trivial task in WBANs for prompt and proper delivery of sensed data. The design of routing protocol is crucial for efficacious communication and high network performance. Therefore, the target of this paper is to present an all‐encompassing taxonomy of the state‐of‐the‐art routing protocols in WBANs. Firstly, this paper provides an insight into WBANs and their related projects. Next, WBAN routing challenges are explored, and after clustering these challenges based on their operating mechanism, the routing protocols are categorized into eight categories, which correspond to cluster‐ and tree‐based, cross‐layer‐based, fuzzy‐based, interference‐based, posture‐based, QoS‐based, SDN‐based, and temperature‐based routing protocols. Furthermore, comparison tables highlighting the goals, strengths, limitations, and novelty of each protocol, along with a qualitative comparison table of the routing protocols for each category based on their features are furnished. Summary: The paper identifies a Wiener system, which is excited by a cyclostationary time series. To estimate the first subsystem's linear dynamic impulse response: this proposed algorithm first kernel‐windows the Wiener system's input measurements, then cross‐correlates with the output time series. To identify the second subsystem's static nonlinearity: this proposed algorithm first estimates the unobservable inter‐block internal signal (consistently in the statistical sense), and then kernel‐windows these estimates with the Wiener system output. This estimator provides the unusual capability to identify non‐invertible nonlinearities. This strategy removes any restrictive requirement for a Gaussian random excitation or a sinusoidal deterministic excitation. This paper further proves the estimator's asymptotic consistency and determines the kernel bandwidth for algorithmic convergence. Summary: The enormous growth of mobile broadband traffic is a catalyst for expanding terrestrial communication systems and their integration with satellite communication systems. This results in sharing frequencies allocated to satellite communication systems with terrestrial systems. As this can lead to interference between the incumbent and the upcoming service, coexistence studies are conducted. In the case of sharing satellite uplink frequencies with terrestrial communication systems, interference from base stations (BSs) is dominant. While there are methods to estimate the number of BSs that may be deployed, it is unclear where the BSs will be located. The BS locations play a pivotal role in interference calculation, as the values of link budget parameters are highly dependent on the longitude and latitude of interfering transmitters. This article presents an intelligent method which balances network capacity and coverage for simulating base stations (BSs) in coexistence studies. A realistic BS distribution is generated using weighted K‐means clustering (WKMC) algorithm and incorporating population density along with Haversine distance. The paper provides a case study of co‐frequency, co‐coverage interference in the satellite uplink in the C‐band to demonstrate the impact of BS distribution on the results of coexistence studies. This paper focuses on the single‐ and second‐order nonlinear multi‐agent systems, contributing to realizing the formation‐containment control over directed communication networks, respectively. By dividing the agents into three types, that is, the tracking‐leader, formation‐leaders and followers, a class of two‐layer sample‐data formation‐containment control protocols are developed. Then, under the proposed sample mechanism, the investigated problem is transformed into a motion planning problem and the influence caused by non‐identical nonlinear dynamics is offset by integral techniques. It shows that with the time projection method, the formation‐containment behaviour emerges at an appointed time, which is regardless of any parameters and initial conditions for agents. In comparison with previous results, the main contribution of this paper is achieving the appointed‐time formation‐containment control and appointed‐time tracking to a dynamic leader with nonlinear dynamics. Moreover, the condition on dynamics is more relaxed, only requiring the nonlinearities errors to be bounded.
