Aus Fruchtkorpern von H. mougeotii wurden das Styrylpyron Hymenochinon (1) und sein Leukoderivat 3 isoliert und in ihrer Konstitution aufgeklart. Fungus Pigments, XXVIII. Hymenoquinone, the Red Pigment of Hymenochaete mougeotii (Poriales) The isolation and structural elucidation of hymenoquinone (1) and its leuco derivative 3 from fruiting bodies of H. mougeotii are reported.
