The article basically aims to present the applicability of the modified "30-15IFT" test on a sample of the senior women's national basketball team of Serbia. The technology we employed enabled us to acquire a number of parameters about the test as such and the study subjects' endurance. In addition to the level of development of specific indicators of the special endurance of female basketball players, we were interested in the differences between individual player types. The results show that after about 13 minutes of running the subjects on average achieved a maximum speed of 15.5 km/h, with a maximum heart rate of 187.4 beats.min-1, a maximum lactate concentration of 7.8 mmol-1, maximum relative oxygen uptake of 52.2 ml.min-1/kg-1, a maximum minute volume of exhaled carbon dioxide of 3473.5 ml.min-1 and a maximum lung ventilation of 117.6 l.min-1. In the last two variables statistically significant differences were found between individual types of players (guards, forwards and centers). The field "30-15IFT" intermittent fitness test proved to be suitable for assessing the current functional abilities of male and female basketball players and for identifying variations in their fitness in different periods of training. Thirty junior basketball players participated in the survey aimed to explore the impact of complex and plyometric method of training on maximal vertical jump height, in order to determine more effective method of training in practice. Study participants were divided into three equal groups of ten subjects, two experimental groups (group 1 - complex method of training, group 2- plyometric method of training) and control group. More experimental groups, in addition to regular basketball technical and tactical training, twice a week had more complex, ie, plyometric training, while control subjects had only technical and tactical training. Variables are divided into two groups: body weight, body height and skin folds are marked morphological variables and the maximum vertical jump height as the variable motor. It was found, analyzing the results from initial and final measurements that the maximum vertical jump height improved being under the influence of experimental factors in both experimental groups, whereas in the control group no significant changes occured. Experimental group changes p = 0.05, control group p=0.09. Morphological variables didn't significantly changed after application of experimental treatments. Further analysis of data showed no significant differences between experimental groups at the final measurements. Research has shown that there is no difference in the efficiency of the complex and plyometric training methods in a manner that is applied to our research and that these methods of training in ten weeks time can signicantly affect the improvement of the task as it capped the maximum vertical jump. The aim of this survey was to examine the ability of acceleration and the agility of basketball players. The survey was conducted on a sample of 35 professional Bulgarian basketball players (average age 21.37 ± 2.91 years) who competed in the First Bulgarian Basketball League and were divided into two groups depending on the position of the game: inner players - N = 13 and outer players - N = 22. They were chosen by experts as the best national players in the league. Two tests were applied: 20 meter run (acceleration - T20m) and T-test (agility - TT). During the 20- meter run test, the running times of fi ve (T5m) and 10 meters (T10m) were measured. In addition, body height (BH) and body mass (BM) were measured. Inner players were signifi cantly taller and heavier than the outer players, but no statistically signifi cant differences were found between the two groups of players in the acceleration and agility variables, having in mind that on all the tests outer players achieved better results. High correlations were found between three acceleration variables (T5m, T10m and T20m) and one agility variable (TT) - correlation coeffi cients of .666 to .819 at the signifi cance level of .01.The correlations between body height and acceleration variables are medium - correlation coeffi cients of .306 to .383, at the signifi cance level of .05, while the correlation coeffi cients between body mass and these variables are slightly higher .350 to .415 at the signifi cance level of .01, or .05.
