Abstract

The use of renewable energy sources (RES), which also includes waste biomass, is a current national and global concern for sustainable development by reducing greenhouse gas emissions (GHG). Partial replacement of fossil fuels with biomass is a possibility, together with other sources of nonpolluting energy production such as hydropower, wind, solar and geothermal, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as the amount of CO2 resulting from the combustion of biomass is equal to that captured during its training. Optimizing waste biomass utilization technologies ensures GHG reduction. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
