The ability of acquiring and processing information in manufacturing influences agile of manufacturing system. According to the idea that networked field information processing is realized based on intelligent nodes of field-bus technology, distributed intelligent field information processing flow is researched to synthesize multiple functions such as information gathering, information processing, warning system and field control. The method of information represented and collected was put forward. The multilayer data fusion model of distributed intelligent field information processing is built. Then the distributed LonWorks fieldbus monitoring model (DLFMM) based on LonWorks fieldbus technology is established. A monitoring system of a rail vehicle automatic door factory is shown as an example to illustrate design strategy of monitoring system based on DLFMM. This monitoring system shows that the model of distributed intelligent field information processing, DLFMM and the extraction and representation of information flow discussed in this paper are reasonable and applicable.

According to energy-saving requirements of traffic lights at present, this paper proposes a green-lighting control system based on Lonworks, which adopts the control node based on host. The paper demonstrates the system structure, the circuit design of nodes. The design can automatically adjust the brightness of Street Lamp according to the weather changes and implement the temperature detection and the alarm of troubleshoot. The designed system can largely save the people resources and power resources, and can reduce light pollution. So it has a strong practical significance.

To improve the energy efficiency of central air-conditioning system, established a central air-conditioning control system based on fuzzy prediction control and LonWorks. Fuzzy prediction controller design consist of upper computer and lower computer. Upper computer fuzzy control program written in VB to achieve system main components of energy conservation, and used the "WebAccess" to monitor the air-conditioning system. Lower computer used the Neuron C language program to achieve energy-saving of air-conditioning terminal equipment and downloaded to the intelligent node of neuron chip to achieve energy-saving control. A remote supervisory system of classroom lighting based on LonWorks fieldbus is presented, which controls the switch state of lights and the number of lights to turn on, achieving the purpose of energy saving. The administrator can remotely know the situation of each classroom, and be able to perform manually control. The experiment results show that the proposed supervisory system has the qualities of easy to implement, high reliability, and easy to expand.

It uses various sensors to detect indoor and outdoor light intensity and temperature changes automatically, the system provides reasonable the curtain control program to change the height of the curtains and the blade angle, to regulate indoor lighting and air-conditioning, reducing building energy consumption in all aspects. Common TCP / IP protocol is used to achieve a seamless connection with the building automation system. Fieldbus technology was one of the hottest development of today’s control area, It promoted fast development of modern enterprise network technology, brought new vitality and effectiveness to enterprises, therefore it had been widely used. The characteristics of Lons fieldbus technology were briefly introduced. The application of LonWorks technology in the field of intelligent illumination system was studied. The whole scheme of the intelligent illumination system and the hardware circuit for Lonworks intelligent node were designed and described in details. NodeBuilder software which was developed by Echelone company was used to design language for the LonWorks intelligent node. Through the LonWorks network communication, realized the functions of data transmission, memory and real-time monitoring, fast diagnosis and so on, it was an intelligent and highly effective system in automatic monitor. This intelligent illumination system achieved many functions, such as illumination auto adjusting, body detecting and remote monitoring. The system had better real-time performance and validity.

There are problems about openness and expansibility of lighting system and equipment compatibility during the establishing process of lighting control network. The problems are effectively solved through the lighting control network. Management efficiency is enhanced. Lighting energy-saving is achieved LED combining with energy-saved lamp.

This paper presents a new application scheme of Broadband Power Line Communication (BPLC) in smart home. In this scheme the power line was chosen as “the last one meter connection”medium in order to reduce the length of the PLC link and improve the network property. In the newscheme, the power lines and PLC modem were used to construct the indoor Ethernet, and the home appliances were connected to this indoor LAN through the serial port/Ethernet network adapter as an Ethernet unit, then to access or control the home appliancesfrom the Internet through the home gateway, which is different from the common ones, is available. The new application scheme not only increases the management efficiency and reduce the cost of smart home, but also conquer the shortcomings of the traditional methods.

Finally, to verify energy saving effect of the control integrated system and its high efficiency, three campus’s roadway lighting of GuiLin university of electronic technology is taken as the simulated object.

This paper presents a method which uses LonWorks control system and frequency converter in Central Air-Condition chilled water variable flow system. In this system, the output of frequency converter can be altered by augmenter PID control rule which is used in control of invariable difference in temperature between water supply and backwater, and the rotating speed of water pump can be changed correspondingly, so when the user load is small ,the electric energy consume can be reduced. The effect of energy-saving was visible comparing with the conventional Air-Condition chilled water constant flow system.

In order to improve the real-time of LonWorks node, its master processor AT89C2051 and slave processor MC143150 will realize data exchange each other in Slave A parallel mode. Data transfer mechanism using virtual token passing can solve the issue of master and slave processor seizing the data bus. FTT-10A transceiver featuring ESD protection can complete data communication on LonWorks twisted pair network. Experiments show that LonWorks node based on Slave A parallel mode communicating on twisted pairs has good communication and high real-time performance.

This paper introduces a computer control network system which can control sintering process of four PTFE molding furnaces accurately. System in-out signals such as sintering temperature, on-off signals of dial motor and aeration motor were connected to Lonworks via net nodes, and network variables were used to construct a configuration and interlinkage between the net nodes. We chose a combined-control strategy in which On-off control or Fuzzy-control or Fuzzy-PID control strategy were selected automatically, so the needs to sintering time, cooling speed, steady-state precision etc were accurately achieved.
