Ancient buildings have poor anti-seismic ability due to the long age of construction and lack of data materials. This paper seeks a scientific and quantitative evaluation method and predicts the earthquake damage of an ancient building by using fuzzy analogy approach. The example shows that this evaluation method has great meaningful of the existing ancient buildings under the earthquake intensity which likely to be encountered with the design life expectancy and provides a certain scientific basis of seismic estimation in ancient buildings.

With the development of sensor technology, image fusion becomes increasingly important in complex battlefield environment. As traditional methods for precision-guided weapons systems exist defects of fuzzy detection, low recognition rate and poor real-time; this paper proposes a new fusion algorithm of combining wavelet transform with Canny operator. Firstly, the improved method detects the edge with Canny operator; Then using wavelet transform decomposes images; Next, adapts unique fusion rules to change wavelet coefficients of images, using weighted average algorithm for low-frequency component, while using a local area average variance criterion for high-frequency; Finally, using the inverse wavelet transform to obtain reconstructed images. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show: the improved method not only reduces the fuzziness and highlights target color, but also makes computational efficiency high, real-time good.

We focus on the recognition of RS code in a reverse-engineering communication system, and an algorithm based on spectral statistic is proposed, which makes use of the spectral characteristics of RS code. When there are some codes with errors in the observations, the spectral histogram statistic is computed, which can improve the probability of detection in the noisy environment. Experimental results are given to illustrate the performances of the method which can get a 90% probability of detection of (255, 223) RS code in the presence of 0.5% code error rate.

Based on the wireless to realize the industrial automation, and now this is the field that people daily concerned about, but also is the hot issues of research of the community and even academic. The study of standardized wireless networks for industrial applications is more based on the Zigbee research methods. In this paper, we try to increase the combining of these new design technology and industrial automation of wireless standards. Wireless based on the PC can be applied in the micro and macro industrial by using Zigbee network; it has a variety of different types of processors and microcontrollers. Microcontroller relates to the temperature sensor, the zero crossing detector and voltage regulatory agencies. The system can completely control them through visual-based GUI (graphical user interface of the PC). The graphical user interface is the applications program based on the user-developed. All processors and controllers are interconnected PC through Zigbee. The PC will continue to monitor all the data structure unit and compare value from remote processing preloaded process. If you find any error, computer will take the necessary action. Zigbee network is also the star topology structure that tries the four nodes. The first Zigbee is connected to the personal computer, it has fully functional device, its role is transmitting and receiving the data of other nodes. The second, third and fourth of the Zigbee have device that can reduce function, and they are used to control the rotational speed of the DC motor, have separate control of the temperature and the lamp lighting. It can interconnect all processing unit of Zigbee through the RS232 protocol.

Three-dimensional geological modeling techniques, developed from 1980s, is a new geological technology used to make reservoir fine description and geological characterization with the combination of seismic, geological and reservoir exploration and development based on geostatistics. Three-dimensional geological modeling can achieve the quantitative characterization of the reservoir and heterogeneity of various scales. So far, it has been the most important content of reservoir description, what’s more, three-dimensional structure modeling can improve the accuracy and reliability of fine reservoir description through the establishment of three-dimensional reservoir model, the quantitative distribution of three-dimensional reservoir parameters and geometry.

The solution behavior of aromatic polysulfonamide (PSA) in dimethylformamide (DMF) with the addition of CaCl2 was studied by rheology and viscosity measurements. It is shown that no maximum in its intrinsic viscosity as a function of CaCl2 concentration was observed and the relationship between ηsp and PSA concentration c is consistent with the predicted scaling of θ solvent for both DMF and DMF/4% CaCl2. However, the intrinsic viscosity, zero shear-rate viscosity and specific viscosity of PSA/DMF/4% CaCl2 were found larger than that of PSA/DMF, which could be related to the extending of PSA chain in solution due to the increase of the interaction between the PSA macromolecules and solvent with addition of CaCl2.

The method of monitoring the tank vibration is becoming an effective method to detect the winding deformation of power transformer for the reliable and secure operation of power system. In order to further identify the relationship between the winding deformation fault of power transformer and the measured tank vibration signals, the short-circuit test is done in a 220kV transformer with the developed vibration measurement system and the vibration frequency response curves for some pre-setting winding deformation faults are obtained. Multi-fractal spectrum is applied to analyze the of the obtained vibration signals when winding conditions of power transformer are changed. It is shown that multi-fractal spectrum can effectively indicate the geometric structure features of vibration signals. The parameter variations of multi-fractal spectrum are agreed well with the preset winding faults, which provides another method for the feature extraction of vibration signal to detect the winding deformation of power transformer.
