Fetal electrocardiogram (FECG) is of great importance due to the potentially precise information that FECG carries could assist clinicians in making more appropriate and timely decisions during pregnancy and labor. In this paper, a method based on combined Stationary Wavelet Transform and Modulus-Maxima (SWT-MM) method is proposed for extracting the complete morphology of the FECG from maternal abdominal ECG (AECG). It particularly provides a different way of constructing the maternal ECG (MECG) template. The Efficacy of the method was validated using real data in Non-Invasive Fetal Electrocardiogram Database. The morphology of the extracted FECG was clearly seen that the fetal R-peak detection by simple differential-threshold method acquired the average accuracy of 96.8%. The method provides additional important benefits of fast speed and automated control for applying into the fetal monitors. Therefore, the method is potentially a strong tool for FECG extraction, especially in real-time use.

For virtue of small volume and fast speed of construction, arch dam is the most suitable dam type in cold region, where construction period is relatively short each year. Low average value and large amplitude of atmospheric temperature make temperature stress distribution of arch affect directly by thickness of permanent insulation material as while as the time of thermal insulation. Extreme climate lead to stricter external insulation requirement for cold region arch than these in common district, however, thermal insulation will increase the burden of artificial cooling and extend the construction period. Therefore, it is complicated and critical for arch dam crack prevention to study on permanent thermal insulation. In view of this, finite element method was applied for simulation of construction processes of a practical project in cold region. Influence of permanent thermal insulation layer thickness and selection of insulation time is analyzed, in order to provide basis for permanent thermal insulation optimization.

Traditional lubrication by oil sometimes does not work because of the high temperature, fast speed and excessive load of the aeroengine bearings. The Graphite-like Carbon coating is used to improve the insufficient lubrication in this paper. And the micro hardness, the friction coefficient and the wear rate tests are offered: with GLC, the hardness is increased twice at least, its friction coefficient is 25% and the wear rate is 1/100 when contrasted with that of the typical bearings material. The tests and calculation results show:the wear cycles of the GLC coated W9Cr4V is more than 400 times of that of the uncoated W9Cr4V and even when the GLC coating is worn out, the friction coefficient of W9Cr4V is only 0.15 which can effectively lubricate for the bearing for a short period of time when the liquid lubrication does not work. So it is proved to be effective in improving the wear resistance and reliability of bearings.

Biclustering has been extensively studied in many fields such as data mining, e-commerce, computational biology, information security, etc. Problems of finding bicliques in bipartite, which are variants of biclustering, have received much attention in recent years due to its importance for biclustering. The k-biclique vertex partition problem proposed by Bein et al. is one of finding bicliques problems in bipartite. Its aim is to find k bicliques (kk) such that each vertex of the bipartite occurs in exactly one member of these bicliques. First, we give a sufficient condition of the k-biclique vertex partition problem. Moreover, we present an exact algorithm for finding k-biclique vertex partitions of a bipartite. Finally, we propose a method to generate simulated datasets used to test the algorithm. Experimental results on simulated datasets show that the algorithm can find k-biclique vertex partitions of a bipartite with relatively fast speed.

More and more optical elements are needed in modern industry, which is reflected by both the bigger amount of requirement, and more complicated designed surface such as asphere and even free form surface. As a result, optical polishing using small tools on CNC machines is applied widely in the whole world, which has a lot of advantages such as fast speed, high accuracy, high flexibility and so on. But the small tool polishing can also cause in some problems. For example, the middle spatial frequency errors (MSFE) may be increased during the polishing. The reasons may consist of the following aspects: 1) the positional error of the workpiece; 2) the mistake of error data input; 3) the unexpected stop of the polishing process; 4) the stabilization of the slurry density during the process; 5) the temperature change of the contact area between the tool and the workpiece and so on. As is known, pitch is usually used in traditional optical manufacture, and it can reduce the middle and high spatial frequency errors in a large extent because of the different removal rate between the high points and low points on the optical surface. Therefore, the application of the combination of pitch and small tool is described in this paper in order to solve the MSFE problem, and we have got good polishing results of reducing the error from 2.155nm to 0.267nm by using the new pitch tool on the CNC machine after two runs.

Through using acetic acid resin, asphalt and urea resin organic pretreatment methods to pretreat the surface of rural construction waste, and testing of crush index and water absorption rate of recycled coarse aggregate after pretreatment, the research for the influence of organic pretreatment technology on physical and mechanical performance of recycled coarse aggregate. The results prove that organic infiltrating pretreatment technology can effectively enhance the density of the coarse aggregate and decrease the crush of recycled coarse aggregate index, in a certain extent. The crush index of recycled coarse aggregates after organic pretreatment decreases at almost 17.63%, what’s more, organic pretreatment technology can decrease the water absorption rate of coarse aggregate by a large margin. The water absorption rate of coarse aggregate can be reduced to a minimum of 2.03% which closes to the level of natural aggregates. Because of urea resin solidified into film at fast speed, high integrity and high wear resistance, and relatively cheap, urea resin’s pretreatment effects on recycled coarse aggregates is better than acetic acid resin and asphalt.

Large forest fires are very hazardous and often cause greater losses. However, due to the vast coverage of forests and the environmental complexity, monitoring which relies on sensor detection of direct contact almost cannot achieve its monitoring function. In this paper, the author proposes that long-range images will first be acquired and so do the images of a larger dynamic range of the observed region, then an embedded video monitoring system will be formed realizing a dynamic monitoring. With the techniques of dynamic image analysis and processing, dynamic image alarms and control signals can be obtained and such videos will be transmitted over the Internet in real-time. Experiments shows this system respond to fires with a fast speed of less than 20ms and the control of fire is highly accurate with a dynamic image area that is less than 1% of the background area.

In this paper, we propose a fast approach to simulate the dynamic behavior of skeletal muscles based on bio-mechanical and anatomical properties. In contrast to physically accurate deformation, this simulation achieves faster and better simulation of skeletal muscles, with the cost of unnoticeable visual accuracy. Internal constrains are generated to conserve linear and angular momentum which is essential for cloth self-collision. Deformation constraints are defined by using the muscle force-length relationship serve as Control Axial Curve, which constrainedly generates the active and passive force of the muscles to drive skeletal motion during the deformation process. This approach generates realistic visual effect, and manages the deformation of muscles on the basis of the bio-mechanical properties with fast speed. We have demonstrated the simulation by creating a musculoskeletal model of the upper limb.
