The article presents research on the assessment of iodine loading test before and after an oral dose of 50 mg iodine/iodide supplementation. The test shows iodine levels in urine after taking in supplemental dose of the iodine/iodide mixture to determine the iodine sufficiency or insufficiency of the whole body. It discusses findings on iodine excretion before and after taking in the dosage.
