Abstract

The article discusses American constitutionalism in relation to the author's views about the judicial legacy of the late U.S. Supreme Court (USSC) Justice Louis Dembitz Brandeis. According to the article, Brandeis is also known for his work as a lawyer, political activist, and presidential advisor. American judicial opinions are assessed, along with U.S. constitutional law-based cases such as Muller v. Oregon. Brandeis' role in the USSC's constitutional jurisprudence is examined.
