The article presents an introductory note of his poem titled "A Few Ways of Pulling Apart a Poem" along with his own criticism of the poem. The poem does lack "energy" somehow, and this lack is evident even in the poem's origins, says the author. The author believes that in some sense his poem is cold. It is this part that mumbles that he has been led in the poem to make his own wit at the expense of his heart or diaphragm. Towards the end he gives a description about the usage of the word "bourgeois" by novelist Arnold Kettle in a literary.
