The mathematical modeling of biological fluids holds paramount importance, given its diverse applications in the medical field. Understanding the peristaltic mechanism is crucial for gaining insights into various biological flows. This study focuses on numerically estimating the double-diffusive peristaltic flow of a non-Newtonian six constant Jefferys nanofluid within an irregular medium. The investigation considers the influences of nonlinear thermal emission, viscous dissolution, and induced magnetization, incorporating multiple slip conditions. The Buongiorno model is employed to underscore key features related to thermophoresis and Brownian diffusion coefficients. The convection of double diffusivity is elucidated through the Soret and Dufour variables. Lubrication technique is employed for mathematical simulation, and the resulting nonlinear coupled system of differential equations is solved numerically through the Mathematica program's built-in command (ND Solve function). The graphical representation of the impact of crucial flow variables, such as nanoparticle volume proportion, pressure gradient, solute density, temperature, pressure fluctuation per wavelength, and velocity distribution, provides valuable insight. The findings of the current study show that an increase in the Prandtl number and thermophoresis parameter leads to the expansion of thermal curves. The present research focuses on the MHD second-grade nanofluid flow with induced magnetic field and viscous dissipation over an exponentially stretching surface. The solutal and thermal energy equations are analyzed in the presence of thermophoretic effect and variable thermal conductivity. The solutal and thermal slip boundary conditions are imposed on the surface of the sheet. In the mathematical modeling, the Brownian motion, and thermophoresis consequences are also discussed. The physical appearance of the induced magnetic field on the second-grade nanofluid is the central aim of this investigation. The mathematical flow model which is in the form of nonlinear PDEs is transformed into the system of couple ODEs by the usage of suitable similarity variables. In this analysis, thermal and solutal stratifications in three-dimensional mixed convection flow of second grade fluid along an irregular cylinder through porous medium is demonstrated. Effect of induced magnetic induction is considered to deal many technological and scientific problems like crude oil purification, plasma confinement, rotating magnetic stars and power generation. The flow narrating continuity, magnetic flux, momentum, magnetic induction, concentration and heat equations are modeled in the form of PDEs. Set of dimensionless conversions are introduced to replace non-linear PDEs into a set of ODEs. To predict numerical solution of considering model, we used an efficient numerical technique Bvp4c. The research on entropy generation in a mechanical system is quite imperative owing to its immense applications in the production of advanced cooling devices and medical appliances. The basic need on this research is how to optimize the irreversibilities within the systems and channelize that energy towards the benefit. This study elucidates the entropy generation analysis of a Casson nanofluid near a stagnation point over a lubricated vertical wall. A thin film of shear-thinning liquid with power law index of 0.5 is employed on the wall to ensure the lubrication. The effect of induced magnetic field and the chemical reaction stimulated by the activation energy is also incorporated within the flow. The non-linear PDEs of the substantive problem along with the compatible interfacial and boundary conditions are reverted into ODEs with the aid of suitable similarity transformation, and then cracked numerically using the sixth-order Runge Kutta method assisted with Nachtsheim–Swigert shooting practice. AbstractHollow cylinder structures play a crucial role in scientific experiment and industrial production, and are widely used in various fields, including pipeline transportation of gases and liquids, high-speed engines, porous combustors, and other engineering equipments. As a result, they have garnered considerable academic interest over the years. However, as science and technology progress, studying hollow cylinders under a single physical field is no longer sufficient for real-world applications. Additionally, the classical viscoelastic model has become inadequate in accurately describing complex materials with properties that fall between elasticity and viscosity. Therefore, this article investigates the electro-magneto-thermoviscoelastic coupling behavior of an infinitely long rotating multilayer homogeneous hollow cylindrical conductor. In this study, based on the fractional-order three-phase lag thermoelasticity theory, the fractional-order viscoelastic system and the two-temperature theory are introduced to further increase the accuracy of the model. To solve the corresponding equations, the Laplace transform technique is employed, resulting in solutions with dimensionless physical quantities. Graphs and tables are used to make relevant comparisons and assess the effects of time, material layering properties, different thermoelastic theoretical models, fractional-order parameters and angular velocity on the considered physical quantities. Finally, the numerical results are discussed to reveal the dynamic response of a homogeneous multilayered hollow cylinder under the complex coupling of multiple physical fields. Entropy generation with time periodic thermal boundary conditions have numerous applications in heat exchangers, electronic devices, automatic and thermal control systems. The present research focuses on mixed convective hydromagnetic electrically conducting fluid flow in a vertical annulus using thermodynamic concepts, in the presence of induced magnetic field along with entropy generation and time periodic boundary conditions. The governing equations related to the present model are solved using finite element method. Also to predict heat transport features in the vertical annulus, artificial neural network – backpropogated Levenberg Marquardt algorithm is adopted. The steady and periodic profiles of velocity, skin friction, temperature and induced magnetic field are illustrated graphically for specific range of pertinent parameters to demonstrate significant aspects of the results. It is noted that increase in Hartmann number enhances the entropy generation near the outer cylinder, which illustrates that the fluid friction and magnetic field influence is maximum at the outer cylinder surface. The Bejan number in the annulus reduces with increase in viscous heating parameter. Results indicate that raise in the Prandtl number diminishes the thermal boundary layer thickness. As a result of decrease in the intensity of heating the boundary walls, a raise in Strouhal number lowers the fluid temperature profile. AbstractThis research scrutinizes the impact of the Thompson and Troian slip effect on a two-dimensional flow of ternary nanoliquid induced by an extending sheet near a stagnation point. Nanoparticles Iron oxide (Fe2O3), Nickle Zinc ferrite (NiZnFe2O4), and Magnesium zinc iron oxide (MnZnFe2O4) are dispersed in Ethylene glycol (C2H6O2) to establish ternary nanofluid. The induced magnetic field influences the flow, and the analysis of heat and mass transfers takes into account the Cattaneo–Christov (C–C) heat flux with homogenous–heterogeneous (H–H) reactions, respectively. To expedite the reaction, a surface-catalyzed process is introduced to efficiently control both (H–H) reactions within a reduced time frame. Utilizing the Tiwari and Das framework, the fluid flow characteristics are elucidated. AbstractIn the present investigation, the onset of Marangoni convection in the flow of self-rewetting fluid over a stretching disk has been discussed. The self-rewetting fluid is considered to be electrically conducting and the flow problem is discussed under the influence of an induced magnetic field. The fluid flow is mainly induced due to two different mechanisms: (i) onset of Marangoni convection due to presence of temperature gradient along the liquid-gas interface and (ii) induction of magnetic field due to presence of an external magnetic field, which modifies the original field. The governing partial differential equations are written, following Navier-stokes equations and Prandtl boundary layer equation. With the use of similarity transformations, the governing equations are turned into a system of ordinary differential equations. The Adomian Decomposition Method solved this system without long-wavelength approximation. AbstractThe current study investigates the influence of induced magnetic field and convective boundary condition on the behavior of a magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Maxwell fluid including nanoparticles flowing through a stretching sheet. Furthermore, the analysis considers the existence of radiation. Numerical solutions to the basic governing equations are achieved using the Runge–Kutta–Fehlberg technique. The impact of various physical parameters on concentration, velocity, and temperature profiles is deployed through graphs. The primary conclusions of this study are that increasing the Magnetic parameter decreases the Induced Magnetic field while increasing the Deborah parameter improves the velocity profile. Temperature distribution is growing due to increased estimates of the Radiation, Biot number, and Deborah number values. When the Lewis number values are raised, the concentration profiles get smaller but there is an opposite scenario deployed as the Thermophoresis parameter upsurges. The findings of this study are consistent with those that have been previously reported. The phenomenon of flow induced by a stretched surface finds several applications in various industrial and technological domains, including copper wire production, polymer extrusion, article manufacturing, and fiber synthesis. AbstractThe main objective of this framework is to formulate a model and carry out simulations on the thermally radiative biological fluid of Sisko nanofluid in the non-uniform channel under the combined effects of induced magnetic field and double diffusion convection. Additionally, the effect of viscous dissipation is also considered. The formulation and simplification of the governing equations for a non-Newtonian fluid with nanoparticles and double diffusion convection is done under the assumption of a long wavelength and low Reynolds number. The numerical solution of the proposed problem is calculated by utilizing built in commands in Matlab and Mathematica software’s. The equation solving is done in Mathematica using the integrated program NDSolve. The framework provides expressions for temperature, nanoparticle fraction, velocity, pressure rise, stream functions, pressure gradient, magnetic force function, and concentration. The impact of relevant parameters on various physical quantities is then analyzed through graphical representations, considering both non-Newtonian and viscous fluid behavior. The present analysis suggests that an increase in heat radiation may cause a drop in the temperature distribution strengthening the cooling effects. It is also found that as Brinkman number rise, buoyancy-driven flows have a greater impact on fluid motion. The concentration of nanoparticles may fluctuate and maybe decrease in specific locations in accordance with the dispersion and advection phenomena. AbstractThe investigation of the rheological properties of bio-magnetic nanofluid in the human circulatory system has attracted the attention of biomedical engineers, medical professionals and researchers in recent days to explore the potential of utilizing magnetic field in the diagnosis of cancer cells, thrombosis and cardiovascular diseases. The Eyring-Powell fluid model was employed in this investigation because it accurately captures the non-Newtonian features of blood owing to its shear thinning and stress relaxation qualities. The present study illustrates the importance of the induced magnetic field on Eyring-Powell nanofluid flow across three distinct geometries (stagnation point, plate, and wedge) with the presence of gyrotactic microorganisms. The investigation of different geometries provides essential information regarding their practical applications, such as the development of targeted therapies for localized drug delivery, the dissolution of blood clots to promote clot breakdown, the enhancement of drug delivery to specific regions, the prevention of biofilm formation on vessel walls, the promotion of improved blood flow, and the reduction of plaque for arterial health. The conversion of fluid transport equations into ordinary differential equations has been achieved through the utilization of appropriate self-similarity variables. The resulting equations have been solved with the use of the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg (RKF) approach. The present study investigates the heat and flow characteristics of mixed convective peristaltic transport of nanofluids containing magnetite γAl2O3 nanomaterials dispersed in conventional liquids, namely, ethylene glycol (C2H6O2) and water (H2O). The research provides a comprehensive analysis, considering various factors such as induced magnetic field, variable viscosity, buoyancy force, viscous dissipation, and porous media effects. The mathematical model is formulated based on a set of governing equations encompassing continuity, temperature, momentum, and induction, which are subsequently transformed into dimensionless form through appropriate scaling. A numerical method is employed to solve the resulting nonlinear differential equations. Results indicate that the velocity profile exhibits substantially higher magnitudes in the case of the γAl2O3-C2H6O2 nanoliquid when compared to the γAl2O3-H2O nanoliquid. Increasing the magnetic Reynolds number leads to a higher magnitude of the axial-induced magnetic field. An analysis is carried out to study the two-dimensional stagnant point flow of titanium dioxide (T i O 2) -titanium alloy (T i 6 A l 4 V) /carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) water-based hybrid nanoliquid over an expanding surface characterized by the induced magnetic field (IMF). Abstract This study investigates the flow of three different ternary hybrid nanofluids (THNFs) over a stretching cylinder in a Darcy–Forchheimer permeable medium. The THNFs are made of a mixture of silver, titanium dioxide, and graphene oxide nanoparticles dispersed in water, kerosene oil, and engine oil, separately. The study compares the behavior of the three THNFs and considers the effects of an induced magnetic field, homogenous–heterogeneous reactions, slip boundary conditions, and convective conditions. A bvp4c package of MATLAB software is engaged to find the numerical solution of the modeled equations system and the outcomes are displayed through graphs. It is witnessed that large estimates of the curvature parameter boost the fluid velocity and temperature. Additionally, the surface drag coefficient improves with increasing Darcy–Forchheimer effect. Of the three THNFs, the one with kerosene oil as the base fluid has the best performance. It is witnessed that for γ = 1 , the heat transfer rate for engine oil is 19.14% more in comparison to kerosene oil. Similarly, it is 12.83% higher than water. The same is the case for γ = 2 , and γ = 3. In addition, the volume fraction of nanoparticles decreases the velocity profile, while the Biot number increases the thermal profile. Abstract Ternary and hybrid nanofluid flows have a wide range and diverse applications including lubrication, biomedical applications, energy conservation, and heat transfer, and continuous research in this subject is expected to discover new and inventive applications in the future. Aiming the same, the current research is intended to observe the responses of ferromagnetic nanoparticles in a dissipative comparative evaluation of ternary and hybrid nanoliquid flows along an exponentially extended surface under the consequences of an externally induced magnetic field in a porous media. Three distinct forms of ferroparticles—cobalt ferrite (CoFe2O4 ), magnetite (Fe3O4 ), and manganese zinc ferrite (Mn-ZnFe2O4 )—are taken into account using ethylene glycol as the fundamental fluid. The ternary nanofluid is comprised of (CoFe2O4+MnZnFe2O4+Fe3O4 /Ethylene glycol) combination. Whereas (CoFe2O4+MnZnFe2O4 /Ethylene glycol) mixture forms a hybrid nanofluid. A surface-catalyzed reaction is also introduced to regulate the homogeneous and heterogeneous (H-H) reactions and to commence the reaction in a comparatively shorter time. The entropy generation assessment is performed for ferromagnetic ternary and hybrid nanofluid flows. The envisioned mathematical model is transformed into a dimensionless system using a valid non-similarity transformation. The engagement of the non-similar solution eradicates the chance of parameters involving variable terms. The numerical solution for the various distributions is obtained by implementing the bvp4c technique with distinct parameters. Graphical demonstrations and tabular outcomes are given to illustrate the role of emergent parameters. Findings revealed that for surface-catalyzed parameter the concentration profile dwindled more for hybrid nanofluid. This article presents a computational study for the peristaltic pumping within vertical irregular divergence channels filled with magnetic six-constant Jeffrey nanofluids. Various configurations of the outer boundaries are considered, namely, square wave, trapezoidal wave, multisinusoidal wave, and triangular wave. An induced magnetic field together with nanoparticles and mass concentration are considered. Influences of the Dufour and Soret numbers are examined, and the cases of long wavelength and low Reynolds number are applied. All the computations are obtained numerically via MATHEMATICA symbolical software (built-in command ND-Solve), and the obtained results are presented in terms of the axial velocity u , current density J z , the function of magnetic force Φ , axially induced magnetic field h x , nanoparticle fraction profile Ω , concentration profile γ , temperature profile θ , extra stress tensor S x y , pressure gradient d p d x , pressure rise Δ p λ , and stream function ψ. The major outcomes revealed that the square wave shape gives higher pressure gradients near the inlet and outlet parts while the multisinusoidal wave gives periodic behaviors of d p d x. Stagnation point flow defines the fluid motion near the stagnation point of a solid surface and has utilization in the process of polymer extrusion, electronic gadgets cooling, nuclear reactor, etc. Furthermore, the main theme of this work is to analyze the heat transfer characteristics of stagnation point flow of Casson nanofluid over stretching sheet using induced magnetic field and Cattaneo-Christov model. The Casson fluid is a non-Newtonian fluid model; and in the current work the working fluid consists of nanoparticles of Au (Gold) and blood (Casson fluid). In the existing model, temperature of the surface depends on the distance from the stagnation point. Therefore, Darcy-Forchheimer porous model is incorporated. The solution of coupled nonlinear PDEs is obtained by bvp4c. The heat transfer and flow characteristics of Au-blood based Casson nanofluid are discussed graphically. Compared with the fractional order generalized themoelastic theory, the generalized thermoelastic theory based on the memory-dependent derivative has following significant advantages: First, the generalized thermoelastic theory with memory-dependent derivative has more specific physical meanings and can excellently describe that the present state of a system is dependent on its past states; Second, the memory-dependent derivative is based on the integer order calculus, which is more convenient to operate than fractional order model; Particularly, for different kernel functions, the time-dealy factor has different choice to adapt to different specific problems, which makes it greatly possible to describe the real thermoelastic response of medium. In present work, the transient response of an infinite rotating hollow cylindrical conductor with variable material properties subjected to a thermal shock at its inner surface is investigated based on the generalized thermoelastic theory with memory-dependent derivative. The hollow cylinder is placed in an external magnetic field with constant intensity, whose outer surface is traction free. The governing equations are formulated and then solved by using Laplace transform and its numerical inversion. The distributions of the dimensionless temperature, displacement, induced electric field, induced magnetic field, hoop stress as well as radial stress in the cylinder are obtained and illustrated graphically. The obtained results show that the kernel function, the time-delay factor and the temperature-dependent material properties influence the distributions of the considered variables more or less, while, the angular velocity significantly influence the variations of the dimensionless displacement, hoop stress and radial stress. This study aims to scrutinize the hydrodynamic and heat transmission of MHD water (H2O)-based nanoliquid flow across a permeable stretched curved surface affected by an induced magnetic field. The thermal equation incorporates the Cattaneo–Christov (C-C) heat flux's influence. The partial differential equations (PDEs) that constitute the mathematical description of the flow phenomenon are developed using a curvilinear coordinate system. Koo–Kleinstreuer–Li (KKL) correlations for dynamic viscosity and thermal conductivity are used to investigate the Brownian motion and static behavior of nanoparticles in the working liquid. A MATLAB bvp4c approach is employed to compute the momentum- and energy-based ordinary differential equations, which are obtained through similarity transformation. Graphs are used to establish the impression of relevant nondimensional parameters. Further, the impact of engineering quantities is illustrated through tables. The results indicate that when enhancing the curvature parameter the induced magnetic field profile escalates. It is also inferred that when the Brownian motion is taken into account rather than just taking into account the static feature of particles, the surface drag coefficient is observed to be higher. Furthermore, when the Brownian motion of nanoparticles is evaluated rather than static motion, the heat transfer rate achieved is found to be greater. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The core part of current model is to analyze the entropy generation and 2-dimensional unsteady stagnation flow with suction/injection constraint present in the boundary. Further, the induced magnetic field has applied with this flow model, which is formed by the motion of fluid that conducts electrically. The time-dependent partial differential equations (PDE) of the recent model are first converted to non-linear ordinary differential equations (ODE) using suitable similarity variables. We obtain solutions numerically using inbuilt shooting technic. We demonstrate the results using the graphs, tables and discussed them in detail. A mathematical model is developed to study on the influence of magnetic field on the flow of biofluids. This paper describes the laminar, viscous incompressible flow, which is a fully developed flow of a conducting biomagnetic fluid in a rectangular duct with square cross-section, is numerically studied under the influence of magnetic field. Therefore, numerical simulation was carried out by using the Spectral method as a main numerical technique and Newton-Raphson method, Collocation Method and Chebyshev polynomial are considered as secondary tools. The results revealed that the magnetic field separates red blood cells from the whole blood with collapsing in the central line. This results will be applicable in the potential applications of medical science such as the development of magnetic devices for cell separation, targeted transport of drugs using magnetic particles as drug carriers, magnetic wound or cancer tumour treatment causing magnetic hyperthermia, reduction of bleeding during some surgeries. The problem of peristaltic flow in a channel is solved using the incompressible and magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Oldroyd-B fluid. The induced magnetic field effects are incorporated in the mathematical modeling. Computations are performed for the small wave number. The obtained mathematical results show that the induced magnetic field effects taken into account in the model substantially affect the flow quantities. It is found that relaxation and retardation times have opposite effects on the flow quantities such as velocity and pressure rise. Moreover, it is observed that induced magnetic field and current density are larger for Oldroyd-B fluid than for the viscous fluid. In this study, we investigate the effects of an induced magnetic field on the peristaltic transport of a Phan-Thien-Tanner (PTT) fluid in an asymmetric channel. Asymmetry in the flow is induced because of wave trains with different amplitudes and phases. Development of mathematical analysis is made under long wavelength and low Reynolds number approximations. Explicit expressions of stream function, pressure gradient, magnetic force function, axial induced magnetic field, and current density are derived.
