This article performs bibliometric analysis to study the contributions of Saudi institutions in the education field in journals indexed in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI) and Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED). Publications from 1991 to 2020 were assessed. Characteristics of document types, publication outputs, Web of Science categories and journals, and publication performances in terms of quantity for countries and institutes were investigated. To investigate performance quality, citation histories of the most frequently cited articles in the 30 years and the most frequently cited articles in 2020 were examined. The number of citations from the WoS Core Collection in the most recent year, total number of citations since the publication year 2020, and citations per publication were used to evaluate publication performances. Results showed that educational research articles were substantially published in the last decade. The most number of articles were published in the category of scientific disciplines education, followed by the education and educational research category. For international collaboration, Saudi Arabia had the most number of international collaborations with the US. However, articles that were collaborated with Germany had the highest impact. Publications on Total Quality Management (TQM) over the last three decades are numerous; however, systematic quantitative reviews are scarce. The aim of this paper is to provide scholars and practitioners with a comprehensive view of the extant literature on TQM. The method of bibliometric analysis is used to highlight the advances in research, the results achieved by previous studies, the gaps in the literature and the most current trends. The results show publication outputs of countries, institutes, journals, and research fields, the most cited authors and works, the most used keywords and the research trends. This work provides scholars with a systematization of the TQM research field and suggestions on how to contribute to the advancement of research on this topic. For practitioners, this paper offers an outline of the most important and current research results from which to obtain insights about techniques and strategies that best suit the implementation of TQM in their organisations. Various endeavors are undertaken by the maritime industry, academia, and policy-makers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. These include the search for feasible technologies that could be used onboard merchant vessels and are propelled by international legal and social initiatives. To this end, this study aimed to critically analyze the research trends pertaining to the active methods of reducing the negative environmental impact of shipping. The research is focused on alternative fuels and renewable energy systems with respect to the related policy-making and existing legal framework. Therefore, a bibliometric approach was applied to a sample of 234 scientific papers indexed in the SCI-EXPANDED in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection. The results indicate that the scientific efforts were made more on alternative fuels, while renewable energy sources only recently became a popular research subject. Moreover, the environmental benefits of prospective technologies are more investigated than their financial aspects. A bibliometric analysis of high impact and highly cited peer-reviewed literature published between 1992 and 2016 by Canadian occupational therapy authors that were included in the Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-E) or Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) was completed. To complete the analysis, journal article titles, abstracts, author details, and keywords were searched. A second-filter identified articles where the first or corresponding author had a Canadian affiliation and occupational therapy qualification. The total number of times an article was cited since its initial publication and during 2016 in Web of Science Core Collection was recorded. A total of 919 retrieved articles met the inclusion criteria with 18 articles having 5 or more citations during 2016 alone and another 34 articles having 50 or more citations since their initial publication date. The top three journals where high impact and highly-cited articles were published were Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Disability and Rehabilitation, and American Journal of Occupational Therapy. The three institutions that generated the largest number of high impact and highly cited articles were McGill University, University of Toronto, and University of British Columbia. This paper presents a bibliometric analysis of highly cited articles published in the Web of Science category "Education and Educational Research" in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI). A total of 2091 journal articles published in this category and cited more than 100 times up to the end of the year 2016 were retrieved as highly cited articles. Distributions of highly cited articles per publication year, journals, institutions and countries were analysed, as well as the citation life cycle of the top-cited articles. Background: Bibliometrics involves the statistical analysis of the publications in a specific discipline or subject area. A bibliometric analysis of the occupational therapy refereed literature is needed. Aim: A bibliometric analysis was completed of the occupational therapy literature from 1991-2014, indexed in the Science Citation Index-Expanded or the Social Sciences Citation Index. Method: Publications were searched by title, abstract, keywords, and KeyWords Plus. Total number of article citations, citations per journal, and contributions per country, individual authors, and institution were calculated. Results: 5,315 occupational therapy articles were published in 821 journals. It appears that there is a citation window of an approximate 10-year period between the time of publication and the peak number of citations an article receives. The top three most highly cited articles were published in Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology, JAMA, and Lancet. AJOT, BJOT and AOTJ published the largest number of occupational therapy articles with the United States, Australia, and Canada producing the highest number of publications. McMaster University, the University of Queensland, and the University of Toronto were the institutions that published the largest number of occupational therapy journal articles. A bibliometric analysis was completed of peer-reviewed literature from 1991–2015, written by American occupational therapists, to examine US high impact scholarship with “occupational therapy” and “occupational therapist(s)” used as keywords to search journal articles' publication title, abstract, author details, and keywords. Results included 1,889 journal articles from 1991–2015 published by American occupational therapists as first or corresponding author. Sixty-nine articles attained aTotalCitation2015≥ 50 and 151 attained aCitation2015≥ 5 indicating that they were the most highly cited literature produced in this period. Although the majority (58%) of this literature was published in occupational therapy-specific journals, 41% was published in interdisciplinary journals. Results illustrate that the volume of highly cited American occupational therapy peer-reviewed literature has grown over the last two decades. There is need for the profession to strategize methods to enhance the publication metrics of occupational therapy-specific journals to reduce the loss of high quality publications to external periodicals. In order to publish a bibliometric research result, using appropriate searching keywords and Web of Science databases correctly are significant. Qian, Law, and Wei (2019) used inappropriate searching keywords to publish bibliometric paper in Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism, which may result in misleading readers of the journal. In addition, using such kind of poor method to publish papers is getting popular. This comment would like to offer results by applying appropriate searching keywords and accurate method. We presented a bibliometric analysis of publications on global scientific and technological research in the field of fuel cell based on the data from Science Citation Index Expanded, Web of Science from 1992 to 2011, to provide insights into the characteristics, research activities and technological breakthrough and identify patterns and tendencies. Articles were assessed by many aspects, including model regression fitting the trend of publication outputs, distribution of words in source title, author keyword and KeyWords Plus. By synthetically analysing the keywords, it can be inferred that application of fuel cell ranges from automobiles to consumer electronic devices. Research especially related to ‘proton exchange membrane fuel cell’, ‘direct methanol fuel cell’, ‘molten carbonate fuel cell’, ‘solid oxide fuel cell’ and ‘catalysts’ is the orientation of the fuel cell research in the twenty-first century. The kinetic study of the aqueous extraction of Tilia sapwood was based on temperature, while all the other factors were kept constant. Several models were used and compared to explain the kinetics of the aqueous solid-liquid extraction of Tilia sapwood. For each model, the rate constant, the equilibrium extraction capacity, and the initial extraction rate were evaluated to analyze the suitability of these kinetic models to describe the leaching process for temperatures ranging from 313 to 363 K. The pseudo first-order model could not be applied during the whole of the process. The Elovich model provided a good degree of correlation (from 0.929 to 0.988) and could be applied all along the extraction process. The pseudo second-order model was satisfactorily applied, with coefficients of correlation over 0.998, showing that it perfectly described the process. The kinetics of Basic Red 18 and Acid Blue 9 sorption onto activated clay have been investigated. A batch sorption model, based on the assumption of a pseudo–second order mechanism, has been developed to predict the rate constant of sorption, the equilibrium sorption capacity, and initial sorption rate with the effect of initial dye concentration, activated clay particle size, temperature, and pH value.
