Pregnant women are at higher risk of getting severe Covid-19 disease and consequences on the health status of them and their fetuses. Despite vaccination, all preventive behaviors are emphasized. This study aimed to identify the determinants of Covid-19 preventive health behaviors in pregnant women using Extended Parallel Process Model. This cross-sectional study, was conducted on 175pregnant women. The model fit indices were acceptable. Knowledge had indirect effect on adherence to Covid-19 preventive behaviors trough mediating role of self-efficacy and response efficacy. So, it is suggested that, educational interventions should focus on increasing knowledge. There were statistically significant correlations between all constructs of the EPPM model except knowledge, with adherence to Covid-19 preventive behaviors. Self-efficacy and response efficacy were the strongest predictors of Covid-19 prevention behaviors Perceived susceptibility and severity were the other significant predictors of Covid-19 preventive behaviors. Achieving the optimal Quality of Life (QoL) has been the expected outcome of all evolutionary periods in human life, including retirement. The present study aimed to determine the relationship between QoL, retirement resources, and retirement adjustment among retirees. This analytical cross-sectional study was conducted on 220 Iranian retirees who had been retired for 1–10 years. The study data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire, which was completed in person by 112 retirees and online using a WhatsApp or Telegram link by the rest. Pearson's correlation coefficient was utilized to determine the bivariate correlation between the study constructs. Additionally, multiple linear regression was used to assess the retirement resources predicting QoL and retirement adjustment. The study results revealed that the mean scores for retirement adjustment were not the same at different levels of education. Moreover, there was a significant positive relationship between retirement adjustment and retirement resources. A significant positive relationship was also observed between retirement resources, retirement adjustment, and QoL. In addition, mental and financial resources were assumed as better predictors of retirement adjustment, while physical resources could better forecast the QoL. The results indicated that having access to various resources during retirement could lead to a higher QoL and retirement adjustment among retirees. Therefore, paying much more attention to these results can help design interventions to gain access to different resources and improve retirement adjustment and QoL in these individuals.
