This paper proposes a new stochastic eco-epidemiological model with nonlinear incidence rate and feedback controls. First, we prove that the stochastic system has a unique global positive solution. Second, by constructing a series of appropriate stochastic Lyapunov functions, the asymptotic behaviors around the equilibria of deterministic model are obtained, and we demonstrate that the stochastic system exists a stationary Markov process. Third, the conditions for persistence in the mean and extinction of the stochastic system are established. Finally, we carry out some numerical simulations with respect to different stochastic parameters to verify our analytical results. The obtained results indicate that the stochastic perturbations and feedback controls have crucial effects on the survivability of system.

Computer-aided diagnosis systems for polyp characterization are commercially available but cannot recognize subtypes of sessile lesions. This study aimed to develop a computer-aided diagnosis system to characterize polyps using non-magnified white-light endoscopic images.A total of 2249 non-magnified white-light images from 1030 lesions including 534 tubular adenomas, 225 sessile serrated adenoma/polyps, and 271 hyperplastic polyps in the proximal colon were consecutively extracted from an image library and divided into training and testing datasets (4:1), based on the date of colonoscopy. Using ResNet-50 networks, we developed a classifier (1) to differentiate adenomas from serrated lesions, and another classifier (2) to differentiate sessile serrated adenoma/polyps from hyperplastic polyps. Diagnostic performance was assessed using the testing dataset. The computer-aided diagnosis system generated a probability score for each image, and a probability score for each lesion was calculated as the weighted mean with a logThe area under the curve of classifier (1) for adenomas was equivalent to E1 and superior to E2 (classifier 86%, E1 86%, E2 69%; classifier vs. E2, p 0.001). In contrast, the area under the curve of classifier (2) for sessile serrated adenoma/polyps was inferior to both experts (classifier 55%, E1 68%, E2 79%; classifier vs. E2, p 0.001).The classifier (1) developed using white-light images alone compares favorably with experts in differentiating adenomas from serrated lesions. However, the classifier (2) to identify sessile serrated adenoma/polyps is inferior to experts.

Background Cattle (Bos taurus) are a major large livestock, however, compared with other species, the transcriptional specificity of bovine oocyte development has not been emphasised. Results To reveal the unique transcriptional signatures of bovine oocyte development, we used integrated multispecies comparative analysis and weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) to perform bioinformatic analysis of the germinal follicle (GV) and second meiosis (MII) gene expression profile from cattle, sheep, pigs and mice. We found that the expression levels of most genes were down-regulated from GV to MII in all species. Next, the multispecies comparative analysis showed more genes involved in the regulation of cAMP signalling during bovine oocyte development. Moreover, the green module identified by WGCNA was closely related to bovine oocyte development. Finally, integrated multispecies comparative analysis and WGCNA picked up 61 bovine-specific signature genes that participate in metabolic regulation and steroid hormone biosynthesis. Conclusion In a short, this study provides new insights into the regulation of cattle oocyte development from a cross-species comparison.

The recently discovered infinite-layer nickelates show great promise in helping to disentangle the various cooperative mechanisms responsible for high-temperature superconductivity. However, lack of antiferromagnetic order in the pristine nickelates presents a challenge for connecting the physics of the cuprates and nickelates. Here, by using a quantum many-body Green's function-based approach to treat the electronic and magnetic structures, we unveil the presence of many two- and three-dimensional magnetic stripe instabilities that are shown to persist across the phase diagram of LaNiO$_2$. Our analysis indicates that the magnetic properties of the infinite-layer nickelates are closer to those of the doped cuprates which host inhomogeneous ground states rather than the undoped cuprates. The computed magnon spectrum in LaNiO$_2$ is found to contain an admixture of contributions from localized and itinerant carriers. The theoretically obtained magnon dispersion is in accord with the results of the corresponding RIXS experiments. Objective This study compared the clinical effects of two different lipid emulsions in premature infants with gestational age Methods This was a prospective multicenter randomized controlled study. A total of 465 VPIs or VLBWIs, admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit of five tertiary hospitals in China from March 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021, were recruited. All subjects were randomly allocated into two groups, namely, medium-chain triglycerides/long-chain triglycerides (MCT/LCT) group (n = 231) and soybean oil, medium-chain triglycerides, olive oil, and fish oil (SMOF) group (n = 234). Clinical features, biochemical indexes, nutrition support therapy, and complications were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results No significant differences were found in perinatal data, hospitalization, parenteral and enteral nutrition support between the two groups (P > 0.05). Compared with the MCT/LCT group, the incidence of neonates with a peak value of total bilirubin (TB) > 5 mg/dL (84/231 [36.4% vs. 60/234 [25.6%]), a peak value of direct bilirubin (DB) ≥ 2 mg/dL (26/231 [11.3% vs. 14/234 [6.0%]), a peak value of alkaline phosphatase (ALP) > 900 IU/L (17/231 [7.4% vs. 7/234 [3.0%]), and a peak value of triglycerides (TG) > 3.4 mmol/L (13/231 [5.6% vs. 4/234[1.7%]]) were lower in the SMOF group (P P = 0.043 and 0.029, respectively), whereas no significant differences were present in the incidence of PNAC and MBDP between the two groups at > 28 weeks group (P = 0.177 and 0.991, respectively). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that the incidence of PNAC (aRR: 0.38, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.20–0.70, P = 0.002) and MBDP (aRR: 0.12, 95% CI: 0.19–0.81, P = 0.029) in the SMOF group were lower than that in the MCT/LCT group. In addition, no significant differences were recorded in the incidence of patent ductus arteriosus, feeding intolerance, necrotizing enterocolitis (Bell’s stage ≥ 2), late-onset sepsis, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia, retinopathy of prematurity and extrauterine growth retardation between the two groups (P > 0.05). Conclusions The application of mixed oil emulsion in VPI or VLBWI can reduce the risk of plasma TB > 5 mg/dL, DB ≥ 2 mg/dL, ALP > 900 IU/L, and TG > 3.4 mmol/L during hospitalization. SMOF has better lipid tolerance, reduces the incidence of PNAC and MBDP, and exerts more benefits in preterm infants with gestational age

Quantum entanglement between an interfering particle and a detector for acquiring the which-path information plays a central role for enforcing Bohr's complementarity principle. However, the quantitative relation between this entanglement and the fringe visibility remains untouched upon for an initial mixed state. Here we find an equality for quantifying this relation. Our equality characterizes how well the interference pattern can be preserved when an interfering particle, initially carrying a definite amount of coherence, is entangled, to a certain degree, with a which-path detector. This equality provides a connection between entanglement and interference in the unified framework of coherence, revealing the quantitative entanglement-interference complementarity. We experimentally demonstrate this relation with a superconducting circuit, where a resonator serves as a which-path detector for an interfering qubit. The measured fringe visibility of the qubit's Ramsey signal and the qubit-resonator entanglement exhibit a complementary relation, in well agreement with the theoretical prediction., 19 pages, 9 figures, 1 table

In order to reveal the complex mechanism governing the mitotic/meiotic switch in female germ cells at epigenomic and genomic levels, we examined the chromatin accessibility (scATAC-seq) and the transcriptional dynamics (scRNA-seq) in germ cells of mouse embryonic ovary between E11.5 to 13.5 at single-cell resolution. Adopting a strict transcription factors (TFs) screening framework that makes it easier to understand the single-cell chromatin signature and a TF interaction algorithm that integrates the transcript levels, chromatin accessibility, and motif scores, we identified 14 TFs potentially regulating the mitotic/meiotic switch, including TCFL5, E2F1, E2F2, E2F6, E2F8, BATF3, SP1, FOS, FOXN3, VEZF1, GBX2, CEBPG, JUND, and TFDP1. Focusing on TCFL5, we constructed Tcfl5+/− mice which showed significantly reduced fertility and found that decreasing TCFL5 expression in cultured E12.5 ovaries by RNAi impaired meiotic progression from leptotene to zygotene. Bioinformatics analysis of published results of the embryonic germ cell transcriptome and the finding that in these cells central meiotic genes (Stra8, Tcfl5, Sycp3, and E2f2) possess open chromatin status already at the mitotic stage together with other features of TCFL5 (potential capability to interact with core TFs and activate meiotic genes, its progressive activation after preleptotene, binding sites in the promoter region of E2f2 and Sycp3), indicated extensive amplification of transcriptional programs associated to mitotic/meiotic switch with an important contribution of TCFL5. We conclude that the identified TFs, are involved in various stages of the mitotic/meiotic switch in female germ cells, TCFL5 primarily in meiotic progression. Further investigation on these factors might give a significant contribution to unravel the molecular mechanisms of this fundamental process of oogenesis and provide clues about pathologies in women such as primary ovarian insufficiency (POI) due at least in part to meiotic defects.

Background Tripartite motif (TRIM) family genes get involved in the pathogenesis and development of various biological processes; however, the prognostic value of TRIM genes for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) needs to be explored. Methods We acquired gene expression based on bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) cells and clinical data of three independent IPF cohorts in the GSE70866 dataset from the Gene expression omnibus (GEO) database. Differentially expressed TRIM genes (DETGs) between IPF patients and healthy donors were identified and used to establish a risk signature by univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis in the training cohort. The risk signature was further validated in other IPF cohorts, and compared with previously published signatures. Moreover, we performed functional enrichment analysis to explore the potential mechanisms. Eventually, the quantitative real time PCR was conducted to validate the expressions of the key genes in BAL from 12 IPF patients and 12 non-IPF controls from our institution. Results We identified 4 DETGs including TRIM7, MEFV, TRIM45 and TRIM47 significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of IPF patients (P P Conclusion The TRIM family genes are significant for the prognosis of IPF and our signature could serve as a robust model to predict OS.

In this white paper, community governance of online and offline aggregate services depends on the various assets and functions of the community, acts in collaboration with community stakeholders, and prevents and resists contingencies. Defined as a community with the ability to self-organize, self-adapt, and self-heal Interference or disaster to achieve sustainable development. This paper puts forward the benefit evaluation method of community governance, which is used to evaluate the implementation effect of online and offline community governance system. Taking a county as an example, this paper analyzes the impact of the challenge and novelty of this model on urban construction. Research shows that in the previous community governance model, about 50% of the people think that the managers of all institutions related to public welfare should not take management as the purpose, and even nearly 70% of the respondents also stressed that these institutions should not be allowed to collect legal management fees or commission fees. At the same time, 40% of respondents admitted that they did not trust the quality of free services provided by public welfare agencies. The online and offline aggregate service modes adopted by the city not only work well in the city's economy, but also increase the city's GDP by 12%. This is 3.6% higher than in the previous mode. In addition, this model will accelerate the process of democratic construction and improve people's happiness index.

Urban trees perform various ecosystem services, and tree DBH (trunk diameter at breast height, 1.3 m above the ground) can act as a surrogate measure of these important functions. However, DBH has seldom been studied in relation to spatial variation, possible underlying drivers, and response to urbanization. Our field investigation collected data from tree species within Urban Function Units (UFUs) in south China's coastal city Zhanjiang, which has recently experienced rapid urbanization. The land cover of UFUs was determined by visual interpretation of satellite images. Trees with DBH > 2 cm were assessed, and vines were excluded. We recorded 12,434 trees in the green space belonging to 185 species, 137 genera, and 51 families. The dominant DBH range, 5‒15 cm, accounted for 43.72% of the total stems. The DBH of 33 individuals exceeded 90 cm, 20 of which were Ficus species. At 32.39 cm, the average DBH in commercial areas was the highest among the UFU types, while woodlands had the lowest at 7.11 cm. GLMM analysis showed that UFU types, landscape configuration, land cover, and construction age were all significantly associated with tree DBH. Tree DBH had a significant positive correlation with impervious surface area and a negative correlation with green space surface area. The largest trees were mainly distributed in urban villages, schools, parks, and transportation areas. Understanding urban tree DBH structure and its related factors can promote sustainable urban-forest development and management.

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are usually 5′ capped and 3′ polyadenylated, similar to most typical mRNAs. However, recent studies revealed a type of snoRNA-related lncRNA with unique structures, leading to questions on how they are processed and how they work. Here, we identify a novel snoRNA-related lncRNA named LNC-SNO49AB containing two C/D box snoRNA sequences, SNORD49A and SNORD49B; and show that LNC-SNO49AB represents an unreported type of lncRNA with a 5′-end m7G and a 3′-end snoRNA structure. LNC-SNO49AB was found highly expressed in leukemia patient samples, and silencing LNC-SNO49AB dramatically suppressed leukemia progression in vitro and in vivo. Subcellular location indicated that the LNC-SNO49AB is mainly located in nucleolus and interacted with the nucleolar protein fibrillarin. However, we found that LNC-SNO49AB does not play a role in 2′-O-methylation regulation, a classical function of snoRNA; instead, its snoRNA structure affected the lncRNA stability. We further demonstrated that LNC-SNO49AB could directly bind to the adenosine deaminase acting on RNA 1(ADAR1) and promoted its homodimerization followed by a high RNA A-to-I editing activity. Transcriptome profiling shows that LNC-SNO49AB and ADAR1 knockdown respectively share very similar patterns of RNA modification change in downstream signaling pathways, especially in cell cycle pathways. These findings suggest a previously unknown class of snoRNA-related lncRNAs, which function via a manner in nucleolus independently on snoRNA-guide rRNA modification. This is the first report that a lncRNA regulates genome-wide RNA A-to-I editing by enhancing ADAR1 dimerization to facilitate hematopoietic malignancy, suggesting that LNC-SNO49AB may be a novel target in therapy directed to leukemia.

Neuronal intranuclear inclusion disease (NIID) is a rare progressive neurodegenerative disorder, with complex and diverse of clinical manifestations characterized by eosinophilic hyaline inclusions in neurons and somatic cells. Due to the improvement in diagnostic methods, NIID is being increasingly diagnosed. Herein, we reported three NIID cases, which were diagnosed by skin biopsy and FMR1 gene, after DWI showed the characteristic corticomedullary junction hyperintensity. Then we reviewed all the published cases of NIID in PubMed, which were diagnosed by the same method. We discussed 15 NIID cases, including three cases diagnosed by us. The average age was 63.4 ± 14.0 years. The average time from onset of symptom to diagnosis was 5.4 ± 7.9 years. Nine cases had dementia or cognitive impairment. Three cases presented with encephalitis. Three cases showed bladder dysfunction and two cases only presented with dizziness and headache. Two cases showed acute neurological deficit mimicking stroke. All cases were diagnosed by skin biopsy, after DWI showed abnormal corticomedullary junction hyperintensity. Ten cases showed inclusions in sweat gland cells, and seven cases in adipocytes, sweat gland cells, and fibroblasts. EMG was performed in five cases, four of whom had abnormal results, showing simultaneous involvement of motor and sensory nerves. The results indicated that inclusions were more easily detected in sweat gland cells in skin biopsy. The early stage of NIID could only characterized by autonomic nerve function involvement. Combined autonomic nerve dysfunction might be another relatively common manifestation in NIID.

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα), a ligand-activated nuclear receptor critical for systemic lipid homeostasis, has been shown closely related to cardiac remodeling. However, the roles of cardiomyocyte PPARα in pressure overload-induced cardiac remodeling remains unclear because of lacking a cardiomyocyte-specific Ppara-deficient (Ppara(ΔCM)) mouse model. This study aimed to determine the specific role of cardiomyocyte PPARα in transverse aortic constriction (TAC)-induced cardiac remodeling using an inducible Ppara(ΔCM) mouse model. Ppara(ΔCM) and Ppara(fl/fl) mice were randomly subjected to sham or TAC for 2 weeks. Cardiomyocyte PPARα deficiency accelerated TAC-induced cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis. Transcriptome analysis showed that genes related to fatty acid metabolism were dramatically downregulated, but genes critical for glycolysis were markedly upregulated in Ppara(ΔCM) hearts. Moreover, the hypertrophy-related genes, including genes involved in extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, cell adhesion, and cell migration, were upregulated in hypertrophic Ppara(ΔCM) hearts. Western blot analyses demonstrated an increased HIF1α protein level in hypertrophic Ppara(ΔCM) hearts. PET/CT analyses showed an enhanced glucose uptake in hypertrophic Ppara(ΔCM) hearts. Bioenergetic analyses further revealed that both basal and maximal oxygen consumption rates and ATP production were significantly increased in hypertrophic Ppara(fl/fl) hearts; however, these increases were markedly blunted in Ppara(ΔCM) hearts. In contrast, hypertrophic Ppara(ΔCM) hearts exhibited enhanced extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) capacity, as reflected by increased basal ECAR and glycolysis but decreased glycolytic reserve. These results suggest that cardiomyocyte PPARα is crucial for the homeostasis of both energy metabolism and ECM during TAC-induced cardiac remodeling, thus providing new insights into potential therapeutics of cardiac remodeling-related diseases.

Two novel metal–organic coordination complexes based on L [L = 3,6-bis(imidazol-1-yl)pyridazine], which could also be called as [Ni(L)(1,3,5-H2BTC)2H2O]n 1 (1,3,5-H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid) and {[Ni2(L)(2,6-PYDC)2(H2O)2]·5H2O}n 2 (2,6-H2PYDC = 2,6-pyridine dicarboxylic acid) have been formed using solvothermal method by reaction of Ni(II) salts with the L ligand in the presence of different carboxylate ligands (1,3,5-H3BTC for 1 and 2,6-H2PYDC for 2). The treatment activity of compounds 1 and 2 on the neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy was estimated, then the relevant mechanism was discussed. Firstly, the quantity of the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) in the cerebrospinal fluid was measured by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detection kit. In addition to this, the expression levels of the glutamate receptor on the brain nerve cells were estimated by real time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).

SARS-CoV-2, the culprit pathogen of COVID-19, elicits prominent immune responses and cytokine storms. Intracellular Cl− is a crucial regulator of host defense, whereas the role of Cl− signaling pathway in modulating pulmonary inflammation associated with SARS-CoV-2 infection remains unclear. By using human respiratory epithelial cell lines, primary cultured human airway epithelial cells, and murine models of viral structural protein stimulation and SARS-CoV-2 direct challenge, we demonstrated that SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid (N) protein could interact with Smad3, which downregulated cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) expression via microRNA-145. The intracellular Cl− concentration ([Cl−]i) was raised, resulting in phosphorylation of serum glucocorticoid regulated kinase 1 (SGK1) and robust inflammatory responses. Inhibition or knockout of SGK1 abrogated the N protein-elicited airway inflammation. Moreover, N protein promoted a sustained elevation of [Cl−]i by depleting intracellular cAMP via upregulation of phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4). Rolipram, a selective PDE4 inhibitor, countered airway inflammation by reducing [Cl−]i. Our findings suggested that Cl− acted as the crucial pathological second messenger mediating the inflammatory responses after SARS-CoV-2 infection. Targeting the Cl− signaling pathway might be a novel therapeutic strategy for COVID-19.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is closely associated with smooth muscle dysfunction, but its underlying mechanisms remains incompletely understood. We here reported that the reduced expression of myosin phosphatase target subunit 1 (MYPT1), the main regulatory unit of myosin light chain phosphatase, was critical for the development of vasculogenic ED. Male MYPT1 knockout mice had reduced fertility and the penises displayed impaired erections as evidenced by reduced intracavernous pressure (ICP). The penile smooth muscles of the knockout mice displayed enhanced response to G-Protein Couple Receptor agonism and depolarization contractility and resistant relaxation. We further identified a natural compound lotusine that increased the MYPT1 expression by inhibiting SIAH1/2 E3 ligases-mediated protein degradation. This compound sufficiently restored the ICP and improved histological characters of the penile artery of Mypt1 haploinsufficiency mice. In diabetic ED mice (db/db), the decreased expression of MYPT1 was measured, and ICP was improved by lotusine treatment. We conclude that the reduction of MYPT1 is the major pathogenic factor of vasculogenic ED. The restoration of MYPT1 by lotusine improved the function of injured penile smooth muscles, and could be a novel strategy for ED therapy.

NG2 cells are highly proliferative glial cells that can self-renew or differentiate into oligodendrocytes, promoting remyelination. Following demyelination, the proliferative and differentiation potentials of NG2 cells increase rapidly, enhancing their differentiation into functional myelinating cells. Levels of the transcription factors Olig1 and Olig2 increase during the differentiation of NG2 cells and play important roles in the development and repair of oligodendrocytes. However, the ability to generate new oligodendrocytes is hampered by injury-related factors (e.g., myelin fragments, Wnt and Notch signaling components), leading to failed differentiation and maturation of NG2 cells into oligodendrocytes. Here, we review Notch signaling as a negative regulator of oligodendrocyte differentiation and discuss the extracellular ligands, intracellular pathways, and key transcription factors involved.

Luffing mechanism is a key component of the construction machinery. This paper proposes a two degree of freedom (2-DOF) luffing mechanism, which has one more pair of driving cylinders than the single DOF luffing mechanism, to improve the performance of the machinery. To establish the dynamic model of the 2-DOF luffing mechanism, firstly, we develop a hierarchical method to deduce the Jacobian matrix and Hessian matrix for obtaining the kinematics equations. Subsequently, we divide the luffing mechanism into six bodies considering actuators, and deduce the kinetic equations of each body by the Newton-Euler method. Based on the dynamic model, we simulate the luffing process. Finally, a prototype is built on a pile driver to validate the model. Simulations and experiments show that the dynamic model can reflect the dynamic properties of the proposed luffing mechanism. And the control strategy that the front cylinders retract first shows better mechanical behavior than the other two control strategies. This research provides a reference for the design and application of 2-DOF luffing mechanism on construction machinery. The modeling approach can also be applied to similar mechanism with serial closed kinematic chains, which allows to calculate the dynamic parameters easily and exactly.

Aksay Kazakhs are the easternmost branch of Kazakhs, residing in Jiuquan city, the forefront of the ancient Silk Road. However, the genetic diversity of Aksay Kazakhs and its relationships with other Kazakhs still lack attention. To clarify this issue, we analyzed the non-recombining portion of the Y-chromosome from 93 Aksay Kazakhs samples, using a high-resolution analysis of 106 biallelic markers and 17 STRs. The lowest haplogroup diversity (0.38) was observed in Aksay Kazakhs among all studied Kazakh populations. The social and cultural traditions of the Kazakhs shaped their current pattern of genetic variation. Aksay Kazakhs tended to migrate with clans and had limited paternal admixture with neighboring populations. Aksay Kazakhs had the highest frequency (80%) of haplogroup C2b1a3a1-F3796 (previous C3*-Star Cluster) among the investigated Eurasian steppe populations, which was now seen as the genetic marker of Kerei clan. Furthermore, NETWORK analysis indicated that Aksay Kazakhs originated from sub-clan Kerei-Abakh in Kazakhstan with DYS448 = 23. TMRCA estimates of three recent descent clusters detected in C2*-M217 (xM48) network, one of which incorporate nearly all of the C2b1a3a1-F3796 Aksay Kazakhs samples, gave the age range of 976-1405 YA for DC1, 1059-1314 YA for DC2, and 1139-1317 YA for DC3, respectively; this is coherent with the 7th to the 11th centuries Altaic-speaking pastoral nomadic population expansion.

The oxidation behavior of a newly designed Co–Ni-based alloy with varied addition of Ti (1.4 and 2.1 wt.%, hereafter referred as 1.4Ti and 2.1Ti alloys) was explored in air at 900 °C. It is found that an outer oxide layer composed of CoO, an intermediate oxide layer composed of intermittent TiO2 plus continuous Cr, W-rich oxides, and an inner oxidized region composed of Al2O3 were formed on the surface of 1.4Ti alloy, whereas the oxide structure of 2.1Ti alloy was composed of CoO as the outer oxide layer, continuous TiO2, Cr2O3, and WO3 as intermediate oxide layer, and Al2O3 as the inner oxidized region. With increasing Ti content, continuous TiO2 films formed in the intermediate oxide layer, which would lead to the formation of compact Cr2O3 and improved oxidation resistance after 100 h oxidation at 900 °C. These observations indicated that Ti addition can improve the high-temperature oxidation resistance of Co–Ni-based alloys.

The tribe Neottieae (Orchidaceae subfam. Epidendroideae) represents an excellent potential system for understanding plastome evolution in orchids. The tribe includes about 100 species with six recognized genera and includes both chlorophyllous and achlorophyllous taxa. Previously published Neottieae plastomes have revealed a complicated history of gene loss, particularly ndh gene loss, as well as plastome structural changes in achlorophyllous taxa. However, the plastome structure of most Neottieae taxa remains unknown. Here we investigate plastome structure in two newly sequenced Neottia species (N. suzukii and N. japonica) and characterize sequence divergence among Neottieae plastomes. We sequenced and analysed the complete plastomes of three individuals of two Neottia species (two individuals of N. japonica and one individual of N. suzukii) and compared them to seven additional published Neottia plastomes. The total genome lengths of the plastomes of N. japonica and N. suzukii ranged from 156,978 to 157,326 bp. The newly sequenced plastomes possessed the typical structure and gene content of angiosperm plastomes. Phylogenetic analyses based on complete plastomes and the nuclear internal transcribed spacer (ITS) showed that N. japonica and N. suzukii form a clade, but the two accessions of N. japonica were in phylogenetically incongruent positions in ITS vs plastome trees. Among all three newly sequenced Neottia plastomes, five regions (ndhH-ndhA spacer, ndhA intron, ycf3 intron, atpF intron, and trnL-ndhB spacer) showed high nucleotide divergence values (> 0.15), and are therefore considered useful molecular markers for future phylogenetic and phylogeographic studies of Neottia.

With the maturity of big data technology, analyzing residents’ travel habits and tracks has become an important research direction in the field of intelligent transportation study. In this paper, based on the subway and bus ride data, a subway-bus double-layer network model was established using complex network theory, taking the optimal traffic efficiency as the goal, the structure of intelligent bus network optimization method is proposed, and an empirical study is conducted on the Beijing bus network. In the empirical study, by adding or deleting bus station in the network, obtain an efficient network structure, the goal of optimal operation efficiency of the bus network was realized, and the theoretical and practical research on solving the problem of transportation line network planning with big data of traffic travel was enriched.

C3H-type zinc finger genes play diverse roles in plant growth, development, and stress responses. In our present study, a C3H-type gene namely BoC3H4 was isolated from broccoli. BoC3H4 was 1629 bp in length encoding 542 amino acid residues. The deduced protein sequence contained two ankyrin repeats and two CCCH zinc finger motifs, and those motifs shared high identities with homologous sequences from other Cruciferae plants. The expression levels of BoC3H4 elevated when subjected to both salt stress and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum infection. Broccoli plants with constitutive expression of BoC3H4 demonstrated increased tolerance toward salinity stress, accompanied by a prominent accumulation of proline, and a remarkable decrease of chlorophyll loss, MDA, REC, as well as H2O2 accumulation compared to WT plants. Moreover, over-expression of BoC3H4 in broccoli lines decreased resistance to S. sclerotiorum, and it could not induce the expression of BoPDF1.2 gene, the marker gene for JA/ET signaling pathway. Our study proposes that BoC3H4 acts as a positive regulator of plant tolerance to salinity stress and a negative regulator of resistance to necrotrophic pathogen S. sclerotiorum.
