The proliferation of innovative internet-enabled tools has transformed the nation into a globalized world where individuals can participate on various platforms, collaborate in activities, communicate on issues, and exchange information safely and consistently. Coordination and cooperation are essential in software development. It gathers all software developers in one space, encouraging them to discuss goals and work rationally to accomplish the project goal. In recent years, continuous software development and deployment have become increasingly common in software engineering. Continuous software engineering (CSE) is a method that involves a variety of strategies to increase the regularity of novel and modified software versions. CSE enables a continuous learning and improvement process through rapid software update iteration by combining continuous integration and delivery. Continuous integration is a method that has arisen in order to remove gaps between development and deployment. Software engineers must handle uncertainty and alter stakeholders' requirements, which is possible through continuous software developmental strategies that manage the overall software cycle and produce high-quality software applications. The proposed study is a systematic review related to continuous software development and deployment and focuses on achieving four aims: (1) To explore the impacts of continuous development on software, (2) to pinpoint various tools used to carry out this process, (3) to highlight the challenges faced in adopting continuous approaches for development and (4) to analyze the phases of continuous software engineering. In the era of automated and digitalized information, advanced computer applications deal with a major part of the data that comprises audio-related information. Advancements in technology have ushered in a new era where cutting-edge devices can deliver comprehensive insights into audio content, leveraging sophisticated algorithms such such as Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs) and Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) to extract and provide pertinent information. Our study helps in not only efficient audio file management and audio file retrievals but also plays a vital role in security, the robotics industry, and investigations. Beyond its industrial applications, our model exhibits remarkable versatility in the corporate sector, particularly in tasks like siren sound detection and more. Embracing this capability holds the promise of catalyzing the development of advanced automated systems, paving the way for increased efficiency and safety across various corporate domains. The primary aim of our experiment is to focus on creating highly efficient audio classification models that can be seamlessly automated and deployed within the industrial sector, addressing critical needs for enhanced productivity and performance. Despite the dynamic nature of environmental sounds and the presence of noises, our presented audio classification model comes out to be efficient and accurate. The novelty of our research work reclines to compare two different audio datasets having similar characteristics and revolves around classifying the audio signals into several categories using various machine learning techniques and extracting MFCCs and STFTs features from the audio signals. We have also tested the results after and before the noise removal for analyzing the effect of the noise on the results including the precision, recall, specificity, and F1-score. Studying single cells opens opportunities for understanding many biological processes and, as a consequence, plays an important role in the development of biomedicine. Scanning ion conductance microscopy (SICM) and nanopipette systems for the analysis of single cells represent a powerful tool for investigating the morphological, mechanical, and biochemical features of living cells with nanometer spatial resolution under near-natural conditions. Over the last decades, SICM has shown great success in studying and manipulating single cells, and the noncontact nature of the system, combined with the unique features of nanopipettes used as probes, has opened new possibilities for the application of such systems in biomedical applications. Learning disabilities, which primarily interfere with basic learning skills such as reading, writing, and math, are known to affect around 10% of children in the world. The poor motor skills and motor coordination as part of the neurodevelopmental disorder can become a causative factor for the difficulty in learning to write (dysgraphia), hindering the academic track of an individual. The signs and symptoms of dysgraphia include but are not limited to irregular handwriting, improper handling of writing medium, slow or labored writing, unusual hand position, etc. The widely accepted assessment criterion for all types of learning disabilities including dysgraphia has traditionally relied on examinations conducted by medical expert. However, in recent years, artificial intelligence has been employed to develop diagnostic systems for learning disabilities, utilizing diverse modalities of data, including handwriting analysis. This work presents a review of the existing automated dysgraphia diagnosis systems for children in the literature. The main focus of the work is to review artificial intelligence-based systems for dysgraphia diagnosis in children. This work discusses the data collection method, important handwriting features, and machine learning algorithms employed in the literature for the diagnosis of dysgraphia. Apart from that, this article discusses some of the non-artificial intelligence-based automated systems. Purpose: Broth microdilution (BMD) stays as the reference testing method for determination of antimicrobial susceptibility testing (AST) to colistin and is considered essential for patient management and for monitoring of colistin resistance. This multicenter study aimed to evaluate the performance of automated systems for colistin AST among Enterobacterales as an alternative for BMD since the majority of laboratories use automated systems as first-line method. Methods: Twenty colistin resistant (COL-R) including 10 MCR producers and 10 colistin-susceptible (COL-S) Enterobacterales isolates were blindly tested for colistin susceptibility with the routine automated AST systems used by 8 laboratories (3 with BD Phoenix, 3 with Vitek2 and 2 with MicroScan). Additionally, 3 reference strains (E. coli ATCC 25922, E. coli NCTC 13846, and one COL-R mcr-negative K. pneumoniae M/14750) were tested in triplicate by each laboratory. Results and conclusion: Results were compared with BMD performed at the reference laboratory. BD Phoenix and MicroScan automated AST systems provide accurate and reproducible categorical results for the testing of colistin in Enterobacterales. However, Vitek2 system showed poor performance for the detection of COL-R isolates especially those with MICs close to the susceptibility breakpoint (categorical agreement of 88% and precision categorical agreement of 81%). Taking a populous country like India in picture and limited manpower in inevitable medical institutions, healthcare industries need alternate and foolproof techniques to ensure that quality and round the clock attention in provided to deserving people. Since automation and intelligent systems are developed in every domain known to mankind, hospitals and medical records, diagnosis, online pharmacies, surgeries operated by robots are coming into practice. This proposal is one of the promising solutions to limited manpower and decision support system to the medical practitioners. With the ideal knowledge of background information, literature and proposed algorithm, the proposal delivers architecture for supporting automated decisions to healthcare institutions. Electronic records are continuously collected and organized to provide a detailed history of patients, their diseases and diagnosis plans. The institution maintains a sufficient Datawarehouse for holding these diverse medical records and provides access to registered and trusted practitioners. The Datawarehouse regularly update the records and maintained by independent organization. From the obtained information, virtual doctoring engine (VDE) attempts to analyze the observable characteristics from the datasets using Known-Yet-Predict algorithm to propose an optimal diagnosis plan. This treatment plan will later be officiated by a doctor for treating the patients. The performance of VDE system is tested against patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases. The characteristics taken into consideration vary accordingly among individual patients and thus demands heterogeneous features to be extracted from patients' electronic medical records. This approach has been investigated against various feature extraction algorithms and found to be 18.2% more accurate in predicting the optimal treatment plan. The prospects for methods based on the Harrington desirability function in comparing the characteristics of automation systems before and after modernization are assessed. Such functions are reviewed and analyzed and their values are tabulated so as to permit their optimal use in multicriterial selection problems. The analysis concludes with an illustration of how the approach performs in practice. Given the current interest in expert methods, the proposed approach may be widely adopted both in selecting approaches to updating the automation of industrial processes and in assessing the results of such modernization. The IIF using the HEp-2 cell substrate should be still considered the 'gold standard' techniques for determination of antinuclear antibody (ANA). Standardization and automation can be considered to be still in progress. Aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of the commercially automated indirect immunofluorescent antinuclear HEp-2 antibody assay. The study was designed to compare two commercially available HEp-2 ANA by indirect immunofluorescent antibody assays using a sensitivity panel (120 clinically determined patients) and a specificity panel consisting of 78 clinically confirmed negative patients. We compared the NOVA View system [INOVA Diagnostics San Diego, USA] with the new HELIOS Processor from AESKU Systems/AESKU.Diagnostics (Wendelsheim, Germany) to assess their capability for screening, pattern recognition and titration of the samples. These automated methods were directly compared to manual reading of the same processed slides on respective microscopes and also compared with the known clinical information. The results of the two automated methods were in very good agreement with recognizing negative and positive samples. The HELIOS system detected 188 samples correctly as negative or positive versus 187 detected by the NOVA View system. The diagnostic sensitivity of the systems was 95.8 versus 96.7 % for HELIOS and NOVA View, respectively. The systems exhibited a diagnostic specificity of 93.5 % for the HELIOS system and 91.0 % for the NOVA View. Both systems are suitable for fast and reliable detection of positivity/negativity due to their high sensitivity and will lead to a further increase of standardization in autoimmunity. The automation of manufacturing systems is one of the most important aspects that need to be taken care of during a design process. The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools allow for the designing of automated systems even before acquiring all the hardware and/or software. This paper shows the use of this PLM kind of tools for mixing virtual and real components on an automated manufacturing system through the implementation of four different case scenarios: using the real process/real controller to the virtual process/virtual controller, real process/real controller to real process/virtual controller and finally, virtual process/real controller to virtual process/virtual controller. These scenarios will be described along with their purposes and the tools used to achieve them. Dassault Systemes DELMIA Automation is used as a PLM tool and is combined with the hardware and software required to achieve each case scenario. The case study used is the Flexible Manufacturing System in the Mechatronics laboratory at the Tecnológico de Monterrey; it's also presented an implementation of these scenarios in a Manufacturing Systems Automation laboratory class. The objective of this paper is to present firstly the issues involved in the upgrading process of industrial systems and secondly the difficulty of the transition into an automated system. Two interesting methods of analysis have been applied on an example of a grain silo process: SADT (Structured Analysis and Design Technique) and OOPP (Objective Oriented Project Planning). These methods can be applied on a systemic analysis of industrial processes. The paper briefly discusses the design of automated systems and shows some advantages of the application of systemic analysis on the upgrading of industrial systems. To troubleshoot the equipment installed in geographically distant locations, equipment manufacturers and system integrators are increasingly resorting to remote diagnosis, thereby achieving savings in cost and time for both customers and manufacturers. Remote diagnosis involves the use of communication technologies to perform fault diagnosis of a system located at a site distant to a troubleshooter. Several frameworks for remote diagnosis have been proposed, incorporating advancements such as automated fault diagnosis, collaborative diagnosis, and mobile communication techniques. Furthermore, standards for different levels of remote diagnosis exist. However, there has been relatively little research on the application of these levels of remote diagnosis architectures to diagnose failures in a discrete automated system. This paper is the first of two parts of a design for remote diagnosis for a programmable logic controller (PLC)-based discrete automated system. It investigates experimental variables, infrastructure, and hardware and software used for diagnosis in order to empirically validate the use of hierarchical levels of remote diagnosis architectures by experts to remotely diagnose failures in a PLC-based automated assembly line. Common failures in automated assembly systems were identified and duplicated. The suitability of each level of architecture for diagnosing different types of failures was evaluated based on ratings from experts in the field of automation. The experts opined that the architecture with the most advanced capabilities was most suitable for diagnosing failures related to measured or monitored system variables. The intervals between the times of detection of adjacent fishing attacks during the period from December 2008 through October 2010 are studied. The approximation of an unnormalized sample distribution for this time interval is fit to a linear-exponential theoretical curve. The assumption of a nonstationary flow of random events formed by the detection times of the fishing attacks is confirmed; this is studied in order to reveal coordinated hacker attacks. A microcomputer-controlled irradiation and measurement system and a microprocessor-controlled sample changer have been installed at the SLOWPOKE-2 Facility at the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC). These systems can provide the gamut of instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA) techniques for the analyst. Custom software has been created for system control, data acquisition, and off-line spectral analysis using programs that incorporate Gaussian peak-fitting methods of analysis. The design and use of the equipment is discussed, and the performance is illustrated with results obtained from the analysis of marine sediment and biological reference materials.
