Various SARS-CoV-2-related coronaviruses have been increasingly identified in pangolins, showing a potential threat to humans. Here we report the infectivity and pathogenicity of the SARS-CoV-2-related virus, PCoV-GX/P2V, which was isolated from a Malayan pangolin (Manis javanica). PCoV-GX/P2V could grow in human hepatoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma cells, and human primary nasal epithelial cells. It replicated more efficiently in cells expressing human angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (hACE2) as SARS-CoV-2 did. After intranasal inoculation to the hACE2-transgenic mice, PCoV-GX/P2V not only replicated in nasal turbinate and lungs, but also caused interstitial pneumonia, characterized by infiltration of mixed inflammatory cells and multifocal alveolar hemorrhage. Existing population immunity established by SARS-CoV-2 infection and vaccination may not protect people from PCoV-GX/P2V infection. These findings further verify the hACE2 utility of PCoV-GX/P2V by in vivo experiments using authentic viruses and highlight the importance for intensive surveillance to prevent possible cross-species transmission. Introduction and hypothesis: The efficacy of physiotherapy for postpartum lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) has attracted considerable research interest. In the current study we evaluated the efficacy and safety of pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) combined with biofeedback (BF), electrical stimulation (ES) therapy, or both for postpartum LUTS. Methods: PUBMED, EMBASE, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese Science and Technique Journals Database, and Wanfang databases were searched from inception to December 2020. Eligible randomized controlled trials on postpartum LUTS comparing PFMT plus BF, ES, or both with PFMT alone were included. The Cochrane handbook was used to evaluate the quality of the studies. Results: Seventeen studies were included. The results of the meta-analysis showed that PFMT plus ES with or without BF was more effective than PFMT alone. Patients receiving PFMT plus ES and BF achieved greater improvement than controls receiving PFMT alone in incontinence quality of life scores (mean difference: 15.33, 95% confidence interval [CI]: 11.70–18.97, P < 0.00001), pelvic floor muscle strength (risk ratio: 2.29, 95% CI: 1.53–3.43, P < 0.0001), and urodynamic parameters (maximum urethral closure pressure, abdominal leak point pressure, and maximum urinary flow rate), and 1-h urine leakage (standardized mean difference: −0.70, 95% CI: −1.23 to −0.17, P = 0.010) also decreased. In this work, the BMS-12 pre-sintered material was used as the basic material, and the optimal secondary additive addition amount was found by the wet pressing process. Then, the anisotropic ferrite material was prepared by dry-pressing method, and the effects of camphor adhesives, calcium stearate lubricant and powder particle size on the magnetic properties were studied. The experimental results show that the appropriate addition amount of camphor adhesive and calcium stearate lubricant is 0.6 wt% and 0.8 wt%, respectively. High remanence and coercivity can be obtained for particle size of 0.85–1.00 μm. Superior dry-pressed magnet ferrite was prepared with typical properties of magnetic induction intensity of Br = 421 mT, induction coercivity of Hcb = 296 kA·m−1, intrinsic coercivity of Hcj = 369 kA·m−1 and maximum energy product of (BH)max = 33.3 kJ·m−3, which have reached the level of TDK corporation product of FB5D. This shows that the dry-pressed magnet of La–Ca–Sr–Co system has higher remanence and intrinsic coercivity than the traditional wet-pressed Sr-ferrite. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The steered covariance matrix (STCM) and its inverse matrix should be calculated in each beam for steered minimum variance (STMV). The inverse matrix needs complex computation and restricts its application in engineering. Combining the integration character of one-phase regressive filter with the iterative formula of inverse matrix, an STMV iterative algorithm is proposed. The computational cost of the iterative algorithm is reduced approximately to be 2/ M times of the original one when there are M sensors, and is more advantaged for the realization of the algorithm in real time. Simulation results show that the STMV iterative algorithm can preserve the characters of STMV on high azimuth resolution and weak target detection while the computational cost reduced sharply. The analysis on sea trial data proves that the proposed algorithm can estimate each target's azimuth even when the source powers differ in large scales or their bearings are very approximate. The level of interleukin-2 (IL-2) produced by peripheral blood mononuclear cells in vitro, T cell subsets and the function of T suppressor cells (Ts) in patients with schistosomiasis japonica were investigated. It was found that the level of IL-2 induced by schistosomal antigens was significantly high and positively related to the percentage of CD4 cells. In the groups of chronic and advanced schistosomiasis japonica, the level of IL-2 induced by schistosomal antigens was markedly lower than that in the group of acute schistosomiasis japonica, but significantly higher than that in the group of normal controls. The IL-2 level was negatively related to the percentage of CD8 T cells and the ratio of CD4/CD8. The level of IL-2 induced by PHA was greatly reduced in the group of advanced schistosomiasis japonica. In liver biopsies from 21 patients with schistosomiasis japonica complicated by hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), 69 patients with advanced schistosomiasis japonica, and 25 patients with HCC, HBsAg and HBcAg were investigated with peroxidase-antiperoxidase technique. The positive rate of HBAg (i.e. HBsAg and/or HBcAg) in the liver of patients with schistosomiasis japonica complicated by HCC was significantly higher than in the group of advanced schistosomiasis japonica, but similar to that in cases of HCC. The location of carcinoma cells in the liver was not related to the distribution of schistosomial ova in patients with schistosomiasis japonica complicated by HCC. The results indicated that the complication with hepatitis B virus infection may be one of the major factors involved in the development of HCC in patients with schistosomiasis japonica. The function of spontaneous T suppressor cell (STs) of peripheral blood was examined in 56 patients with schistosomiasis japonica at various stages. The subsets of T cell were simultaneously phenotyped in 46 cases. The percentages of CD (pan T cell), CD (helper/inducer T cell) and CD (suppressor/cytotoxic T cell) in patients with acute schistosomiasis japonica were significantly higher than those in the normal controls. In patients with chronic and advanced schistosomiasis japonica, the percentage of CD T cell and the function of STs were greatly increased, but the percentage of CD T cell and the ratio of CD /CD were obviously reduced. All of these markers changed more significantly in patients with advanced schistosomiasis japonica. The percentage of CD T cell in patients with acute schistosomiasis japonica was negatively correlated with the function of STs. In patients with chronic and advanced schistosomiasis japonica the percentage of CD T cell was correlated positively and the ratio of CD /CD negatively with the function of STs. The results indicated that the cellular immunity was significantly increased in cases of acute schistosomiasis japonica and decreased in those with chronic or advanced schistosomiasis japonica. The increased CD T cell may be principally cytotoxic T cells in patients with acute schistosomiasis japonica, but suppressor T cells in patients with chronic and advanced schistosomiasis japonica.
