In this paper, undoped BaBi2−x−yNb2ErxYbyO9 (BBN), Er3+ doped BBN, and a series of Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped BBN ferroelectric ceramic is synthesized by the solid-state method to study the structural, dielectric, ferroelectric, and energy storage behavior of the prepared ceramic. XRD spectra revealed orthorhombic geometry and Fmmm phase group of each prepared ceramic. SEM micrograph shows dense microstructures similar to square-shaped structures. Two FTIR bands at 619 and 822 cm−1 are observed, displaying the characteristic peaks of the Aurivillius phase. Four Raman bands are detected for undoped BBN, while twelve are visible in Er3+/Yb3+ doped BBN compositions. Further, this work utilizes a comparable method to correlate Nb–O stretching frequencies with their corresponding bond lengths using Herschbach's exponential function. Temperature-dependent dielectric studies show considerable dispersion below and above maximum temperature (Tm), and the dielectric constant (εʹ) decreases with an increase in frequency. The dielectric loss (ɛʺ) curves are quite diffused, and shifts in the maxima with frequency have been observed, thus validating the relaxor behavior of all the prepared BBN compositions. The slimmer PE curves were obtained under moderate electric fields ranging from 75 to 100 kV/cm. The energy storage parameters (W, Wrec, η) are improved with increasing applied electric field. The energy storage efficiency (η) obtained for undoped, Er3+ doped, and Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped BBN ceramics are 78.25%, 83.39%, and 90.87%, respectively. The energy storage parameters revealed good temperature stability from 303 to 415 K, indicating that the synthesized material might aid in developing modern electronic equipment for energy storage applications. The lead-free ceramics K0.5Na0.5NbO3: x wt% Er3+ (x = 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4) were produced via solid-state method. The ceramic was sintered at 1100 °C to produce a pure-phase perovskite with an orthorhombic structure. No extra phases in the XRD spectra demonstrate that all the Er3+ ions have dispersed into the host lattice. At room temperature, PL emission spectra were examined under the wavelengths 488 and 980 nm. In both emission spectra, green emission bands (528 and 549 nm) and slightly faint red emission bands (662 nm) were found. Observing the effect of pump power revealed that two photons are involved in the emission process. The time decay profile indicates an average lifetime of Er3+ ions is 25.05 μs. The ferroelectric hysteresis loop at room temperature showed decent shapes with good remnant. Biofloc technology (BFT) is an aquaculture technology that uses microbial communities to produce a balanced aquatic environment for fish and crustaceans. This study evaluated the global research trends and measured the performance of researchers, organizations or research centers, countries, and funding agencies participating in BFT research in the last decade. Scientific knowledge mapping was also performed to understand the social and conceptual structure of the research publications. The study was conducted based on journal article publications indexed in the Scopus database between 2013 and 2022. The analysis showed that BFT research was increasing steadily, with a total of 911 documents published in the past 10 years. Brazil, China, and India were the three most productive countries in the field. The most productive journals were Aquaculture, Aquaculture Research, and Aquaculture International. Regarding research topics, the largest share of documents was related to bioflocs and their technologies, followed by Litopenaeus vannamei, water quality, growth performance, shrimp, Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, etc. Co-authorship network analysis revealed that the largest cluster comprised researchers from Brazil, China, and India. Moreover, the study of societal attention revealed that the BFT research needs more public attention as the research was discussed and mentioned only a few social media platforms. However, the BFT research had significant readers on Mendeley. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of BFT research and the research performance of scientific actors. A scientometric analysis of funded scientometric and bibliometric research from 2011 to 2021 is presented in this paper. Using Web of Science, we analyzed 2810 domain-relevant papers (DRP) and 1040 methodologically relevant papers (MRP). A number of standard scientometric parameters have been examined in the study, including the relative growth rate (RGR), the doubling time (DT), the activity index (AI), the average citations per paper (ACCP), and the h-index. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the parameters associated with the most productive funding agencies, international country collaboration patterns, top journals, most productive institutions, trends in the field, as well as emerging themes. In the present work, the removal of Cr (VI), Cd (II) and Pb (II) at 50 mg/L of each metal ion concentration was investigated by Microbacterium paraoxydans strain VSVM IIT(BHU). The heavy metal binding on the bacterial cell surface was confirmed through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and energy dispersive X-ray. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis also confirmed the reduction of Cr (VI) to Cr (III). Heavy metal removal dynamics was investigated by evaluating dimensionless, and the value of Nk (9.49 × 10–3, 9.92 × 10–3 and 1.23 × 10–2 for Cr (VI), Cd (II) and Pb (II) ions) indicated that the removal of heavy metals by bacterial isolate was mixed diffusion and transfer controlled. It was found that both the experimental and predicted values for isolated bacterial strain coincided with each other with a good R2 value in the L-M Algorithm range of 0.94–0.98 for the ternary metal ion system. The bacterial isolate presented a maximum heavy metal ion removal efficiency of 91.62% Cr (VI), 89.29% Pb (II), and 83.29% Cd (II) at 50 mg/L. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aquaponics is an integrated fish and crop production system that includes aquaculture and hydroponics. The purpose of this study was to assess aquaponic research and social media attention in light of the exponential growth of aquaponics systems. This article condenses numerous studies into a single paper, which provides insights into the worldwide growth and advancement of the study field and establishes a future research agenda. A thorough scientometric study of the worldwide scientific output on aquaponics from 2004 to 2021 was conducted using the Scopus database. Altmetric data for individual articles were collected from Altmetric.com. The analysis tools, MS Excel, Tableau, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer, were used in this study. The results show that aquaponics research has been growing significantly over the years. In recent years, aquaponics research primarily focused on the optimization of system performance (component ratio, hydraulic loading rate, hydroponic component, etc.), wastewater treatment, nutrient management, system production, technology adoption, and varieties of plants and fishes. The study identified the most prolific authors, journals, and affiliations in the field of aquaponics. The USA, Europe, and some Asian countries, especially China and India, are the most innovative regions with significant research in this area. Altmetric analysis found that aquaponics research has not received impressive online social attention and needs further social media promotion. Plasmonic metal nanoparticles due to their characteristic localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) in the optical region of the electromagnetic wave are of much interest right from the medieval ages. Herein, we present a robust single-step synthetic protocol for the synthesis of Au and Cu alloy nanoparticles, which are typically used in various catalytic and sensing applications. For alloy formation, co-reduction of Au and Cu salts was used in four different Au/Cu mass ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4) yielding "marigold" like nanostructures. The formation of the desired alloy composition was confirmed from their optical spectra giving an LSPR peak among the specific peak nature of Au and Cu and also, from the XRD pattern, displaying diffraction peaks corresponding to Au and Cu only, but not the copper oxides. Additionally, the effect of plasmonic damping due to inter-band transition and polydispersity in the formed alloys was also discussed. Moreover, their optical spectra confirm a broadband bathochromic shifted LSPR peak alongside a lowering intensity with the surge in Cu concentration. For the respective compositions of the alloy nanoparticles, optical spectra (compared with experimental data) and the electric field enhancement data were also simulated using the MATLAB-based boundary element method to investigate their application in antennas for SERS, SEIRA, etc. Furthermore, these AuCu nanoalloys were utilized in crystal violet dye degradation, which provides an enhanced catalytic character in comparison with that of pure Au nanoparticles. Subsequently, the turnover frequency of the degradation process provides the superlative AuCu composition. A similar enhanced nature was likewise obtained for simulated refractive index sensitivity for n = 1−1.5, establishing not only the inherent cost-effectiveness and single-step procedure of our versatile synthetic protocol, but also the formation of robust alloy with different combinations of nanoparticles. The human gut microbiome has a significant role in host physiology; however its role in gluten catabolism is debatable. Present study explores the role of human gut microbes in gluten catabolism and a native human gut microbe Cellulomonas sp. HM71 was identified. SSU rDNA analysis has described human gut microbiome structure and also confirmed the permanent residentship of Cellulomonas sp. HM71. Catabolic potential of Cellulomonas sp. HM71 to cleave antigenic gluten peptides indicates presence of candidate gene encoding biocatalytic machinery. Genome analysis has identified the presence of gene encoding S9A serine protease family—prolyl endopeptidase, with Ser591, Asp664 and His685 signature residues. Cellulomonas sp. HM71 prolyl endopeptidase activity was found optimal at pH 7.0 and 37 °C with a KM of 35.53 μmol and specifically cleaves at proline residue. Current study describes the gluten catabolism potential of Cellulomonas sp. Wireless sensor network contains several small sensor nodes that are designed to work autonomously. Coverage preservation is an underlying requirement to efficiently deliver certain services in WSNs. During network operation, some sensor nodes die because of several reasons like energy exhaustion, link failure, node failure etc. We refer it as coverage hole problem of WSNs. In this paper, a new decentralized, node based, localized algorithm called Coverage Hole Detection and Restoration is proposed for detection as well as restoration of coverage holes. The human gut contains a plethora of microbes, providing a platform for metabolic interaction between the host and microbiota. Metabolites produced by the gut microbiota act as a link between gut microbiota and its host. These metabolites act as messengers having the capacity to alter the gut microbiota. Recent advances in the characterization of the gut microbiota and its symbiotic relationship with the host have provided a platform to decode metabolic interactions. The human gut microbiota, a crucial component for dietary metabolism, is shaped by the genetic, epigenetic and dietary factors. The metabolic potential of gut microbiota explains its significance in host health and diseases. The knowledge of interactions between microbiota and host metabolism, as well as modification of microbial ecology, is really beneficial to have effective therapeutic treatments for many diet-related diseases in near future. This review cumulates the information to map the role of human gut microbiota in dietary component metabolism, the role of gut microbes derived metabolites in human health and host–microbe metabolic interactions in health and diseases.
