The article presents a study aimed to evaluate the relationship between alexithymia and health locus of control. The study is undertaken on 68 patients of Richmond Mental Health Outpatient but diagnostic assessments were not undertaken for the study but were administered with the Multidimensional Health Locus of Control (MHLC) and the Toronto Alexithymia Scale-20 (TAS-20). The results of the study show an increasing level of alexithymia.
