Since the COVID-19 situation keeps going on started from 2019. Many solutions are to against the spreading of coronavirus disease. The nurses have died, and other medical workers are in critical condition from operating in the hospital. It is a deadly virus that kills many humans; Thailand's solutions have urged the public to be confident about the Government's handling of the 2019-novel Coronavirus. At the same time, everyone has to embrace the new normal lifestyle and social distancing while patiently waiting for scientists and doctors to discover vaccines and treatments to defeat COVID-19. This work proposes an innovation of wireless body temperature that instead of the used manual by medical workers in the hospital of "the contactless body temperature monitoring (CBTM) of the in-patient department (IPD)." The proposed CBTM implementation applied artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The specified infrared body temperature on the MLX90614 DCI used for the medical field was selected to embed the IoT-CBTM for IPD using the IoT platform. The MLX90614 is an accurate sensor that matches to use for medical promotion. The detected information data from IPD will be sent to the host computer and stored in the cloud internet service at a microwave band frequency of 2.5/5.0 GHz. This paper presents the accuracy test of the IoT-CBTM prototype calibrated with the manual body temperature verifying device under Thai Industrial Institute to close with the accuracy standard requirement. The experiments were repeated many times until raise up over 70% to get more reliability accuracy. The findings indicated that the proposed prototype achieved a reliability calibration of 74.7%. The actual use of IoT-CBTM is convenient to the nurse, doctor, and medical workers to collect body temperature data into the host computer, and they can monitor this information at all times in the working room, which is far away from the COVID-19 patients. Therefore, this novel innovation was achieved because it took to try out at a local health-promoting hospital in Songkhla Province, Thailand, which the IoT-CBTM system was satisfied by the medical staff because it can safe their time, and genuinely reaching the new norm on medical distancing real-time monitoring. The Internet of Things (IoT) has become an addition of humans. IoT assists in the security work to increase the quality of people life. This paper presents an intruder alert system using IoT-sensing through cloud service network. The proposed intruder alert system is divided into 4 sections, which are (1) intruder monitoring section, (2) communication network, (3) data processing unit and (4) user interface. Each composition works according to its function effectively. The intruder monitoring device was contained Ultrasonic and Passive Infrared (PIR) Sensors to analyze its performance. NETPIE work as graphic user interface (GUI) on cloud server was serviced to act as an intermediary to distribute information to other devices through internet network. Both sensors were evaluated the detection sensing test according to various distances. The obtained results based on individual test were analyzed in terms of percentage form, which showed that the Ultrasonic and PIR sensors show its different responses. The Ultrasonic stables in the distance test of 5–55 cm and after 55 cm distance it reacts unstable for detection. While, the PIR sensor swings in the distance of 5–30 cm and more stable after distance of 35 to 100 cm. Accordance the graph visually, it was found that the both sensors work in the opposite way. Therefore, the results of the experiment were again analyzed by statistical program. The finding presented that the Ultrasonic and PIR sensors accurately detected intruder at 99.94% and 99.56% respectively, with at statistically significant level of 95%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The data monitoring system using radio frequency identification (RFID) and automatic identification and data capture (AIDC) technologies have become pervasive applications. They have the potential in providing indoor monitoring and location services. The aim of this study is to analyze the radio wave propagation based on the received signal strength indication (RSSI) value versus the various distances compared between the proposed embedded RFID tag with and without the household energy meter for LOS indoor environment. In the proposed RFID communication system, Zigbee (IEEE 802.15.4) protocol is applied to monitor and read the data from the remote energy meters in the residences. Embedding a monitoring RFID tag module into the energy meter with a power management (without battery cell) is able to communicate with a reader at a RF signal of 2.45 GHz. The location of RSSI testing is carried out at a narrow area inside a building and compared with a wide area at a library's hall for testing distances up to 90 m with 10 m increment in each test. The transmitted power is working at the maximum range of 18 dBm to link a wireless communication between the reader and embedded part of end tag. The results indicated that the proposed wireless monitoring RFID tag module with an embedded energy meter proved that a RSS values (received power) are higher in average by 2.503% in wide area, and 3.050% in narrow area than the one without the embedment (standalone active RFID) with no difference of reliability at statistical significant of 95%. This means that the embedment of the proposed RFID system into an energy meter can extend the communication range compared to the standalone RFID since the power management circuitry is able to improve the stability of power supply for RFID transmission directly from the energy meter.
