Immunoglobulin A (IgA) dermatoses represent a distinct but diverse category of immunologic skin diseases, including linear IgA bullous dermatosis, dermatitis herpetiformis, IgA subcorneal pemphigus, IgA intraepidermal pemphigus and IgA vasculitis (Henoch-Schonlein purpura).
