Ammonia concentration is the major parameter to evaluate livestock breeding farms atmosphere quality and it also is regarded as the key indicator to describe the production of livestock breeding farms. Based on the oxidation characteristics of ammonia, this paper presented a new intelligent detecting instrument, the intelligent ammonia sensor, for the measurement of ammonia concentration, which used the microcontroller STM8L152 as the key control module. However, the TEDS module, which is useful to self-identification, self-diagnosis and self-calibration of ammonia sensor, is in the flash of the STM8L152 and only if the STM8L152 conveys the warning signal to the alarm module, will the alarm module starts the worker loop.

Edge geometric measurement analysis is an important method of image understanding and portraying the target feature. In this paper, we compress 17 interrelated shape descriptors which are based on edge geometric measure into 6 independent components, and discuss their meanings by using principal component analysis. The analyses in this article provide guidance for the shape feature optimization and accurate identification for greenhouse strawberry leaves images successfully.

Chlorophyll-a was regarded as the important indicator to describe the marine primary production because the chlorophyll a content of phytoplankton in the ocean is related to its photosynthesis production. The concentration of chlorophyll a is also the major parameter to evaluate marine water quality, organic pollution and detect the fishing ground, and the temporal and spatial variation of chlorophyll a contains the basic information of sea areas. Based on the spectral characteristics of chlorophyll fluorescence, this document recommends a new dual optical detecting instrument for the measurement of chlorophyll-a concentration, the microcontroller MSP430F149 as the key control module, by controlling the ultra-high brightness LED which wavelength is 450nm to excite chlorophyll a to produce the fluorescent signal about 680nm , at the same time this LED is used as reference light, the dual-optical structure exclude the light fluctuations due to the impact of test results. At last, we get the relationship between relative fluorescence intensity and chlorophyll-a concentration with the spectrophotometer, we find the system has the good linear consistency when measures the low concentrations of chlorophyll-a.

The ecological construction for demonstration area is an idealized model for the establishment of rural sustainable development in the county-scale. This paper presents a GIS-based evaluation system of ecological construction for demonstration area. It includes an index system with the 4 secondary indices and 24 factor indices, and a method of ecological construction for demonstration area utilizing multi-attribute decision models of AHPCI method for comprehensive performance assessment. Taking Xinyang city of Henan province in China as a case study, the comprehensive assessment result were found to be coincident with practical situation, so it proves that the GIS-based evaluation system was fit for county-level ecological construction assessment for demonstration area as a beneficial reference framework elsewhere.

This paper developed a methodology based on the catastrophe theory for estimating the rural informatization level in central China, and took evaluation of the rural informatization level among the six provinces of central China as an example to test the effectiveness of the method. Taking data from reference and constructing the hierarchy based on catastrophe progression method, it was calculated the scores of rural informatization level among the six provinces of central China using normalizing formula. The results are found to be coincident with practical situation, so it proves the catastrophe progression method works well.

ZigBee technology is designed to be used on applications that require low data rate, low-cost, low power consumption. However, the ZigBee networks are vulnerable to various attacks. In this paper, we have proposed an Identity-based authentication protocol for a ZigBee network structured to have multiple clusters consisting of one coordinator and many devices. Further more, we have designed a secure protocol used for exchanging public parameters between two clusters. Our proposal could realize secure, fast, low-cost and scalable authentication between any two nodes in a clustered ZigBee network.

E-learning, as an innovative and alternative way of distance learning, provides a strong challenge to the traditional learning with its unique advantage. The paper, for the diffusion of e-learning adoption in China, investigates people's perceptions and attitudes toward adopting e-learning, and explores the factors affecting the e-learning adoption behavior from innovation adoption perspective. Based on the model of Rogers' innovation adoption theory, the factors in each of "perceived innovative attributes" that affect the individual adoption behavior will be analyzed to test the relationship between these attributes and e-learning adoption. The result shows that the four perceived innovative attributes, namely "perceived relative advantage", "perceived compatibility", "perceived trialability" and "percieved observability", have certain influences on peoples' adoption of e-learning.

Water quality management plays a very important role in fish life and aquatic product quality. The paper firstly selects the index system and confirm the weight of each of the water quality factors dependent on the fish tolerance to the factors of water quality integrated with the result of the expert questionnaire by the Delphi method with the Water Quality Standard, then constructs the fuzzy evaluation model of the multiplex water quality parameter and classifies the standard of water quality into five classes of standard. At last the paper give an experimental model based on the monitored datum in North China. It shows that it can evaluate the water quality integrative and provide the degree of membership that the water quality belongs to all the standards.

This paper presents the comparableness of SVM method to artificial neural networks in the outlier detection problem of high dimensions. Experiments performed on real dataset show that the performance of this method is mostly superior to that of artificial neural networks. The proposed method, SVM served to exemplify that kernel-based learning algorithms can be employed as an efficient method for evaluating the revegetation potentiality of abandoned lands from coal mining activities.

The technological advances in the production and storage of fishery products have exceeded the development of effective market demand over the past one-decade. As a result, participants within the fishery industry have frequently found themselves facing increased variable and declining prices negatively affected the fishery industry and need to be pro-active instead of reactive to market changes. In this paper, a hybrid model is described, which integrate the Wavelet Neural Network with Genetic Algorithm and can predict the short-term aquatic products price. Then the theory framework and algorithms of the model are discussed. Then an empirical example is described. It shows that the proposed model can predict the short-term aquatic product price with the scale of one day, one week and ten days and the precision of prediction is not the decline trend when the forecasting scale is extended.
