In software engineering there is no silver bullet available for software processes. Instead many technologies can be used in the development and it is difficult to find the best for specific needs. It is necessary to distinguish among software projects and specific aspects such as project-specific development processes need to be addressed individually. To address this, a framework for project-specific process configuration is presented. It provides technology ranking, selection, and combination as well as process configuration. A preliminary evaluation of the framework was conducted.
