Wireless Sensor Networks WSNs mainly consist of small, battery-operated, limited memory and limited computational power sensor nodes. It is important to achieve secure communication among WSNs even if some nodes are compromised. In this paper, three kinds of self-healing schemes for WSNs are described, a polynomial-based self-healing scheme RPoK, a proactive co-operative self-healing scheme POLISH, and a simple random key pre-distribution scheme with self-healing S-RKP. Comparing three schemes, we clarify each difference and discuss optimal scheme under each different environments.
