Abstract

Human herpesvirus-6 (HHV-6), in particularly HHV-6B, can reactivate in immunocompromised patients. Especially after stem cell transplantation, reactivation of HHV-6 can cause complications, such as limbic encephalitis. We present a case of a 61-year-old man with B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. He presented with subacute lethargy, confusion and hyperhidrosis. Following this, we will give a short review of the literature considering clinical and technical features as well as treatment options., (© 2022.
