Abstract

The article presents two cases of generalized seizures in a three-year-old boy and six-year-old girl. The first patient was found to have papular skin lesions while the second child has received treatment for scabies. Lindane lotion was administered orally to both patients. Ingestion of lindane, also known as gamma benzene hexachloride, insecticide was found to affect the ammonia metabolism in brain.
