Abstract

The article focuses on the use of metaphor in journalism for describing political activity. It is stated that the metaphorical approach is best seen in political caricatures, but such a metaphorical way of describing political activity is taken for granted if it is not questioned. It is stated that describing politics metaphorically in terms of a game creates a competition between parties and highlights the differences of opinion between individuals and parties.
