The notable increase in retraction papers has attracted considerable attention from diverse stakeholders. Various sources are now offering information related to research integrity, including concerns voiced on social media, disclosed lists of paper mills, and retraction notices accessible through journal websites. However, despite the availability of such resources, there remains a lack of a unified platform to consolidate this information, thereby hindering efficient searching and cross-referencing. Thus, it is imperative to develop a comprehensive platform for retracted papers and related concerns. This article aims to introduce "Amend," a platform designed to integrate information on research integrity from diverse sources. The Amend platform consolidates concerns and lists of problematic articles sourced from social media platforms (e.g., PubPeer, For Better Science), retraction notices from journal websites, and citation databases (e.g., Web of Science, CrossRef). Moreover, Amend includes investigation and punishment announcements released by administrative agencies (e.g., NSFC, MOE, MOST, CAS). Each related paper is marked and can be traced back to its information source via a provided link. Furthermore, the Amend database incorporates various attributes of retracted articles, including citation topics, funding details, open access status, and more. The reasons for retraction are identified and classified as either academic misconduct or honest errors, with detailed subcategories provided for further clarity. Within the Amend platform, a total of 32,515 retracted papers indexed in SCI, SSCI, and ESCI between 1980 and 2023 were identified. Of these, 26,620 (81.87%) were associated with academic misconduct. The retraction rate stands at 6.64 per 10,000 articles. Notably, the retraction rate for non-gold open access articles significantly differs from that for gold open access articles, with this disparity progressively widening over the years. Furthermore, the reasons for retractions have shifted from traditional individual behaviors like falsification, fabrication, plagiarism, and duplication to more organized large-scale fraudulent practices, including Paper Mills, Fake Peer-review, and Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC). The Amend platform may not fully capture all retracted and concerning papers, thereby impacting its comprehensiveness. Additionally, inaccuracies in retraction notices may lead to errors in tagged reasons. Amend provides an integrated platform for stakeholders to enhance monitoring, analysis, and research on academic misconduct issues. Ultimately, the Amend database can contribute to upholding scientific integrity. Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), this study revolutionizes examination management and education in universities by developing an intelligent system encompassing comprehensive management, pre-examination activities, scheduling, and preparation. The system also features a quality management component for educational outcomes. An enhanced genetic algorithm introduces an adaptation function to optimize intelligent grouping, facilitating effective exam paper distribution. Applied at Y University, our innovative approach significantly refines exam paper difficulty (ranging between 0.5016 and 0.5581) and differentiation (0.3845 to 0.4596), showcasing the intelligent algorithm’s effectiveness in exam management and contributing valuable insights to educational research.

Urban digital twin is a key step to build a smart city, digital twin is an important application scenario for smart city platform, and the relationship between the two are both current research hotspots. In this paper, we will start from the demand of digital twin on smart city platform, study the architecture method and key technology of smart city platform, in this paper's platform construction method compared to the traditional construction method, reduces the difficulty of digital twin smart city construction, and also reduces the coupling degree between smart city platform modules, and use a smart city platform for engineering verification. Finally compared with the traditional smart platform construction techniques, the techniques in this paper are better than the traditional ones in terms of coupling, difficulty and cost. Through engineering verification and experimental results show that this paper on the digital twin-oriented smart city construction technology, the coupling degree of each module is the lowest, and in the development efficiency experiments, this paper by comparing with the traditional technology, the experimental development cycle compared to the traditional technology can be shortened by 61.7% of the development cycle, greatly reducing the development cost and improving the construction efficiency. Purpose: This study aims to explore the trend and status of international collaboration in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and to understand the hot topics, core groups, and major collaboration patterns in global AI research. Design/methodology/approach: We selected 38,224 papers in the field of AI from 1985 to 2019 in the core collection database of Web of Science (WoS) and studied international collaboration from the perspectives of authors, institutions, and countries through bibliometric analysis and social network analysis. Findings: The bibliometric results show that in the field of AI, the number of published papers is increasing every year, and 84.8% of them are cooperative papers. Collaboration with more than three authors, collaboration between two countries and collaboration within institutions are the three main levels of collaboration patterns. Through social network analysis, this study found that the US, the UK, France, and Spain led global collaboration research in the field of AI at the country level, while Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, and United Arab Emirates had a high degree of international participation. Collaboration at the institution level reflects obvious regional and economic characteristics. There are the Developing Countries Institution Collaboration Group led by Iran, China, and Vietnam, as well as the Developed Countries Institution Collaboration Group led by the US, Canada, the UK. Also, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (China) plays an important, pivotal role in connecting the these institutional collaboration groups. Research limitations: First, participant contributions in international collaboration may have varied, but in our research they are viewed equally when building collaboration networks. Second, although the edge weight in the collaboration network is considered, it is only used to help reduce the network and does not reflect the strength of collaboration. Practical implications: The findings fill the current shortage of research on international collaboration in AI. They will help inform scientists and policy makers about the future of AI research. This research explores the evolution, future trends, and major collaboration patterns of international collaboration in the field of AI over the past 35 years. Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning have become increasingly important in modern society and are poised to play an increasingly prominent role in education. This paper seeks to provide a theoretical framework for interrogating the integration of AI in education spaces. The paper argues that the eventual response of educators to recent developments in artificial intelligence is eerily like the earlier cycles of integrating ICT in education and, decades earlier, calculators into mathematics instruction. Premised on the argument that there are similarities between the calculator revolution in mathematics education and the ICT revolution in education several decades ago and the current ongoing developments in artificial intelligence, this paper offers a theoretical lens. The theoretical lens is composed of the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, Technology Acceptance Model, Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, Socio-technical system theory, and Diffusion of Innovation theory. The paper concludes that despite spatial differences between the ICT revolution and the artificial intelligence revolution, there are shared similarities warranting adoption of a similar theoretical lens. This paper explores the transformative impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the management consultancy sector over the next five years. Tracing the evolution of AI from its inception in 1956 to recent language and image capabilities, the study addresses the imminent challenges posed to consultancy by AI startups. Examining global legislative approaches, including the EU's strict AI Act, the UK's flexible stance, the self-regulatory approach in the US, and China's targeted regulations, it unveils the legislative ambiguity for software developers. The essay anticipates transformative implications on consultancy firms, emphasizing the war for talent, potential shifts in business models, and the evolving role of consultants as agents of thought. As AI becomes integral, consultancy firms are urged to adapt, incorporating AI into their models while navigating ethical and legal considerations. The economy of Romania is changing quickly, and small and medium-sized enterprises are at a stage where implementing artificial intelligence could make all the difference. Small and medium enterprises that do not have sufficient cash or specialised knowledge find this hard to apply, according to the literature. This paper tries to connect the dots by analyzing the relationship between small and medium enterprises and artificial intelligence in Romania through document analysis and a case study of Exonia, a group of Romanian companies that successfully implemented artificial intelligence in their businesses. The methodology also entails the analysis of graphs based on the digital economy and society index, exemplifying the latest information regarding the position of Romania in respect of small and medium-sized enterprises (and not only) that implemented artificial intelligence compared to the other countries in the European Union. Exonia's example shows how small and medium enterprises can make artificial intelligence an opportunity to obtain more efficient operations and happier customers. A signature is a biometric attribute commonly used for identity verification. It can be represented by a shape created with a classic pen, but it can also contain dynamic information. This information is acquired using a digital input device, such as a graphic tablet or a digital screen and stylus. Information about the dynamics of the signing process is stored in the form of signals that change over time, including pen velocity, pressure, and more. These dynamics are characteristic of an individual and are difficult for a human to forge. However, it is an interesting research issue whether the values of signals describing a dynamic signature can be predicted using artificial intelligence methods. Predicting the dynamics of the signals describing a signature would benefit various scientific problems, including improving the quality of reference signals by detecting anomalies, creating signature templates better suited to individuals, and more effectively detecting potential forgeries by identity verification systems. In this paper, we propose a method for predicting dynamic signature signals using an artificial neural network. The paper discusses the conception of philosophy and ethics in Seneca's Letters, as well as in his other writings, which it sets in the broader context of ancient and modern thought. The introduction outlines the Socratic and Stoic foundations of Seneca's ethics. The next section focuses on the interpretation of passages from the Letters that remind us that the task of philosophy is to teach human to live an active life. The paper points out that, according to Seneca, philosophy resembles art more than knowledge, and Seneca adapts his language and the examples he uses to this effect. In the next section, the paper returns to delineating the relationship between theoretical and practical thought. The specificity of Seneca's position becomes visible in the background of Aristotle's problematization of this relationship. The last section asks how we should approach Seneca's conception of ethics and philosophy. The analyses outlined above show that Seneca's Letters fully express an approach to philosophy as an art of living, an approach that modern authors such as Nietzsche and Foucault consider determinative for the whole of ancient philosophy. The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has raised concerns regarding the potential risks it may pose to humans, society, and the environment. Recent advancements have intensified these concerns, emphasizing the need for a deeper understanding of the technical, societal, and ethical aspects that could lead to adverse or harmful failures in decisions made by autonomous and intelligent systems (AIS). This paper aims to examine the ethical dimensions of risk management in AIS. Its objective is to highlight the significance of ethical considerations in mitigating risks associated with the development, deployment, and use of AIS. The paper provides an overview of various types of AI risks and risk management procedures aimed at mitigating the negative impacts of those risks. We employ a comprehensive risk management approach that combines technical expertise with ethical analysis to ensure alignment with human values and societal objectives. Through the analysis of AI risks and risk management procedures, we advocate for establishing effective mechanisms for ethical oversight and legal control to promote ethical and trustworthy AIS. The findings reveal key risks associated with transparency, accountability, privacy infringement, algorithmic bias, and unintended consequences. To address these challenges, we consider integrating ethical principles into risk management practices, transparent risk communication, continuous engagement with all stakeholders, establishing robust accountability mechanisms, and regular ethical oversight as imperative in ethically designing and operating AI systems. Given the diminished effectiveness of internal audits compared to external audits, we also recommend the implementation of regular monitoring mechanisms through independent external audits when evaluating risk management practices. Artificial Intelligence (AI) functionalities are increasingly being used in vehicle applications. While current product development models take the increasing proportion of software into account, the special requirements of artificial intelligence developments are hardly ever explicitly considered. The new requirements result both from increasing standardisation and regulation and from the iterative and explorative approach inherent in AI model development. This paper identifies the key adaptations to the standard automotive product development process that are required to cover the requirements of AI development. In times when AI's development and research is moving at an unprecedented speed, this paper explores its role in retail banking. The results presented are part of a wider research of market readiness and AI acceptance, especially in developing economies. The research was conducted in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H). The quantitative portion consisted of a survey completed by 671 respondents. This paper focuses on the influence of social factors (perceived humanness, perceived social interactivity, and perceived social presence) on the attitudes towards – and subsequently acceptance of - AI-based services. Chatbots, specifically ChatGPT-4, were the technology the research focused on. The results indicate that perceived humanness and perceived social interactivity have a positive effect on attitudes – and acceptance – of AI-based services. This research could not prove that there is a positive relationship between social presence and attitudes towards AI-based services. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration offer great potential for the future of corporate automation and increased productivity. RPA rapidly evolves into Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) by incorporating advanced technologies and capabilities beyond simple task automation. The paper aims to identify the organisational, technological, and human-centred challenges that companies face in transitioning from RPA to IPA. The research process involved conducting the scientific literature search using the ResearchRabbit AI tool, which provided a set of reference papers relevant to the formulated research questions. As a result of the conducted literature review, the authors identified key challenges and possible countermeasures for companies transitioning from RPA to IPA. The resulting collection of reference scientific articles formed the basis for this study's content and substantive analysis. Furthermore, this study contributes by identifying artificial intelligence techniques and algorithms, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), predictive analytics, and others, that can be integrated with RPA to facilitate the transition to IPA. Agricultural technologies (agri-techs) have focused on developing the AI perspective of human-AI interaction rather than human perceptions and responses. A lack of understanding of their employees' behavioral responses when interacting with advanced technologies can lead to unexpected problems in the future. Drawing on the theoretical perspective of advanced user engagement, this paper examines the impact of five different technostressors on user engagement and, consequently, user experience. For data collection, 464 participants from the U.S. and Asian (Singaporean) agri-tech sectors were interviewed via an electronic survey. The U.S. study showed that techno-overload, techno-complexity, and techno-uncertainty were positively related to user engagement (t = 2.609; t = 6.998, and t = 6.013, respectively), whereas techno-invasion and techno-uncertainty were negatively correlated with user engagement (t = –2.167 and t = –3.119, respectively). The Singapore study showed that techno-overload, techno-complexity, and techno-invasion were negatively related to user engagement (t = –2.185, t = –2.765; t = –5.062, respectively), while techno-insecurity and techno-uncertainty surprisingly showed nonlinear correlations with user engagement. In both studies, user engagement is positively related to user experience (t = 2.009 for the U.S. study and t = 2.887 for the Singapore study). First, this paper provides agri-techs with a modern framework to better predict the behavioral responses of their employees when managing AI. The paper presents the current development status of the Romanian capital market and the opportunities it offers for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to finance their growth strategies through the stock exchange. It is well known that SMEs represent a growth engine for any economy in terms of contribution to GDP, employment rate, and tax contribution to the state budget. Their primary role of supplying goods and services dynamises the market landscape and creates the proper context for competition, innovation, and research and development. However, in this context, they are the most affected by the economic crisis, inflationary pressures, post-Covid uncertainties, and the war in Ukraine. Thus, their access to finance is now more important than ever. The paper's focus is on SMEs from the Romanian information technology (IT) sector and how their growth since listing could be a driver for other Romanian IT companies to list on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. The stock exchanges offer SMEs medium and long-term financing opportunities, regardless of market conditions. Therefore, the more successful the SMEs business, the more significant their role as an economic growth engine is. The research is based on a quantitative approach-content analysis provided by Bucharest Stock Exchange and local and international financial institutions. The SMEs' performance profile is determined by using trading evaluation indicators for IT SMEs listed on the Exchange. Results show that, by listing, companies benefit from contextual market conditions, highlighting the recommendation for other companies from the IT sector to list their business on the stock exchange. The aim of this paper is to present a bibliometric analysis of the literature focusing on the role of the intellectual capital in the organizational agility and performance. The methodology used is based on a bibliometric analysis that was performed with the specialized software VOSviewer. The analysis graphically illustrates nine semantic clusters that are presenting the co-citation distances between various concepts that are related to the search expressions that were used, including "intellectual capital", "performance" and "agility". When it comes to the database, there were used the papers published in journals that were indexed in Scopus. The outcomes of this research paper are the graphical representation of the semantic clusters for the already mentioned searched expressions and a series of tables that include the content analysis of the nine clusters and other data of interest concerning the publications (such as the top 10 countries that published articles related to the topic of interest and the types of documents retrieved). The findings are demonstrating that there is a consistent link between innovation, intellectual capital, knowledge management, performance and agility. The contribution of this research comes from the fact that it is the first bibliometric analysis of the correlation between intellectual capital, performance and agility, as reflected in the papers retrieved from Scopus. For decades, both researchers and management specialists along with human resources specialists have tried to explain, understand, measure and evaluate the consequences of the main organizational phenomena considered to be responsible for the employee performance, for their intention to stay within or to leave the organization, as well as for other phenomena with notable implications on the performance of organizations, such as absenteeism and scrap's reduction. Organizational commitment is one of the most important organizational behaviors that leads to a better employee performance and a decrease intention to leave the organization, to reduce absenteeism and to reduce the negative behaviors manifested by employees in relation to the organization. Also, the existence of a high organizational commitment leads to the creation of an innovative working environment. Currently, organizational commitment is one of the most important topics, analyzed both in the academic literature and among practitioners. This is the reason why, in this paper, we aimed to analyze the evolution and structure of the scientific papers that approached this subject, using the method of bibliometric analysis. The data needed in order to perform this analysis was extracted from both the Web of Science and Scopus. Based on the collected data, the evolution in time of the number of publications that approached this subject was analyzed, also the names of the authors who with the most contributions in approaching this subject, the countries where these publications were present, the countries of origin of the authors between which most collaboration relations were established. Also, the intensity of the links between the most used keywords in relation to the analyzed keyword was analyzed, as well as the intensity of the links between the main keywords related to the term organizational commitment. Research and Development investments are critical to fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and achieving sustainable development goals. Horizon 2020 is the largest European Union research and innovation program, which has funded numerous R&D projects across different countries. This paper presents a comparative study of R&D investments in Romania and the EU, based on insights from Horizon 2020 projects. Using a composite indicator approach, we assess Romania's performance in the R&D sector and compare it with other EU countries. The paper provides an overview of the number of projects and entities that participated in Horizon 2020, with a focus on the Romanian business sector. Our findings indicate that the success rate of Romanian projects is slightly higher than the EU average, and there is a significantly higher percentage of Romanian business sector entities that have participated in Horizon 2020 than in the EU. Moreover, some limitations of the Romanian R&D sector are highlighted, such as the low level of R&D expenditure, one of the lowest in the EU, and the low involvement of the business sector in funding R&D, despite being the primary sector under Horizon 2020. The comparative analysis sheds light on the opportunities and challenges for Romania in improving the performance of its R&D sector. By providing a comparative analysis of the performance of Romania and other EU countries in Horizon 2020 projects we can gain insights which can be useful for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in developing and implementing policies and strategies to improve R&D investments. Deep neural network models have become powerful tools of machine learning and artificial intelligence. They can approximate functions and dynamics by learning from examples. This paper reviews the state-of-art of deep learning-based object detection frameworks that are used for fruit detection in general and for olive fruit in particular. A dataset of olive fruit on the tree is built to train and evaluate deep models. The ultimate goal of this work is the capability of on-edge real-time olive fruit detection on the tree from digital videos. Recent work in deep neural networks has led to the development of a state-of-the-art object detector termed You Only Look Once version five (YOLOv5). This paper builds a dataset of 1.2 K source images of olive fruit on the tree and evaluates the latest object detection algorithms focusing on variants of YOLOv5 and YOLOR. The results of the YOLOv5 models show that the YOLOv5 new network models are able to extract rich olive features from images and detect the olive fruit with a high precision of higher than 0.75 mAP_0.5. YOLOv5s performs better for real-time olive fruit detection on the tree over other YOLOv5 variants and YOLOR. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this paper is to propose a holistic conceptual framework focusing on cultural agility, intercultural competence and how they activate within the complex dynamics of disruptive business environments in order to enhance companies' ability to operate in international markets and to respond to the challenges posed by a rapidly changing landscape impacted by fast technological advancements, Artificial Intelligence, global trends or major geopolitical shifts. Our research methods included a critical screening of relevant literature, journals, books, articles, reports, statistics, internet researches, that represented the theoretical part of this study. Based on this theoretical foundation, interpreting our findings, a holistic conceptual framework is proposed. This framework illustrates a process constituted by 4 stages strongly connected with the concepts of organizational culture and strategy. The paper uses qualitative research to investigate the potential uses of artificial intelligence in the field of central banking. The analysis shows that monetary policy, prudential supervision and the oversight of payments are the areas where the use artificial intelligence is most likely to bring benefits. Monetary policy calibration involves working with long time series of data for various parameters and making the necessary analysis and forecasts, an activity in which artificial neural networks may prove useful. Bank supervision can benefit from the use natural language processing algorithms that can read documents and extract the relevant information. Such algorithms can read all of the required documents (not just those that the supervisor selected) and return all of the sentences that contain a certain predefined expression. In the field of the oversight of payments, the capabilities of machine learning to identify new patterns or anomalies in the data that could indicate fraud or money laundering will boost the efforts to combat them. In terms of challenges associated with the use of artificial intelligence in central banking, perhaps the two biggest challenges are that some of the models do not allow for a reasonable level of explainability of the algorithm(s) through which they arrive at the result (especially relevant for bank supervision) and data availability. With respect to the latter, although the issue of quantity of data can be dismissed as a shortcoming given the huge amounts of data available, the issue of data quality seems to be more pronounced, as deficiencies such as data measured incompletely or incorrectly, scarcity and regulatory barriers that impede data sharing may be difficult to surpass. Text-to-image generation is a rapidly growing field that aims to generate images from textual descriptions. This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the latest trends and developments, highlighting their importance and relevance in various domains, such as art, photography, marketing, and learning. The paper describes and compares various text-to-image models and discusses the challenges and limitations of this field. The findings of this paper demonstrate that recent advancements in deep learning and computer vision have led to significant progress in text-to-image models, enabling them to generate high-quality images from textual descriptions. However, challenges such as ensuring the legality and ethical implications of the final products generated by these models need to be addressed. This paper provides insights into these challenges and suggests future directions for this field. In addition, this study emphasises the need for a sustainability-oriented approach in the text-to-image domain. As text-to-image models advance, it is crucial to conscientiously assess their impact on ecological, cultural, and societal dimensions. The aim of this paper is to develop an integrated health data management tool, that aggregates data from various sources, which are in various formats. With the aid of artificial intelligence (AI), this data will be processed and will help healthcare professionals be aware of the improvements that could make the healthcare system be more preventive, predictive and personalized. This paper introduces an integrated medical information management system – that intends to manage medical activities in hospitals, clinics and laboratories and describes its development and future directions of improvement. Furthermore, it presents a smart analysis tool that can generate both statistical data, but also infer additional information from the medical records based on natural language processing (NLP), image processing and machine learning. The novelty of the system is that it gives an overview of the patients’ medical record, statistical analysis, examinations results and interpretations. This paper will address ethical concerns surrounding the representation of vulnerable groups as well as the methodological challenges inherent in using artificial intelligence and human-like computer-generated characters in human studies that involve representing such groups. Such concerns focus on consequences arising from the technological affordances of new systems for creating narratives, as well as graphical and audio representations that are capable of portraying beings with close resemblance to humans. Enacting such virtual representations of humans inevitably gives rise to important ethical questions: (1) Who has the right to tell certain stories? (2) Is it ethical to change the medium of a narrative and the identity of a protagonist? The research paper contends that Artificial Intelligence (AI) serves as a collaborative partner in architectural design, rather than merely a utility tool. To substantiate this argument, a three-phase, nine-test investigation evaluating the strengths and limitations of two prominent AI platforms: Midjourney AI and Stable Diffusion was undertaken. These platforms synergize human creativity and AI capabilities through features like text prompts and image references, thereby fostering innovative avenues in architecture. Our analysis indicates that Midjourney AI is proficient in generating initial design concepts, largely thanks to its extensive data libraries, but is deficient in design refinement and user control. Conversely, Stable Diffusion empowers designers with greater control via features like ControlNet but sacrifices visual clarity due to its smaller generative models. Both platforms share a common flaw: an overemphasis on aesthetics and shape at the expense of functional understanding. Building upon these empirical observations, the paper outlines strategies for designers to reasonably leverage AI in optimising workflows. It confirms two key hypotheses concerning the interplay of creativity, control, and collaboration, emphasising that both human architects and AI systems benefit from iterative feedback and continuous adaptation. The COVID-19 pandemic has rapidly changed the Romanian banking sector, which was forced to adapt to digital technologies and to provide accessible banking services for all kinds of custsomers. The corporate social responsibility practices evolved during the pandemic, from general causes to more targeted initiatives, the Romanian banks offering innovative solutions to fight against the health crisis. The present paper provides a good insight in the corporate social responsibility practices before the pandemic and during the COVID-19 crisis, exploring the best practices of the most representative banks in terms of total assets. The investigation covers five years, from 2017 to 2021, and was based on a content analysis of the sustainability reports of the banks from the sample. The data was processed through the MAXQDA software, revealing a clear correspondence between the corporate social responsibility practices of the banks and the theoretical concept of sustainability: Profit – People – Planet. The qualitative analysis was completed by a quantitative investigation based on a questionnaire applied on a sample of 344 respondents. The comparative analysis outlines the moral implications of corporate social responsibility in the COVID-19 unique environment, considering the balance between the individual health of clients/employees and the profit dimension of corporate social responsibility. The paper focuses on the recovery stages of the banking sector after the critical point of restriction measures, emphasizing the clients' perceptions and attitudes towards digital banking, as a form of social care during pandemic. This paper analysis decision making support systems in the big crops farms and proposes a metaphoric model to illustrate the interdependence of resources usage. The proposed metaphoric model is drawn considering that six types of resources (time, financial, people, knowledge, technology, relational capital) are spent to achieve an objective and puts forward a graphical representation, a hexagonal pyramid to illustrate the interdependence among these six types of resources (the polygon of resources) and the quality of the financial outcome (the height of the pyramid). Examples of digital decision support systems used in big crop farms were used to explain the model's functioning. A particularity of the model consists in the adding of a second mirrored pyramid (resting on the same base) with its height representing the assessment of the environmental impact as a proxy for ESG results. Consequently, the evolved model proposed by the paper, dubbed as The Value Creation Diamond, provides a good springboard in visualizing and assessing the balance between the scaled heights of the two adjoined pyramids (Financial height vs ESG height). The model is deemed to be a useful tool for practitioners as well as educators in their quest to facilitate the wider use of balanced decision-making model considering the resources and outputs in the realm of sustainable development. The purpose of this paper is to perform a semantic analysis of wisdom management that constitutes the driving force for a wise company. That is a company whose goal goes beyond the economic paradigm based on profit maximization. It is a company where managers apply practical wisdom in their decision making processes. Aristotle used to call this practical wisdom phronesis and to consider a higher-order knowledge in his knowledge ontology. Although in the literature there are many papers and books focusing on phronesis, there is no critical analysis from a semantic point of view that is necessary to understand what it is and how it can be applied in wisdom management. Also, for a deeper investigation of the semantic clusters associated with wisdom management, we perform a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, a specialized software for such kinds of studies. Our findings show that wisdom management represents a kind of idealistic process because it is based on o set of values that are not converging toward profit maximization but toward a sustainable company focusing on the well-being of all employees and of the community where the company operates. Holding employees who are highly motivated and who illustrate fulfilment in respect to their work is a catalyst of positive change for nowadays organizations, who perform operations in quickly changing circumstances. Such individuals are known to engage more in organizational citizenship behaviour and steer away from deviant workplace behaviour. As employees display different personality traits and work-related motivation, only organizations which know how to properly engage their personnel, foster organizational citizenship actions and nurture ethical conduct within all organizational levels can attain a leading position on the market. The paper aims to examine the extent to which the socio-economic wellbeing influences 'good' or 'bad' behaviours at work and/or at school. The paper's objectives are twofolded: (1) to understand if there is a causal relationship between the socio-economic wellbeing of individuals and their behaviour at work or/and at school; (2) to determine the extent to which the socioeconomic wellbeing contributes to shaping a 'good' or a 'bad' behaviour at work or/and at school. Correlations and simple linear regression model were employed to understand the predictive power of the socio-economic wellbeing on behaviour once a causal relationship has been confirmed. Results show that the perceived ambition to obtain a high social status, accumulate wealth and become rich and powerful predicts positively a 'bad' behaviour and negatively a 'good' behaviour. Small and medium enterprises are considered as one of the most important sectors in the development of the Palestinian economy. The purpose of this paper is to explore whether risk management and strategic planning have a significant positive influence and to assess the influence of their applications on the sustainable business performance of SMEs in Palestine. A combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches was adopted; secondary data were obtained by a theoretical presentation of previous literature, and primary data was collected by a specific questionnaire. This was done through a random sample of (fifty) questionnaires distributed to owners or managers of SMEs in Palestine. In order to answer the study question, the researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach using SPSS and tested three subquestions which were clarified in the study. This paper's results revealed that risk management and strategic planning have a significant positive influence on the sustainable business performance of SMEs in Palestine. Furthermore, not all Palestinian SMEs' managers use strategic planning and risk management steps since most of them have family businesses that are suffering from a lack of management steps and improper management styles, where most of them tend to use an autocratic management style. Therefore, the researcher recommended SMEs' managers should think and use strategy in their daily operations and use risk management practices to protect their financial resources so they can attain superior sustainable business performance. We conduct an extensive analysis of existing literature to investigate the process of incorporating artificial intelligence into news creation and its influence on the level of confidence consumers have in the news. We have identified a significant lack of knowledge about the impact of openness in AI engagement on consumer views and trust in news media. Expanding on this discrepancy, we suggest a systematic methodology that incorporates controlled experiments and surveys to evaluate the influence of different degrees of openness on consumer trust and involvement with AI-generated news content. In addition, the paper examines the difficulties in establishing confidence in artificial intelligence (AI) inside the European Union, including several aspects such as technological, ethical, social, and legal considerations. With the concept of Industry 4.0 production processes are moving towards autonomy and intelligence. Technologies equipped with artificial intelligence (AI) are involved into processes that are more and more digitized. Collaborative technologies are a feature of discrete processes. The automotive industry has achieved many successes in the process innovation towards smart factories. Other plants, such as smelters or coal mining are also striving to develop smart manufacturing with integrated computer systems to support processes. A continuous production is different from a discrete or batch production. Industry 4.0 concept is focused on discrete production (with high level of automation and robotization of manufacturing) meanwhile there is a gap in implementation of these approach in the continuous production. The objective of the publication is to prepare and design the integrated computer management system based on processes realized in coal and steel manufacturing. Coal and steel production are key elements in a chain of any industrial manufacturing e.g. automotive or machinery engineering. These processes are crucial in building of smart value chain. The article analyses the prospects for the application of artificial intelligence in the delivery of justice by courts. The application of artificial intelligence is increasingly spreading in various different areas of life - both in the daily life of individuals and in the public sector. One of the main areas where artificial intelligence is already being applied is in the area of justice. However, given the complexity and importance of this field, the question arises whether artificial intelligence could really replace the person of the judge. In order to answer this question, the authors first assess what constitutes the delivery of justice. Secondly, the authors analyse the concept of artificial intelligence and the possibilities of its use. Thirdly, the authors assess the potential and risks of artificial intelligence in the delivery of justice. The paper reviews various artificial intelligence models already in use around the world and assesses the application of various technologies (large language models such as ChatGPT) in the court. The development of AI and the changes taking place today can transform the political processes, imposing new threats to the political systems and the entire system of international relations. In this context, ethical issues are of particular concern because they can be blurred by the political decisions made by digital/computer program algorithms; that is, giving power to computer programs to make political decisions can destabilize the political system. This issue is particularly sensitive in terms of ensuring justice and protection of state political interests. Artificial intelligence (AI) has traditionally been used for quantitative analysis using explicit data. However, much of the information critical to decision making remains undocumented and is not stored in a structured way. This study explores the integration of AI, specifically ChatGPT, into Theory of Constraints (TOC) Thinking Process (TP) tools. In this study, we applied ChatGPT to a real-world IT project management case using a variety of research methods, including international literature analysis, observation, and personal experience. The use of the TOC TP allowed us to understand the decision-making process of ChatGPT and to systematically explore its advantages and limitations in creating logical trees of TOC TP. ChatGPT significantly enhanced efficiency and depth in TOC TP data collection and analysis, effectively addressing logical leaps for more coherent structures. It also promoted deeper analytical thinking and aided root cause identification. The integration of ChatGPT into the TOC TP process led to faster decision-making, reduced bias, and clearer analysis. Challenges of ChatGPT including the need for human oversight, specific TOC TP training, and ethical considerations were noted. This study provides an initial investigation into the use of ChatGPT in TOC TP tools. The results suggest that ChatGPT has the potential to be a valuable tool for organizations seeking to improve their decision making and performance.
