The article presents information about sensory stimulation that helps new born babies to develop bodily skills. Babies take in the world around them through touch, vision, hearing, taste, and smell. Each provides them with different information. Touch is a powerful tool for enhancing a baby's early emotional learning. Babies make upset faces when tasting bitter or sour substances. Babies are sensitive to loud sounds therefore they often burst into tears if an adult's voice rises.
