Abstract

We report the case of a fetus with proliferative glomerulonephritis in the context of maternal systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The pattern of the renal lesions correspond to the class III of revisited WHO classification of glomerulonephritis in SLE. Amniotic fluid analysis showed a high level of albumin and the presence of anti-Ro and anti-DNA antibodies that were possibly responsible for the renal injury. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
