The article focuses on the clinical case of a 49-year-old scuba diver who experiences vestibular symptoms. It recalls the first episode of the patient that occurred following a routine dive in which he experienced symptoms such as hearing loss, rotary vertigo and vomiting. It explores the results of several tests done on the patient which include electronystagmography, computed tomography and metabolic examination. It is concluded that diving did not cause reversible inner ear dysfunction in the patient.
