In recent years, there has been an upswing in the research on cyber incivility and its impact on individuals and organizations. Despite its negative consequences, cyber incivility has become increasingly common in the workplace as an increasing number of employees use technology to communicate. This study investigated the impact of cyber incivility on the service innovation of Jordanian hotel workers and the mediating effects of leadership change. A comprehensive survey involving employees of Jordanian hotels was conducted, and responses were subjected to structural equation modeling analysis using Smart PLS 4.0 software. The analysis reveals that cyber incivility has a significant negative direct impact on service innovation, while transformational leadership demonstrates a positive and significant direct effect on service innovation. Additionally, the mediating role of transformational leadership in the relationship between cyber incivility and service innovation is negative and significant (b =2.171, r= 0.000), emphasizing its crucial contribution to mitigating the adverse effects of cyber incivility on service innovation in the hotel industry. This study tested a moderated mediation model of transformational leadership's effects on teacher innovative practices, with teacher commitment as mediator and trust in principal as moderator. Implementing a cross-sectional survey design and using data from 611 teachers working in 56 schools in Turkey, we employed multilevel structural equation modelling with Bayesian estimation to estimate the structural links between our variables. The results provided evidence of the indirect effects of transformational leadership on teacher innovative practices through the significant mediator role of teacher commitment. We also found evidence that trust in principal acted as a significant moderator of the indirect effect of transformational leadership on teacher innovative practice through teacher commitment. This study adds nuanced evidence to the global literature by concluding that the effect of transformational leadership on teacher commitment and innovative practice is contingent upon the extent to which teachers trust their principals. Rooted in both the self-concept based theory of transformational leadership and the conservation of resources (COR) theory, transformational leadership is hypothesized to elicit follower-felt support for excellence and, through it, follower psychological capital (PsyCap), resulting in high follower job performance as well as work engagement. We examined this three-path mediation model with change scores from a two-wave study of 149 Indonesian healthcare workers. When applying structural equation modeling to the change scores, the integrated model was supported. Further cross-lagged analysis showed that transformational leadership had a lagged effect on follower PsyCap and that follower PsyCap had, in turn, a lagged effect on follower job performance. Hence, PsyCap is proposed as a parsimonious element in the self-concept-based theory of transformational leadership. This study proposes that there is relationship between transformational leadership and employee's voice as well as relational identification as a mediation and proactive personality as a moderator. Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyze data gathered from employees at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights through questionnaires. The findings revealed that transformational leadership has a significant effect on employee's voice and relational identification; relational identification mediates the relation between transformational leadership and employee voice behavior, and proactive personality will weaken the transformational effect on employee's voice behavior. This study enriches empirical studies that employee's voice can represent the opinions and ideas of employees with the presence of relational identification, proactive personality, and transformational leadership in the organization. Furthermore, transformational leadership can build relational identification that is strengthened by a proactive personality so that employees are happy to convey their voices. Aim: While integrated leadership has received significant scholarly attention in the past decade, most existing research in this vein has focused on its impact on student achievement and often dismissed how it might be related to instructional practices, which are at the center of many school reforms. In this research, we examined the relationship between integrated leadership and teacher professional learning and teacher practices in Turkey, where educational policy makers have recently introduced several school reform initiatives. More specifically, we aimed to examine the moderating function of transformational leadership in the relationship between instructional leadership and teacher practices, with an emphasis on the mediating role of teacher professional learning. Research Design: We conducted this study with a cross-sectional design and moderated mediation model. Data collected from 616 teachers working in a mix of primary and secondary schools in Turkey were analyzed using structural equation modeling and bootstrapping tests. Findings: We found evidence that transformational leadership acted as a moderator of the indirect effect of principal instructional leadership on teachers' instructional practices through teacher professional learning. Implications: This study adds to the accumulated body of knowledge on the effects of school leadership by concluding that the effect of instructional leadership on teacher learning and practice is contingent upon the extent to which principals enact transformational leadership. School principals who adopt a more comprehensive leadership approach that combines instructional leadership and transformational leadership practices can maximize their effects on student achievement through teacher learning, and better address the ever-growing demands of educational reforms. The study examined the association between transformational leadership and organizational identification of employees. The relationship between transformational leadership and psychological empowerment and the possible mediating role of psychological empowerment in the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational identification of employees was also studied. A hypothesized model was developed to examine the relationship between the constructs. Sample for the study comprised 199 employees from the IT sector. Instruments used were Multi-factor Leadership Questionnaire, Smidts et al.'s (2001) Organizational Identification Questionnaire and Spreitzer's (1995) Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS and structural equation modeling in AMOS. It was indicated that transformational leadership had positive and significant impact on organizational identification as well as psychological empowerment of employees. Psychological empowerment acting as a mediator between these two constructs was established. This article looks at the relationship between five sub-dimensions of transformational leadership (idealised influence attributed, idealised influence behaviour, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation and individualised consideration), follower's karma-yoga and follower's perceived group cohesiveness. Data were collected in a research and development organisation in India, from 771 employees (561 male and 210 female) with minimum 5 years of work experience in that organisation. Partial least squares structural equation modelling PLS-SEM analysis shows that four sub-dimensions of transformational leadership—idealised influence attributed, idealised influence behaviour, inspirational motivation, and intellectual stimulation—are positively related to follower's perceived group cohesiveness. In addition, this relationship is partially mediated by the follower's karma-yoga. Focusing on increasing the frequency of idealised influence attributed, idealised influence behaviour, inspirational motivation and intellectual stimulation of managers will result in making the employees more karma-yoga oriented; both these will result in increasing the follower's perceived group cohesiveness in the organisation, making the work environment more harmonious and productive. To explore the impact mechanism of principals' transformational leadership on students' modernity, this study adopted the structural equation model to test the multiple mediating effects of school climate, teacher quality, and effective teaching on the relationship between principals' transformational leadership and students' modernity. Results showed that there was a positive correlation between principals' transformational leadership and students' modernity; school climate, teacher quality, and effective teaching fully mediated the relationship between principals' transformational leadership and students' modernity, totally accounting for 64.37% of all the indirect effects; the mediating effects of school climate, teacher quality, and effective teaching, respectively, accounted for 30.20%, 52.29%, and 17.51%. According to these results, principal should adopt the approach of transformational leadership, promote the constructing of a fair, inclusive and innovative school climate, emphasize the improvement of teachers' social, emotional, and innovative qualities, and encourage teachers to reflect their teaching and conduct rational practices to improve students' modernity. Participatory organizational interventions are a recommended approach to improve the psychosocial work environment. As interventions of this type are shaped by employees and managers, their implementation can vary considerably, making evaluation challenging. This study contributes to our understanding of interventions by focusing on how the intervention mechanisms and the organizational context interact. In a mixed-methods design, we use multi-group structural equation modelling of pre-and post-intervention survey data (N = 204) to test multiple mediational mechanisms in three different contexts. We then analyse interviews (N = 67) and field observations of workshops to identify the role of contextual factors. The findings suggest that participatory organizational interventions do not produce one-size-fits-all results; on the contrary, intervention results are better understood as products of multiple intervention mechanisms interacting with the specific organizational contexts. The Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) is the most widely used instrument for assessing dimensions of leadership style; yet, most studies have failed to reproduce the original MLQ factor structure. The current study evaluates the dimensionality and nomological validity of Bass's transactional and transformational leadership model using the MLQ in a sample of registered nurses working in acute care hospitals in Canada. A combination of exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to evaluate the hypothetical factor structure of the MLQ consisting of five transformational factors, and three transactional factors. Results suggest that the eight-factor solution displayed best fit indices; however, two transactional factors should be extracted due to high interscale correlations and lack of differential relationships with the two leadership variables. The present cross-sectional study aimed to investigate the mediating role of interactional justice, in the relationship between transformational leadership and cohesion in team sports. Multilevel Structural Equation Modeling was employed to test individual- and group-level models using a sample of 315 athletes from 25 team sports. The results suggest that interactional justice acts as a mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and cohesion. Nevertheless, results are contingent on the level of analysis (i.e. individual- or group-level) and the specific dimension of interactional justice (i.e. interpersonal or informational justice). Although transformational leadership and mission valence have been linked separately to desirable work-related attitudes, research has not fully considered how these two factors work together. In fact, both these value-based concepts emphasize the motivational properties of an agency’s mission. In this study, a causal model was developed to explore how transformational leadership and mission valence interact to influence turnover intentions and extra-role behaviors. The model was tested using survey data from U.S. public sector employees. The results showed that transformational leadership had a direct, negative association with turnover intentions. Furthermore, the relationship between transformational leadership and turnover intentions was partially mediated by mission valence, whereas the relationship between transformational leadership and extra-role behaviors was fully mediated by mission valence. A crucial point of debate around the construct of self-leadership is its supposed lack of distinctiveness from other theoretically related constructs. We empirically investigate in professionals with leadership experience (N = 374) with a bifactor structural equation modeling approach to what extent self-leadership (a) is distinct from related classic motivation constructs (need for achievement, self-regulation, self-efficacy) and (b) harbors incremental predictive validity over and above these motivation constructs in predicting individual job performance and leadership behavior styles (transformational leadership, transactional leadership, laissez-faire leadership). Findings yielded that self-leadership (a) generally showed only moderate associations with constructs of classic motivation literature and was sufficiently distinct from them and (b) could incrementally predict outcomes above and beyond related classic motivation constructs, alluding to its uniqueness. This study evaluates the influence of leadership style and employee trust in their leaders on job satisfaction. 341 personnel (164 men, 177 women; M age = 33.5 yr., SD = 5.1) from four large insurance companies in Taiwan completed the transformational leadership behavior inventory, the leadership trust scale and a short version of the Minnesota (Job) Satisfaction Questionnaire. A bootstrapping mediation and structural equation modeling revealed that the effect of transformational leadership on job satisfaction was mediated by leadership trust. The present paper evaluates the relation between transformational leadership and market orientation along with the mediating and moderating effects of change commitment for employees in customer centers in Taiwan. 327 questionnaires were returned by personnel at several customer centers in four different insurance companies. Inter-rater agreement was acceptable based on the multiple raters (i.e., the consumer-related employees from the division groups) of one individual (i.e., a manager)--indicating the aggregated measures were acceptable. The multi-source sample comprised data taken from the four division centers: phone services, customer representatives, financial specialists, and front-line salespeople. The relations were assessed using a multiple mediation procedure incorporating bootstrap techniques and PRODCLIN2 with structural equation modeling analysis. Although the role of leadership has been emphasized in facilitating learning in the workplace, there is limited systematic research directly linked to leadership and learning. This study investigated the characteristics of leadership behaviors that facilitate workplace learning, using data from a survey of 228 nursing managers in 22 hospitals. Results of structural equation modeling indicate that encouraging reflective practice plays a central role in enhancing workplace learning, and reflective practice was facilitated by clarifying the mission of the unit and promoting role modeling. The findings suggest that reflective practice combined with goal setting and social learning promotes workplace learning. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings are discussed.
